Abstract

The conveyor system is a technology for transfer object to processing in industry from one place to another. The process in the industry such as quality control, packing product, assembly, etc. Conveyor technology is needed in the industrial process  automation.  The  application  of  conveyor  system  technology  in  the industry requires acquisition data and control, so that each process on the industrial conveyor can be monitored and even controlled from the control room. The one of technology for acqusition data and controling process of industry by centrally from the  control room is the technology of  HMI  (Human Machine Interface). The development of this HMI technology can be complement PLC- based conveyor system technology, making it more flexible and efficient by providing visualization and even control of industrial processes. In this research, Modeling of HMI using Citect SCADA has been conducted for Acquisition Data and Controlling Process of Conveyor Systems in Industry. The model of HMI designed and made using Vijeo Citect SCADA by adjusting the form of process conveyor models in the industry including input and output system. Based on the research that has been done, the results of HMI can work well, with a 100% success percentage. This shows that the addition of the HMI module to the system does not affect the performance of the conveyor system, but with the HMI feature it will be easier to control the process in the industry from the control room. Abstract

Attendance is the documentation of presence and activity in institution. A software has been made to monitor the attendance using face recognition. The software uses camera to capture the image and works on any background color. The aim of this paper is to calculate its performance with sensitivity, specificity, and accuracy using Eigenface Algorithm and Principal Component Analysis (PCA) method. Face recognition in this paper is based on Eigenface algorithm, using pixel information from images captured by webcam. The image is represented using PCA method. The software is tested using different expressions and accessories in object’s face. The performance of the software indicates 73.33%sensitivity, 52.17% specificity, and 86.67% accuracy. The successful rate in identifying the face for distance testing is 70%, while successful rate of 85% is achieved for object wearing eyeglasses and veil (jilbab). Furthermore, the successful rate for various expression is 85.33%.

Abstract

Presensi is a logging attendance, part of activity reporting an institution, or a component institution itself which contains the presence data compiled and arranged so that it is easy to search for and used when required at any time by the parties concerned. Computer application developed in the presensi system is a computer application that can recognize a person's face using only a webcam. Face recognition in this study using a webcam to capture an image of the room at any given time who later identified the existing faces. Some of the methods used in the research here is a method of the Dynamic Times Wrapping (DTW), Principal Component Analysis (PCA) and Gabor Wavelet. This system, used in testing with normal facial image expression. The success rate of the introduction with the normal expression of face image using DTW amounting to 80%, 100% and PCA Gabor wavelet 97%

Abstract

Memakai batik bukan hanya sebagai kelengkapan sandang dan fashion, namun juga memakai sebuah karya seni sehingga kita menjadi lebih bangga memakai karya warisan nenek moyang bangsa ini. Kita mengenal berbagai macam seperti batik Solo, Jogja, Pekalongan, dan Madura yang sudah cukup familiar pada masyarakat Indonesia. Namun dalam kenyataannya, sebenarnya masih banyak jenis batik yang ada di wilayah lain Indonesia yang kurang begitu dikenal padahal mempunyai potensi yang cukup baik dalam diversifikasi jenis batik di Indonesia, diantaranya adalah Batik Gumelem dari Banjarnegara Jawa Tengah. Namun sayangnya, Pemasaran Batik Gumelem ini memang belum seluas batik lainnya, masih sebatas untuk konsumsi masyarakat lokal. Selain itu, peralatan produksi pada UKM ini masih sangat sederhana jauh dari standard yang biasa digunakan oleh pengrajin batik biasanya serta kemasan dari batik sangat sederhana. Di lain pihak, hampir sebagian besar para ibu di desa tersebut mempunyai ketrampilan membatik yang sebenarnya bisa meningkatkan kesejahteraan hidup mereka. Pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk mengangkat derajat dari batik gumelem, menjadi suatu karya seni yang elegance dan mempunyai harga jual lebih mahal. Kegiatan yang sudah dilakukan dalam pengabdian ini adalah berupa Perbaikan manajemen pemasaran dengan berbasis pada teknologi informasi, Perbaikan sarana produksi batik dengan memperbaharui peralatan menjadi yang lebih baru dan memenuhi standard, serta perbaikan kemasan batik menjadi lebih exclusive dan elegance.
