Now (since 2017) it governed in associated and corporated to Religious Researchers Association. And since 2009 it had been accredited by Indonesian Science Institution. Nowadays are about to prepare for becoming International Journal reputation that would be indexed at global high ranked index. As the scientific reading material publication, the EDUKASI aimed to provide readers with a better comprehensive understanding of Religious Educational Studies in Indonesia, and even around Asia countries and the world. We invited all researchers, lecturers, teachers, and whoever interested and have a manuscript of religious education to send off what you have been researched and reported to be published in EDUKASI. The articles should be original, unpublished and not under review for possible publication in any other journals. All submitted manuscripts will be blindly-reviewed by qualified academics in the field. This process may take several weeks or months.

Abstract

AbstractThis article discusses the phenomenon of the development of intolerance in religion, especially that afflicting young people. This study aims to seek input for the development of family-based moderation education. This study used qualitative research, with a case study approach to the incidence of attacks by young people on a priest delivering a sermon at the St. Joseph Church in Medan. This study concludes that children's acts of religious violence are motivated by the teachings of radicalism read on the internet. This research recommends that it is time for agitative religious lectures, hate speech, cyber-net terrorism to be intervened by the state through relevant regulations and supervision. Also, parents need to increase awareness of the negative impact of technology and build more togetherness by developing moderate religious values in the family. AbstrakArtikel ini membahas tentang fenomena perkembangan paham intoleransi dalam beragama, khususnya yang menimpa anak muda. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mencari masukan pengembangan  pendidikan moderasi berbasis keluarga. Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian kualitatif, dengan pendekatan studi kasus pada kejadian penyerangan oleh anak muda pada pastor yang sedang menyampaikan khutbah di Gereja Santo Joseph Medan. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa tindakan kekerasan agama oleh anak-anak dimotivasi oleh ajaran radikalisme yang dibaca di internet. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan bahwa sudah saatnya ceramah keagamaan sepihak, pidato kebencian, terorisme melalui cyber-net perlu diintervensi oleh negara melalui regulasi dan pengawasan yang relevan. Selain itu, orang tua perlu meningkatkan kewaspadaan dampak negatif teknologi dan membangun lebih banyak kebersamaan dengan mengembangkan nilai-nilai agama yang moderat dalam keluarga.

Abstract

AbstractThe purpose of this study was to determine the role of spirituality in teacher performance seen from the organizational commitment of Muhammadiyah Middle School teachers in Magelang Regency. This research is a quantitative study that is correlational, namely research that is asking the relationship between two or more variables. The population in this study were all Muhammadiyah Middle School teachers in Magelang Regency with 370 teachers, while the total sample in this study was 185 teachers. To conduct data analysis in this study, then: (1) analysis techniques with descriptive statistics; (2) technical analysis of multiple regression; and (3) path analysis techniques. Based on the results of research and discussions that have been conducted, the results of this study are (1) Spirituality has a very significant role in influencing teacher performance through organizational commitment, Muhammadiyah Middle School teachers in Magelang Regency; (2) Spirituality directly affect teacher performance, although not as much as if it is through organizational commitment variables; and (3) Teachers who have high spirituality will have good performance because they have high organizational commitment. AbstrakTujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui peran spiritualitas dalam kinerja guru dilihat dari komitmen organisasi pada guru SMP Muhammadiyah di Kabupaten Magelang. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif yang bersifat korelasional, yaitu penelitian yang bersifat menanyakan hubungan antara dua atau lebih variabel. Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah seluruh guru SMP Muhammadiyah di Kabupaten Magelang yang berjumlah 370 guru, sedang jumlah sampel dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 185 guru. Untuk melakukan analisis data pada penelitian ini, maka digunakan (1) teknik analisis dengan statistik deskriptif; (2) teknis analisis regresi ganda; dan (3) teknik analisis jalur (path analysis). Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dan pembahasan yang telah dilakukan, maka hasil penelitian ini, yaitu (1) Spiritualitas mempunyai peran sangat signifikan dalam mempengaruhi kinerja guru melalui komitmen organisasi, guru SMP Muhammadiyah di Kabupaten Magelang; (2) Spiritualitas secara langsung mempengaruhi kinerja guru meskipun tidak sebesar jika melalui variabel komitmen organisasi; dan (3) Guru yang memiliki spiritualitas yang tinggi akan memiliki kinerja yang bagus karena memiliki komitmen organisasi yang tinggi.

Abstract

AbstractThis study aimed to find out the influence level of subject teachers’ training and education for the improvement of madrasah teacher’s performance in Gorontalo. This study used a survey and quantitative research method. The result of this research showed that training and education implementation had influenced the madrasa teacher’s performance in Gorontalo. There was an increase in madrasa teacher's four competencies after they joined the training, which are pedagogical competence, personality competence, professional competence, and social competence. Respondents said that the trainers (widyaiswara) could explain the material substance well (score 4.4). The trainers have much understood and competent in the training aims and procedures. So, the academic qualification of the trainers is appropriating with their primary tasks by involving qualified and professional instructors. Nevertheless, some trainers were not mastering in presenting training material. Furthermore, the training materials are considering inadequate for the training participants. AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tingkat pengaruh pendidikan dan pelatihan mata pelajaran terhadap peningkatan kinerja guru madrasah di Kota Gorontalo. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah survei dan metode kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pelaksanaan pendidikan dan pelatihan terhadap guru madrasah di Kota Gorontalo, memiliki pengaruh terhadap kinerja guru. Pengaruh tersebut adalah guru memiliki peningkatan dalam kompetensi pedagogik, kompetensi kepribadian, kompetensi profesional, dan kompetensi sosial setelah mengikuti kediklatan. Responden menjelaskan bahwa widyaiswara mampu menyampaikan materi dengan baik dengan skor 4,4. Widyaiswara cukup memahami dan menguasai tujuan dan prosedur penyelenggaraan diklat sehingga kualifikasi akademik widyaiswara sesuai dengan tugas pokoknya dengan melibatkan instruktur yang kompeten dan profesional. Namun demikian, masih terdapat beberapa Widyaiswara dalam pelaksanaan diklat dianggap masih kurang memadai dalam membawakan materi. Selain itu, ketersediaan bahan ajar bagi peserta diklat dianggap masih kurang memadai.

Abstract

AbstractThis article aims to explain the case of female college students who use the veil in the college campus area, and deal with the prohibition of the college leadership. The study uses qualitative methods, conducted in 2018 at several state Islamic universities (UIN) in the regions of Java, Sumatra, Kalimantan and Sulawesi. The data source comes from observations and interviews with female veil users. Data collection uses in-depth interview techniques, and snow-ball. Triangulation is carried out to strengthen the validity of the data and information obtained. Analysis of data and facts in the field was developed based on the theory of chastity structure developed from the structure of feeling structure (structure of feeling). The results showed that the female student's veil dressing behavior was driven by a changing spirit or moving to be or feel holy. They cannot compromise with campus rules, because they cannot separate private and public spaces. They have a unique logic of space, which is all space as a place of sharia enforcement. AbstrakArtikel ini bertujuan untuk menjelaskan kasus mahasiswi yang menggunakan cadar di wilayah kampus perguruan tinggi, dan berhadapan dengan larangan Pimpinan perguruan tinggi tersebut. Penelitian menggunakan metode kualitatif, dilakukan pada tahun 2018 pada beberapa Universitas Islam Negeri (UIN) di wilayah Jawa, Sumatera, Kalimantan dan Sulawesi. Sumber data berasal dari observasi dan wawancara pada mahasiswi pengguna cadar. Pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik wawancara mendalam, dan snow-ball. Triangulasi dilakukan untuk memperkuat keabsahan data dan informasi yang diperoleh. Analisa terhadap data dan fakta di lapangan dikembangkan berdasarkan teori struktur kesucian yang dikembangkan dari teori struktur perasaan (structure of feeling). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perilaku berpakaian cadar mahasiswi didorong oleh semangat berubah atau hijrah untuk menjadi atau merasa suci. Mereka tidak dapat berkompromi dengan aturan kampus, karena tidak dapat memilah antara ruang privat dan ruang publik. Mereka memiliki logika ruang yang unik, yakni semua ruang sebagai tempat penegakan syariah.

Abstract

AbstractThis study was conducted in Vietnam by focusing on religious and religious education institutions. Vietnam, as a socialist country, its population does not convert to Islam by only 0.1%. From these small Muslim converts, Vietnam has madrasah and boarding schools of religious and religious education. Madrasah Al Nur is located in Ho Chi Minh city while Darussalam district is located in Tay Ninh province about 200 Km from Ho Chi Minh City. Madrasah Al Nur organizes learning with the classical system located at Jamiul Anwar mosque. Each class is divided by age group, not age. Learners sit on the floor, each using a small and short table. Learning materials include faith-morals, jurisprudence, Date, Language: Arabic, English and art of reading the Koran, for Darussalam boarding schools, using classical systems such as formal schools. The learning material covers tahfiz, fiqh, aqeedah, discussion Malay and Arabic. The government has recognized both the madrassas and the boarding schools, but the degree has not been, in the sense of not being able to continue to higher education levels only with the degree of madrasah and boarding schools. AbstrakPenelitian ini dilakukan di Vietnam dengan memfokuskan pada lembaga pendidikan agama dan keagamaan. Vietnam sebagai negara sosialis, penduduknya tidak banyak yang memeluk Islam hanya sekitar 0,1%. Dari pemeluk Islam yang kecil tersebut, Vietnam memiliki lembaga pendidikan agama dan keagamaan berbentuk madrasah dan pesantren. Madrasah Al Nur terletak di kota Ho Chi Minh sedangkan pesantren Darussalam terletak di provinsi Tay Ninh sekitar 200 Km dari Ho Chi Minh. Madrasah Al Nur menyelenggarakan pembelajaran dengan sistem klasikal yang bertempat di masjid Jamiul Anwar. Masing-masing kelas dibagi berdasarkan kelompok keilmuan, bukan berdasarkan umur. Peserta didik duduk di lantai, masing-masing menggunakan meja kecil dan pendek. Materi pembelajaran meliputi aqidah-akhlak, fiqh, tarikh, Bahasan Arab, Bahasa Melayu dan seni baca Alquran. Untuk pesantren Darussalam, menggunakan sistem klasikal seperti sekolah formal. Materi pembelajarannya meliputi tahfiz, fiqh, aqidah, Bahasan Melayu dan Bahasa Arab. Keduanya madrasah dan pesantren secara kelembagaan sudah diakui oleh pemerintah tetapi ijazahnya belum, dalam arti tidak bisa melanjutkan ke jenjang pendidikan yang lebih tinggi jika hanya berbekal ijazah madrasah dan pesantren.

Abstract

AbstractThe purpose of this study was to examine the curriculum application that integrated between the written curriculum and the hidden curriculum at SD Al-Muttaqin Tasikmalaya. This is qualitative research with a study case approach. The data were collected by interviewing, observing, and analyzing documents conducted at al-Muttaqin elementary school in Tasikmalaya. Secondary sources found out from the books, journals, articles and other scientific works. Based on the research findings, the results of this study indicate that were: (1) the school was giving low attention to the hidden curriculum in PAI?s learning whereas the hidden curriculum had a significant effect on the success of PAI?s learning. (2) PAI?s learning which combines between the written curriculum and the hidden curriculum will produce more applicable and contextual learnings. The findings of this study indicate that was SD al Muttaqin as a private Islamic school has implemented the curriculum that combines between the written curriculum and the hidden curriculum has been implemented well, and it is was producing active learning. This is proven from the achievements of the PAI that always being superior to another school in the city of Tasikmalaya.AbstrakArtikel ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji penerapan kurikulumm yang mengintegrasikan antara kurikulum tertulis (written curriculum) dan kurikulum tersembunyi (hidden curriculum) di SD al-Muttaqin Tasikmalaya. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus. Sumber data diperoleh dengan cara wawancara, observasi, dan analisis dokumen yang dilakukan pada sekolah dasar al-Muttaqin di Tasikmalaya. Sumber sekunder berupa buku-buku, jurnal, artikel serta karya ilmiah lainnya. Temuan penelitian ini menunjukkan, pertama sekolah kurang memperhatikan hidden kurikulum dalam pembelajaran PAI padahal hidden kurikulum sangat besar pengaruhnya terhadap keberhasilan pembelajaran PAI. Kedua, pembelajaran PAI yang memadukan antara kurikulum tertulis dan kurikulum tersembunyi akan menghasilkan pembelajaran yang lebih aplikatif dan kontekstual. Temuan penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa SD al Muttaqin sebagai sekolah swasta Islam telah menerapkan kurikulum yang memadukan antara tertulis (written curriculum) dan kurikulum tersembunyi (hidden curriculum) dengan baik, sehingga menghasilkan pembelajaran yang efektif. Hal tersebut terbukti dari prestasi bidang PAI selalau unggul dibanding dengan sekolah lain yang ada di kota Tasikmalaya.

Abstract

AbstractThe purpose of this study was to find out the effectiveness of substantive technical training implementation in improving the improvement of teacher performance and the continuous professional development that held in Bandung Religious Training Center on the year of 2017−2018 by using Kirkpatrick model. This research uses a mixed-methods with concurrent embedded types with a descriptive approach with 330 populations and 77 persons for the sample. The results for first level (reaction level) that the participants’ reaction towards training organizer has shown an average satisfaction index of 82.12 (good). The Reaction of participants to widyaiswara was 82.8 (good) on average. At level 2 (learning level), The result of knowledge aspect’s for t-test on pretest and posttest data correlated 0.34 with a significance level 0.003. It’s was indicates that education and training have been succeeded to increase the training participants’ knowledge. In the skill aspect, the average rating’s product was 91.66 (very good). The average score of the attitude aspect was 88.6 (good). For the evaluation at level 3 (behaviour level), the average score of 61.96% (47 graduated from training had shown that the training results were quite satisfying). From triangulation results of Post-Training Evaluation (EPD), the graduated from training gave positive manner statements for generally. Different from colleagues and superiors who gave negative statements. Evaluation at stage 4 (result level) demonstrated that the average percentage of t-score 63.64% or about 49 graduated had stated that they were able to obtain credit numbers according to the demand. AbstrakTujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui efektivitas penyelenggaraan diklat teknis substantif peningkatan kompetensi Peningkatan Kinerja Guru dan Pengembangan Keprofesionalan Berkelanjutan yang diselenggarakan di Balai Diklat Keagamaan Bandung tahun 2017−2018 menggunakan model Kirkpatrick. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kombinasi (mixed methodes) tipe concurreent embedded dengan pendekatan deskriptif dengan jumlah populasi 330 serta sampel 77 orang. Hasil penelitian pada level 1 (reaction level), reaksi peserta terhadap penyelenggara diklat memiliki indeks kepuasan rata-rata sebesar 82,12 (baik). reaksi peserta terhadap widyaiswara rata-rata sebesar 82,80 (baik).  Pada level 2 (Learning level), evaluasi pada aspek pengetahuan hasil uji-t pada data pretest dan posttest memiliki korelasi 0,34 dengan taraf signifikansi 0,003, menunjukkan bahwa diklat berhasil meningkatkan pengetahuan peserta diklat. Pada aspek keterampilan rata-rata penilaian produk sebesar 91,66 (sangat baik). Pada aspek sikap skor rata-rata sebesar 88,6 pada (baik). Evaluasi pada level 3 (behavior level), rata-rata skor t sebesar 61,96% (47 orang alumni diklat menyatakan hasil diklat memiliki pengaruh yang baik). Dari hasil triangulasi Evaluasi Pasca Diklat, alumni diklat secara umum memberikan pernyataan positif, sedangkan rekan sejawat, dan atasan secara umum memberikan pernyataan negatif. Evaluasi pada tahap 4 – level hasil (result level), hasil evaluasi menunjukkan prosentase rata-rata skor-t sebesar 63,64 % atau 49 orang alumni menyatakan dapat memperoleh angka kredit.
