Abstract

The average stocks return of the initial public offering (IPO) in the U.S. stock market was -29.13% at the end of the third year after the IPO (Ritter, 1991). The conclusion is that the Underperformed phenomenon is influenced by the volume of trade and only occurs in the non-financial sector (Ritter, 1991). Underperformed is a stock return of initial public offerings that have lower performance compared to the market return. Bessler and Thies (2007) stated that the year of going public is the time period of the initial public offering (IPO). There is a time variation in the pattern of benefits, it raises a question of whether companies can maximize the value and amount of funds acquired. In investing, investors consider the return and risk, the expected results of the investment will be realized after a certain period of time and during this period there is a risk of the investments made. The aim of this study is to analyze the factors that affect Abnormal Return on long-term stock performance after 36 months of the IPO. The independent variables in this study consist of Benchmark, Money Raised, Market Value, and Magnitude of Underpricing. The dependent variable is the abnormal return on long-term stock performance after 36 months of the IPO. The samples used in this study were the nonfinancial companies on 2006-2009 period as many as 54 non-financial companies using purposive sampling method. The analysis technique used was multiple linear regression analysis and performed classical assumption test which include normality test, multicollinearity test, autocorrelation test, and heteroskesdasticity test. The results showed that partially the Benchmark affect significantly and negatively toward Abnormal Return; Money Raised and Market Value does not affect significantly and positively towards Abnormal Return; Magnitude of Underpricing affect significantly and positively towards Abnormal Return. The ability of the four independent variables to explain the variation on the dependent variables amounted to 45.8%, while the rest equal to 54.2% explained by other factors that are not described in the model. Abstract

This research study aimed to determine the influence of brand preference,perceivedquality, Perceived Value toward purchasing decisions. This research is motivatedincreasingly tight competition level of automatic motor cycle. A sample of this study is100 consumens. The technique used in sampling is an accidental sampling. The results ofthis study is a manufacture company or business actors which is able to offer the benefitthrough increased brand preference by providing added value services to business andconsumers, will eventually be able to influence its consumer behaviour in purchasingdecisions.Key words: brand preference , perceived quality, Perceived Value , purchase decisions.

Abstract

ABSTRAKSI Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh antar variabel guna menjawab permasalahan bagaimana inovasi produk, aliansi stratejik dan  perubahan lingkungan menciptakan keunggulan kompetitif yang akan meningkatkan kinerja perusahaan. Penelitian ini memberikan implikasi teoritis serta implikasi manajerial mengenai langkah yang harus diambil oleh PT. Pos Indonesia untuk meningkatkan kinerja perusahaannya melalui keunggulan kompetitif yang didapat dari inovasi produk, aliansi stratejik dan perubahan lingkungan. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh kantor pos di wilayah VI Jateng dan DIY yang sudah on-line. Dari 272 kuesioner yang disebar, yang kembali hanya 111 kuesioner. Data jawaban dari responden tersebut kemudian dianalisis kesesuaiannya dengan model penelitian yang dikembangkan dari kerangka teoritis menggunakan analisis konfirmatori SEM. Dari hasil analisis data terlihat bahwa dari enam hipotesis, hanya empat yang diterima. Perubahan lingkungan terbukti berpengaruh positif terhadap aliansi stratejik dan keunggulan kompetitif, aliansi stratejik berpengaruh positif terhadap keunggulan kompetitif dan keunggulan kompetitif berpengaruh positif terhadap kinerja perusahaan. Inovasi produk terbukti tidak memiliki pengaruh terhadap aliansi stratejik dan keunggulan kompetitif. Kata kunci:      Inovasi Produk; Aliansi Stratejik; Perubahan Lingkungan; Keunggulan Kompetitif; dan Kinerja Perusahaan .

Abstract

Along with the growth and development of confection business in the city of Semarang which increased significantly. More and more confection offers its services. Especially on Boroscloth's confection that offers clothing-making services. Increasing competition between confection to sell their products, causing in decreased sales of Boroscloth confection. Boroscloth confection must be able to use the best marketing strategy to stay afloat. The purpose of this study is to determine the magnitude of the influence of Product Design, Product Quality, and Competitive Price variables on Purchase Decision which is expected to increase the percentage or volume of Boroscloth product sales. Product Design, Product Quality, and Competitive Price as independent variables; brand image as intervening variable; and Purchase Decision as the dependent variable. The population used in this study was a customer who had used a Boroscloth confection service. Sampling technique used in this research is by purposive sampling. This research hypothesis testing using the data of 100 respondents. The analysis technique used in this research is to use a software program Statistical Package for Social Science (SPSS) version 24.The result of this study indicate that variable product quality positively affect to brand image. Then, variable competitive prices, brand image, and product design are positively affect to purchase decision.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to analyze the impact time demands of work, on job satisfaction,job stress, and employee turnover intention PT. Bank Tabungan Negara (Persero) Tbk.Cabang Harapan Indah, BekasiThis study is using path analysis with SmartPLS 2.0.M3. The population that used in thestudy is all the employees of PT. Bank Tabungan Negara (Persero) Tbk. Cabang HarapanIndah, Bekasi, which are 108 respondents. The amount of the sample is determined by thecensus method of the entire employee. However the sample that has been applied into 85respondents significantly decreased into 85people.The results have shown that the time demands of work do not significantly influenceturnover intention. Furthermore the time demands of work have no significant effect on jobsatisfaction. Employee satisfaction negatively affect on turnover intention. Job satisfactionis not successfully mediating the relationship between the time demands of work andturnover intention. Time demands of work have positive influence on job stress. Job stresshas positive effect on turnover intention. Job stress has been successfully mediating therelationship between the time demands of work and turnover intention. Job stressnegatively affect with job satisfaction. Job satisfaction also has been successfullymediating the relationship between job stress and turnover intention.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Aspek permodalan merupakan salah satu aspek yang sangat penting dalam dunia perbankan nasional, disamping dalam rangka mengembangkan usaha untuk menampung kerugian ? kerugian . Dalam upaya menjaga agar permodalan bank senantiasa sehat , Bank Indonesia selaku pemegang otoritas moneter di Indonesia menentukan aturan ? aturan kesehatan permodalan . Maksud dari penelitian ini adalah mengkaji dan analisis pengaruh antara risiko kredit (NPL)risiko asset (NPA), profitabilitas (ROA), (ROE), likuiditas (LDR), dan efisiensi usaha (BOPO)  terhadap rasio modal ( CAR) . Penelitian dilakukan  terhadap bank yang telah go public di BEJ dengan data dari tahun 2000-2004, diambil dari Indonesian Capital Market Dictionary dan JSX Watch Bisnis Indonesia.  Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa NPL, NPA, ROE, dan BOPO tidak memliki pengaruh secara signifikan terhadap CAR, sedangkan ROA dan LDR berpengaruh secara signifikant terhadap CAR. Hal ini membuktikan bahwa kecukupan modal tidak hanya berpengaruh pada ke  enam faktor tersebut namun juga dipengaruh oleh variabel ?variabel lain dan kondisi makro ekonomi. Abstract

Affective organizational commitment is a psychological attachment to the organization that is characterized by a strong desire of individuals to survive in an organization and there is emotional involvement of the organization, the identification of values and goals of the organization. The purpose of this study to determine the relationship between perceptions of transactional leadership style with affective organizational commitment in managing workers Perusahaan Umum (Perum) Perhutani Kesatuan Pemangkuan Hutan Semarang. The population in this study are workers implementing the Perusahaan Umum (Perum) Perhutani Kesatuan Pemangkuan Hutan Semarang. Study sample totaled 138 people, which is obtained through simple random sampling technique. Means of collecting data in this study is the scale. Affective and the scale of organizational commitment scale (32 valid aitem, ? = 0.933) and perceptions of transactional leadership style (30 valid aitem ? = 0.954), which has been tested on 38 workers implementing the Perusahaan Umum (Perum) Perhutani Kesatuan Pemangkuan Hutan Semarang. Data obtained by simple regression analysis demonstrated a correlation coefficient of 0.42 and p = (p <0.05). That is, there is a positive and significant relationship between two variables, if the more positive perceptions of transactional leadership style, the higher the affective commitment to the organizations, and conversely the more negative perceptions of transactional leadership style, the lower the affective organizational commitment in managing workers. These results indicate that the hypothesis is accepted. Perceptions of transactional leadership style contributed by 17.7% effective against affective organizational commitment, while 82.3% were influenced by other factors that are not revealed in the study. Abstract

ABSTRAKSI Penelitian ini ditujukan untuk hubungan kausal berjenjang antara motivasi intrinsik, kejelasan peran, kepuasan kerja, komitmen organisasi dan keinginan untuk pindah dalam konteks PT. Bank Papua. Pada model yang dikembangkan, nampak bahwa komitmen organisasi ditempatkan sebagai variabel intervening yang menghubungkan antara kepuasan kerja dengan keinginan karyawan untuk pindah. PT. Bank Papua dipilih sebagai obyek penelitian karena kondisi terkininya, yaitu keluarnya beberapa karyawan potensial dan adanya deviasi antara target dan realisasi kinerja keuangan, telah memberikan ruang yang ideal bagi pengujian hubungan kausal antar variabel dalam penelitian ini. Sampel penelitian ini berjumlah 129 yang diperoleh dengan pendekatan purposive sampling.  Akan tetapi, kuesioner yang kembali dan layak untuk diolah hanya sebanyak 112 kuesioner. Teknik analisis yang dipergunakan untuk mengolah data yaitu Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) yang dijalankan dengan perangkat lunak Amos 4.01. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa motivasi intrinsik dan kejelasan peran mempengaruhi kepuasan kerja secara positif, kepuasan kerja mempengaruhi komitmen organisasi secara positif dan komitmmen organisasi mempengaruhi keinginan untuk pindah secara negatif (artinya makin tinggi komitmen organisasi karyawan, maka akan semakin rendah kemungkinan untuk pindah). Temuan empiris tersebut mengindikasikan bahwa para pimpinan PT. Bank Papua seyogyanya berusaha meningkatkan komitmen organisasi dalam rangka mengurangi keinginan karyawan potensial untuk pindah, dengan sebelumnya melakukan evaluasi tingkat kepuasan kerja yang dipengaruhi oleh motivasi intrinsik dan kejelasan peran. Implikasi teoritis dan saran-saran bagi penelitian mendatang juga diuraikan dalam penelitian ini. Kata kunci: hubungan kausal berjenjang; keinginan berpindah; studi kasus; SEM

Abstract

ABSTRACT Human resource is the spear from organizations. Without Human Resource, all of the organization resources can?t process and developed to get profit, and it is happened on government organization too. The government organization has Organizational Citizenship Behavior, who helped the employee included the contract workers on their social working scope. Some factors that needed to determine higher or lower the OCB?s level even contract or permanent workers it is loyalty, obesity and their participation to the organization who covered them. Loyalty, obesity and participation levels of contract workers on government sector is an interesting case to research. This research want to analyze and examine influence factors  to the OCB?s contract workers in government organization, with working satisfaction and Organization behavior as an independent variable and use Working Motivation as an intervening variable. Sample of this research is a contract workers who working at Diponegoro University, Semarang. Whereas,  analysis technique on this research using SEM. Based on the research results, that working satisfaction and organization behavior is positively influential to the contract workers working motivation, whereas working motivation factor with a significant too, that positively influential to the OCB?s contract working. Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of organizational commitment on employeeperformance in Perumnas Jakarta. And to know which one variable affectspredominantly between 3 variables namely affective commitment, normative commitment,and continuance commitment to employee performance in Jakarta Perumnas.The study uses three independent variables, namely affective commitment, normativecommitment and continuance commitment, with the dependent variable is theperformance of employees. The data in this study were collected through a questionnairedistributed to 75 employees in Jakarta Perumnas.Based on the research that has been done shows that affective commitment variable has apositive and significant influence on employee performance, variable normativecommitment has a positive and significant impact on employee performance, andcontinuance commitment variable has a positive and significant influence on employeeperformance.Keywords: Affective Commitment, Normative Commitment, Continuance CommitmentEmployee Performance.
