PENGARUH MODEL MAKE A MATCH TERHADAP PRESTASI BELAJAR IPS KELAS IV SD

Abstract

The problem in this research was about learning achievement of IPS that was still low and teacher had not implemented Make A Match Model in teaching and learning activities. The purpose of this research was to know the effect  of Make A Match models to the student learning achievements of IPS in IV grade of  SD Negeri 1 Bali Sadhar Utara. The method that used was quasi experimental with non equivalent control group design. The subjects of this research were 48 students that were divided into two classes. Class IVA as experiments class and class IVB as the control class. The main instruments used test. Data were analyzed by using t-test on the SPSS 15.0 for windows program. The results of the research and data analysis showed that the t value = 12,280 and t table = 2.013. It is proved that  t value  > t table (12,280> 2.013).Masalah dalam penelitian ini rendahnya prestasi belajar IPS serta guru belum menerapkan Model Make A Match dalam proses pembelajaran. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui Pengaruh Model Make A Match terhadap prestasi belajar IPS kelas IV SD Negeri 1 Bali Sadhar Utara. Metode penelitian ini adalah quasieksperimen dengan desain nonequivalent control group design. Subjek penelitian sebanyak 48 siswa yang terbagi atas 2 kelas. Kelas IVA sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas IVB sebagai kelas kontrol. Instrumen utama yang digunakan adalah tes. Data dianalisis menggunakan regresi berganda pada program SPSS seri 15.0 for windows. Hasil analisis data diperoleh simpulan bahwa ada pengaruh Model Make A Match terhadap prestasi belajar IPS kelas IV. Hal ini ditunjukkan dengan hasil analisis data nilai t hitung = 12,280 > nilai t tabel = 2,013. Kata kunci : IPS, model make a match, prestasi belajar
