Abstract

The execution of specific education for children with special requirement emerges in various form, among others is Specific School/ Sekolah Luar Biasa (SLB). In this institute they get special study service for all lessons areas that usually are given in school in general, for example natural sciences, social science, language, mathematics, artistic, and religion. All the lessons are taught to children having special requirement so that they can develop various potencies of his self (physical, intellectual, emotion, social). Specially for education of religion, it has been done research which the result of fore part by this readers. The research did with survey method in seven provinces that focuses at institute aspect, teachers, teaching-learning process, construction, and evaluation.

Abstract

AbstractEvery Indonesian citizen has a right get education service. There are some the governmental policies for the sake of realizing the citizen’s right for educational service. One of such policies, is the implementation of program dealing with the educational accessibility for all of Indonesian citizen. For this purpose, on behalf of realizing the education democracy, social justice, and other basic human values and also postering the competitive capability in the global market, the Indonesian government established one roof school system what we called as the Madrasah Satu Atap (MSA). In principle, this Islamic school system is based on the one system of management in carrying out the two educational unit (Primary Madrasah/MI and Secondary Madrasah/MTs). This article tries to elaborate what and how the MSA an alternative model school system being developed has a significant contribution in realizing the national education policy in Indonesia.

Abstract

One of the governmental policies for the madrasah quality improvement is providing programs called biaya operasional sekolah (BOS) and bantuan operasional manajemen mutu (BOMM). Both programs, basically, aim at improving the quality of education in madrasah at the basic education level (Madrasah ibtidaiyah and madrasah tsanawiyah). This study wants to describe how those programs be implemented. In a detail, the survey focuses on: (1) mechanism in carrying out program of BOS and BOMM, including how its socialization, distribution, utilization, and its accountability, (2) the effect of both programs towards the quality improvement of madrasahs, and (3)advisory treatments carried out by the government dealing with the implementation of BOSS and BOMM programs. The study highlights that the BOS and BOMM programs have contribute in improving the madrasahs performance which, in turn, help the quality improvement of madrasahs. Finally, the research recommended to the government to continue these programs in the future with any notes to be refined.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mencoba untuk mengebolarasi bagaimana pendidikan berbasis masyarakat dipraktekkan di pesantren al-Ittifaq, dengan focus pada: 1) kemandirian pesantren yang dijalankan, 2) model pendidikan apa yang dipraktekkan di pesantren, dan 3) pengaturan karakteristik pendidikan berbasi masyarakat dipraktekkan.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan menulis deskripsi melalui pendekatan saintifik dengan metode problem based learningpada siswa kelas IV SDN 3Selajambe Kecamatan Selajambe Kabupaten Kuningan. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas dengan  menggunakan model Kemmis dan Mc Taggart.  Penelitian tindakan ini diakhiri dalam dua siklus.Hal ini didasarkan berdasar hasil penelitian pada siklus ke II mengalami peningkatan yang sangat signifikan, disertai dengan telah tercapainya kriteria keberhasilan tindakan.Setiap siklus terdiri dari tahapan perencanaan, tindakan, observasi dan refleksi. Data dikumpulkan melalui tes kemampuan menulis karangan, dan dokumentasi. Hasil analisis data diperoleh bahwa aktivitas guru dan siswa meningkat setiap siklus. Rata–rata tes kemampuan menulis karangan pada pra tindakan  dengan nilai 65, siklus I dengan nilai 79 dan siklus II dengan nilai rata-rata 88. Persentase ketuntasan dari pra tindakan  sebesar 28% meningkat pada  siklus II  menjadi 100% tuntas dengan persentase peningkatan sebesar 72%.  Hasil penelitian membuktikan bahwa pendekatan saintifik dengan model problem based learningdapat meningkatkan keterampilan menulis deskripsi pada siswa kelas IV SDN 3 Selajambe.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas program  Gerakan Literasi Sekolah (GLS) yang dilaksanakan di SDN Rorotan 05 Jakarta Utara.Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian evaluative dengan menggunakan model CIPP (context, input, procces, product) yang dikembangkan oleh Stuffebeam.Sehingga efektivitas program GLS ditinjau dari konteks, masukan, proses dan hasilnya. Data diperoleh melalui wawancara, studi dokumen, observasi serta angket. Hasil penelitian tingkat ketercapaian program GLS disekolah tersebut sebesar 90,01% yang berada pada kategori A. Hal tersebut bermakna bahwa siswa telah melaksanakan program GLS dengan sangat baik yang sesuai dengan rencana dan harapan guru-guru. Rekomendasi untuk pemerintah sebaiknya memperbaiki regulasi pemerataan program GLS dan pihak sekolah supaya dapat mempertahankan serta meningkatkan program GLS di sekolah tersebut.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the relationship between job satisfaction and teacher’s organizational commitment of Elementary School in Kecamatan Duren Sawit. The method used is descriptive in the form of a survey. Samples were taken by using simple random sampling technique. Based on this technique, the sample size used in this study were 88 teachers from 760 teachers. Data collection for job satisfaction (X) and organizational commitment (Y) using a questionnaire. Data analysis techniques are used to test the hypothesis is to use a product moment correlation, with the prerequisite first tested the normality test, significance test and regression linearity. From the results of hypothesis testing to test the significance of the correlation is obtained that tcount > ttable as well as tcount = 3,121 and ttable = 1,988. Thus it can be said that the hypothesis can be accepted. This means that the null hypothesis (H0) is rejected. The results of this study it can be concluded that there is a positive relationship between job satisfaction with teacher’s organizational commitment of Elementary School in Kecamatan Duren Sawit.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menemukan masalah mendasar yang menyebabkan uji kompetensi guru rendah beradasarkan berpikir sistem (system thinking) sehingga masalah mendasar tersebut dapat menjadi daya ungkit dalam penyelesaian masalah rendahnya kompetensi mutu dan kompetensi guru di Aceh. Pendekatan Kualitatif digunakan dalam penelitian ini, subjek penelitian terdiri dari guru Sekolah Dasar di Banda Aceh yang dipilih secara random, kepala sekolah dan dinas pendidikan kota. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara, dan studi dokumentasi serta kajian literatur Neraca Pendidikan Daerah (NPD) dari tahun 2015 –2017, di hubungkan dengan beberapa hasil penelitian dan pernyataan tokoh-tokoh pendidikan serta pemerintah terkait masalah Uji Kompetensi Guru. Analisis dimulai dari data reduction, data display, dan conclusion drawing/verification, hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat tiga pilar dalam berpikir sistem sebagai daya ungkit dalam permasalahan rendahnya mutu dan kompetensi guru yaitu reinforcing berkaitan dengan peningkatan kapabilitas guru, balancing berkaitan dengan perubahan sistem proses rekruitmen guru, dan delaying berkaitan dengan politik dan politisasi pendidikan. Improving teacher competence based on system thinkingAbstractThis study aims to find a fundamental problem that causes low teacher competency test based on system thinking so that the fundamental problem can be a leverage in solving the problem of low-quality competency and teacher competency in Aceh. The Qualitative approach was used in this study, the research subjects consisted of randomly selected elementary school teachers in Banda Aceh, the head of the school and the city education office. Data were collected through interviews, and documentation studies as well as a literature review of the Regional Education Balance (NPD) from 2015-2017, linked to several research results and statements from education and government figures regarding the issue of Teacher Competency Test. The analysis starts from data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing/verification, the results of the study show that there are three pillars in system thinking as leverage in the problem of low quality and teacher competency, namely reinforcing with regard to increasing teacher capabilities, balancing in relation to changes in the recruitment system teacher, and delaying with regard to politics and the politicization of education.

Abstract

ABSTRACT: As the plural nation, the peace culture is something necessary to develop and to build for the sake of building local, national, regional, and global security. For this purpose, whatever religious tolerance programs are important, urgent, strategic, and determinative, particularly in the building of the peace culture needed to ccelerate the national developmental programmes. Consequently, from the socio-political perspective, surely the development program is systemicly determined by factors of how far the religious tolerance or the peace culture is successfully carried out. This article endevours to analytically describe of how far the urgency of religious tolerance on behalf of strengtening the peace culture in our country. In his analysis, it is virtually highlighted that the religious tolerance plays very important roles that might be regarded as precondition for the successful development and NKRI (Unified state of Republic of Indonesia) empowerment. For gaining its effectivity, cultivating religious tolerance culture become pivotel to be intensively implemented in our country. KEYWORDS: Religious tolerance, peace culture, security, development, informal (family) education.
