The aim of this study was to find a stable formula of the albumin gel isolated from white egg. Albumin was formulated into 3 different concentration: F1 (1%), F2 (2%), and F3 (3%). Evaluation of gel was conducted after pass out the stress condition using an accelerated storage in the climatic chamber, temperature 5°C to 35°C, 75% RH, for 12 hours, 10 cycles. Physical stability including organoleptic, homogeneity, pH, viscosity, spread ability, and adhesion ability were observed before and after storage. While, on effectiveness test use 3 volunteers (age> 30 years), not using any other cosmetics and not allergic to eggs. The gel was applied to the back of them left hand twice a day for 3 months and compared with that right hand (without using the gel). The results showed that all formula required a physically stable and F3 (3%) most effectivelly and significantly to incerease the skin moisture (p> 0.05). In conlusion, albumin isolated from white egg can be formulated into a gel as anti-aging.

The research about formulation emulgel of mulberry (Morus alba) ethanol extract with various concentrations of emulsifier span and tween 80® has been conducted. The purpose of this study was to determine the concentration of emulsifier (2, 3, 4, and 5%) which resulted stable formulation. Stability testing was performed under two conditions, before and after accelerated storage for 10 cycles with physical parameters include: organoleptic, homogeneity, dispersive power, adhesion, pH and viscosity. The results of showed that all parameters change after accelerated storage, but only F3 showed no significantly difference in before and after storage.

Telah dilakukan penelitian tentang formulasi granul mukoadhesif ekstrak etanol rimpang lakka-lakka (Curculigo orchioides  Gaertn.) dengan variasi konsentrasi polimer HPMC-Carbopol. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh variasi konsentrasi polimer HPMC-Carbopol terhadap evaluasi fisik granul mukoadhesif dan konsentrasi dari polimer HPMC-Carbopol yang menghasilkan granul mukoadhesif yang memenuhi karakteristik uji mukoadhesif. Penelitian ini memformulasikan granul mukoadhesif dengan polimer HPMC-Carbopol yaitu F1 (11.6% : 11.6%), F2 (7.7% : 15.5%), dan F3 (15.5 % : 7.7%). Pengujian dilakukan terhadap sifat fisik granul dan uji mukoadhesif granul pada usus sapi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa ketiga formula dengan variasi konsentrasi polimer HPMC-Carbopol dapat memenuhi syarat sifat fisik granul dan menghasilkan granul mukoadhesif yang memiliki kemampuan melekat lebih dari 2 jam.Kata kunci: Rimpang Lakka-Lakka (Curculigo orchioides Gaertn),mukoadhesif, polimer HPMC-Karbopol.

      Dry skin is defined to describe the loss or decrease in the moisture content of the stratum corneum (SC). Skin looks healthy if the outer layer contains 10% water. A research on the formulation and evaluation of tomato lyophilisate cream (Solanum lycopersicum L) has been done to improve moisture in the skin. The aim of this study is to know the physical stability of Tomato Fruit lyophilisate Cream formula (Solanum lycopersicum L) and to determine the concentration of tomato lyophilisate (Solanum lycorpersicum L) that is optimal for increasing moisture of the skin. Tomato lyophilisate had been conducted to formulate in  M / A type cream. Tomato lyophilisate cream was evaluated physic stability and effectiveness as a moisturizer using skin analyzer intrument with 9 panelist. The results show that the physical stability evaluation test obtained formula 1, 2, and 3 is a stable formula. The results of the humidity test showed a persent increase in humidity in F1 (tomato 1% lyophilicat) is 11%, F2 (tomato 3% lyophilicates) is 22%, and F3 (5% tomato lithium phytate) is 39%. The best formula for improving moisture is formula III with an increase of 39% with a concentration of  5% tomato lithophilicity cream. Keyword : Cream, Tomato (Solanum lycopersicum L),  Moisturizer.
