Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mencari informasi tentang hubungan antara persepsi mahasiswa terhadap kinerja dosen dengan hasil belajar pada mata kuliah Geometri II. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif studi korelasi. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diperoleh bahwapersepsi mahasiswa terhadap kinerja dosen mata kuliah Geometri II yang dilihat dari kriteria kehadiran, perilaku dan penampilan, penilaian, penyampaian materi, pemberian tes, media pembelajaran dan sumber belajar memperoleh rata-rata persentase sebesar 82,79% dengan kategori baik. Hasil belajar mahasiswa pada mata kuliah Geometri II memperoleh ratarata 69 dengan kategori cukup. Terdapat hubungan positif antara persepsi mahasiswa terhadap kinerja dosen dengan hasil belajar mahasiswa pada mata kuliah Geometri II dengan harga korelasi 0,492. Kata Kunci: Persepsi mahasiswa, kinerja dosen, hasil belajar.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui peningkatan kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 8 Pontianak setelah diterapkan model pembelajaran berbasis masalah (PBM) pada materi trapesium. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) Terdapat peningkatan kemampuan pemecahan masalah setelah diberi model PBM. (2) Rata-rata peningkatan kemampuan pemecahan masalah siswa setelah diberi model PBM pada materi trapesium sebesar 0,619 dengan kategori sedang. (3) Kemampuan pemecahan masalah siswa dilihat dari tiap indikator adalah sebagai berikut, pada pre-test: indikator pertama dengan kriteria tinggi, indikator kedua dengan kriteria cukup, indikator ketiga dengan kriteria rendah, dan indikator keempat dengan kriteria rendah, sedangkan pada post-test: indikator pertama dengan kategori sangat tinggi, indikator kedua dengan kategori tinggi, indikator ketiga dengan kategori tinggi, indikator keempat dengan kategori cukup. (4) Peningkatan kemampuan pemecahan masalah dilihat dari tiap indikator yaitu pada indikator pertama dengan kategori sedang, indikator kedua dengan kategori sedang, indikator ketiga dengan kategori sedang, dan indikator keempat dengan kategori sedang.  Kata kunci: Pembelajaran Berbasis Masalah (PBM), Kemampuan Pemecahan Masalah.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui: (1) manakah yang lebih baik, prestasi belajar matematika siswa yang dikenai model pembelajaran TGT dengan pendekatan kontekstual atau dikenai model pembelajaran TGT tanpa pendekatan kontekstual; (2) manakah yang lebih baik, prestasi belajar matematika siswa yang mempunyai aspek afektif tinggi, sedang atau rendah; (3) apakah terdapat interaksi antara model pembelajaran dan aspek afektif terhadap prestasi belajar matematika siswa. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen semu dengan rancangan design faktorial 2x3. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diperoleh hasil sebagai berikut. (1) Prestasi belajar matematika siswa dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran TGT dengan pendekatan kontekstual lebih baik daripada menggunakan model pembelajaran TGT tanpa pendekatan kontekstual pada materi pecahan. (2) Prestasi belajar matematika siswa yang memiliki aspek afektif tinggi lebih baik daripada siswa yang memiliki aspek afektif sedang dan rendah, serta prestasi belajar matematika siswa yang memiliki aspek afektif sedang lebih baik daripada siswa yang memiliki aspek afektif rendah pada materi pecahan. (3) Terdapat interaksi antara model pembelajaran dan aspek afektif terhadap prestasi belajar matematika siswaKata kunci: Teams Games Tournament (TGT) dan Kontekstual, Prestasi Belajar, Aspek Afektif.

Abstract

This research to classify the most comparison and described the results of the study grade VII B students SMP Koperasi Pontianak the academic year 2017/2018, based on cognitive Revised Bloom’s Taxonomy.  Research method used is descriptive method with a qualitative approach. The subjects of this research were students of class VII B with high and low ability levels. The instruments in this research were daily test questions and student answer sheets on the subject of comparison and interview guidelines. Based on the results of research, obtained the percentage classifications about 20% for understand (C2) and 80% for apply (C3). Students' mathematics learning outcomes based on cognitive domains Revised Bloom’s Taxonomy is that students are better able to solve problems with an understanding indicator of 60% than the problem with the indicator applying at 19.2%. Students with high ability to achieve indicators understand and apply while students with low abilities do not reach both indicators. Abstract

The purpose of the research in the study was to study the development of learning discovery-based pocket book media on students' mathematical understanding abilities. The research methodology used is the method of research and development (R & D). Based on the results of development, research, and discussion, it can be concluded that the development of learning discovery-based pocket book media on mathematical understanding skills reaches a level of validity with excellent categories and achieves practicality with very practical criteria

Abstract

This research is a development research that aims to develop and assess the quality of mathematical teaching materials based on fable books character in a rectangular material that is valid, meets classical completeness, and good student response The type of research used is Research & Development (R & D) research with reference to the Borg & Gall model. The experimental subjects in this study were seventh grade students of MTs Al-huda, Mubung Village, Hulu Gurung Subdistrict, Kapuas Hulu District with a total of 17 students. Based on the results of a limited trial conducted, it was found that (1) the results of character fable book validation obtained the average score of 85,42% with a very valid category so there was no need to revise and experts stated that the developed fable character was feasible to be used and can be tested in the field, (2) the results of testing the use of products through student learning outcomes tests obtained classical completeness were 76,47% so as to achieve classical completeness where the completeness of classical completeness set at MTs Al-huda Mubung Village is 70%, and (3) student responses to Mathematical teaching materials based on fable books with character with an average score of 87,54% with a very good category

Abstract

Abstrak:Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan kemampuan menerjemahkan ekspresi aljabar siswa ditinjau dari kecerdasan majemuk. Pemahaman siswa dapat dilihat dari kemampuan menerjemahkan, dalam hal ini kecerdasan yang diteliti hanya empat ranah yaitu: kecerdasan linguistik, logika matematika, visual-spasial dan kecerdasan interpersonal. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif dengan rancangan penelitian studi kasus menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah 22 siswa kelas VII A SMP Negeri 15 Pontianak Tahun Ajaran 2016/2017. Instrumen penelitian adalah angket dan tes. Prosedur analisis data menggunakan tiga tahap yaitu: (1) reduksi, (2) penyajian data, (3) pengambilan keputusan atau verifikasi. Hasil penelitian yang diperoleh adalah rata-rata nilai yang diperoleh siswa dengan kecerdasan linguistik sebesar 91,66 kategori amat baik, kecerdasan logika matematika sebesar 59,99 kategori kurang, visual-spasial sebesar 68,74, dan kecerdasan interpersonal sebesar 59,93 kategori kurang.Abstract:The purpose of this research was to describe the students’ ability in explaining algebraic expressions in terms of multiple intelligences. The students' understanding could be seen from the ability to explain, in this case the intelligence studied was only four domains, namely: linguistic intelligence, mathematical logic, visual-spatial and interpersonal intelligence. The research method used was qualitative with descriptive approach. The research instruments were questionnaire and test. The analysis procedures used three steps: (1) reduction, (2) presenting the data, (3) deciding or verification. The subject in this research was 22 students of class VII A in SMPN 15 Pontianak Academic Year of 2016/2017. The result obtained was the average values which included very good criteria (91.66) in linguistic intelligence, less (59.99) in mathematical logic intelligence, 68.74 in visual-spatial, and less criteria (59.93) in interpersonal intelligence.

Abstract

The purpose of this research, to see the difference between the model of Missouri Mathematics Project learning and conventional learning on mathematical problem-solving abilities in terms of students' self-confidence. The method used in this research is an experimental with kind of a Quasi-Experimental, and the research design is a 2x3 factorial design. The population in this study were all students of class XI MIPA of SMA Negeri 6 Pontianak consist of four classes, with class XI MIPA III and XI MIPA IV samples selected by the Cluster Random Sampling technique. Based on the analysis of variance of two paths with unequal cells it is concluded that: 1) The Missouri Mathematics Project learning model provides better mathematical problem-solving abilities compared to conventional learning in the matrix material. 2) Students who have high, medium and low self-confidence have no difference in the ability to solve mathematical problems in the matrix material. 3) In each learning model, students with high, medium and low self-confidence do not provide differences in mathematical problem solving between self -confidence found in themselves. 4) At each level of students' self-confidence, the Missouri Mathematics Project learning model provides better mathematical problem-solving skills than conventional learning.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan media Pop-Up Book berbasis Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) dalam pencapaian kemampuan pemecahan masalah siswa SMP yang valid, praktis, dan efektif. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian pengembangan Thiagarajan dengan 3 tahap yaitu tahap define, design, dan develop. Produk valid dilihat dari hasil validasi ahli, produk praktis dilihat dari hasil angket, sedangkan produk efektif dilihat dari hasil uji coba. Hasil validasi para ahli memperoleh aspek materi dinyatakan valid dengan hasil sebesar 82,42%, sedangkan aspek media dinyatakan sangat valid dengan hasil sebesar 86,15%. Hasil angket respon guru memperoleh hasil sebesar 90,59%, sedangkan hasil angket respon siswa diperoleh hasil sebesar 89,12% dengan kriteria sangat praktis. Hasil uji coba memperoleh hasil sebesar 81,58% dengan kriteria efektif dimana terdapat 31 siswa yang tuntas dan 7 siswa yang tidak tuntas dari standar kelulusan minimum yang ditentukan oleh sekolah adalah 75 untuk mata pelajaran matematika. Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan media Pop-Up Book berbasis CTL dapat menfasilitasi pencapaian kemampuan pemecahan masalah siswa SMP. AbstractThis study aims to produce a Pop-Up Book media based on Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) in achieving valid, practical, and effective problem solving abilities of junior high school students. This research is a Thiagarajan development study with 3 stages: define, design, and develop. The validity of the product is seen from the results of expert validation, the practicality of the product is seen from the results of the questionnaire, while the effectiveness of the product is seen from the results of the trial run. The results of the validation of the experts obtained the material aspect was declared valid with 82.42%, while the media aspect was declared very valid with 86.15%. The results of the teacher questionnaire responses obtained of 90.59%, while the results of student response questionnaires obtained of 89.12% with very practical criteria. The trial results obtained of 81.58% with effective criteria where there are 31 students who completed and 7 students who did not complete the minimum graduation standards determined by the school is 75 for mathematics. Therefore, it can be concluded that CTL-based Pop-Up Book media can facilitate the achievement of junior high school students' problem solving abilities.
