Abstract

The learning process that takes place in the form of learning involves two parties between teachers and students that aims to improve student learning outcomes. In learning language there are four skills namely listening, speaking, reading, and writing. Among the four skills, writing skills is regarded as the most difficult language skills. Writing Skills is one language skills that must be mastered by the student. Civilizing expressing ideas or students ideas in written form can be developed through education. However, unfortunately this habituation is not taken seriously in the education system, so that the culture of writing in the student still low and there are still many students who find it difficult to carry out writing stories. Thus to overcome these difficulties using model MID (meaningfull instructional design).Keywords: Writing Skills, Model MID, Indonesian.

Abstract

This research aims to produce students’ worksheet based on local wisdom for first grade on theme my hobbies subtheme love in doing sports& singing and dancing of  SDN Utama 1 Tarakan. This research was Research and Development  with adopt procedure from Borg and Gall which is potential and problem, gather information, product design, design validation, the revised design, product testing, product revision, testing usage, and product revision. This result showed that : (a) student worksheet included in the category of valid from aspect content and material with average score 4,44 category very good, aspect language with average score 4 category good, and aspect desain with average score 4,04 category very good (b) student worksheet included in the category of practic with average score 3,83 category good (c) student worksheet included in the category effective from aspect observation student activity with average score 3,45 category good, aspect student respons with average score 4,32 category very good, and aspect of  students learning outcomes with average score 4,74 category very good. Keyword: Student Worksheet, Local Culture

Abstract

This study aims to: (1) apply lesson study in the development of learning materials based on local potential to improve the professional competence of primary school teachers in Kebumen in 2016; (2) produce learning materials based on local potential through lesson study as an effort to improve the professional competence of elementary school teachers in Kebumen in 2016. This study overall approach development (Research and Development / R & D). These research subjects were elementary school teachers in Kebumen numbered 50 people. Selection of study subjects according to the school characteristics, was by observing the accreditation status of the school and teacher status. The collection of data  were through (1) Focus Group Discussion (FGD). (2) observation, (3) test, (4) study the documentation, (5) interview, (6) checklish behavior, and (7) video. It can be concluded: (1) Lesson study based on learning materials development of local potential improve the professional competence of elementary school teachers in Kebumen 2015. (2) Lesson study can produce learning materials based on local potential quality. Improving the quality of the results of the implementation of lesson study the development of learning materials based on local potential to improve the professional competence of elementary school teachers in Kebumen 2015 reached 90%.Keywords: professional competence, lesson study, the local potential.

Abstract

This study has a purpose to determine the relationship between each variable. This study used descriptive correlational study. The study population was students of IKIP PGRI MADIUN in total 60 students. The research sample was 30 male students with techniques purposive sampling. This research resulted in the following conclusions: (1) there is a significant correlation between hand-eye coordination with the ability to smash, the correlation coefficient of 0.550. With N = 30, 5% value rtabel 0463. Turns rhitung = 0.550> 5% rtabel 0463. (2) there is a significant correlation between muscle power arm with the ability to smash, the correlation coefficient of 0.651. With N = 30, 5% value rtabel 0463. Turns r hitung = 0651> r tabel 5% 0463 (3) there is a significant correlation between the strength of the abdominal muscles with the ability to smash, the correlation coefficient of 0.549. With N = 30, 5% value r tabel 0463. Turns r hitung = 0549> 5% r tabel 0463. (4) there is a significant correlation between hand-eye coordination, power arm muscles and abdominal muscle strength with the ability to smash, Retrieved of 12,581 correlation coefficient, with F table db = 3 opponents 26 with a significance level of 5% = 4.64 turns F regresi price = 12.581 > prices F tabel 5% = 4.64.

Abstract

Waves and sound are included in physics subjects material that contains many graphics and mathematical equations. Hence, students need an effective way to understand it in the form of representation. One of the representation main functions is guiding the student to achieve an in-depth understanding. A research was about an analysis of the undergraduate students multiple representation ability on the material of sound and waves has been conducted. This research involved 148 students from PGSD study program. The results indicated that students have good representation abilities in verbal mode only, while the mathematical and visual representations are needed to be developed.Keywords: Multiple Representation, Waves and Sound.

Abstract

Implementation of learning model arias in learning activities to build a sense of confidence or thurst in students. Learning activities are relevant to student that trying to attract and maintain students interest. Then, the evaluation and develop a sense of pride in students by providing reinforcement. Arias general learning model can improve students motivation. The problems  encountered during the study was some students confused with the implementation of learning. There were students who are not active and not all student motivated by bringing in speakers. The strengthen was the learning become fun, students become active, spirit, motivation and learning achievement increased.Keywords: Aries Learning Models, learning Motivation, Learning Achievement.

Abstract

The purpose of this study are 1) describe of the initial conditions of the practicum in a Primary School District of  Bendosari to improve the understanding of  the material and activate learners’ understanding; 2) The design prototype model of  lab-based science JAS applied in a Primary School District of Bendosari; 3) The final form of the model design lab-based science JAS applied in a Primary School District of  Bendosari. This research is the development, conducted in sub-district elementary Bendosari Festive Year 2015/2016. In this research, the techniques were the development of needs analysis and design study model. The results in this study are the 1) Initial Condition form of characteristic learning model integrative who can not equip students in the control and learning science is: a model that contains the syntax: Mastery of  the science material and mastery of  practical science-based tracking the nature (JAS). 2) The initial design of  models of lab-based science tracking the nature (JAS) in the form of a syllabus, lesson plans, and worksheets. 3) In the vote on the model validator lab stated that lab model design based science used tracking the nature (JAS) can be used through the revision stage.Keywords: Practicum, Natural Sciences, JAS (Roaming Neighborhood Nature)

Abstract

Low student learning outcomes in science subjects is because teachers in the field using conventional learning strategies, so that students feel bored and not in the spirit of the learning process. Therefore, the teachers are required to be able to choose an effective learning strategies and efficient. This study aims to determine whether or not the influence of learning strategies PAILKEM with animated media for learning outcomes IPA grade IV SDN Kedungbanteng 3 City Ponorogo in academic year 2015/2016. This research is a quantitative research using experimental methods. This study research design static two groups. The sample selection using saturation sampling technique that is all class IVA and IVB with the number of 27 students per class. The data collection technique using the test method to learn science student outcome data. Data were analyzed with the average difference test (t-test) were previously performed tests of normality and homogeneity test. The results of t-test analysis showed that the value t_hitung = 3.098961 and t_tabel = 1.703 and significance level of 5% t_hitung> t_tabel then H_0 rejected concluded that received H_0 H_a rejected and accepted. so it can be concluded that the learning outcomes of students in the class who were treated using learning strategies PAILKEM with animation media better than the class that is not treated with the use of learning strategies PAILKEM with animation media. This means that there is a significant effect on student learning outcomes with the application of learning strategies PAILKEM with animation media in science subjects subject matter "Natural Resources" in the fourth grade SDN Kedungbanteng 3 cities Ponorogo.Keywords: Learning Outcomes, PAILKEM, Media Animation

Abstract

Sexual development of mental retardation’s children follows the physical development, thus experiencing a similar development with the normal ones. Those students have difficulty in understanding abstract information about the physical changes during puberty. Therefore, through the medium of learning macromedia flash, the sex education learning can be understood by them. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of using multimedia in teaching sex education as preparation for mental retardation’s students during puberty in SLB B/C SLB Al Azhar Waru Sidoarjo. The subjects were mental retardation’s students in that schools. Data collection techniques used in this research was shaped test objective tests. The design model used in this study is one group pretest-posttest design (treatment by subject design). Data analysis techniques used by the author in this research was a non-parametric analysis techniques that rank test Wilcoxon signed Sign marked tests (Wilcoxon Sign Rank Test). Based on the data analysis and discussion of the results of research, known that the Z count = -2070 with P = 0.038 at significance level of 5%. The results are smaller than 0.05 can be proven true. Based on those explanations it can be concluded that the alternative hypothesis which states "Learning to use Macromedia Flash is effective in teaching sex education for mental retardation’s students in SLB B / C Al Azhar Waru Sidoarjo" can be proven true.Keywords: Macromedia Flash, sex education, children with intellectual disability

Abstract

Constitution No. 20 of 2003, concerning Citizenship Education (PKN) is a compulsory subject for primary education, secondary, and compulsory subjects for higher education. The purpose of this study is to improve learning outcomes Civics using Active Learning Model Type Question Role Reversal in Class V SDN 4 Doplang Jati district of  Blora. This research was a class action (classroom action research). The stages as follows: (1) planning, (2) implementation, (3) observation and (4) reflection. The result of research indicating that students who received grades ≥70 the first cycle increased by 25%  from the initial 44% to 69%. Then students who scored ≥70 on the second cycle increased 28% to 97%. The average value of the first cycle increased by 8.75% from 66.53 into 75.28 early in the first cycle and then the second cycle of the average value increased again by 10.97% to 86.25. Researchers suggest teachers should encourage students to be more daring in expressing opinions, questions and ideas that are not held only in Civics alone but on other subjects. In addition, teachers are expected to use active learning model of the type of role reversal question in improving student learning outcomes in other subjects. As for the school is expected to provide training to teachers on implementing learning activities are innovative and creative. Keywords: active learning, civic education, learning outcomes.
