Abstract

Workload, problem management and task completion in forestry are the work entrusted to the Forestry Extension Workers. In the highly complex condition of forestry problems, Forestry Extension Workers are needed to bridge and outline the problems and to prevent the emergence of deeper, more widespread and prolonged problems.The problems served as the background for the writer to conduct the study in the thesis completion in the Master of Management Program. The problems are related to the effects of competence, compensation and career development factors of the Forestry Extension Workers working in the Ministry of Environment and Forestry and the performance expected to achieve the completion of forestry extension works. The data analysis used to explain the effects of competence, compensation and career development and the performance of Forestry Extension Workers was the Structural Equation Model (SEM) with Smart PLS. Based on the estimations and t-values, it can be concluded that the exogenous variables of compensation and career development affect the endogenous latent factor of the performance of Forestry Extension workers (?), whereas competence has no effect on the performance of Forestry Extension Workers.

Abstract

The study conducted at The Center for Plant Conservation Bogor Botanical Garden, which is the center for botanical research under the Indonesian Institute of Science (LIPI). Sampling method used is Incidental Sampling Methods. The number of respondence in this study were 90 respondents, all of them were employees of The Center for Plant Conservation Bogor Botanical Garden. Data were analyzed using the Path Analysis with computer program of IBM SPSS Statistics Version 22. The result of this research has shown that leadership style has positive effect (influence) on Job satisfaction. Job satisfaction has positive effect on employee’s performance. Leadership style has positive effect on employee’s performance. Organization culture has negative effect on job satisfaction and employee’s performance. Job satisfaction has contributes positively on employee’s performance.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji perbedaan antara auditor independen di Kantor Akuntan Publik yang melakukan fraud dan tidak melakukan fraud terkait teori fraud triangle yaitu tekanan (pressure), kesempatan (opportunity), dan rasionalisasi atau pembenaran (rationalization). Data penelitian ini diperoleh dari kuesioner (primer) dengan mengambil responden sebanyak 50 auditor independen pada Kantor Akuntan Publik di Jakarta Timur. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan uji bedapaired sample t-test. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa, terdapat perbedaan terkait tekanan (pressure) antara auditor independen yang melakukan fraud dan tidak melakukan fraud di Kantor Akuntan Publik, tidak terdapat perbedaan terkait kesempatan (opportunity) antara auditor independen yang melakukan fraud dan tidak melakukan fraud di Kantor Akuntan Publik, terdapat perbedaan terkait rasionalisasi atau pembenaran (rationalization) antara auditor independen yang melakukan fraud dan tidak melakukan fraud di Kantor Akuntan Publik.

Abstract

This study was conducted to determine whether the Quality of Work Life and Organizational Commitment significant impact either partially or simultaneously to Work Motivation employee District Office Cakung East Jakarta Administration City. The population in this study were employees of the Office of Cakung Sub-district with a total sample of 66 employees. Using quantitative research by analyzing primary data questionnaire respondents parametric statistics to determine the effect partially or simultaneously from the independent variables on the dependent. The study states that there is significant influence and a positive correlation and direction of variables Quality of Work Life and Commitment Work partially or simultaneously to increase motivation Employee Work, although still weak, so it can be input for the organization to further improve aspects-aspects Quality of Work Life employee and his organizations commitment to working motivation of employees in the organization can be better.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: (1) Memahami unsur-unsur modal sosial yang operasional dalam pemberdayaan masyarakat, (2) Menganalisis modal sosial dalam proses-proses pemberdayaan masyarakat melalui Posdaya. Penelitian dilaksanakan di Kabupaten Bogor, Kota Bogor, Kabupaten Cianjur, dan Sukabumi dengan pendekatan kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Data yang digunakan adalah data sekunder dan data primer menggunakan wawancara terstruktur kepada 30 posdaya, pengamatan dan diskusi kelompok terfokus. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan: (1) unsur-unsur pembentuk modal sosial yang terbangun di posdaya diantaranya adalah partisipasi dalam komunitas, kepercayaan (trust), kegotongroyongan dan keswadayaan, (2) peningkatan kinerja posdaya dan pemberdayaan masyarakat dapat dilaksanakan apabila modal sosial dan kewirausahaan berkembang dengan baik.

Abstract

Kajian ini bertujuan untuk menjelaskan pengupahan ditinjau dari pengusaha, pekerja dan pemerintah menurut Peraturan Pemerintah No. 78 Tahun 2015.Kajian ini menggunakan literatur dengan dokumen atau data yang diperoleh dari laporan studi, instansi pemerintahan yang terkait, serta dokumen lain yang relevan. Berdasarkan hasil pembahasan diperoleh temuan bahwa formulai upah dilakukan secara tripartit antara pengusaha, pemerintah dan serikat buruh untuk mencapaii kesepakatan akan tingkat upah yang adil bagi semua pihak, terutama adil buat buruh. Peraturan Pemerintah (PP) Nomor 78/2015 tentang Pengupahan disebutkan, bahwa kebijakan pengupahan diarahkan untuk pencapaian penghasilan yang memenuhi penghidupan yang layak bagi pekerja/buruh. Formulasi kebijakan pengupahan dirumuskan tingkat upah yang menjadi dasar pengupahan setiap daerah. Oleh karena itu besaran tingkat upah masing-masing daerah kabupaten/kota berbeda. Hal ini disesuaikan berdasarkan kemampuan ekonomi makro setiap daerah. Selain itu survei Kebutuhan Hidup Layak (KHL) ternyata hanya merupakan bahan pertimbangan atau rekomendasi saja dalam menentukan besaran upah dan tidak ditetapkan sepenuhnya. Inilah yang membuat survei KHL masih sangat lemah.

Abstract

The aims of study were carried out the review of the influence in organizational culture and leadership style on job satisfaction to improve separately the performance of educational staff in the IPB and to determine which variables have the most dominant influence. Also, to study the influence of organizational culture, leadership style and job satisfaction in the performance of education personnel in IPB. The Primary data in this study were obtained from questionnaires distributed to respondents (staff) ini the Bureau, the Office and the Directorate of IPB. Data acquisition was applied to the 168 speakers, using tools like questionnaire and finally, analyzed statistically elaborated by Path Analysis (two substructures contained in the Statistical Package for Social Science (SPSS) version 21).Result of the analysis showed a direct influence of organizational culture on employee performance. Leadership style has no effect on employee performance: job statisfaction effects the performance of employees. Organizational culture has influence on job satisfaction and leadership style influence on job satisfaction and positive influence.
