Abstract

This article is a result of evaluative research of the implementation of Madrasah Tsanawiyah Satu Atap (MTs SA) Sabilul Muttaqien Pamekasan in Madura. The research is focused on how the development of education access on its school, the service availability, the service affordability, the student development and madrasah management. The method used in this research is evaluation method with qualitative approach. The research result concludes that the main facilities of the madrasah are available sufficiently, only the education means which not sufficient enough. On the madrasah management, it is also sufficed both in terms of educators and education personnel in accordance with the needs and academic qualifications as well as thier competencies. From management point of view, this madrasah has already had plans of activity programs, priority scales and five yearly programs. The mechanism of activity program implementations has been arranged on their organization structures and duties, as well as the scheduled evaluation for the activities. To guarantee the transparency and community’ involvement, those programs are arranged with involving the stakeholders element. Artikel ini merupakan hasil penelitian evaluatif tentang Penyelenggaran Madrasah Tsanawiyah Satu Atap (MTs SA), Kasus pada Madrasah Tsanawiyah Satu Atap (MTs SA) Sabilul Muttaqien Pamekasan di Madura. Penelitiannya difokuskan pada bagaimana pengembangan akses pendidikan pada sekolah tersebut, meliputi ketersediaan layanan, keterjangkauan layanan, perkembangan siswa dan tata kelola madrasah. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu metode evaluasi dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menyimpulkan bahwa sarana utama madrasah sudah tersedia dengan cukup memadai, hanya sarana pendidikan yang belum memadai. Begitu pula untuk pengelolalaan madrasah sudah terpenuhi baik tenaga pendidik maupun tenaga kependidikan sesuai kebutuhan dan sesuai kualifikadsi akademik dan kompetensinya. Dari segi manajemen, madrasah ini sudah memiliki perencanaan program kegiatan, skala prioritas dan program kegiatan jangka lima tahunan. Untuk mekanisme penyelenggaraan program kegiatan telah disusun struktur organisasi dan uraian tugasnya, serta evaluasi kegiatan terjadwal. Untuk menjamin transparansi dan keterlibatan masyarakat, program-program tersebut disusun dengan melibatkan unsur pemangku kepentingan (stakeholders).

Abstract

AbstractAs a traditional education institution, Madarijul Ulum Islamic Boarding School still exists in the community and consistently teaches kitab kuning in line with the conception of thought of its establishment and main purpose, which is to educate students to understand the religion (tafaqquh fiddin). Through the qualitative approach, it is found that in addition to still maintain the kitab kuning learning system using wetonan and sorogan methods, Madarijul Ulum Islamic Boarding School made some changes as improvements in teaching Islamic books. The core issue of changes is not about the understanding adopted by the board of school, but rather to the learning process to be performed by the addition of learning facilities, learning systems, learning stage setting, determination of Islamic books for every stage, the addition of non-salaf books (kitab kuning), and others.AbstrakSebagai lembaga pendidikan tradisonal, Pesantren Madarijul Ulum masih tetap eksis di tengah masyarakat dan konsisten mengajarkan kitab-kitab kuning sesuai dengan khittah berdirinya dan tujuan utamanya yaitu mendidik santri untuk memahami agama (tafaqquh fiddin). Melalui pendekatan kua­litatif, ditemukan bahwa selain masih tetap mempertahankan sistem pembelajaran kitab-kitab dengan metode wetonan dan sorogan, Pesantren Madarijul Ulum melakukan beberapa perubahan sebagai pe­nyempurnaan dalam mengajarkan kitab-kitab. Inti perubahan bukanlah menyangkut masalah paham yang selama ini dianut oleh pimpinan pesantren, tetapi lebih kepada proses pembelajaran dengan cara dilakukan penambahan sarana pembelajaran, sistem pembelajaran, pengaturan tahapan pembelajaran, penetapan kitab-kitab untuk setiap tahapan, penambahan kitab-kitab non salaf (kitab kuning), dan lain­nya.

Abstract

This paper draws on the results of research on the Role of Education in Religious Counseling in the Community, which describes how education plays its role in religious counseling activities. The study was conducted in seven provinces, i.e. East Java, West Java, Central Java, North Sumatra, Bali, Central Kalimantan and East Nusa Tenggara. The data were collected by using questionnaires. The fi ndings show that religious counselors understand about the education role they must play in their counseling programs. The activities categorized as the role of education in counseling include religious sermons, regular recitation, group discussion, and individual consultations. The materials provided may vary according to the needs of the community. On the other hand, the obstacles during the performance of their education role include, among others, considered low benefi ts, inadequate means of transportation, short availability of textbooks, and lack of public enthusiasm in participating in the counseling.

Abstract

AbstractThis research is performed by the student at Grade XI of the Islamic State Senior High School of South Jakarta, in the odd semester for the academic year 2009-2010. The research sample is the student at grade XI at three Islamic State Senior High Schools in South Jakarta. A data collection is performed by a causal survey with lane analysis technique and using a relation test on causative with exploratory, i.e, track analysis. This research outcome explains that; 1) the students who are capable of (understanding or comprehending, rading letters with proper spelling in accordance with principles and able to interpret either in linguistic or psycholinguistic manner) reading Qur’an which is proven to acquire a satisfied score for the lesson of Moral Faith; 2) the students who have well-self concept (skill and capability) is proven to hoghly influence on the learning outcome of the Moral Faith; and 3) the students who are capable of reading the Qur’an well is proven to be highly influenced by a true self-concept of the students. AbstrakPenelitian ini dilakukan pada siswa kelas XI Madrasah Aliyah Negeri Jakarta Selatan, pada semester ganjil tahun ajaran 2009-2010. Sampel penelitian adalah siswa kelas XI di tiga Madrasah Aliyah Negeri di Jakarta Selatan. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan survei kausal dengan teknik analisis jalur dan menggunakan uji hubungan sebab akibat dengan eksploratori, yaitu analisis jalur. Hasil penelitian ini menjelaskan bahwa; 1) siswa yang mampu (mengerti ata memahami, melafalkan huruf-huruf dengan makhraj huruf yang sesuai dengan kaidah-kaidah dan dapat menginterpretasikan baik secara linguistik maupun psykolinguistik) membaca al-Qur’an terbukti memperoleh nilai yang memuaskan pada pelajaran Aqidah Akhlak; 2) siswa yang memiliki konsep diri matang (keteampilan dan kecakapan) terbukti sangat berpengaruh terhadap hasil belajar Aqidah Akhlak; dan 3) siswa yang mampu membaca al-Qur’an dengan baik terbukti sangat dipengaruhi oleh konsep diri siswa yang benar-benar matang.

Abstract

AbstractThis research aims at obtaining information on an illustration of library at STAIN Pare-Pare either management or utilization of its material and the illustration on relevancy of the material available for the human being needs. This research method adopts a qualitative approach. The research outcome shows: 1) library collection at STAIN relating to compulsory and recommended book whose titles are not covered yet, 2) suitability of the books provided for the student’s needs has been suitable with the needs of lecture material, 3) library services against user has been good enough, d) reading room has not been equipped by air conditioning, 4) limited visit time. AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk memperoleh informasi tentang gambaran perpustakaan STAIN Pare-Pare baik dari segi pengelolaan, maupun pemanfaatan bahan pustakanya, dan gambaran tentang kaitan antara koleksi bahan pustaka yang tersedia dengan kebutuhan mahasiswa. Metode penelitian ini menggunaakan pendekatan kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan: 1) koleksi perpustakaan STAIN terkait dengan buku wajib dan buku anjuran belum merata judulnya, 2) kesesuaian buku-buku yang tersedia bagi kebutuhan mahasiswa sudah sesuai dengan kebutuhan materi perkuliahn, 3) pelayanan perpustakaan terhadap pengguna sudah cukup baik, d) ruang baca belum dilengkapi dengan alat pendingin, 4) waktu kunjungan masih terbatas.

Abstract

Abstract This paper is the result of the author's research in 2019. The background of this study is the actual issue of the strategic patterns of parenting of students to be considered. The purpose of this study is to determine the pattern of parenting of students in the Darul Muttaqin boarding school in Bogor. Data and information obtained through this qualitative research are the result of the thoughts of caregivers, religious teachers, managers, experts and related officials as well as an analysis of parenting patterns of students in Darul Muttaqin Islamic boarding school in Bogor. From the results of this study several things are suggested, namely: Islamic boarding schools need to optimize the implementation of the guidance and supervision of students continuously so as to create a child-friendly boarding school; pesantren need to create awareness of students to obey, obey the rules and discipline that apply; boarding schools need to intensively establish cooperation between teachers, parents and related parties in overseeing the development of student learning and the existence in boarding schools; and people who entrust their children's education in pesantren should be able to trust and be more confident in the pesantren's parenting patterns.

Abstract

AbstractThe research aims to examine and find gaps and alternative solutions to problems, the implementation of the 5000 Doctoral Scholarship Program as a Strategic Program of the Indonesian Ministry of Religion. Therefore, the Center for Research and Education on Religion and Religion needs to evaluate the implementation of the program as the reason for not achieving 5,000 doctors, which is its strategic program. This type of research is evaluation research with a descriptive qualitative approach through an in-depth study of implementing the 5000 doctoral scholarship program at the PTIQ Jakarta Institute. Retrieval of data through interviews, observation, and documentation. The overall research results on the implementation of the scholarship program lectures have been carried out by following the procedures and stages, as stated in the MOU document between the Diktis and the PTIQ Jakarta Institute, both in terms of technical administration and management as well as technical academic implementation. From an administrative point of view, related to costs for students, it needs improvement or adjustment. Besides that, the course time limit is only three years, which becomes an obstacle for students in completing lectures so that graduate quality standards are not met. In academic terms, there is a gap between students from Java and outside Java. This is a result of the recruitment system, which refers to equal distribution/regional representation.AbstrakPenelitian bertujuan untuk mengkaji dan menemukan kesenjangan, serta alternatif pemecahan masalah, penyelenggaraan Program Beasiswa 5000 Doktor sebagai Program Strategis Kementerian Agama RI. Oleh karena itu Pusat Penelitian dan Pendidikan Agama dan Keagamaan perlu melakukan evaluasi pelaksanaan program tersebut sebagai penyebab belum tercapainya 5000 doktor yang merupakan program strategisnya. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian evaluasi dengan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif, melalui pendalaman tentang penyelenggaraan program beasiswa 5000 doktor di Institut PTIQ Jakarta. Pengambilan data melalui wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian secara keseluruhan penyelenggaraan perkuliahan program beasiswa tersebut telah dilaksanakan dengan mengikuti prosedur dan tahapan-tahapan sebagaimana tertuang dokumen MOU antara Diktis dan Institut PTIQ Jakarta, baik dalam hal teknis administrasi dan manajemen penyelenggaraan maupun teknis akademis penyelenggaraan. Dari segi administrasi, terkait dengan biaya bagi mahasiswa perlu perbaikan atau penyesuaian, selain itu juga batas waktu perkuliahan yang hanya tiga tahun, menjadi kendala mahasiswa dalam penyelesaian perkuliahan sehingga tidak terpenuhinya standar kualitas lulusan. Pada teknis akademis terjadi kesenjangan antara mahasiswa dari Pulau Jawa dan luar Pulau Jawa, hal tersebut akibat dari sistem rekrutmen yang mengacu pada pemerataan/keterwakilan daerah.
