Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui: (1) Pengaruh metode learning cycle dan inkuiri terbimbing terhadap prestasi belajar mahasiswa (2) Pengaruh pemahaman metode ilmiah tinggi dan rendah terhadap prestasi belajar mahasiswa. Penelitian ini bertipe kuasi eksperimen. Penelitian dilaksanakan pada program studi Pendidikan IPA FKIP UST semester 1 tahun ajaran 2016/2017. Teknik pengumpulan data untuk prestasi belajar dan pemahaman metode ilmiah menggunakan tes. Teknik analisis data untuk uji hipotesis menggunakan analisis variansi dua jalan dengan sel tidak sama (ANOVA). Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang telah dilakukan dapat disimpulkan bahwa: (1) Tidak ada pengaruh pembelajaran dengan metode learning cycle dan inkuiri terbimbing terhadap prestasi belajar mahasiswa (p=0.057) (2) Ada pengaruh pemahaman metode ilmiahÂ rendah dan tinggi terhadap prestasi belajar mahasiswa (p=0.000).
The aims of this research were to find out: (1) the effect of learning method by applying Problem Based Learning toward the studentâs achievement. (2) The effect of learning style toward studentâs achievement. (3) The effect of independence toward the studentâs achievement. (4) The interaction between the learning style and independence toward the studentsâ achievement. This research used experimental method. The population was the students of Â Primary School Education Program in semester 4 school year 2011/2012 by eight classes. Two classes were taken as the samples by applying cluster random sampling technique. Studentâs achievement were collected by using test method, while the studentâs learning style and studentâs independence was collected by employing questionnaire method. The data analysis technique used was a three way analysis of variance with unequal cells (ANOVA). The results were: (1) there was no influence of Problem Based Learning methods toward studentâs achievement (p=0.620). (2) There was no influence of learning style by visual, auditorial, and kinestetic toward studentsâ achievement (p=0.455). (3) There was no influence of high and low of studentâ independence toward the studentsâ achievement (p=0.703). (4) There was no interaction between the learning style and the studentâs independence toward the studentsâ achievement (p=0.708).Â Keywords : Problem Based Learning, Learning style, Independence
The aim of this study was to identify the descriptive trends of natural science learning outcomes of eighth-grade students SMP N 3 Kasihan Bantul academic year 2016/2017 which guided by inquiry learning approach and expository. Comparatively to determine the differences in natural science learning outcomes of eighth-grade students of SMP N 3 Kasihan Bantul academic year 2016/2017 between learning by using guided inquiry approach and expository. The research used Quasi-Experimental research type. Descriptively the results of the research showed that the trends of natural science learning outcomes eighth-grade students of SMP N 3 Kasihan Bantul academic year 2016/2017 which guided inquiry learning approach including very high category, while the use of expository learning models including in the high category. Comparatively, there were significant differences in natural science learning outcomes of eighth-grade students of SMP N 3 Kasihan Bantul academic year 2016/2017 between guided inquiry learning approach and expository. It Meant the were any influences of guided inquiry approach to natural science learning outcomes eighth-grade students of SMP N 3 Kasihan Bantul academic year 2016/2017.
The purpose of this research is to know the tendency of science learning result of VII students of SMP Taman Dewasa Jetis Yogyakarta in academic year 2016/2017 which study using STAD type cooperative learning model (achievement model achievement), direct learning model, and student learning motivation. The object of this study is the result of learning science IPA students. The type of this research is Quasi Eksperimen. The data was collected by using documentation technique to know the students initial ability, questionnaire technique to know the students learning motivation, and the test technique to know the learning result of the science student. The test instrument is about multiple choice questions 30 questions, and positive and negative questionnaire instruments. The results obtained f= 1.596 with p = 0.140 and the result of learning achievement equal to 19,83, mean of the result of questionnaire equal to 74,22. Based on the average of learning outcomes and the results of questionnaires, then there is the influence of the use of STAD type cooperative learning model on the learning outcomes of science students of class VII in review of student learning motivation.
The purpose of this descriptive study to determine the tendency of learning result of Science Study Program whose learning using interactive media and without interactive media. Comparative, aims to determine differences of learning result between learning using interactive media and without interactive media. The kind of this research is descriptive-comparative wich is âQuasi Eksperimentâ. The population in this research is the whole of students in class VIII of SMP Negeri 1 Banguntapan in academic year 2015/2016. The technique of data collection uses the documentation and test technique. Data analysis is deccriptively used with ideal norma curve criteria and comparatively with test. Descriptively, the result of the research shows that the trend of learning result that learning using interactive media include the very high criteria, without interactive media include the high criteria. Comparatively, there are effectÂ of the use interactive media to learning result of science in class VIII SMP Negeri 1 Banguntapan in academic year 2015/2016.
This study descriptively aims to identify the outcomes of the learning of IPA which was used the basic skill approach and expository approach on the students in 8th of SMPN 11 YogyakartaÂ in academic year 2015/2016. Comperatively to determine the difference of the IPA learning outcomes between the basic skill approach and expository approach on the students in 8th of SMPN 11 YogyakartaÂ in academic year 2015/2016. This study belongs to Quasi experiment. The result of this study descriptively showed that the tendency of the learning outcomes used basic skill approach was the highest category and the learning outcomes which was used expository approach belongs to the high category. Comperatively there was a significance difference of the IPA learning outcomes between the learning used basic skill approach and expository approach. The average of the learning outcomes that used basic skill approach was higher than expository approach. It means that there was the influence of the basic skill approach towards the IPA learning outcomes on the students in 8th of SMPN 11 YogyakartaÂ in academic year 2015/2016.
This research aims to determine the tendency of natural science result study between using Outdoor Learning model and Ekspository learning model. Comparatively aims to determine differences on natural science result study student class VII MTs N Dlingo on both the learning model. The data analysis technique using t-test but previously performed analysis prerequisite test including normality test distribution and homogeneity of variance test. The result of descriptive research showed that the tendency on natural science result study Outdoor Leraning model included the very high category, and the use of Ekspository learning model included the high category. The analysis shows that there are significant differences on natural science result study on both the learning model. The average of natural science result study using Outdoor Learning model is higher than EkspositoryÂ learning model, so it can be concluded that the effect of Outdoor Learning model on natural science result study.
Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengetahui (1) kecenderungan hasil belajar dan kemampuan berpikir kritis dari siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 1 Imogiri melalui pembelajaran model PBL dan DI. (2) Mengetahui perbedaan hasil belajar dari siswa siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 1 Imogiri melalui pembelajaran model PBL dan DI ditinjau dari kemampuan berpikir kritis. Pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan teknik dokumentasi, tes, dan observasi. Teknik analisis data menggunakan ANAKOVA satu jalur. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan yang sangat signifikan antara hasil belajar IPA dengan model PBL dan dengan model DI ditinjau dari kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa (F hitung = 5,323 dan p = 0,002). Skor rata-rata hasil belajar IPA dengan model PBL lebih tinggi daripada DI. Hal ini berarti bahwa model PBL lebih efektif daripada model DI.
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pembelajaran Inquiry terhadap hasil belajar IPA siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 2 Imogiri tahun ajaran 2017/2018 ditinjau dari keterampilan bertanya siswa. Jenis penelitian ini adalah eksperimen semu. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan tes dan angket. Teknik analisis data menggunakan anacova. Uji prasyarat analisisnya menggunakan uji normalitas, homogenitas dan linieritas. Hasil penelitian secara komparatif menunjukan ada perbedaan yang sangat signifikan hasil belajar IPA anatara model pembelajaran Inquiry dan model pembelajaran langsung ditinjau dari keterampilan bertanya siswa dengan Fhitung = 17,257 dan p = 0,000. Rerata hasil belajar IPA dan keterampilan bertanya dengan pembelajaran Inquiry lebih tinggi dari model pembelajaran langsung, maka ada pengaruh penggunaan model pembelajaran Inquiry terhadap hasil belajar IPA siswa kelas VII ditinjau dari keterampilan bertanya siswa.Â AbstractThis research aims to discover the influence of learning inquiry to the learning outcomes of science student of the seventh grade of SMP Negeri 2 Imogiri in terms of their questioning skill, in the academic year of 2017/2018. The type of this research is a quasi-experiment. The technique to collecting data is using test and questionnaires. The technique of the data analysis is using anacova. The test of analysis prerequisite is using the test of normality, homogeneity, and linearity. The outcomes of the research comparatively demonstrates that there is a significant difference ofÂ learning outcomes of natural science (IPA) between inquiry learning model and direct learning model observed by studentâs questioning skill with F = 17,257 and P = 0,00. The average of science learning outcomes and questioning skills with Inquiry learning is higher than direct learning model, then there is the influence of the use of Inquiry learning model to the results of science learning of seventh grade students in terms of students questioning skills.
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: 1) menghasilkan Lembar Kerja Siswa (LKS) berbasis Project Based Learning (PjBL) pada materi konsep energi dan sumber energi guna meningkatkan keterampilan proses sains siswa kelas VII SMP, 2) mendeskripsikan kualitas LKS berbasis PjBL yang dikembangkan. Penelitian ini termasuk penelitian pengembangan dengan model pengembangan 4D. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan instrumen penilaian untuk beberapa reviewer. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis kualitas LKS. Berdasarkan penilaian dosen ahli, peer reviewer, dan guru IPA diperoleh skor rata-rata 141,9 dengan persentase keidealan 81,1% menyatakan bahwa kualitas LKS Sangat Baik. Hasil tanggapan siswa diperoleh skor rata-rata 75 dengan persentase keidealan 88,2% menyatakan bahwa kualitas LKS Sangat Baik. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa LKS yang dikembangkan layak digunakan dalam pembelajaran.
Developing The Student’s Worksheet Based on Project Based Learning to Improve Student Science Process Skills on Junior High School
This research was aimed to: 1) produced a student’s worksheet based on project based learning on concept of energy and energy resources material to improve he student’s science process skills in seven grade of Junior High School, 2) described the quality of student’s worksheet based on project based learning was developed. This research is include research and development with 4D models. Data collection technique used assessment instrument for reviewers. Data analysis technique used analysis quality of student’s worksheet. According to assessment of expert lecturer, peer reviewer, and natural science teacher got an average score of 141,9 with ideal presentage of 81,1% stated that the quality of student’s worksheet was very good. The result of students respons got an average score of 75 with ideal percentage of 88,2% stated that the quality of student’s worksheet was very good. In conclusion that the student’s worksheet had been developed was feasible to implement on the lesson.
