Abstract

Types of multimedia that are developed and known by all groups, namely photos, videos, images, moving to images can be inserted into audio and so forth. Piracy of information or data in the type of multimedia that is confidential is often revealed to the public and known to the public. Based on these problems, it is necessary to secure information in the form of images using Cryptography. Cryptography is knowledge or skill that observes and examines how to encrypt images that are in the owner's secret to remain safe and cannot be duplicated which is guaranteed and confidentiality is maintained. Based on these problems we need a base 64 algorithm that has an encryption process to be able to help secure an image or information that is confidential. DCT algorithm is able to liken an image or information with very strong security

Abstract

Islamic Shari'a (The word syara 'etymologically means "paths that can be traveled by water"), meaning that the path traveled by humans towards God. Sharia Islamiyyah is an Islamic law, or regulation, which regulates all aspects of the life of Muslims. In addition to containing laws, rules and guidelines for life, Islamic law also contains the key to solving all problems of human life both in the world and the hereafter. Many Islamic Sharia must be known to every Muslim because by studying Islamic Sharia a Muslim will know which obligations and rights as a servant of Allah SWT. In general, Muslims need fiqh books or fiqh books to help find law in Islam. But often Muslims do not bring books or books of jurisprudence, because books have a large size because there are so many discussions in them. The use of books or books is also considered to be long enough in the search for Islamic Sharia so that slowing Muslims in learning. The zhu-takaoka algorithm is a string matching algorithm that can search words with a lot of shifts, namely with an array of 2 (two) dimensions. The core process of searching for the zhu-takaoka algorithm is to search for words using the Right-to-left scan rule technique. Each shift in the word search process is determined by the shift values ??in the Good Suffix Shift Rule and Bad-Charcter Shift Rule tables. With this algorithm, it is expected to be able to facilitate the user in the process of searching for Islamic law

Abstract

Analisa adalah merupakan suatu proses merinci terhadap objek dengan alat bantu tertentu, kedalam beberapa komponen yang saling berhubungan dengan menilai dan mengetahui perbedaan dari kedua objek tersebut yang berbeda. Dalam proses pencarian ada beberapa algortima yang dibutuhkan untuk menyelesaikan masalah yang sedang dihadapi. Adapun permasalahannya yaitu dalam proses pencarian judul buku pada perpustakaan Perpustakaan STMIK Budidarma Medan dimana proses pencarian yang dilakukan masih membutuhkan waktu yang sangat lama. String matching adalah proses pencarian semua kemunculan query yang selanjutnya disebut pattern kedalam string yang lebih panjang (teks). Algortima adalah urutan atau langkah-langkah yang disusun secara sistematis untuk myelesaikan sebuah masalah. Adapun algortima yang digunakan dalam menyelesaiakan masalah tersebut yaitu Algortima boyer moore dan algortima knuth morris pratt (KMP). Algortima boyer moore adalah sebuah algortima pencarian yang dimana proses atau cara pencariannnya dilakukan dari kanan pattern sehingga hasil pecarian lebih cepat ditemukan. Algortima Knuth morris pratt (KMP) adalah sebuah algoritma pencarian string yang bekerja dengan memanfaatkan pergeseran pattern dalam teks dari sebeleh kiri kekanan dalam melakukan pencocokan pattern dalam teks. Analisa dalam perbandingan dari kedua algortima pada penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui algoritma yang mana proses pencarian dan cara kerjanya lebih cepat dengan memanfaatkan metode perbandingan eksponensial (MPE) sebagai metode pengambilan keputusan dalam menentukan hasil perbandingannya.

Abstract

Improved quality is required because often the image tested has poor quality, one of which is image enhancement using Retinex method where Retinex is a technique used to get a new image with better contrast than contrast from its original image.There are four main stages to be done To obtain a new image up to the process of displaying image statistics, ie the process of displaying the initial image in the window, improving the image contrast, displaying the image histogram and display the image statistics. Quality improvement is required because the image on the screenshot has poor quality, By improving image quality using Retinex method. This Retinex method is a method used to get a new image with better contrast than the contrast of its original image.

Abstract

The problems that occur in chef selection have been carried out by the Head of Chef and most likely not all criteria for lexis are made judged, sometimes only a few criteria are assessed. A good restaurant certainly needs to reconsider the chef who will be accepted according to predetermined criteria. The success of a restaurant business in the background of pengelolahan in it, including the selection of a good chef will encourage the success of the restaurant. In dealing with chef selection problems conducted by the Head of Chef, a decision support system can be developed in the face of chef acceptance selection problems, namely by using the Composite Performance Index method. The criteria that will be used as an assessment are the taste of cuisine, experience, speed, creativity, education, and cleanliness. Abstract

Data is important and has a very important role in the activities of computer use. In general, the size of data that is at this time has a very large size. So at the time of sending large data through the network would lead to waste in the use of network resources when the data is accessed by other users and make the storage media more efficient in storing the data. In this study used J-BIT compression algorithm to reduce the size of text files, thus reducing the file size on storage media.

Abstract

As one of the supporting facilities in the learning process in the library universities provides a very important service for educational learners. The functions of libraries are Storage, Education, Research, Information, and Cultural Recreation, as stipulated in Government Regulation number 24 of 2014. As a center of scientific information providers required by learners, libraries are required to provide accurate information quickly and efficiently. During this time at STMIK Budi Darma library in providing its service is still traditional. With an area of 96 square meters (m2) and filled with a total of 11,755 library collections will certainly require a lot of cabinets and shelves to accommodate the collection contained in the library. This will certainly greatly affect the library services in serving the demand of learners in accessing the information contained in the library. On the basis of this it is necessary to develop the traditional library system into a computer-based application that is able to provide library catalog information in digital form known as e-Resource. The e-Resource application of STMIK Budi Darma Library is expected to improve the service performance of the library in providing digital information online in the form of library catalogs stored digitally quickly, precisely and accurately.

Abstract

Follow said or speech act is to include a component of language and nonbahasa that describe the Acts language intact involving someone in the conversation for the delivery of the mandate. Batak is one of the tribes that are in the North sumatra province which has its own regional languages. Batak region has many languages spoken that have their own special meanings commonly used batak on each process festivities batak. In General, any person who has a marga batak in particular, will be required to perform its role in accordance with the roles have in attending ceremonies or else speak sapa with other families. Many said the word in the language area of the batak batak descent are sometimes obliged to remember it and sometimes there are that have yet to find out its meaning. It is an obvious problem for the people of batak especially for living in urban areas because of the technological developments that erode customs. The solution of these problems is by way of designing a media information in the form of the application is the meaning of the said in the batak are easily accessible and easily understood by the public. Word search techniques used in this research is the turbo algorithm boyer moore. The Turbo Boyer-Moore algorithm is an algorithm that was developed originally is Boyer-Moore Algorithm. Abstract

Postal code is an official marker element in a region in a country. The postal code was originally only used for the purpose of facilitating work at the post office to sort letters. The general public uses a lot of postal codes to do things like sending goods from one area to another through the post office service, shopping online through the official website, in that activity they are required to fill in the zip code of their destination address or shipping address. In the settlement the author uses the Zhu-Takaoka Algorithm, Zhu-Takaoka is a modified algorithm of the Boyer-Moore algorithm. Algorithm Zhu-Takaoka uses a two-dimensional array to calculate the value of the shift and do the matching from right to left. Abstract

Database Server applications are now widely used by institutions or institutions for various purposes. Most users detect the typing error manually so it is less effective. The problem that often occurs is writing or typing due to the sensitivity of the programming language. For example uppercase and lowercase letters, periods and commas, or other punctuation marks. Apart from these problems users of the MySQL application generally use tools to assist in database creation or in the manipulation process so that the Query structure of SQL is often forgotten. The Knuth-Morris Pratt algorithm is an algorithm used to perform string matching processes. This algorithm is an Exact String Matching Algorithm type which is matching strings correctly with the arrangement of characters in a matched string having the number or sequence of characters in the same string. The Knuth-Morris Pratt algorithm is part of the string search process that plays an important role in detecting errors faster and more efficiently. To find out the SQL typing error using the SQL command error detection application, the user first enters the SQL file containing the database structure. After that, the user also types in the SQL Query to be checked. Through this step, a comparison is made between the queries inputted by users with the SQL structure.
