Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan perangkat pembelajaran SETS yang layak, untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kreatif siswa dan mengetahui keefektifan perangkat pembelajaran SETS. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian dan pengembangan mengacu pendapat Borg & Gall. Desain pengembangan perangkat pembelajaran ini meliputi 9 langkah, yaitu (1) penelitian pendahuluan dan pengumpulan informasi; (2) perencanaan; (3) pengembangan draft produk; (4) uji coba awal; (5) merevisi hasil uji coba terbatas; (6) uji coba lapangan; (7) penyempurnaan produk hasil uji coba lapangan; (8) uji coba lapangan operasional; dan (9) penyempurnaan produk akhir. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa SD Negeri 3 Kotafajar. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perangkat pembelajaran layak digunakan menurut ahli materi dan ahli pembelajaran dengan kategori sangat baik. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diketahui, bahwa terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan terhadap kemampuan berpikir kreatif antara siswa yang mengikuti pembelajaran dengan perangkat pembelajaran SETS dan yang tidak menggunakan perangkat pembelajaran hasil pengembangan. Abstract

This study aims to (1) produce a SETS kit that is feasible to the understanding of concept and caring environmental of Elementary School (2) find out the effectiveness of the SETS kit to the understanding of concept and caring environmental. This study is a research and development refering to the opinion of Borg & Gall. The design of learning kits consists of ten steps, including (1) research and information collection; (2) planning; (3) developing preliminary form of draft product; (4) preliminary field testing; (5) main product revision; (6) main field testing; (7) operational product testing; (8) operational field testing; and (9) final product revision; (10) dissemination. Subjects were students of Elementary School 3 Kota Fajar. The results show that the learning kit is effective to understanding of concept and caring environmental of students according to the material expert and learning expert with excellent ratings category. Based on the result show that there are significant differences in understanding of concept and caring environmental of students who take the study with SETS  kits with those who do not use learning kits.

Abstract

This study aims to increase critical thinking skills of students with inquiry methods and to describe the implementation of an inquiry methods on science competence. This research is classroom action research, which consisted of three cycles. This study was conducted in Elementary School Pasi Pinang academic year 2017/2018. The objects were all students of class V consisting of 24 students.The data were collected using tests, The results show that the implementation of the inquiry methods can improve students critical thinking skills in science competencies.Keywords: Critical thinking skills, method inquiry

Abstract

This research is motivated by the low motivation of students in grade V SD Negeri Pasi Pinang. This study aimsto describe the effort to improve students' learning motivation through the use of inquiry methods and toincrease learning motivation through the use of inquiry method in science subjects. The type of this research isclassroom action research, the subject of this research is the students of class V SD Negeri Pasi Pinang whichamounted to 24 students. The object of this research is the improvement of students' learning motivation inscience subjects. The results showed that the use of inquiry method can improve the motivation of students ingrade V SD Negeri Pasi Pinang. This can be seen from the average score of students' learning motivation incycle I is 60.2%, in cycle II increases with score 70.5%, and cycle III increases with score 92.8%. based on theresults of these studies indicate that the student's learning motivation every cycle has increased after appliedinquiry method.

Abstract

This study aims to investigate the appropriateness and the effectiveness of student worksheet to improve elementary school students learning outcomes. This study employed the development model by Borg & Gall. The research procedure consisted of: (1) preliminary study, (2) planning, (3) developing preliminary form of product, (4) first revision, (5) preliminary field testing, (6) second revision, (7) main field testing, (8) final product revision, and (9) dissemination. The product testing subjects were students of grade V SD Gunong Kleng. The data were collected through tests. Pretestt-posttest questions and project assessment sheet were used to measure learning outcomes. The appropriateness of learning package was analyzed through four scales converted. The effectiveness of learning package was analyzed through gain score, and percentage of improvement. The result of the study was an student worksheet for the style of motion and energy topic which appropriates and could improve learning outcomes.

Abstract

This research was motivated by the low of motivation learning of class V students of Pasi Pinang elementary School academic year 2016/2017. This research was held to decribe the effort to improve motivation learning by using inquiry methods and improve learning motivation by using inquiry methods in science. The type of this research was class V students of Pasi Pinang Elementary School year academic 2016/2017 school year which had 24 students. The object of this research was the improvement of students’ motivation using inquiry methods in science subject. The results of this research showed that the use inquiry methods can improve students’ motivation learning in learning science subject in class V Pasi Pinang Elementary School academic year 2016/2017.

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to prove the improvement and effectiveness of video tutorial media as a result of development. The model in this study applied the research and development model of Borg & Gall. The procedure of this study included 9 steps, namely a) preliminary research and collecting initial information; b) planning; c) developing product drafts; d) conducting an initial trial; e) revising the results of limited trials; f) conducting field trials; g) making product improvements resulting from field trials; h) conducting operational field trials; and i) making improvements to the final product. Product testing was carried out on the fifth grade elementary school students in South Aceh. Data collection techniques used observation. The observation sheet was used to measure students’ process skills. The feasibility of the media was analyzed by score conversion using a scale of 5. Media effectiveness was analyzed by gain score, and t-test. The results of this study were video tutorial media products on style material that are feasible to apply to science learning on student process skills.

Abstract

Abstrak : Jenis penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) kolaboratif dengan subjek penelitian siswa kelas V MIS Lamgugob yang berjumlah 22 siswa. Penelitian ini berlangsung dalam dua siklus tindakan. Instrumen-instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian adalah tes dan angket.Indikator keberhasilan penelitian ini ditandai dengan meningkatnya hasil belajar siswa yaitu 88.18% dari jumlah siswa yang mengikuti proses belajar mengajar telah mencapai kategori tinggi. Sedangkan minat siswa menunjukkan sebesar 87.87% siswa berada pada kategori tinggi. Berdasarkan hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa peningkatan rata-rata skor hasil belajar siswa dari siklus I ke siklus II adalah 54.54 % dan diketahui bahwa peningkatan rata-rata skor minat belajar siswa dari siklus I ke siklus II adalah 25.6 %. Hasil penghitungan menunjukkan bahwa penerapan metode eksperimen pada materi sifat-sifat cahaya pada kelas V ada peningkatan.Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan metode eksperimen dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar dan minat belajar siswa pada materi sifat-sifat cahaya. Kata Kunci: Metode eksperimen, hasil belajar dan minat belajar
