Abstract

Collaboration between individuals or groups is also commonly referred to as mutual cooperation is a characteristic and culture of the Indonesian nation that is driven by the awareness that we are social beings. Mutual cooperation can be in the form of providing useful information for others. This information can be in the form of a report that is processed into data and displayed on the website. Information about the security of a crime-prone location is the main topic of our research. This study designed a website that collects information about crime-prone areas in a mutual cooperation or crowdsourcing and displays the data on a map-based website. Users can share information on crime-prone areas with location-based systems on the map. Data from user information will be accumulated and displayed on the map of a website. This data is visualized using a color circle. The darker colors indicate that the crime rate of the location is high. The system on the proposed website is very useful for users who travel to unknown areas.

Abstract

This research focuses on the energy efficiency needed by sensor nodes in the network architecture i.e, LEACH, HEED, LEACH-TLCH and PEGASIS according to the Routing Protocol Low Power and Lossy Network (RPL) pattern. In this research compared all algorithms based on the number of different sensor nodes. In this research, there is no focus on the type of sensor used but rests on the conclusions of the total results of the Overall energy (Avg_Energy) on clustering with the most appropriate networking strategy. In this research, 20, 50 and 100 nodes were tested in the HEED, LEACH, LEACH-TLCH and PEGASIS Algorithms respectively. furthermore, from the results of testing the total Power (mW) sensor obtained from the sum of 4 components of the Power Sensor node, i.e, CPU Power, Power LPM, Power TX (Transmitter) and Power Rx (Receiver), concludes the Power Consumption sensor node is affected by the number of nodes found on the Sensor Node Network Architecture, the lowest Power Consumption is the LEACH Algorithm Protocol with a total of 2,038 mW at 100 nodes, while the highest Power Consumption is LEACH-TLCH Protocol Algorithm 4,851 mW with 100 nodes followed by PEGASIS with total Consumption 4.31 mW. accordingly the simulation, At the lowest sensor node in this experiment, which is 20 nodes, LEACH produces the lowest total Power of 1.21 mW, while the highest is PEGASIS 1,361 mW. At the number of 50 nodes, the lowest is HEED with a power consumption of 1,558 mW, this result is only 0.046 mW with the LEACH Algorithm Protocol which is 1,604 mW. Furthermore, by building the right sensor network (WSN) it will support IoT networks with long sensor lifetime.

Abstract

As technology develops in today?s age, there are many radio equipment easily found in the market. Certainly, there is a stereo decoder module inside a FM radio receiver which operates to return radio signal that previously was modulated and broken apart into stereo audio signal (L+R) and (L-R). There are many stereo decoders already presented inside FM radio receivers. Based on this premise, there is a problem that can be studied, which is how to design a decoder stereo in a stereo FM radio receiver that functions as the demodulation in stereo FM radio and operates to release L+R audio signal to a receiver radio. Therefore, it needs a signal demodulatorof encoder stereo that converts L and R audio signal. Based on the testing result, it showed that sideband frequency from the result of DSB-SC demodulator process, which was produced through R and L channels, still had frequency value differences with average percentage of 1.416% out of the expected frequency value. This was due to the frequency oscillator from the generator function.

Abstract

Indonesia Thematic Robot Contest (Kontes Robot Tematik Indonesia (KRTMI)) is one of division in Indonesia Robot Contest (Kontes Robot Indonesia (KRI)) which tailor to the nation necessity that is demanding to be resolved. In this KRTMI division robot contest, the robot, that was able to be controlled by a remote wirelessly, was designed in order to perform paddy planting simulation, pluck grasses among paddies, and harvest paddy. In this robot contest, the robot was also designed to be able to pass through mushy soil while planting paddy and plucking grasses. From the robot concept that is based on the rules, the robot used primary driving force with two DC gearbox motor which was paired with rubber track type wheels to be able to pass through mushy soil. While for performing paddy planting and grass plucking, a combination of DC gearbox motor and pneumatic was applied. The entire operation of the robot was controlled with wireless joystick command by a robot operator. The result of this research could be tested for its motor driver response efficiency and relay on-off control for the pneumatic which was controlled wirelessly through a joystick. The testing results were efficiency of 99% and control response success of 100%.

Abstract

This paper presents the prediction system of wind speed and direction using a feed-forward backpropagation neural network (FFBPNN).  The input of the prediction system is wind speed and direction which are numerical data and provided by Automated Meteorological Data Acquisition System (AMeDAS) in Japan. The performances of the proposed system is evaluated based on mean square error (MSE) between predicted and observed data. In this paper, we substantiate the usefulness of the proposed prediction system improving prediction accuracy compared to four prediction models.

Abstract

Abstract - Training is a necessity to achieve a level of professionalism in carrying out the main tasks of the Indonesian National Army (TNI) to safeguard the Sovereign State of the Republic of Indonesia (NKRI). With the development of technology, the flow of information that is well ordered, fast and interconnected is very important in a command control function that is packaged into a battle management. This study aims to create a system that can provide information support to the Unit Commander in giving command instructions to his troops. The information includes coordinates, altitude, balance, speed and compass, and is integrated with LCO (Lambert Conical Orthomophic) Map which can be integrated into Google Satellites so that tracking and monitoring of troops will be easier. Based on the results of tests that have been carried out it can be analyzed that the value of the error presentation of the actual measurements with measurements on the program is not too large. The comparison obtained is less than 2% so that by using the system it is expected that each unit can operate optimally and efficiently.   Keywords - GPS, Compass Sensor, Balance Sensor, and Map.

Abstract

Abstract?The occurrence of fault in electrical power system operation is inevitable. The causes of fault in electrical power transmission and distribution system for instances are lighting strikes on transmission canal, tree collapses, or short circuit inter-phases to the ground. In order to protect the equipment and the whole electrical system in Sengkaling Substation and to reduce the short circuit fault current quickly within timeframe of ½ cycle, it requires Superconducting Fault Current Limiter (SFCL) which is going to be placed on the bus that comes close to a critical point. The designing and analysis on the system of before and after hybrid SCFL installment utilize PSCAD software. The simulation result obtained by installing hybrid SFCL in incoming bus 2 (20 kV) was that hybrid SFCL was able to reduce short circuit fault current in ½ initial cycle with L-G fault of 16.77 kA changed to 5.9 kA, L-L-G fault of 35.38 kA changed to 9.15 kA, L-L-L-G fault of 38.36 kA changed to 9.8 kA, and L-L fault of 28.89 kA changed to 4.35 kA. The average percentage of short circuit fault current that was reduced by hybrid SFCL was 74.12%. Index Terms?SFCL, Short Circuit Current, Hybrid SFCL.

Abstract

Fuzzy logic is a scientific branch of Artificial Intelligence that was developed and applied to machines to be able to approach human intelligence. In order this machine or tool to be able to execute commands in a "more humane" manner, this AI uses a rule base as a reference for movement which then goes into the defuzzyication process. To apply the fuzzy logic rule base on the drone movement automatically, an error value is taken at tetta (?) which was previously processed by the Odometery Method by taking the position value of the drone with GPS. In addition, the drone is also monitored through Android in real-time so that the user can see the position and set the goals of the drone. In order for the processor and realtime process to run optimally, the drone will use Arduino Mega as a processor, control center, and read input from each sensor related to the drone before entering FireBase (Cloud Data Base). Control of the stability of the drone system in the air is obtained by processing GPS sensors with the fuzzy logic method with an error at reading of coordinate is 0,4 meter from line distance that is given and response acceleration of fuzzy to reset the drone back to the distance of 4 m/s.

Abstract

This axial flux permanent magnet generator was designed in low speed multi-disc using two stator discs and three rotor discs, wherein each rotor disc contained ten poles of Neodynium type permanent magnet and each stator had ten coils, in order to be able to produce 600 rpm generator rotation. The voltage prepared in each stator phase output would later be connected in series or parallel circuit for testing. This generator was tested with variations of air gap between different rotors and stators. There were four variations of air gap which were 2 mm, 3 mm, 4 mm, and 5 mm and each of them were connected to stator circuit in series. The test results with an air gap of 2 mm generated voltage of 59 Volt AC, an air gap of 3 mm generated a voltage of 53.7 Volt AC, an air gap of 4 mm generated a voltage of 49.6 Volt AC, an air gap of 5 mm generated a voltage of 48.5 Volt AC. Based on the test results, it can be concluded that the gap of the air gap was inversely proportional to the output voltage, the greater the value of the air gap that was applied, the smaller the voltage generator output was generated.

Abstract

Tsunamis are one of the most unforeseen natural disasters, factors or signs of a tsunami occurring among others is the sudden reflux of seawater which is due to the broken plate of the underlying sea floor receding water, the plate fault is caused by seismic ground-based earthquakes, areas ever experienced a previous fault is likely to occur in the same quake place this is because the slabs can not coalesce or return like the original. for it needed a prototype system that can detecting the early detection of a tsunami that could cost many lives. The prototype system created is equipped with a fibration sensor to detect vibration and Ultrasonic sensors to detect distances, after of some varible detected then the data will be transmitted remotely via SIM900A as GSM / GPRS ModuleDOI : https://doi.org/10.26905/jeemecs.v1i1.1982
