Abstract

This research was based on the modification of the DeLone and McLean information systems models by adding end-user computing satisfaction variables to determine the success factors for e-government systems. This model was adopted due to the aim of this study to investigate the factors responsible for the successful implementation of e-government by bringing it closer to public value. However, while the DeLone and McLean models focus more on the information system approach, the model proposed was on the premise that system quality (SQ), information quality (IQ), content (CO) and format (FO) are determinants of e-government system user satisfaction. Furthermore, the net benefits through a five-dimensional public value determinants were used to evaluate e-government websites from a community perspective. Responses from 150 communities were analyzed by smart PLS 3.0 using structural equation models to examine the relationship between the constructs of the proposed model. This study contributes to the research gap in adopting DeLone and McLean's model in the e-government due to the limitation in its validation for different contexts. The results support the effect of content variables on user satisfaction and simultaneously prove that it is possible to explain net benefits, with an r-squared value of 69.1%, using the variables in the proposed model. The five dimensions of public value adopted all proved to have a positive influence with a confidence level of 95%. The level of construct significance identified is able to help in the formulation of strategies to improve e-government services.

Abstract

Traffic jam is a major traffic problem often found in big cities of Indonesia. It is because the number of vehicles increases annually. Therefore, a simulation to detect the number of vehicles in every lane of traffic is needed to monitor the traffic. Traffic control is also required in order to reduce traffic jam. This paper develops a vehicle detection and counting system using image processing. Detection is carried out using image segmentation which is processed by object filtering and blob extraction. Morphological operators are employed for blob extraction. Testing is conducted using a video obtained from the ATCS Bandung. The video is taken at the Laswi - A. Yani intersection Bandung. Software prototypes are created in C++, using Windows Forms Application as a programming library for Windows and Open CV for image processing module. The result shows that blob detection method can give good results if there is no intersection between blobs of each car. The performance is poor when this method is used for heavy traffic conditions, where the cars are close to each other. The performance level of sensitivity is 91.67%, precision is 61.11%, specificity is 80.55%, f-Measure is 73.33%, and accuracy is 83.33%. The accuracy for vehicles detection on sunny condition is 82.11% and reduced by 76.50% on rainy condition. This method works better in quiet condition, with accuracy of 83.07%, and is reduced by 67.70% in crowded condition. The average processing time is 0.042 seconds when using video, and 0.033 seconds using real camera.

Abstract

Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) merupakan suatu piranti yang dibuat sebagai pengganti kumpulan relai-relai mekanik yang digunakan dalam sistem kontrol. PLC berkerja dengan cara membaca instruksi-instruksi dari masukannya. Karena PLC pada umumnya memiliki harga yang cukup mahal dan hanya beberapa orang yang dapat mempelajarinya, maka dibuatlah PLC trainer. PLC trainer dirancang menggunakan mikrokontroler Arduino Uno, modul input (berupa: toggle switch, push button, dan limit switch), dan modul output (berupa: LED, seven segment, motor DC, dan buzzer). PLC trainer juga dilengkapi prototype lampu lalu lintas sebagai modul output simulasi lampu lalu lintas empat arah. PLC trainer memanfaatkan LDmicro untuk membuat pemrograman ladder diagram dengan instruksi-instruksi sesuai dengan keinginan programmer dan menggunakan software Xloader untuk upload program ke Arduino Uno. Dari hasil pengujian diperoleh bahwa mikrokontroler Arduino Uno dapat dimanfaatkan sebagai PLC trainer untuk modul pembelajaran.

Abstract

Berbagai permasalahan yang terjadi pada sistem monitoring tangki pendam SPBU dapat menyebabkan tidak efisien dan efektifnya dalam memantau berapa debit dan volume cairan pada tangki pendam SPBU. Dengan demikian, diperlukan sistem monitoring yang dapat terintegrasi dengan perangkat komputer dan internet. Sistem monitoring ini berfungsi memberikan informasi yang terjadi di dalam tangki pendam SPBU. Konsep Internet of Things (IoT) membuat sebuah perangkat dapat berkomunikasi seperti mengirim dan menerima data melalui jaringan internet. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang sistem monitoring tangki SPBU dengan menggunakan ESP8266, sensor aliran, dan sensor ultrasonik. Aplikasi antarmuka yang digunakan adalah Virtuino dan Thingspeak yang mampu memberikan informasi secara real time kepada pengguna sehingga dapat memantau keadaan secara terus menerus tanpa harus mengecek ke lapangan. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwa sistem mampu memantau dan mengirimkan data volume cairan dengan terus menerus. Dengan sistem ini diharapkan dapat membuat pekerjaan lebih efisien dan efektif untuk pengelola SPBU.

Abstract

AbstrakSistem pemantau dan kendali memiliki fungsi untuk merekap data dan mengakses perangkat ruangan yang terpasang pada setiap titik pemasangan. Komunikasi yang digunakan adalah komunikasi nirkabel ZigBee dengan menggunakan topologi mesh. Coordinator merupakan pusat data yang  terhubung langsung ke komputer,  dan hasilnya  ditampilkan dalam bentuk HMI, sehingga seorang operator dapat dengan mudah memantau dan mengendalikan perangkat-perangkat yang terpasang pada ruangan. Perangkat ruangan terdiri dari sensor diantaranya PIR, arus, pendeteksi asap dan sidik jari, yang kesemuannya terhubung dengan arduino yang bertugas sebagai pemroses data untuk membentuk protokol-protokol yang akan dikirim dari titik end device ke coordinator. Hasil pengujian jarak pengiriman antara titik pemasangan ZigBee maksimal 93 meter tanpa halangan dan 30 meter dengan halangan. Adapun throughput pengiriman data dari end device dan simulator ke titik coordinator akan semakin besar jika delay diperkecil dan paket data diperbesar dalam setiap pengirimannya. Hasil dari  packet loss pada pengujian didapatkan 4,94 %, ini dikarenakan faktor floating  yang terjadi pada arduino.Kata kunci: ZigBee, topologi mesh, throughput, packet lossAbstractThe monitoring and control system has the function of recording data and accessing the installed room equipment. The communication used is ZigBee wireless communication with mesh topology. The coordinator is a data center connected directly to the computer, and the results are displayed in the form of HMI, so that an operator can easily monitor and control the devices installed in the room. The room equipment consists of sensors such as PIR, current, smoke detector and fingerprint, all of which are connected to the arduino that serves as data processors in the form of protocols to be sent from the end device point to the coordinator. The result of test, delivery distance between ZigBee installation point is 93 meters away without obstruction and 30 meter with obstacle. The data transmission throughput from the end device and simulator to the coordinator point will be greater if the delay is reduced and the data packet enlarged in each delivery. The result of packet loss in the test is 4.94%, this is due to floating factor.Keywords: ZigBee, topologi mesh, throughput, packet loss

Abstract

Air merupakan sumber kehidupan, fungsi air bagi kehidupan tidak dapat digantikan oleh senyawa lain. Sehingga pemeliharaan terhadap lingkungan terutama ketersedian air adalah hal yang perlu diperhatikan, dalam penelitian ini dirancang dan dibuat sebuah alat yang dapat memberikan informasi dan peringatan dini mengenai penggunaan air sehari- hari agar terhindar dari penggunaan air secara berlebihan dengan menggunakan RFID (radio frequency identification), sensor Flowmeter dan Arduino Uno R3 sebagai otak dari alat ini. RFID berfungsi untuk menentukan jumlah volume air yang dapat mengalir melalui sensor memanfaatkan pembacaan nomor id tag RFID , setelah itu maka selenoid akan terbuka kemudian air dapat mengalir melalui sensor dan jumlah volume air tersebut akan ditampilkn oleh LCD (liquid Crystal display) sehingga memberikan tampilan digital, selain itu pada   alat ini terdapat dua kondisi yaitu level peringatan dan level kontrol,sehingga memudahkan penggunanya untuk melakukan monitoring penggunaan air sehari- hari. Hasil tugas akhir ini menunjukan keakuratan yang cukup baik yaitu 99.2 % dengan error 0.3 liter.

Abstract

The aim of the activity is to increase the competence of teachers and students by training Arduino-based practice modules in the implementation of digital and communication systems that have multi-input and multi-output devices. Partner problems are industry technology 4.0 and teacher competence. Industry 4.0 technology issues are implemented in practical training modules that are useful as learning media that can be implemented for various applications. The problem of teacher competence with training and development of learning media so as to be able to create and innovate in digital and communication systems. The method used in this activity is discussion, explanation, demonstration, exercise, and observation. The results of this activity increase the competence and knowledge of vocational schools by marked the participants are able to operate and implement modules.

Abstract

The greater the demands to make graduates with adequate skills, qualified instructors need to be prepared, as well as possessing good skills. One of the skills that need to be possessed by vocational school teachers in the fields of electricity, electricity and automation is mechatronics. Based on needs analysis and discussion with partners, 3 (three) main problems were identified, namely: (1) Teachers still often use the lecture method, so students become passive and result in low student competency in mechatronic subjects. (2) The condition of school facilities and infrastructure is still inadequate resulting in reduced interest and motivation of students in participating in learning. (3) The use of mechatronics learning media by teachers is less than optimal resulting in students' creativity in solving problems not appearing. The survey results of this community service implementation team found that Balikpapan vocational school teachers in engineering require mechatronics skills in using the Programable Logic Controller (PLC) related to making models, designing programs and programming them according to the needs of the teaching and learning process to anticipate technological progress in the field of control . Based on the problem, a Mechatronics Competency Enhancement training for Balikpapan Vocational Students was held, regarding PLC skills. The results of the activities carried out can be drawn several conclusions, among them (1) community service activities carried out in the form of Programable Logic Controller (PLC) skills training to be able to make models, design programs and program their own PLCs according to the learning process needs, (2) This activity was carried out on July 25-27 2019 with representatives from 5 Vocational High Schools in the city of Balikpapan. Abstract

Bel pada lembaga pendidikan merupakan salah satu sarana untuk memberitahukan para siswa dan pengajar bahwa waktu pelajaran akan mulai dan berakhir. Di beberapa sekolah, bel tanda pelajaran masih dioperasikan secara manual, sehingga masih sering terjadi keterlambatan dalam pemberitahuan dimulainya jam pelajaran. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengatasi masalah keterlambatan yang sering terjadi ketika menggunakan bel manual, yaitu dengan merancang suatu sistem indikator jam pelajaran otomatis yang menggunakan mikrokontroler Arduino Uno R3 dan rangkaian pewaktu DS323. Dan sebagai output alat ini menggunakan Mp3 player sehingga nada yang dihasilkan antara tanda mulai dan selesai dari jam pelajaran berbeda. Proses kerja dari alat yang dibuat yaitu jika waktu yang ditampilkan pada Liquid Crystal Display sesuai dengan jadwal waktu yang dimasukkan ke dalam mikrokontroler Arduino Uno R3, maka Mp3 player akan memainkan file audio yang terdapat di dalam kartu memori sesuai dengan urutan yang telah diprogram. Pewaktuan tersebut dikendalikan oleh slave yaitu Real Time Clock DS3231 melalui jalur I2C Bus. Alat ini akan bekerja secara otomatis selama kegiatan belajar mengajar berlangsung dan waktu serta jadwal dapat diatur langsung tanpa harus mengunggah ulang ke Arduino. Kata kunci : Liquid Crystal Display, Arduino Uno R3, Real Time Clock DS3231, I2C Bus, Mp3 player. In educational institutions, bell is one of means to inform the student and the teacher the class period will begin or end. At several schools, the bell is still manually operated, so it is still frequent delays to inform the lesson time. This research aims to overcome the problem of delays that often occur when using manual bel by designing a lesson time indicator automated system device that uses an Arduino Uno R3 microcontroller and DS3231 timer circuit. And as an output device, Mp3 player is used so that the tones produced between the start and the end of the lesson time is different. The working process of the device is if the time displayed on the liquid crystal display accordance with the time schedule that is inputted into the Arduino Uno R3 microcontroller, the Mp3 player will play the audio files that is contained in the memory card by the order that has been programmed. The timing is controlled by the slave that is Real Time Clock DS3231 through I2C Bus. This device will work automatically as the teaching and learning take place, and also the time and schedule can be set directly without having to re-upload it to the Arduino. Abstract

This research intends to analyze and test variables that influence implementation E-government, especially in Balikpapan city. The study uses the information system success model DeLone and McLean which has six main variables that can be used to measure the success rate of information systems. Variables that support the success of e-government that support this research include system quality and information quality as exogenous variables. Furthermore, the use and user satisfaction variables are endogenous variables that also affect the net benefits variable. Based on previous research, service quality variables have not been proven to affect endogenous variables, so the researchers omit these variables. Data collection is done by distributing questionnaires to users of e-government services in Balikpapan City as many as 100 respondents. Data processing methods with Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) using the Smart PLS 3.0 approach. This research proves the R-square value of the dependent variable user satisfaction is 62%, and the net benefit variable is 59.1%, which means that the dependent variable can be explained through independent variables in this research model. Based on the findings in the study, it shows that the quality of the system has an effect on user satisfaction but has no impact on use.
