Abstract

Crowdsourced Labelling is a large scale data labelling process, solicits a large group of people to label the data, usually via Internet.  This paper discusses about design and implementation of Web-based Crowdsourced Labelling.  Supervised learning classification methods need labelled training data for its training phase.  Unfortunately, in many cases, there aren’t any already available labelled training data.  Large scale data labelling is a tedious and time consuming work.  This research develops a web-based crowdsourced labelling which able to solicit a large group of people as data labeler to speed up the data labelling process.  This system also allows multiple labeler for every data.  The final label is calculated using Weighted Majority Voting method.  We grabbed and used Facebook comments from the two candidates’ Facebook Page of 2014 Indonesian Presidential Election as testing data.  Based on the testing conducted we can conclude that this system is able to handle all the labelling steps well and able to handle collision occurred when multiple labeler labelling a same data in the same time. The system successfully produces final label in CSV format, which can be processed further with many sentiment analysis tools or machine learning tools. Abstract

Data is very important component in the organization and should be managed properly. Information with accurate, precise, and reliable data be beneficial for the organization for decision making. XYZ University realize that the data management is very important process. The needs of data must be supported properly and quickly, so that the required data can be accessed anytime and anywhere. In this study discusses the process of providing data according to user demand. The method in this paper is identification, define the problem, and data collection. XYZ University already has applications to support data requests, but not all data requests can be fulfilled in the system. There is still a process of data requests made   through emails. Overall, the application for data requests very helpful for database and system admin staff, so the routine data requests through emails can be reduced. The application has also features for monitoring data requests from units, so the Manager can monitor the process of the data request and find out any unit that doing frequent data requests each month. But, the application also required for tracking data requests, so user can monitor status of data requests, who’s working on, and estimation time for processing data requests. Abstract

Recently, Bike shop only sells bicycle in full bike or you can build it with components that suit you at the shop. However, these days many customer needs e-commerce web so that potential customers or buyers can shop online for their custom build bike. But if they want to see how it built, they have to see it on the shop or see other builds. The main idea of this study is to make a custom build simulation for bicycle web application for bike shop so that potential buyers could do a simulation first before they buy a custom build bike so that they know what components that suits them and know the weight, price and etc. The objective of this study is to make the potential buyer easier to find a bike that suits their needs. The methodology of system design in this study is using Rapid Application Development Method because the method could made the process very fast and always interact with the bike shop owner so that the application right on track. The website application was built by using MySQL Database and PHP programming language. The website is divided into 2 parts, which are one for customer and one for admin for maintaining the app. In this study use Spinwarrior bike shop for the example of the website implementation Index Terms: Bicycle, custom build, simulation, PHP, website.

Abstract

Main priority aspects of information and communication technologies is given to a control or control mechanisms, both internal and external, to ensure that the report and the decision received and generated by the management decision-making is an honest and have high integrity based on the results of the audit conducted on based systems of information and communication technology. The object of research is the PT Erajaya Swasembada, Tbk. This company was founded in 1990, running a business as a distributor of mobile phones, which have widespread outlets in various cities in Indonesia. Business processes studied include sales, purchasing, finance, and the warehouse. The system used is “Erajaya Live Application Server” version of the July-December 2012 and based ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning). The research was including a General Controls, Boundary Controls, Input Controls, Process Control, Output Controls, Database Control, Application Communication control, and Operating system controls. Data collection methods by performing interviews with the IT managerial departments, distributed questionnaires to the five respondents form of answer was “Yes”, “No” or “Do not Know”, and also observations to the PT Erajaya Swasembada, Tbk. The collected data were analyzed using techniques COBIT 4.1. The results obtained 15 audit findings. The results of maturity model formulation were known domain Plan and Organize at level 4, Acquire and Implement at level 5, Deliver and Support at level 4, Monitor and Evaluate at level 4. Abstract

Institute for Research and Community Service, or called LPPM is a forum for researchers to conduct studies with internal and national scales. LPPM UMN is one of the institutions that provide the container for UMN researchers. However, in the LPPM UMN itself still does not have a webbased system that can be accessed anywhere. This website will be able to share knowledge amongst lecturers by downloading study results that have been done before. After collecting all the requirements, an application is designed using the Rapid Application Development for a limited time spent. The application is built by designing a website and applying MySQL database and PHP programming language with CodeIgniter framework 2.2.2. This website is divided into 3 parts; admins, reviewers, and researcher. Admins are able to see the whole proposal which is sent and appoint a reviewer for one of the proposals. Reviewers have some facilities to review research proposals that have been uploaded. Researchers are able to upload a research proposal. Index Terms - LPPM, Knowledge Management, Research, Website.

Abstract

Education is an important asset for the future of each individual, community, nation, and world. However, not everyone can have the same opportunity as the field of economic and geographic constraints that trigger gaps in the public assessment of the quality of one’s intellectual. Based on data provided by UNESCO, Indonesia recorded no. 4 from other ASEAN countries, in the level of Gross Enrolment Ratio. The research process is intended to form a picture of educational inequality at the college level in every region in Indonesia. This study was made with Web scrapping’s techniques and produce a website that presents a valid and accurate information and analysis of the ratio of Gross Enrolment Ratio to show the level of participation at the college level. Abstract

There are many mobile and desktop apps available to use for free. Starting from games to productivity apps. One type of productivity apps is cloud file hosting services such as Dropbox and Google Drive. This study aims to determine how Dropbox and Google Drive are accepted to the users. Not just want to get the factors of acceptance, but to get the root of the acceptance. By using the methodology of technology acceptance model and relying on statistical calculations of structural equation modeling software LISREL, the level of acceptance of these two popular applications will be known. Abstract

In this modern era, internet technology and information system are very crucial in helping people or companies running their business. The latest technology allows people to buy and sell online using an electronic system that is known as e-commerce. Admittedly, many people still feel insecure when doing transactions in cyberspace due to the fact that fraud often occurs between buyers and sellers. To overcome this downside, this study aims to develop an online application that will provide a secure environment for sellers and buyers to transact named public e-marketplace. This system has several features. First, features for seller: registration functionality, login functionality, products management, transactions management, profile management. Second, features for buyer: registration functionality, login functionality, searching functionality for suppliers and products, transaction management, payment confirmation, Profile management. Third, features for admin: ability to view the status of the account, ability to update the account activation, payment verification, delivery verification, refund verification. For the security of the system used HTTPS on a page and form URL, SSL or TLS, Captcha secure word and password encryption. This application will be developed with ASP.NET technology, using SQL Server to store its database and Internet Information Service (IIS) as its web server.
