Abstract

Sufism as the core of Islamic teachings emerged by providing solutions and therapies for human problems by bringing closer to Allah the Creator. However, Sufism has been perceived as an inner practice that detaches itself from the world. However, lately, there is an understanding of Sufism which does not make its practitioners withdraw from the environment and instead requires its practitioners to go down to the community and contribute to solving problems faced by their communities. Sufism is known as "Positive Sufism" or neo-Sufism. Positive Sufism is a turning point of conservative Sufism. If conservative Sufism suggests that Sufism surges, then positive Sufism gives the impression that Sufism must be grounded. It must appear in all social life, and also contribute to solving world problems. This includes issues regarding leadership. The study method used is qualitative, the method of presenting the data is descriptive analysis, and it is designed with a library approach that explores some of the literature relating to the discussion of leadership concepts of modern positive Sufism perspectives. Therefore reviewing the concept of leadership and the criteria of a leader in the realm of Sufism is an alternative that can be done. So that it is expected to give an alternative picture like a leader who wants to run the wheel of his leadership based on Sufi souls, a Sufism expert

artikel dengan judul Managing Learning for Quality Improvement of Islamic Education telah di lakukan pencabutan dari vo. 2 no. 2 tahun 2018 Jurnal Evaluasi, pada tautan daring http://e-journal.staima-alhikam.ac.id/index.php/evaluasi/article/view/169. karena ditemukan sudah terbit pada jurnal an-nuha vol2.no.2 tahun 2015. pada tautan daring http://ejournal.staimadiun.ac.id/index.php/annuha/article/view/47Isi artikel yang dibuat atas nama ibu Siti Mutholingah ini sebenarnya asli dan murni dibuat oleh yang bersangkutan, namun ada pihak yang tidak bertanggungjawab mengirimkan tulisan beliau di jurnal lain beberapa tahun lalu tanpa seizin dan sepengetahuan beliau dan baru ketahuan setelah ibu Siti Mutholingah mempublish di jurnal Evaluasi edisi september 2018 ini. Jadi sebenarnya yang berhak mempublish artikel tersebut adalah ibu Siti Mutholingah karena artikel tersebut ditulis oleh beliau.

Abstract

The quality culture is a strategy to improve upon the institution towards the needs of society and become a long term goal of Indonesian education. In Jember, there are Madrasah Aliya Negeri 1 Jember and Madrasah Aliyah Unggulan Nurul Islam Jember, both have specification in implementing Islamic education though they have different geographical location and users, but the indicators of quality culture can be seen in excellent programs of society based and students potential oriented, they  also can maintain the achievement for local, national and international level. This research aims to reveal how to establish a quality culture in an excellent school. The aspects that will be concerned are a concept, value, culture and the implementation of quality culture in MAN 1 JEMBER and Madrasah Aliyah Unggulan Nurul Islam Jember. The writers will use the quaitative descriptive approach with repetition and continuity of analysis technique within collecting and analyzing data during the process of collecting data in the field and after the data gathered. From this research, it can be known that the quality culture concept of both schools used transformational leadership and intensive motivation is given. As for the quality culture of both school are different, MAN 1 Jember concerned about Ubudiyyah aspect and academic extracurricular program, while Madrasah Aliyah Unggulan Nurul Islamiyah concerned about literacy, discipline, and creative culture. To actualize these programs, the principal of both school, did the active communication intensively through all the school members anytime. In addition, the effect of this is all the school member always attempt to do the school program actively, and innovate the program to make a better institution.

Abstract

The implementation of School-Based Management is still in a meaningful transition phase. This happened due to the unfamiliarity of school-based education management concepts in the school environment. It is not easy to implement management innovation in a short time, but the phenomenon that shows that the desire to make changes in the management sector of school management has affected the system of managing education towards School-Based Management by leaving conventional management. This study aims to determine the implementation of MBM in MI Ma'arif Gondosuli. Then there is cooperation with and regular meetings with committees every minute or thirty-five days. Meetings with student guardians, namely at the beginning of each new school year, after PTS and PAS, and specifically for sixth graders on Fridays. Evaluating the supervision of academic management carried out by the school principal and school supervisor in a planned manner and learning evaluation carried out by class teachers and subject teachers, The implementation of the development of teaching staff was carried out by the mini Teacher Working Group (KKG) meeting at the school. Planning for the development of educational facilities and infrastructure include: 1) Propose additional facilities and infrastructure, 2) Carry out maintenance on available facilities and infrastructure. Planning for funding and school finance development includes: 1) Preparation of Madrasah Work Plans and Budgets (RKAM) involving school people, 2) Making proposals to increase school operational costs, 3) Making accountability reports on the use of school budgets, 4) Administration of school finance usage.

Abstract

This research is a type of field research analyzing by taking the background of MI Al Huda, Maguwo, Sleman as a place of the research. The subjects of this study are principals, teachers, and students of MI Al Huda, Maguwo, Sleman. The object of this research is the educational leadership influence of the madrasa principals on the performance of educators and educational personnel. Data collection is done by conducting observations, interviews, and documentation. This research uses a phenomenological approach. The results of this research indicate the influence of the principal leadership on the performance of educators and educational personnel in MI Al Huda, Maguwo, Sleman, DIY. A conclusion of this research are (1) The principal always prioritizes deliberation and respect the opinions of subordinates before making decisions or policies in Madrasa. (2) The principal of the Madrasah gives freedom to educators and educational personnel to be creative and innovative in carrying out their duties. (3) The principal always tries to be a father figure for students by trying to be close and familiar with students. (4) The principal always controls every activity. (5) The principal always involves all school members and the local community to reach school goals.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the improvement of the quality of education through academic qualifications and competencies. The research method used is a qualitative descriptive method. Data collection techniques carried out in this study used observation, interviews, and documentation. The subjects in this study were students of STAI Ma'had Aly Al-Hikam Malang Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Teacher Education (2017/2018). The results of this study obtained data that the previous academic qualifications were not appropriate / not linear with basic education, improving the quality of education through academic qualifications and competencies had a positive effect on education in MI.

Abstract

This knowledge has a purpose to know the problems of the headmaster to make the innovation and creation to increase the education quality. The method of knowledge that used is qualitative, the presentation method is descriptive Analysis, also designed with the literature phenomenology that allow some literature related to the study of headmaster problems to make the innovation and creation to increase the education quality such as low support from the parents and society about the finance like the parents feel exception when the school fee increase, the minimally finance a facility, the inappropriate teacher with the qualification also minimally teachers commitment. So, it can be the problem of the headmaster to make innovation and creation to increase education quality. The solution of those problems such as keep on giving the understanding to the parents and society that what headmaster and teachers do have a purpose to their students. They use school finance efficiently. For better facilities, the headmaster tried to get the assist from the government to complete the school facilities. And for the inappropriate teacher with the qualification, the institute must allow the teachers to participate in the training or study at university. And for lower commitment, the headmaster can give the motivation so that the teacher will have the motivation to be better.

Abstract

This paper aims to examine the problems of learning paradigm changes caused by technological developments in education in the digital era and provide solutions for teachers to improve the quality of learning. This study uses qualitative research methods with a literature review approach. Research by exploring the latest and most trusted reference sources is then explored in full and in depth. The results of this study note that technological developments in education led to a shift in the pattern of learning approaches that used to teacher-centered to be student-centered. Learning problems that arise as a result of technological developments in the digital era include; students in the digital age can access science through online with a laptop or smartphone, so that the source of knowledge obtained is less accountable, students are less interested in the design of learning messages taught without innovative media, teachers as facilitators are still lacking in using information technology-based media and communication in improving the quality of learning. This is a challenge for the teacher as a communicator in learning communication. The solution to these problems is that the teacher must active role in validating the source of information obtained by the student's knowledge, so that its validity can be accounted. Teachers need to design learning messages effectively so that students as communicants can receive learning messages well. Teachers need to have the right strategy in utilizing information and communication technology-based learning media in order to improve the quality of learning.
