Abstract

To enhance the learning achievement of each student the lecturer of the course are required to find and implement appropriate teaching methods and effective in each of the learning process so that every learning objectives and teaching can work as expected. Cooperative learning is a form of learning by students to learn and work collaboratively in small groups whose members consist of four to six people with a heterogeneous group structure.

Abstract

In the curriculum informatics engineering program of South Aceh Polytechnic, functiom derivative is taught in the second semester. The derivative function is a mathematics concept who does manipulation toward a function, thus the function slope can be obtained quantitatively on the slanted point. The derivative function material is one of the difficult material faced by the students. Accordingly, the implementation of a learning model is a good thing to create students' interest on the subject. And  the media also use to support teaching and learning process as software maple. The purpose of this research is to find out the students? results who have taught by quantum teaching and also maple on derivative function and the students who have taught by conventional method, and also to know the students' responses after taught by quantum teaching and software maple on derivative material. Experimental method is used in this research by designing pre-test and post-test and control groups. The population is all  of the second semester informatics engineering's students at South Aceh Polytechnic where they divided into two classes. The technique in gaining data is using two tests, they are written and questionnaire test. The result of data is analyzed by T-test, and questionnaire is analyzed by calculating the average scores which have set by Likert-scale. Research found that t-score > t-table that is 2.41>1,69. This showed that, the students' score on derivative material taught by quantum teaching by adopting media maple is better than the students' score taught by conventional method at informatics engineering of South Aceh Polytechnic. As for the students' responses, gainned the average of a proposed statements is 3.52. According to the specified criterias, the researcher concludes that the students' responses toward the implementation of quantum teaching by software maple on derivative function is very positive.

Abstract

Research is included into the type of descriptive study using quantitative and qualitative approaches. The research procedure includes stage 1) initial observation, 2) preparation, 3) implementation, 4) evaluation, and 5) final results. The subjects in this study were the second semester students of Mechanical Engineering Study Program, totaling 24 people. Data collection techniques used 1) test questions, 2) interviews, 3) documentation, and 4) field notes. Data analysis techniques mastery level of the material were analyzed using the percentage formula. Interview data were analyzed in stages 1) reducing data, 2) presenting data, and 3) summarizing data. Instrument documentation and field notes were analyzed narratively. The results of data analysis on the level of student mastery of composite material shows that the group of students in the category of mastery is very mastering (SM) 0 students (0%), the category of mastery mastering (M) is 9 students (23.68%), the category of mastery is less mastering (KM ) 16 students (42.11%), mastery category not mastered (TM) 13 students (34.21%). Students who mastered the mastery-1 category were 15 students (39.47%), who mastered the mastery-2 category by 22 students (57.89%), who mastered the mastery-3 category by 9 students (23.68%) and categories mastery-4 as many as 0 students (0%). Interview results obtained by some students 'mistakes in mastering composite material courses, namely a) errors in the use of formulas or concept errors, b) errors in algebraic fraction operations, c) students' lack of attention to the tests conducted, d) errors in inputting parameter values, e) errors in the operation of exponential numbers, f) errors in formulating problems in the form of formulas (mathematical modeling), and g) principle errors.

Abstract

The handicraft industry is one of the industrial sectors that provides a major contribution to the community's economy. Creative industries have 14 sectors according to the provisions of the KBLI (Indonesian Business Field Book Classification). This research was conducted in the Kluet Sub-district of South Aceh by mapping the creative industries in the Kluet Sub-district of South Aceh on the economic impact of the community which is influenced by 4 indicators namely labor, capital, total production and income. South Aceh Kluet Subdistrict is dominated by one sector, namely the Used Tires Rubber craft sector. To determine the development and influence of the creative industry on the economy, productivity is measured by making a ratio between effectiveness (output) and efficiency (input). The results of the assessment of each indicator by comparing 2018 and 2019. There is an increase from the previous year, meaning that the greater the value of productivity, the better the achievement target. Productivity measurement of the results obtained is based on labor indicators in 2018 obtained capital value in 2018 gained Rp1.4 and in 2019 amounted to Rp 1.9. Productivity measurement results obtained are based on labor indicators in 2018 obtained productivity values ??of 3 units / person in 2019 amounted to 5 units / person, the above results show an increase from 2018 to 2019. Abstract

Plastic waste has a negative impact on the environment, handling plastic waste by utilizing plastic waste and sand to make plastic bricks. This study aims to make plastic bricks, test the compressive strength of plastic bricks and determine the density. Making plastic stones using the experimental method, this method of experimenting with experience to prove themselves a statement that is learned. Maximum compressive strength test results in samples 1, 1 kg of plastic: 1 kg of sand = 141.42 kg/cm2. Sample 2, 1.15 kg plastic: 0.85 kg sand = 117.23 kg / cm2 and Sample 3, 0.85 kg plastic: 1.15 kg sand = 112.50 kg / cm2. Average mass weight sample 1 (1.25 kg) and the average lost weight of sample 1 (0.75 kg), average weight mass of sample 2 (1.39 kg) and lost average sample weight 2 (0.61 kg), mass average weight of sample 3 (1.3 kg) and loss of average sample weight 3 (0.7 kg) with total material used 2 kg. Based on the results of compressive strength tests, plastic bricks meet quality standards (SNI 15-2-94-1991). Thus this research can replace industrial products and maintain a healthy environment.

Abstract

The potential of non-metallic natural resources in South Aceh Regency is very abundant, one of which is granite rock. Granite rock is igneous rock that can be used for a variety of household and industrial products. This rock has certain characteristics based on its constituent mineral structure. South Aceh granite rocks are scattered in two different locations namely Samadua District and Sawang District. This research was conducted to determine the constituent mineral phase using the X-Ray Diffraction method. The results of testing and analysis showed that granite rock samples taken from Lhok pawoh village contained Quartz (SiO2) as the dominant phase, while the minor phase was Aluminum oxide (Al2O3). While the granite rock samples taken from Ujung Karang Village have Quartz (Sio2) as the dominant phase, while the minor phase is the dominant mineral phase contained in the dominant phase, namely Aluminum oxide (Al2O3). From the two samples above the high diffraction pattern is owned by rock samples from Ujung Karang Village.

Abstract

The city of Banda Aceh is the capital of Aceh where people work, from work to school. But the more the population increases, the less green open space in the Banda Aceh region and no longer fulfills its function as supporting the ecological, aesthetic, social, cultural and economic quality of the city. The purpose of this study is to find the composition of the proportion and distribution of green open space, especially in the downtown area of Banda Aceh appropriate to produce a concept penatan green open space in accordance with its function as a support for the ecological quality of the city which is also in accordance with the typology of Banda Aceh.
