Abstract

Peningkatan usaha laundry di Surabaya akan membuat semakin banyak limbah surfaktan yang dihasilkan dari pencucian oleh deterjen. Limbah deterjen tersebut akan masuk ke selokan, sungai hingga ke perairan yang lebih luas dan menyebabkan pencemaran pada badan air. Salah satu upaya penanggulangan bahaya adalah dengan proses biodegradasi. Biodegradasi adalah proses pemecahan cemaran organik oleh aktivitas mikroorganisme yang melibatkan serangkaian reaksi enzimatik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kemampuan kombinasi dari bakteri Pseudomonas putida dan Pseudomonas aeruginosa pada proses lumpur aktif untuk menurunkan kadar surfaktan Linear Alkil benzene Sulfonat (LAS) dan Biological Oxygen Demand (BOD) pada limbah cair usaha laundry. Proses lumpur aktif berlangsung secara kontinyu dalam reaktor bervolume 100 liter dan dengan variasi waktu kisaran dari 6 hingga 24 jam serta LAS dengan kisaran dari 168,93 mg/l hingga 28,5 mg/l dan variasi konsentrasi BOD dengan kisaran dari 600,22 mg/l hingga 109,18 mg/l. Dari hasil penelitian ini, penyisihan LAS maksimum mencapai 99,01% pada perlakuan konsentrasi LAS awal 168,93 mg/l dan waktu tinggal 24 jam serta penyisihan BOD maksimum mencapai 97,18 % pada perlakuan konsentrasi BOD awal 600,22 mg/l dan waktu tinggal 18 jam.  Kata kunci: Pseudomonas putida, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, surfaktan. DOI : https://doi.org/10.33005/envirotek.v9i2.1023

Abstract

The parking information System is designed to develop the current system that has been employed at BINA NUSANTARA University. Currently, the parking system is limited only recording the police number and they are still manually looking for the available parking area. The system implements a straight selection sorting data method, also known as the smallest number search method to determine the available parking location. The parking area will be automatically printed at a parking ticket, thus the driver could find it easily. This method also provides accurate data for building management about the available parking area and all data needed about the vehicles that parked at that area. This research is software based on web program using internet access.
