Abstract

This research is a series of research in terms of getting the outside tire material is good. At this peneltian look for the characteristics of rubber compounds based on variations in the composition of the sulfur: 3, 3.5, and 4 phr, called compounds 1, 2 and 3 of his was done to get the tensile strength and keausannya. The method does is to do a test and tensile test of wear, which then conducted benchmarking with a basic compound manufacturer. Rubber materials processed by mixing rubber taken from ala, artificial rubber and rubber kompo manufacturer. The results obtained from tensile testing is testing the tensile thermal variation 1, 2, 3 and compounds the manufacturer to load the smallest average pull on compound 1 with load per unit area of 13.46 N/mm2 or 403.191 N and highest on the compound manufacturer with 18.06 load N/mm2 or 542.493 N. As for the increase of the average length of the smallest thermal variations on 1 of 6.25 mm and the largest manufacturer of compound 13 mm. Judging from the magnitude of the tensile test, thermal variation 3 have results that come close to the factory compound. Testing the wear and tear of a dry path obtained, the manufacturer of the compound has the lowest wear namely 11.667 mm3/s. On the same test, thermal and thermal variation 1 Variation 2 have a high wear value i.e. each mm3/21.667 seconds and 18.333 mm3/s. While thermal variation 3 has a value close to the factory compound wear namely mm3/13.333 seconds. On a wet path testing, the manufacturer of the compound has the lowest wear namely 3.333 mm3/s. On the same test, thermal variation 1 has a high wear and tear that is 10 mm3/s. While the thermal variations 3 and 4 compounds have almost the same wear value i.e. each mm3/6.667 seconds and 5 mm3/s.

Abstract

In 2013, most of electricity demand of South and West Sulawesi Power System was fulfilled by fossil fuel power plants. The use of fossil fuel not only leads to high operational cost, but also emits high amount of carbon. To control carbon emission Kyoto Protocol and Peraturan Presiden emphasize that the generation expansion has to consider the environmental aspect and economic aspect. In order to obtain an efficient plan with low carbon emission, this research conduct multi-objective optimization of power generation expansion in South and West Sulawesi power system.        The optimization was conducted by combining Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO) method and Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP). The optimization in this research was consisted of cost and carbon emission function. Cost function itself was divided into three items. The items are capital cost of power plant, operation and maintenance cost, and investment cost of transmission line. To obtain the investment of transmission line, transmission expansion plant considering power losses (TEP) was performed first. The aim of TEP is to determine which transmission line should be added into the power system.         The result of simulation and priority analysis shows that A6 is an efficient power plant expansion planning that fulfill environmental and economic aspect. Planning A6 is consisted of PLTA (996 MW), PLTMG (71 MW), PLTU (34 MW) and PLTGU (737 MW). Investment cost of transmission line, operational cost of power plant and investment cost of new power plant are Rp351.000.000.000, Rp4.000.000.000, and Rp.60.596.000.000.000 respectively. The accumulation of carbon emission for 5 periods by applying plan A6 is 651 tons.

Abstract

penelitian ini adalah untuk mengembangkan sistem informasi pada Dinas Kesehatan Kabupaten Luwu yang dapat mempercepat dan mempermudah distribusi informasi lebih optimal. Pengolahan informasi yang ada di Dinas Kesehatan Kabupaten Luwu saat ini masih terdapat banyak kekurangan pada sistemnya, Dinas Kesehatan Kabupaten Luwu selain menyediakan layanan konsultasi kesehatan juga menyiapkan informasi produk tentang layanan kesehatan. Dalam perancangan ini menggunakan bahasa pemrograman PHP dan database MySQL. Metode pengujian yang digunakan adadalah metode pengujian white box. Berdasarkan hasil implementasi dan pengujian tersebut dengan menggunakan white box terbukti bahwa sistem informasi Dinas Kesehatan Kabupaten Luwu yang telah dibuat bebas dari kesalahan. Dengan adanya fasilitas yang disediakan oleh Internet, maka kami memberikan solusi kepada Dinas Kesehatan Kabupaten Luwu  dengan membangun sebuah Web Site. Agar masyarakat dapat berkonsultasi melalui fasilitas internet dan bisa mengakses informasi kesehatan sehingga informasi yang didapatkan  efisien dan cepat. Desain WEB ini diharapkan dapat bermanfaat bagi penulis  dan  Dinas Kesehatan Kabupaten Luwu khususnya. Serta dapat membantu masyarakat  dalam mencari infomasi yang semakin hari semakin berkembang khususnya dalam bidang Ilmu dan Teknologi (IT) Internet/intranet

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to know the Basic programming learning process that takes place before using the interactive E-book, knowing the process of developing learning materials interactive E-book, find out kevalidan, practicality, and the effectiveness of Interactive E-book developed. The research method used was Research and Development with the development model DDD-E consists of four phases, namely decide, design, develop, and evaluate. The results showed that the process of learning basic programming using learning materials based printed, educators have used LCD in the learning process to display a simulation programming, and overall the learners use personal laptops during the learning process takes place the initial stages of the development process is determining the objectives and the learning material, the next stages in designing competency map material, flowchart, interface, and stroryboard, continued with the process of making learning materials interactive E-book with 3D software, camtasia, PageFlip balabolka, ispring and adobe flash, the last stages evaluating learning materials is interactive E-book that has been developed is declared invalid by the validator expert content and media with very valid criteria, the average response of learners based on test performed very well, the mean response of educators against materials interactive E-book very good, the percentage of ketuntasan tests effective learners learning results, the average percentage of the observation activities of learners and educators in using learning materials interactive E-book is very active.

Abstract

Permasalahan dalam penelitian ini adalah (1) Bagaimana mengembangkan model pembelajaran Praktikum Mikrokontroler berbasis Kit Arduino-Uno pada mata kuliah Mikrokontroler Program Studi Teknik Elektro di Universitas Patria Artha Makassar dan (2) Bagaimana efektivitas hasil desain bahan belajar/modul dan media Praktikum Mikrokontroler berbasis Kit Arduino-Uno pada mata kuliah Mikrokontroler Program Studi Teknik Elektro di Universitas Patria Artha Makassar. Model pengembangan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini mengacu pada model pengembangan ADDIE yang dilakukan melalui beberapa tahapan yakni (1) analisis, (2) design (3) development, (4) implementation, dan (5) evaluation. Model pembelajaran praktikum  berbasis KIT Mikrokontroler Arduino-Uno yang telah dikembangkan, divalidasi oleh dua orang ahli dan mengalami revisi sehingga mendapatkan hasil yang layak untuk digunakan. Uji coba dilakukan sebanyak dua kali yakni uji coba pada tahap pengembangan pertama dan uji coba pada tahap pengembangan kedua. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa model pembelajaran praktikum berbasis KIT Mikrokontroler Arduino-Uno yang dikembangkan setelah dilakukan proses validasi maka model pembelajaran praktikum tersebut dinyatakan valid. Model pembelajaran praktikum berbasis KIT Mikrokontroler Arduino-Uno dikatakan praktis karena seluruh aspek dalam pembelajaran berada pada kategori terlaksana. Model pembelajaran  Praktikum berbasis KIT Mikrokontroler Arduino-Uno dikatakan efektif karena telah memenuhi kriteria keefektifan, dengan hasil : (1) memenuhi syarat kevalidan, (2) aktivitas mahasiswa terlaksana sepenuhnya, (3) aktivitas dosen terlaksana sepenuhnya, dan (4) Mahasiswa memberikan respon yang positif terhadap Model pemebelajaran praktikum dan media KIT Mikrokontroler Arduino-Uno yang dikembangkan.

Abstract

Penelitian Simuasi Fuzzy Logic dalam Menentukan Nilai Hasil Belajar Mahasiswa bertujuan untuk mengetahui nilai hasil belajar mahasiswa dengan metode fuzzy Logic. Metode fuzzy logic yang digunakan yaitu model mamdani dengan tipe MISO (Multi Input single Output). Aplikasi yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu menggunakan software Matlab dengan toolbox fuzzy. Dalam penelitian ini terdiri dari 4 input yaitu kriteria –kriteria penilaian yang terdiri dari kehadiran, tugas, UTS, dan UAS. Adapun untuk variabel output adalah nilai hasil belajar mahasiswa. Tahapan pada metode fuzzy logic terdiri dari penentuan variabel sistem, Strategi Fuzzyfikasi, Strategi inferensi, Strategi Defuzzifikasi, dan menampilkan surface viewer. Hasil penelitian ini adaah suatu Aplikasi yang diharapkan mampu membantu dosen dalam melakukan penilaian terhadap hasil belajar mahasiswa pada universitas cokroaminoto palopo.

Abstract

This paper discuss Intelligent Transportation System (ITS) which is incorporated with computer vision techniques in recognition of vehicles for typical fast growth cities in development countries. Two algorithm are combined i.e. Harris and Edge Prewitt to increase accuration of vehicles’ detection. Verification is conducted using Support Vector Machine (SVM) and Histograms of Oriented Gradiens (HOG) as its descriptor. Six pieces of experimental videos from a wide variety of road conditions are used for processing. It shows that  percentage average for sensitivity is 75.73%, specificity 90.1% precision 56.0% and with accuration of 77.73%.

Abstract

In the electric power system, the short-circuit study is essential for planning, designing and extending the electrical system. The data obtained from this calculation will be used to determine busbar tuning and power breaker capacity. The circuit breaker selection for the electrical power system depends not only on the current flowing in the circuit breaker in a normal working state but also on the maximum current that may flow over time and on the current which may have to be decided at the channel voltage where the breaker is located. Disturbance to the electrical system causes the operation of relays and power breakers to decide which parts are experiencing interference. The three phase short circuit is considered to be the interference with the largest disturbance current compared to other interference. While the one-phase short circuit to the ground is a common disorder, especially in the airways. The objective of this research is to analyze the short circuit current of power system of South and West Sulawesi with the condition of the system working at peak load and condition when all the system generator operate. The rail impedance matrix method is used in the calculation of the noise current with the matlab computation tool. Compared with the three-phase interference, the larger one-phase current to the ground is 1.065 times three phase short circuit for maximum peak load state, and 1,233 times three phase short circuit for all active generators.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengembangkan aplikasi mobile learning pada handphone dengan menggunakan teknologi java programming dengan software NetBeans IDE 7.2. Aplikasi ini di buat seperti halnya media pembelajaran yang beroperasi pada Personal Computer (PC) atau Laptop, dengan menyesuaikan kemampuan spesifikasi perangkat mobile seperti kapasistas Prosesor, RAM dan ROM handphone. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode penelitian pengembangan (research and development), dengan desain pengembangan yang dipilih adalah menggunakan Model Dick dan Carey dengan luaran utama yang akan dihasilkan dalam penelitian berupa sebuah perangkat lunak, maka dalam proses pengembangan media dilengkapi dengan metode khusus pengembangan perangkat lunak dengan menggunakan metode Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) dan menyesuaikan dengan Waterfall-based Model.Tahap perancangan aplikasi disesuiakn dengan kerangka kerja pengembangan system informasi dengan SDLC, yaitu dimulai dengan tahapan perencanaan, Analsisi, Perancangan, imlementasi, Pengujuan dan Pemeliharaan, Permodelan aplikasi mobile learning ini menggunakan design diagram diagram UML (Unified Modelling Language) berupa Use case diagram, Activity diagram, Diagram Sequensial. Hasil Rancangan system aplikasi mobile learning yang telah dibuat dan di compiler berupa file JAR (tipe file untuk aplikasi handphone) kemudian di analisis menggunakan software NetBeans IDE 7.2 dengan menggunakan fitur-fitur pada software Netbeans yaitu JvVM (Java visualVirtual Mesin) atau MicroEmulator dan JMMC (Java Monitoring & Management Console).
