Abstract

Used water has the potential to be processed and recycled based on its continuous volume and quality that allows processing in place. The need for the importance of water is not balanced with consciousness to conserve water, so that many sources of water are polluted by human actions themselves. The purpose of this study is to determine the level of waste water usage of ablution activities, to know the performance of water treatment using ablution water through a combination of slow sand filter; and analyze the content of BOD5, E.colli / total coliform, pH and ablution water temperature. This research took samples at Jamik Lambaro Mosque, Regency of Aceh Besar, then tested in Environmental Engineering Laboratory of Environment of Serambi Mekkah University. The results showed that the use of ablution water increased at the time of five daily prayers, especially on Friday reached 1,579 people with the use of water ablution reached 4747 liters. Currently, there is no water treatment for the former Mosque of Jami’ Lambaro Mosque, the waste water is dumped into the mosque’s drainage ditch. Based on ablution water treatment with sand combination has decrease efficiency of BOD5 equal to 95%. The results of laboratory tests showed that the BOD5 content of 17 mg / l, its value under the standard quality of 50 mg / l. E.colli / total coliform that is 0 from 100 ml that meets the quality standard in accordance with Kep.Men LH RI No. 5 year 2014. The result of temperature / temperature analyst is 28,9 oC and pH is 7,34

Abstract

This study was conducted to determine the percentage and level of parasite infestation of gastrointestinal nematodes (NGI) in cattle based on different areas in Aceh Province. The samples in this study were cow feces taken each 3 (three) subdistricts in Gayo Lues District with 64 samples and East Aceh district with 93 samples. For sample examination and see infestation picture have been done with laboratory test by using Method of centrifuge and Mc method Master. For data analysis done with Prevalence test and formulation of Mc. Master. The results showed that based on percentage of gastrointestinal nematode attendance level in Gayo Lues District, there were 15 positive samples (23.44%), while in East Aceh of 93 samples examined there were 33 positive (35.48% ), seen a higherpercentage in East Aceh (<0.05). Meanwhile, based on egg yield per gram of feces (TPGT) showed that Gayo Lues Regency is higher than East Aceh, where in Regency of  Gayo Lues from 15 positive number of eggs there were 20,661 grains (1377 grains / head), while in East Aceh from 33 positive , the number of eggs is only 23,595 grains (715 eggs / head), seen from TPGT result shows there is real difference (p <0,05).

Abstract

PT Lotte Chemical Titan Nusantara (PT LCTN) is a Korean Foreign Investment Company in Cilegon City which is a polythylene producing industry. PT LCTN produces waste water into the sea. Wastewater treatment refers to the Decree of the Minister of Environment Number 22 of 2011 on the Permit for Disposal of Wastewater into the Sea of PT Titan Petrokimia Nusantara. Thepurpose of the research is to identify the problem and the improvement step in wastewater treatment. The effectiveness of wastewater treatment  erformance at ETU (Effluent Treatment Unit) in 2015, especially on test parameters such as Total Dissolved Solid, TSS (Total Suspended Solid), Nitrate, Nitrite, BOD (Biochemical Oxygen Demand) and COD (Chemical Oxygen Demand). Statistical analysis SPSS Version 22 shows the average value of inlet and outlet there is a difference because the value of trithmetic is smaller than t table. In other words can give a significant influence on theinlet and outlet. Percentage effectiveness of TDS reach 33,33%, TSS reach 91,67%, nitrate reach 25% while for nitrite reach 83,33%.

Abstract

Biobriket merupakan salah satu bahan bakar alternatif yang berasal dari biomassa. Biomassa yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kulit kakao. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memanfaatkan kulit kakao sebagai bahan bakar alternatif dan juga mengetahui ukuran serbuk dan lama pengeringan biobriket yang terbaik dengan standar mutu indonesia (SNI 01-6235-2000). Karakteristik biobriket diketahui dengan melakukan pengujian karakteristik kadar air, kadar abu, nilai kalor, zat terbang, dan karbon terikat. Bahan-bahan yang digunakan adalah kulit kakao ditambahkan perekat kanji. Proses pembuatan biobriket diawali dengan penjemuran bahan, dihaluskan, diayak masing-masing bahan dengan variasi ukuran 60 mesh, 80 mesh, dan 100 mesh. Pembriketan dilakukan dengan menggunakan cetakan silinder dengan tekanan manual yang selanjutnya biobriket dijemur hingga kering dengan variasi 2 hari dan 3 hari dan diuji karakteristiknya. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ukuran serbuk dan lama pengeringan biobriket dari kulit kakao memberikan pengaruh terhadap karakteristik biobriket. Karakteristik biobriket terbaik diperoleh dari biobriket ukuran serbuk 100 mesh dan lama pengeringan 3 hari, kadar air sebesar 1,288%, kadar abu sebesar 0,922%, zat terbang sebesar 0,046%, nilai kalor sebesar 1905,624 kal/gram, dan karbon terikat 2,256%. Karakteristik biobriket yang memenuhi standar briket SNI 01-6235-2000 adalah nilai kadar air (<8%).

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui ketersediaan Ruang Terbuka Hijau (RTH)yang ada di Kota Serang. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa luas RTH Kota Serang masih belum  mencukupi ketentuan Undang-Undang. Total luas RTH pada tahun 2016 adalah sebesar 7361,7  Haatau sekitar 27,6% luas wilayah Pemerintahan Kota Serang sebesar 2.518,9 Ha dipenuhi oleh RTH publik sedangkan sisanya, 4.842,2 Ha, diisi oleh RTH privat. Hanya RTH di dua kecamatan yang memenuhi Permendagri Nomor 1 Tahun 2007 dan Permen PU Nomor 05/PRT/M/2008 yakni kecamatan Kasemen dan Cipocok Jaya. Kecamatan Serang masih kurang 63,22 ha RTH sedangkan Kecamatan Taktakan kurang 284,53 ha. Kecamatan Walantaka dan Kecamatan Curug juga masih kurang masingmasing sebesar 965,44 ha dan 1.192,74 ha. Ruang Terbuka Hijau paling luas di Kota Serang berada diKecamatan Kasemendengan total 3.333,594 Ha atau sekitar 45,28%  dari luas wilayah Kota Serang. Berdasarkan proyeksi, luas RTH yang harus tersedia di Kota Serang berdasar kan jumlah penduduk pada tahun 2016 adalah 1.311ha, 1.336 ha pada tahun 2017, 1.362 ha pada tahun 2018, 1.388 ha pada tahun2019 dan 1.415 ha pada tahun 2020.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh laju alir terhadap kinetikaadsorpsi methylene blue pada karbon aktif.Adsorpsi dilakukan dengan menggunakan karbon aktif dari tempurung kelapa yang teraktivasi oleh NaOH.Karbon aktif diletakkan pada unggun dengan memvariasikan laju alir methylene blue. Variasi laju alir yang digunakan adalah 5 mL/menit, 10 mL/menit dan 15 mL/menit. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan daya serap methylene blue tertinggi yaitu pada laju alir 5 mL/menit, yaitu pada menit ke 100 menghasilkan konsentrasi effluent 5,68 mg/L.

Abstract

This researchintent to analyze the optimization of waste plastics processing industry into a plastic chip products. The plastic waste processing using various types of plastic waste materials obtained through various sources such as scavenger and waste collectors which are they are living around the community, and others source. This study uses a model of maximizing profits based on assumptions by using a simulation of plastic waste processing plan within a year to consider following the prevailing price in the market within the last few years. In addition, to assess the feasibility of processing waste plastics by using parameters such investments Benefit Cost Ratio (BCR), Net Present Value (NPV), Internal Rate of Return (IRR), Payback Period (PP) and Profitability Index (PI). The results of the processing of the data obtained shows that optimizing the processing of plastic waste into plastic count based on the simulation of 3 (three) variables X1, X2 and X3 is the condition where i = 18% where X1 = 100% and X2 and X3 = 0%, with gains in the amount of USD 127 604 565.

Abstract

The uninhabited housing situation is very vulnerable to the existence of theft activities. Anticipation using a variety of door locking system of the house also often can be overcome by various the perpetrators of theft. Information technology today is inseparable from the development of internet communication technology. The Internet today are an essential part of every society as a means of Informastion Source. Therefore, there needs to be integration of home security system which can be integrated with internet based information system as one of innovation in security system. The research objective is the design and manufacture of sensor-based home security system as a passive infrared motion detectors integrated with Internet-based information system with the concept of the Internet of things (IoTs). The research used Passive Infra Red Sensor as input data, Arduino Uno Microcontroller as Sensor Data Processor and Ethernet as Web Server. The research resulted in a series of home security information system prototype based internet information and has successfully accessed through an Internet browser in the form of home security information to detect the presence of an intruder without permission remotely via the internet.

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi yang sangat pesat seperti sekarang ini, baik di instansi pemerintah maupun swasta dituntut untuk dapat mengikuti serta mengetahui berkembangnya arus informasi dalam segala bidang khususnya dalam bidang komputer.Perubahan ini juga telah merubah cara pandang setiaporang dalam melakukan berbagai kegiatan, salah satunya adalah pada kegiatan instansi pemerintah dalam penyelenggaraan pelayanan administrasi gampong yang merupakan sub sistem dari sistem administrasi negara.Era modern sekarang ini, pesatnya perkembangan teknologi menuntut intansi-intansi pemerintahan di tingkat gampong harus menerapkan sebuah pengolahan data yang terkomputerisasi.Sistem informasi administrasi gampong dimaksudkan untuk meningkatkan efisiensi dalam hal pelayanan masyarakat khususnya dibidang administrasi, sebagai contoh pembuatan surat pernyataan, surat kelahiran, surat kematian, surat belum menikah, surat keterangan tidak mampu, surat berkelakuan baik, surat keterangan usaha, dan surat domisili.Setelah dilakukan penelitian, maka sistem manajemen administrasi gampongsudah dapat diterapkan menggunakan komputerisasi sehingga prosesnya sangat cepat dan untuk pengarsipan juga mudah.

Abstract

Bioarang is charcoal (one type of fuel) made from various kinds of biological materials, for example wood, twigs, leaves, grass that can be carbonized. biobriquette is an alternative energy  substitute for fuel produced from organic materials or agricultural waste (biomass) that is underutilized, especially durian shell waste. This study aims to look at the comparison of the quality characteristics of the durian shell biobriquette with the type of charcoal based on the percentage of volatile matter.  The making of this biobriquette uses 1: 2 pati janeng from the biobriquette weight, the biobriquette particle size is 80 mesh, the cylindrical biobriquette form. The results showed that the biobriquette produced had met the fuel quality standards for households. Level biobriquette of durian shell volatile matter is obtained 6%, and for the type of volatile matter charcoal is 5%. Based on the quality standard for volatile matter is a maximum of 15%. Volatile matter test for biobriquette durian shell obtained can be used as an environmentally friendly fuel.
