Abstract

The low outcomes of studying physics by student at MTsN Tungkob can be influenced by several factors. One of this factor is the implementation of the method or model of learning is not suitable with the submitted materials by teachers.This study aims to find out the activities of teachers and students, the skills of teachers in managing the learning, student learning outcomes and student responses to the use of ARIAS learning model which integrated by constructivist theory of learning process. The results showed improvement of the activities both teachers and students, increasing the skills of teachers in managing the learning, and improving students? learning outcomes. Students' response to the use of ARIAS learning model integrated by constructivist theory tend to be positive. From this study it can be concluded that the implementation of ARIAS learning model integrated by constructivist theory can improve student learning outcomes on the topic of Aircraft Simple.

Abstract

AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hasil belajar siswa, aktivitas guru dan siswa, kemampuan guru dalam mengelola pembelajaran dan respon siswa terhadap penerapan model pembelajaran generatif.Jenis Penelitian ini adalah penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) dan pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan statistik deskriptif.Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa-siswi kelas IX.4 SMPN 8 Banda Aceh tahun ajaran 2016/2017 yang berjumlah 21 orang.Instrumen pengumpul data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu tes dan non tes.Instrumen tes dalam bentuk soal pretest dan posttest, sedangkan instrument non tes dalam bentuk lembar observasi aktivitas guru dan siswa, lembar kemampuan guru dalam mengelola pembelajaran dan angket respon siswa terhadap pembelajaran.Keempat instrument non tes tersebut dianalisis menggunakan teknik persentase. Hasil penelitian menunjukan adanya peningkatan hasil belajar siswa secara individual dari 57% menjadi 89% dan ketuntasan klasikal juga meningkat dari 60% sampai mencapai 87,5%. Peningkatan juga terjadi pada aktivitas guru dan siswa.Kemampuan guru dalam mengelola pembelajaran meningkat dari kategori baik menjadi sangat baik.Selain itu, respon siswa terhadap pembelajaran juga sangat baik sekali dimana 90% siswa menyatakan senang terhadap penerapan model pembelajaran generatif dengan menggunakan laboratorium virtual. Berdasarkan penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran generatif dengan menggunakan laboratorium virtual dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa, meningkatkan aktivitas guru dan siswa, meningkatkan kemampuan guru dalam mengelola pembelajaran pada materi listrik dinamis.Kata kunci: model pembelajaran generatif, virtual laboratorium, hasil belajar AbstractThis study aims to find out the result of  student learning, teacher and student activity, the ability of teachers in managing learning and students response to the application of the generative learning model. This research is a type of class action (PTK) and the approach used in this research is descriptive statistical approach. The subjects of study  were students of class IX.4 SMPN 8 Banda Aceh the school year 2016/2017 totaling 21 people. Data collection instruments used in this study is a test and non test. Test instruments in the form of matter pretest and posttest, whereas the non-test instrument in the form of sheets of teacher and student activity observation, sheets teachers ability in managing  learning and sheet of student responses of learning. The fourth non-test instrument are analyzed using percentages. The results showed an increase in student learning outcomes on an individual basis from 57% to 89% and classical completeness also increased from 60% to reach 87.5%. The increase also occurred in the activities of teachers and students. The ability of teachers in managing learning increases from good to be excellent category. In addition, the students response to learning is also very well where 90% of students said he was happy of generative learning model application using the virtual laboratory. Based on this research can be concluded that the application of the generative learning model by using virtual labs can improve student learning results, increasing the activity of teachers and students, increasing the teachers ability in managing learning in a dynamic electrical lesson.Keywords: generative learning model, virtual labs, learning results

Abstract

AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbandingan hasil belajar siswa kelas X MAN Darussalam yang diajarkan dengan menggunakan laboratorium nyata dan laboratorium virtual pada materi Hukum Newton. Sampel dalam penelitian ini diambil dengan menggunakan teknik purposive sampling sehingga terpilih siswa kelas X-IPA1 yang berjumlah 20 siswa sebagai kelas eksperimen 1, dan siswa kelas X-IPA2 yang berjumlah 25 siswa sebagai kelas eksperimen 2.  Data diperoleh dari tes hasil belajar siswa yang diajarkan dengan menggunakan laboratorium nyata dan laboratorium virtual dan teknik analisis data digunakan rumus uji-t. Diperoleh hasil analisis data berdasarkan kriteria pengujian dua pihak terima H0 jika  –t(1 – 1/2 α) < t < t(1– 1/2α), pada taraf signifikan α = 0,05 dengan derajat kebebasan 43 diperoleh thitung sebesar 1,76 dan ttabel sebesar 2,021. Karena nilai - thitung >- ttabeldan thitung < ttabel atau -1,76 > -2,021 dan 1,76 < 2,021  maka dinyatakan Ho diterima. Berdasarkan analisis data maka dinyatakan hipotesis penelitian ditolak. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa tidak terdapat perbedaan hasil belajar fisika dengan menggunakan laboratorium nyata dan laboratorium virtual siswa kelas X MAN Darussalam pada materi hukum newton.Kata Kunci : Laboratorium Nyata, Laboratorium Virtual, Hasil Belajar.AbstractThis research aims to know compare the results of the student in X MAN Darussalam which taught by real lab and virtual lab at Newtons Law matter. The sampling in this research were taken by using purposive sampling technique that was selected the student on X-IPA totally 20 students as the class experimental 1 and the student on X-IPA2 totally 25 students as the class experimental 2. The data obtained from tests of student learning outcomes are taught by real laboratory and virtual laboratories and data analysis techniques used by formula “uji-t”. Obtained results of data analysis based on the criterion of testing the two parties received H0 if –t(1 - 1/2 α) <t <t(1-1/2α) at the level significant α = 0.05 with 43 degrees of freedom thitung=1.76 and ttabel  2,021 , Because the score – t > - ttabel and t < ttabel or -1.76 > -2.021 and 1.76 < 2.021 then declared Ho received. Based on the data analysis revealed the research hypothesis is rejected. It can be concluded that there isn’t differences in physics learning outcomes are taught by real laboratory and virtual laboratories in X MAN Darussalam on Newtons laws of matter.Keywords: Laboratory Real, Virtual Laboratory, Learning Outcomes.

Abstract

AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hasil belajar, aktivitas guru dan aktivitas siswa, keterampilan guru dalam mengelola pembelajaran dan respon siswa terhadap penggunaan model pemebelajaran Think-Talk-Write dalam proses pembelajaran. Jenis penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK). Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VIII/5 SMP Negeri 1 Banda Aceh yang berjumlah sebanyak 29 orang. Pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian yaitu menggunakan tes, observasi kemampuan guru dalam mengelola pembelajaran, observasi aktivitas siswa dan angket respon siswa. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ketuntasan belajar siswa meningkat dapat dilihat pada siklus I 60,0%, pada siklus II 70,0%, pada siklus III 100% yang menunjukkan bahwa hasil belajar siswa sudah mencapai ketuntasan secara klasikal. Hasil observasi aktivitas guru dan siswa pada siklus I di kategorikan baik, pada siklus II dan III di kategorikan sangat baik. Hasil observasi keterampilan guru dalam mengelola pembelajaran pada siklus I dan II di kategorikan baik, pada siklus III di kategorikan sangat baik. Respon siswa terhadap model pembelajaran Think-Talk-Write ini mendapat respon positif sebesa 98%. Oleh karena itu dapat disimpulkan bahwa model pembelajaran Think-Talk-Write (TTW) sangat baik, hasil belajar siswa meningkat serta mereka senang dengan adanya model pembelajaran tersebut dilaksanakan di SMP Negeri 1 Banda Aceh. Kata kunci: Model Pembelajaran Think-Talk-Write (TTW), hasil belajar AbstractThe study in order to determine the learning outcomes, the activities of teachers and student activities, teachers skills in manage learning and students response to the use of models pemebelajaran Think-Talk-Write in the learning process. This type of research is the Classroom Action Research (PTK). Subjects in this study were all students of class VIII / 5 SMP Negeri 1 Banda Aceh numbering as many as 29 people. The collection of data used in the study is to use tests, observation ability of teachers to manage learning, observation of student activities and student questionnaire responses. Based on the results of the study increased student mastery learning can be seen in the first cycle of 60.0%, 70.0% in the second cycle, the third cycle of 100%, which indicates that results for students already achieve mastery in classical. Results of activity observation of teachers and students in the first cycle categorized either, in cycle II and III categorized very well. The results of the observation skills of teachers in managing learning in cycle I and II is categorized either, in cycle IIIdi very well categorized. The response of students to the learning model Think-Talk-Write is a positive response sebesa 98%. Therefore it can be concluded that the learning model Think-Talk-Write (TTW) was very good, the result of increased student learning as well as they pleased with their learning model will be implemented in SMP Negeri 1 Banda Aceh.Keywords: Learning Models Think-Talk-Write (TTW), learning outcomes

Abstract

AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat perbedaan hasil belajar Melalui Model Problem Based Learning dan Direct Instruction Siswa Kelas X MAN Suak Timah Aceh Barat pada materi hukum Newton. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen dengan populasi adalah kelas X di MAN Suak Timah Kabupaten Aceh Barat. Sampel penelitian diambil dengan menggunakan teknik purposive sampling, sehingga diperoleh kelas X/A yang berjumlah 20 siswa sebagai kelas eksperimen, dan kelas X/B yang berjumlah 20 siswa sebagai kelas kontrol. Pengumpulan data penelitian dilakukan dengan menggunakan tes hasil belajar dalam bentuk Pretest dan posttest yang terdiri dari 10 butir soal pilihan ganda. Hasil analisis data menggunakan uji-t dua sampel yang terikat. Hasil penelitian diperoleh skor rata-rata posttest kelas eksperimen berbeda signifikan dengan rata-rata skor Posttest kelas kontrol dengan pengujian dua pihak maka, th > tt dan –th < -tt, atau 2,57 > 2,024 dan -2,57 < - 2,024 pada taraf signifikan 95%.  Maka, dapat ditarik kesimpulan bahwa terdapat Perbedaan Hasil Belajar Melalui Model Problem Based Learning dan Direct Instruction Siswa Kelas X MAN Suak Timah Kabupaten Aceh Barat.Kata Kunci : Problem Based Learning, Direct Instruction, Hasil belajar.AbstractThis research aims to see the difference in the learning through the model of the Problem Based Learning and Direct Instruction the students of class X MAN Suak Timah West Aceh on the matter of the law Newton. This research experiment with the population is of class X IN MAN Suak Timah district of West Aceh. Research samples taken using the technique of purposive sampling, so that obtained the class X/A 20 students as class experiments and class X/B which numbered 20 students as control classes. Data Collection research was done by using the test results of the study in the form of Pretest and posttest consisting of 10 items multiple choice questions. The results of the analysis of the data using the test t two samples bound. The research results obtained the average posttest score class experiment differ significantly with the average Posttest score control classes with the trial of the two parties then, , th > tt dan –th < -tt, atau 2,57 > 2,024 and -2,57 < - 2,024   on equal significant 95%. The conclusion can be that there is a difference in the learning through the model of the Problem Based Learning and Direct Instruction the students of class X MAN Suak Timah district of West Aceh.Key Words : Problem Based Learning, Direct Instruction, learning results.
