Hubungan Disiplin Belajar Dengan Prestasi Belajar Ips Siswa Kelas V SD

Abstract

The problem that discussed in this study is the low learning achievement in social science subject and discipline of fifth grade elementary student. This study aimed to determine the relation between learning discipline and student learning achievement in social science subject of SD Negeri 1 Gunung Terang. The method that used in this study was correlational method. The population were all fifth graders. The samplw were 38 student that has been taken with total sampling. This study has independent variable and dependent variable; those were learning discipline and student learning achievement, respectively. The data were collected by observation, documentation, and questionnaire. The result of this study show that rcount is 0,774 > rtable is 0,320. It can be concluded that there is the positive and tight relation between learning achievement and student learning achievement in social science subject.Masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah rendahnya prestasi belajar IPS dan disiplin belajar siswa kelas V SD. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara disiplin belajar dengan prestasi belajar IPS pada siswa kelas V SD Negeri 1 Gunung Terang. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode korelasional. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas V. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan total sampling, sebanyak 38 siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah observasi, dokumentasi, dan angket. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan yaitu analisis korelasi dengan rumus korelasi product moment. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan yang positif dan kuat antara disiplin belajar dengan prestasi IPS siswa.Kata kunci : disiplin, IPS, prestasi belajar
