Abstract

Students are an inseparable part for the advancement and development of a civilization of the thinking of a nation. Students must become virus transmitters in social change so that students do not have a distance with the community. This is where students are required to have a great commitment to engage in a change and not as pretentious with various theories of change. What is needed by the intellectuals of students today is to make the knowledge and knowledge to reconstruct and redecorate various ideas of ideas that are not only enjoyed individually but can be held morally accountable so as to affect the pattern of fikir and positive behavior patterns for the community. Transformative thinking is the ultimate goal in which the realization of the civilization of thought is to put science on the goal of its basic principle in which science no longer seeks "for what it is" or "for what it is" but how science is able to translate how science should have a real impact to solve problems that exist in the life of nation and state.

Abstract

This study was conducted by delivering 8-day action research workshop, followed up by mentoring into each group during teacher doing action research focusing on designing action research proposal, wrting their action research report, and wrting report into scientific article,,facilitating teacher to publish their article into journal at  LPM Unimed or journal with  ISSN.This study was conducted at two partner schools:  SD Negeri 101868 Desa Sena Kecamatan Batang Kuis and  SD Negeri 105323 Desa Bakaran Batu Kecamatan Batang Kuis Kabupaten Deli Serdang. The outcome of this  IbM is Primary teachers understand principle and procedure of action research, teachers are able to design and write action research proposal, conduct action research, from planning, action, observation, until  reflection, reporting result of action research and publish them into scientific journal. The output of this IbM is product of action research reports and scientific articles, hopefully they can be published. Key Word: Action Research Workshop, Teaching Learning Innovation

Abstract

Abstrak : Pendekatan Keterampilan Proses Pada Mata Kuliah Konsep Dasar IPA SD. Pelaksanaan pembelajaran Konsep Dasar IPA dengan menggunakan pendekatan keterampilan proses dilakukan dalam tiga kegiatan utama; (1) dilakukan dengan penyajian pokok materi dan tujuan pembelajaran dalam bentuk pertanyaan atau masalah yang harus dijawab oleh mahasiswa setelah melakukan proses IPA tertentu, dan mahasiswa mempelajari petunjuk umum kegiatan dan lembar kerja. (2) Penyajian atau kegiatan inti, di bawah bimbingan dosen mahasiswa melakukan proses IPA mulai dari menyusun hipotesis, melakukan pengamatan, pengukuran, pengklasifikasian, penyimpulan, dan melaporkan hasil-hasilnya, baru bersama dosen membahas hasil temuannya. (3) Dosen melakukan evaluasi keberhasilan proses pembelajaran dan dilanjutkan dengan penguasaan kepada mahasiswa untuk perbaikan dan pengayaan.Kata Kunci : Pendekatan Keterampilan Proses, Matakuliah Konsep Dasar IPA SD

Abstract

Abstrak : Penerapan Model Pembelajaran Kooperatif Tipe Investigasi Kelompok Pada Perkuliahan Pendidikan IPA. Inovasi yang dilakukan dalam setiap proses pembelajaran diharapkan dapat meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran yang bermuara pada peningkatan hasil belajar sesuai dengan standar kompetensi yang telah ditetapkan. Salah satu upaya untuk meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran adalah dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe investigasi kelompok. Dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran kooperatif investigasi kelompok, mahasiswa mampu menguasai materi secara komprehensif. Model pembelajaran investigasi kelompok terdapat 6 langkah kegiatan yakni; grouping, planning, investigation, organizing, presenting, dan evaluating, sehingga pada pembelajaran kooperatif investigasi kelompok ini dapat membantu mahasiswa mencapai pengusaan hakekat IPA sebagai proses, hakekat IPA sebagai produk, dan hakekat IPA sebagai sikap ilmiah. Selain itu, model investigasi kelompok ini dapat dijadikan mahasiswa sebagai referensi tentang model-model pembelajaran yang akan dipergunakan ketika mereka menjadi tenaga pendidik.Kata Kunci : Model Pembelajaran Kooperatif, Pendidikan IPA

Abstract

Community service activities generally aim to develop character in developing the potential of students who have intelligence, personality and noble character. Through this activity to assist teachers in 104202 Bandar Setia Elementary School, Percut Sei District, Deli Serdang District in carrying out character-based authentic assessments. The model applied in the implementation of Community Service is carried out in several stages, namely: First, the stage of preparation with activities, (a) conducting socialization to teachers; (b) carrying out observations and interviews; (c) determining the schedule of activities; and (d) preparing facilities and infrastructure. Second, the implementation phase through, (a) Focus Group Discussion (FGD); (b) training and education for the preparation of authentic assessment instruments; and (c) assisting in the application of character-based authentic assessments. Third, the evaluation and reflection phase is an assessment of attitudes, skills and knowledge. Through this activity the teacher has character-based authentic assessment guidelines and the formation of the Teacher Working Group (KKG)
