Journal of Spirits is a scientific journal run by Faculty of Psychology Universitas Sarjanawiyata Tamansiswa Yogyakarta. The Spirits journal aims to create a space for exchange of information on psychology. The Spirits journal aims to support the growth of new ideas and ideas about psychological knowledge in both contemporary psychology and selfbased psychology. Spirits journal is also expected to be a space for the development of Ki Hajar Dewantara ideas on psychology in Indonesia. Spirits Journal has a focus of study results with qualitative, quantitative and mix methods on the field of psychology.

Abstract

ABSTRACTThis study is purposed to determine the relationship between knwoledge of  reproductive health and adolescent sexual behavior in SMA N 1 Imogiri. The samples used in this study is 100 students of class X SMA Imogiri, with purposive sampling technique. The analysis of the data used in this study is the Pearson product moment correlation.The result of this study showed  the coefficient of  r=-0,939 with p=0,000, there is a negative relationship between  knowledge of reproductive health  with adolescent sexual behavior in SMA N 1 Imogiri and hypothesis was accepted. If the reproductive health knowledge goes high, making the adolescent sexual behavior  low, apply instead.Keywords: knowledge of reproductive health, adolescent bexual behavior

Abstract

Abstrak. Modus operandi pelaku kriminalitas di era globalisasi berkembang semakin canggih. Untuk menghadapi hal tersebut seorang anggota Polri dituntut untuk senantiasa meningkatkan kinerjanya sesuai dengan dinamika tugas yang ada agar mampu memberikan perlindungan dan pelayanan kepada masyarakat secara optimal sehingga situasi kamtibmas senantiasa terjaga. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menguji hubungan Work Life Balance dan Organizational Citizenship Behavior terhadap kinerja anggota Polri. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian yang bersifat kuantitatif dengan jumlah sampel 103 responden anggota Polri di Polres Kulon Progo. Pengambilan sampel dengan menggunakan teknik purposive sampling dan analisis yang digunakan menggunakan analisis regresi sederhana dan analisis regresi ganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan hubungan yang positif dan signifikan antara: (a) Work Life Balance dengan Kinerja anggota Polri, (b) Organizational Citizenship Behavior dengan Kinerja anggota Polri dan (c) Work Life Balance dan Organizational Citizenship Behavior terhadap Kinerja anggota Polri.Kata Kunci: Organizational Citizenship Behavior, Kinerja, Work Life Balance

Abstract

ABSTRACT           The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between brand image and making the decision of choosing Departement.          Subjects in this study were students Departement UST Psychology Yogyakarta. The sampling technique was purposive sampling. The method of analysis used in this study is from Karl Pearson Product Moment.The results of the analysis of decision-making variable data with variable pick Faculty  brand image in showing the value of r = 0,619 with significant level p = 0,000 ( p < 0,05). Based on the results of correlation can be stated that there is a significant positive relationship between brand image by selecting the decision-making department of psychology UST Yogyakarta.          Correlation test test results showed that the variables of brand image to decision choosing faculty has determinant coefficient of 0,383. Means variable brand image in contributing effectively to decision making choosing Departement by 38,3 %,  while the remaining 61,7 % is influenced by other factors such as external factors which consist of prince and promotion or marketing and internal factors consist of motivation to decision making and attitudes towards decision making. Abstract

Abstrak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara workplace bullying dan komunikasi interpersonal dengan kepuasan kerja dan sejauhmana sumbangan efektif workplace bullying dan komunikasi interpersonal terhadap kepuasan kerja pada pegawai BPDB (Badan Penanggulangan Bencana Daerah) Kota Yogyakarta. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan teknik regresi berganda yang komputasinya menggunakan program Statistical Product and Service Solution (SPSS) versi 16.0 for Windows. Penelitian ini dilakukan di BPDB  Kota Yogyakarta dengan subjek penelitian pegawai BPBD sebanyak 50 orang. Instrumen dalam penelitian ini berupa skala workplace bullying, skala komunikasi interpersonal dan skala kepuasan kerja. Hipotesis penelitian ini adalah ada hubungan antara workplace bullying dan komunikasi interpersonal dengan kepuasan kerja pada pegawai BPDB Kota Yogyakarta. Hasil analisis korelasi menunjukkan nilai r = -0,197 dengan signifikansi 0,170. Artinya, secara statistik workplace bullying tidak signifikan berpengaruh secara langsung terhadap kepuasan kerja karyawan. Hasil analisis regresi antara workplace bullying dan komunikasi interpersonal dengan kepuasan kerja yang menghasilkan nilai F = 7,701 dengan p = 0,001 (p<0,05). Selain itu terdapat hubungan positif antara komunikasi interpersonal dengan kepuasan kerja yang ditunjukkan dengan hasil analisis korelasi yang menunjukkan nilai r = 0,449 dengan signifikansi 0,001. Sumbangan efektif workplace bullying dan komunikasi interpersonal terhadap kepuasan kerja adalah sebesar 24,7%, dan sumbangan komunikasi interpersonal sendiri terhadap kepuasan kerja adalah sebesar 20,16%.Kata kunci : komunikasi interpersonal, kepuasan kerja, workplace bullying

Abstract

Abstract This research aimed to find out to the correlation between social support with physically disabled in the Physically disabled rehabilitation center, to know the significant of social support function to autonomy of individual.The research was held in Physically disabled rehabilitation which subject were taken from 18 -35 years old of 120 people of physically disabled. To gain the data, the researcher used questionnaire method. The sample is taking with the purposive sample. Product moment Correlation analysis method was applied to analyze the data and it reached 5% of significance.The result of the data analysis showed that the social support  had a significance effect to the autonomy individual  with the value of r =0,399, (p>0,05), also give significant effect to it. Adjusted value (R2) of 0,159 means that 15,9% of variation of autonomy individual could be explained with the variation of social support. Meanwhile, 84,1% was caused by other factors. Keywords: social support and self-reliance

Abstract

Abstrak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui seberapa besar Apakah ada hubungan antara interaksi sosial dengan burnout pada karyawan PT. Dasar Karya Utama, Magelang. Hipotesis dari penelitian ini adalah ada hubungan negatif antara interaksil sosial dengan burnout pada karyawan PT. Dasar Karya Utama, Magelang, semakin tinggi interaksi sosial maka akan semakin rendah burnout. sebaliknya, semakin rendah interaksi sosial maka semakin tinggi burnout.  Subjek penelitian ini adalah karyawan PT. Dasar Karya Utama, Magelang sebanyak 93 orang. Alat ukur yang digunakan adalah skala Interaksi Sosial dengan burnout. Analisis data menggunakan teknik korelasi Product Moment Pearson dengan bantuan program statistik SPSS versi 16.0 for windows. Hasil analisis korelasi Product Moment antara variabel interaksi sosial dengan burnout yaitu -0,229 dengan p = 0,014 (p < 0,05). Dari hasil di atas menunjukkan bahwa korelasi signifikan. Artinya hipotesis diterima karena, terdapat hubungan yang negatif yang signifikan antara interaksi sosial dengan burnout. Artinya semakin tinggi interaksi sosial maka semakin rendah burnout. Sebaliknya, semakin rendah interaksi sosial maka semakin tinggi burnout. Kata kunci : burnout, interaksi social, karyawan

Abstract

ABSTRACT When employees work, there must be expected by employees. That expectation is the fulfillment of job satisfaction. By the fulfilled of job satisfaction, employees will emerge organizational citizenship behavior. The companies in the beginning need to fulfill employees job satisfaction. But if the job satisfaction of employees is fulfilled, then the companies also feel its benefit, because employees will show organizational citizenship behavior. Therefore, this study will test the relationship between job satisfaction and organizational citizenship behavior on employees.Data collection was conducted at PT. Bali Tourism Development, PO Box 3, 80363 Nusa Dua, Bali in June 2011. The subjects of this study are 50 employees. The reliability score of Job Satisfaction Scale is 0,906 and the reliability score of Organizational Citizenship Behavior scale is 0,965. The normality score of job satisfaction variable is 0.867 and the normality score of Organizational Citizenship Behavior is 0.245. Job satisfaction and organizational citizenship behavioral is linear because its probability score is 0.052. From correlation score is 0,287 and probability score is 0.043, it indicates that there is a relationship between job satisfaction and organizational citizenship behavior. The coefficient of determination is 0.08.From the result of this study is expected to contribute to the sciences such as Industrial Organizational Psychology, Organizational Behavior, Human Resource Management and Industrial Relation and also practically to the sustainability of the company as an employer and employee as workers. Keywords: job satisfaction, organizational citizenship behavior, employees

Abstract

ABSTRACTThe purpose of the study is to investigate the hardy personality of pasca stroke sufferer. Hardiness was first described by Kobasa (1979) as a cognitive appraisal processes composed of three characteristics: challenge, commitment, and control. There were 4 women participants who stroke sufferer during 0-6 years. Results indicate hardiness of pasca stroke sufferer we able look at their behaviour. They still giving interest to do something are relate environment and another people. Beside that, support from family is material, morality, and information could be helping subject to appear the hardy personality. Defended good relationship with another people was method of subject to increase hardiness. Key words : commitment, control, challenge.

Abstract

ABSTRACTThe aim of this study was finding the relationship between religiosity and adolescent aggressiveness at Madrasah Aliyah Assalaam Temanggung. The instruments are the religiosity scale and aggressiveness scale. Data was collected from 100 adolescence subjects ages 16-18 years, sitting in class X and XI MA Assalaam. Data analysis techniques used Pearson Product Moment Correlation (2-tailed). The result showed that the correlation coefficients obtained for (r) = -0.468 with a significance level of 0.000 (p <0.01). The conclusion, there is a negative significant relationship between religiosity to adolescent aggressiveness. The negative coefficient showed correlation to the both variables was negative. This means that increasing religious level can make decreasing aggression level, and converse, decreasing religious level can make increasing aggression level. Thus, the hypothesis in this study is acceptable. Keywords: religiosity, aggressiveness, adolescence

Abstract

ABSTRACT This research were aimed to find out the relationship between the interpersonal communication and organizational culture with the job satisfaction, the relationship between the interpersonal communication with the job satisfaction and the relationship between organizational culture with the job satisfaction of lecturer at Universitas Sarjanawita Tamansiswa Yogyakarta.The data were collected by using job satisfaction scales, interpersonal communication scales and organizational culture scales. The research was conducted at the Universitas Sarjanawita Tamansiswa Yogyakarta. The total number of the subjects were 58 that meet the criteria as a research subject.Data were analyzed by using multiple regression analysis and partial correlation analysis, by using SPSS version 17.0 statistical program as a tool. Theresult regression analysis showed : a) There were correlation between the interpersonal communication and the organizational culture with the job satisfaction. The result showed R=0,638 and Adjusted R Square (R²)=0,406, b) there were correlation positively between the interpersonal communication with job satisfaction. The result showed R partial=0,544 (p=0,000) and effective contribution=29,6% and c) there were correlation positively between organizational culture with job satisfaction. The result showed R partial=0,505 (p=0,000)  and effective contribution=25,5%.Key words : Job Satisfaction, Interpersonal Communication, Organizational
