Abstract

Ear, Nose and Throat Disease (ENT) is a common disease that is often considered a harmless disease by people, so they assume there is no need to see a doctor. But in fact, ENT disease can also provide serious disorders if not treated early and right, so the expert system of ENT is needed for early detection before the patient decided to see a doctor or not. Based on these problems, this study proposed the application of the Bayes theorem for early detection of ENT disease. The types of diseases used in this study were six types and had 22 symptoms. User inputs the symptoms of a disease, then the system will provide a diagnosis. This diagnosis can be used as an initial reference for sufferers and can be used as a reference for young doctors who are taking medical education with an ENT specialist. In this initial research, testing was carried out to calculate the computational time needed by the system to diagnose ENT disease. Based on this research, we found that the average computing time needed by the system to diagnose is 00:09:54 or Nine minutes, fifty-four seconds.

Abstract

Thesis is an important thing and always exist in a university. The thesis also as a manifestation of the results of scientific papers of students registered and organized in accordance with the prescribed rules. This time the problems arising from the submission of the thesis at the University of Trunojoyo in general is a process of finding and determining a thesis titles appropriate to ask students and unavailability of data from student thesis systematically arranged and computerized, so that in the manufacture of paper there are many similarities, both in the form of titles and methods that are often used by students, this affects the uniformity of student-made thesis results. With the development of thesis management application using code igniter and cosine similarity framework is expected to evaluate, monitor, and improve the performance of the manual system into a computation system while minimizing similarity and plagiarism and can improve services to students who submit a thesis easily in accordance with the rules applicable in the University of Trunojoyo Madura.

Abstract

Computer Vision is one of the branches of Image processing science that allows a combination of human beings, such as identifying an object like an eye and taking a decision. Many of the face detection systems use the Viola Jones method as an object detection method. The method of Viola Jones is known by having high speed and accuracy because it is useful to combine several concepts such as (Haar Features, Integral Image, AdaBoost, and Cascade Classifier) into a major method for detecting objects. The programming language used in this study uses the MATLAB programming language to facilitate the process of creating the system. The research aims to implement Viola Jones into a simple eye-sensing drowsiness system by utilizing the existing libraries in the MATLAB programming language. Once the system is completed, a system test is performed against the detected drowsiness detection characteristics. This eye drowsiness detection system aims to determine if the car rider is sleepy or not when driving with an input in the form of eye detection taken using a digital camera and then inserted into a language Programming GUI Matlab where the value is taken binary eyes, sleepy eyes and not sleepy that will be a reference that will be processed later so that it can produce the output of a warning sound to the rider of the sleepy car vehicle or not The sleepy automatically. The testing of the program gained an amount detected 7 eyes of 10 eyes by using BW 0255 level which is useful to accelerate a program to detect sleepy eyes.

Abstract

The Research aimst to compare backpropagation and Learning Vector Quantization (LVQ) methods in exploring the potential of new students at STMIK PalComTech. Comparisons in this study involve four input variables used which consist of four basic subjects of informatics engineering and information systems (math, basic programming, computer networks and management bases) which then make informatics techniques and information systems as outputs, to get the accuracy level high in this study, the researchers used several variations of parameters which eventually produced the best accuracy of the two methods. From 120 data tested using variations in test data and training data which are then processed using variations in the learning rate parameters and epochs. From the test results obtained the level of accuracy of pattern recognition in the backpropagation method is 99.17% with a learning rate variation of 0.1 and epoch 100, the learning vector quantization method has an accuracy rate of 96.67% with a variation of learning rate 1 and epoch 20 From the results of the comparison the Backpropagation method is superior in terms of accuracy so that it becomes the right method to use in exploring the potential of new students at STMIK PalComTech.

Abstract

The face is a challenging object to be recognized and analyzed automatically by a computer in many interesting applications such as facial gender classification. The large visual variations of faces, such as occlusions, pose changes, and extreme lightings, impose great challenge for these tasks in real world applications. This paper explained the fast transfer learning representations through use of convolutional neural network (CNN) model for gender classification from face image. Transfer learning aims to provide a framework to utilize previously-acquired knowledge to solve new but similar problems much more quickly and effectively. The experimental results showed that the transfer learning method have faster and higher accuracy than CNN network without transfer learning.

Abstract

Nowadays computer networks are growing rapidly and internet usage is increasing everyday. The need to design an internet network cannot be separated from the routing protocol which functions to integrate all computers with the highest flexibility. Routing is one part that provides effective performance in the network. In comparing the performance of EIGRP and OSPF routing protocols, the implementation of EIGRP and OSPF must be implemented when building a network, so administrators easily know the difference in the performance values of the two routing protocols. The discussion in this study is to compare the performance of the EIGRP routing protocol and OSPF routing protocol that is on the network using the hybird topology. Overcoming problems with high-scale network access, we will analyze and compare performance between EIGRP routing protocol and OSPF routing protocol. In obtaining the value and to verify the results of the implementation, the simulation software uses a Packet Tracer simulator.

Abstract

Companies like these services are important to improve the quality of services provided to customers. In this case it is very useful for companies to plan ahead. For this reason, PT. Enchantment Denar has a different way to assess customer satisfaction. In practice, the activity of evaluating the level of customer satisfaction must be done with a good and appropriate method. Fuzzy Servqual method was chosen to assess and rank the level of customer satisfaction. This study aims to determine the level of customer satisfaction with the services of PT. Enchantment Denar and analyze service factors that must be improved and quality improved. The results of the study show that the gap value is negative, it can be said that the services provided by PT. Denar Charm has not satisfied the customer's heart. Then the lowest result of the gap is -0.334 of the empahty variable and the highest result is -1.137 in the responsiveness variable. Therefore PT. Enchantment Denar must further increase the lack of results so that in the future PT. Denar Charm is very good service for the customer.

Abstract

Implementation of Information Systems used to improve the quality of service in the field of education at STMIK Amikom Purwokerto, the increasing problems in STMIK Amikom Purwokerto have not yet had a difference in terms of information systems to increase the system's prosperity. The method used is descriptive method using quantitative. The concept of this study uses the theory of DeLone and McLean combined with the COBIT 5 Framework which consists of 6 indicators including system quality, information, services, users, user satisfaction and net benefits. The results of this study are information systems that have been quite good and successful in the range of 0.80 the highest value of system quality, this explains about system users who have been carried out as daily activities to help use the operational process. The lowest value is service quality (0.50). This explains the quality of service received well needs improvement. And found some services that are less good and between good variables. Benefits of users, found to be related between information system development and information system maturity level (H0 rejected), but opposed not too strong or significant (0.38).

Abstract

Sekolah Menengah Pertama 1 Nusawungu for Biology Subject there are several sub-subject of material that are difficult to be presented directly, one of which is material for growth and development, the motion system, respiratory system, ciculatory system and photosynthesis system. From material that cannot be presented directly, the teacher must have new media in delevering biological material and students are facilitated in receiving the material from the teacher. In that case researchers have the aim of implementing mobile android-based learning media with the Multimedia Development Life Cycle method which consist of six stages in the from concept, design, material collecting, assembly, testing and distribution. Base on the results obtained by using a questionnaire, the appearance of learning media obtained a score of 82%, in terms of ease use learning media get 82,6%, in terms of understanding content biological material get 80% and in terms of effectiveness learning media help the learning process get 82,6%. So it can be concluede that learning media can help teachers and students in the teaching and learning process.

Abstract

AMIK Ibrahimy has fieldwork courses every semester 4. This course is conducted to support the value of students and also becomes a requirement to participate in the Final Project. This practice is carried out by distributing participants to practices to several agencies determined by the committee. After that, the committee will also schedule an exam for the participants. However, in carrying out the field work practices, the committee needs a long time in the registration process to assess, this occurs because there is no specific information system designed according to the SOP that can help the committee. Based on some of the problems experienced, then to help minimize these problems, it is necessary to design a Reconstruction Information System Field Work in the hope that it can help expedite processing in the process of practices that have been quite time-consuming. This system is made using the waterfall method with several steps carried out starting from the Requirement to Maintenance. The results of this study are expected to help facilitate the process of fieldwork. The test results show that the system reconstruction results are in accordance with the requirements and can help minimize the problems that occur.
