Abstract

The world development of the 21st century is marked by the progress and the demands of technologies, which may lead to regression. Life in the 21st century demands a person to master a range of skills. One of the important skills in the 21st century is critical thinking skill. This study focuses on the definition, importance, challenges in developing indicators and assessment of critical thinking skills. Critical thinking skill is the ability to think logically, reflectively, productively and systematically appeared in making consideration and making the best decision. Critical thinking skills are beneficial in improving the analysis skill, creativity, ability to make use of ideas or information, and looking for information skill as well as self-reflection. Learning can do the development of learners’ critical thinking skills. An important indicator in the critical thinking skills is interpreting which about an ability dealing with studying or analyzing, identifying the relevant or irrelevant sources, identifying and evaluating the assumptions, implementing various strategies to make the appropriate decisions, summarizing and regulating themselves.

Abstract

This research analyzes the information literacy skills of undergraduate students class PGSD UNS Kebumen in daily lectures activities. Information literacy is ability to find, evaluate and use the information effectively. This research was conducted in September 2018. This research use a quantitative approach, which using questionnaire for data collection. The questionnaire was made based on The Big 6 Information Literacy Models. The conclusion of this research is that students calss of PGSD UNS Kebumen already doing six steps of The Big 6 : they dicuss with other in doing works, they prefer use search engine in finding information rather than searching in library, they doing simple searching strategies in finding information and they understand in using citation.

Abstract

ABSTRAK : Pengaruh Intensitas Penggunaan Alat Peraga IPA Terhadap Hasil Belajar IPA Siswa SD Sekecamatan Adipala Tahun Ajaran 2017/ 2018. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: (1) membuktikan adanya perbedaan yang signifikan pengaruh intensitas penggunaan alat peraga IPA terhadap hasil belajar IPA dan (2) mengetahui intensitas manakah yang memberikan pengaruh lebih baik terhadap hasil belajar IPA. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan metode expost facto. Analisis data yang digunakan yaitu anava satu jalur. Uji lanjut yang digunakan adalah uji Scheffe. Hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa: (1) terbukti adanya perbedaan yang signifikan pengaruh intensitas penggunaan alat peraga terhadap hasil belajar IPA dan (2) intensitas penggunaan alat peraga secara sering memberikan pengaruh yang lebih baik terhadap hasil belajar IPA Siswa kelas V SD Se-Kecamatan Adipala tahun ajaran 2017/ 2018.Kata kunci: intensitas, alat peraga, hasil belajar IPA

Abstract

Thematic learning integrates competencies from subjects into themes, which are related to the experience and environment of students.The government requires the transfer of curriculum from KTSP to the 2013 curriculum in the hope of perfecting and overcoming weaknesses in the learning patterns in the previous curriculum. Thematic learning has been implemented in the Kebumen area, one of which is SD N 6 Panjer which has implemented thematic learning in grade I, II, IV, and V. This research want to describe the implementation of thematic learning in SD Negeri 6 Panjer. This research includes qualitative research. Data collection techniques using observation at SD N 6 Panjer. The results showed that the implementation of thematic learning in SD N 6 Panjer in grades I, II, IV, and V was not fully in accordance with the six thematic learning characteristics: 1) student-centered, 2) direct experinces, 3) the separation of subjects was not so clearly, 4) presents the concept of various contents, 5) is flexible, 6) uses the principle of learning while playing.

Abstract

Family education is a means of forming the most basic moral character of children. However, in the present era of gadget addiction in children is increased due to lack of attention and parental supervision as well as the failure of the elderly in his distortions. Causing the child to not control a good life pattern. The purpose of this study. To provide an expansion of knowledge and understanding for parents to be able to apply family education. The negative impact on the child one of them makes the child less sensitive to the homework, and addicted to playing gadgets because of the time they are utilizing by playing games. So it is necessary to expand the knowledge and understanding of family education in the hopes that parents can perform their role well through effective parenting patterns to form the values of good children's moral character

Abstract

Konten mata kuliah Media Pembelajaran di PGSD mengalami perkembangan terus menerus berdasarkan hasil-hasil riset pengembangan media pembelajaran. RBL dinilai relevan untuk di implementasikan pada perkuliahan Media Pembelajaran. Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan tentang karakteristik mata kuliah media pembelajaran PGSD dan implementasi RBL pada mata kuliah media pembelajaran di PGSD. Penelitian ini merupakan Classroom Research dilaksanakan pada pembelajaran mata kuliah Media Pembelajaran di Prodi PGSD Kebumen FKIP UNS dengan jumlah 106 mahasiswa. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini yaitu observasi dan wawancara. Analisis data meliputi; pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menggambarkan bahwa mata kuliah media pembelajaran bertujuan membekali mahasiswa PGSD dalam penggunaan dan pengembangan media pembelajaran di SD. RBL pada mata kuliah Media Pembelajaran dapat dilaksanakan dua siklus; 1) mahasiswa menganalisis media pembelajaran dan kebutuhan media pembelajaran, 2) mahasiswa mengembangkan media pembelajaran sesuai kebutuhan di SD

Abstract

Association of children in the era of technological development now is very free. For that, parents need to implement good communication patterns in children. The purpose of the articles of this is to determine the importance of a relationship as well as the implications for the pattern of communication the parents in the development of the personality of the child. The method of research that is used is qualitative methods using data collection techniques from library studies. The results of the article are discussed, namely, o rang parents in educating children should do approach to communication is based on the life of psychic children, because every child each has nature and character are different. Based on the discussion about the patterns of communication in the formation of the personality of the child can be concluded that the parents have a role large for the establishment and development of the personality of the child.

Abstract

Education in the family is the first education experienced by a child after being born in the world. The family is the main environment forming the character of children. In this 21st century, children are required to have good moral character. Parents should be able to transmit good etiquette to their children. The main task of parents is not only transferring knowledge, but also transferring values to children. The process of transferring knowledge carried out by parents will succeed if done with the right and right principles. Parents as good educators are able to accustom children to speak good, polite, and gentle words. One of them by way of habituating Javanese manners. The purpose of this study is to study 1) The custom of Javanese manners; 2) children's character in the 21st century; 3) Family education; 4) the formation of character in the family through the Javanese language of manners. The result of this goal is the habit of using polite language in a family environment which influences the character formation of children in the 21st century.

Abstract

Character is very important in an effort to reflect cultural values that are applied through a culture of positive habits in everyday life such as honesty, trust, tolerance and caring for fellow human beings in the community. The value of local wisdom is not a barrier to progress in the global era, but still maintains cultural values that have been embedded in the surrounding community. Therefore, fostering the values of local wisdom is a strategic step in the effort to build the character of the nation. This article proposes to discuss the cultivation of cultural values through a tolerance attitude based on local wisdom in the surrounding environment as a community character reinforcement being appropriate to the cultural values which are inspired by the film titled Tanda Tanya ???. The film describes the life that has been acculturated, then shows the assimilation and pluralism that exist in the lives of people in Indonesia. This film has educational purpose containing knowledge and learning that occur around the lives of diverse cultural communities.

Abstract

Dalam proses pembelajaran dikenal istilah model dan pendekatan yang memiliki kemiripan makna sehingga seringkali orang merasa bingung dalam membedakan kedua istilah tersebut. Berdasarkan berbagai referensi dari hasil penelitian yang telah dilakukan, terdapat beberapa pendapat yang memposisikan Sains Teknologi Masyarakat (STM) sebagai suatu model pembelajaran, tetapi tidak sedikit juga yang mengkategorikannya sebagai pendekatan pembelajaran. Tujuan dari penelitian ini ialah untuk menganalisis apakah karakteristik pembelajaran Sains Teknologi Masyarakat (STM) sudah dapat dikategorikan sebagai suatu model pembelajaran atau masih tergolong sebagai pendekatan pembelajaran. Penelitian ini adalah jenis penelitian kualitatif yang bersifat studi literatur (library research) yang menggunakan buku-buku dan literatur-literatur lainnya sebagai objek penelitian yang utama. Pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini dilakukan dengan mengumpulkan buku-buku dan jurnal-jurnal hasil penelitian sebelumnya yang masih terkait. Setelah semua data terkumpul, selanjutnya dilakukan pengkajian dan pembandingan data yang ditemukan secara sistematis. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah teknik analisis isi (content analysis) dengan pengutipan pendapat-pendapat yang sesuai. Dari hasil analisis data, diperoleh kesimpulan bahwa Sains Teknologi Masyarakat (STM) dapat dikategorikan sebagai suatu model pembelajaran. Hasil pengkajian ini diharapkan dapat digunakan oleh peneliti selanjutnya sebagai tambahan informasi pada penelitian dengan studi literatur mengenai model Sains Teknologi Masyarakat (STM).
