Abstract

The need to measure the quality of learning becomes very significant when the quality of learning is still low. This also applies to the quality of learning at the highest level. The quality of lecturer learning in class is often not in accordance with what it should be, one of the constraints of this low quality is that the quality of lecturer learning is not accurately measured. Data mining is used in this research to map the quality of lecturer learning based on its cluster, namely Clustering, It is hoped that universities can measure the quality of learning from their lecturers accurately. From this research, students with low social studies tend to value lecturers with low grades; conversely students with high social studies tend to judge lecturers with high enough grades. The k-Means algorithm is accurate enough to be used in clustering the quality of lecturer learning based on grades and results of student questionnaires.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to select the best anti-mosquito lotion based on consumers by utilizing decision support system techniques. The method used is the Simple Multi Attribute Rating Technique (SMART). The research data were obtained by observing, interviewing and administering random questionnaires to 150 respondents. The location of the study was conducted in Pondok Cina, Beji District, Depok City, West Java. The results of the questionnaire will be processed first by using Microsoft Excel before using the SMART method in completion. From the questionnaire distribution, several assessment criteria were obtained in the selection of anti-mosquito lotions, namely: Product Safety (C1), Price (C2), Product Quality (C3), Halal Label (C4), Product Health. While the alternatives used in the selection of anti-mosquito lotions based on observations, interviews and questionnaires are: Soffel (A1), Lavenda (A2), Caladine (A3), Autan (A4) and Neem Lotion (A5). the results of the calculation of the SMART method obtained alternative Autan (A4) as the best alternative for anti-mosquito lotion with a value (48.31). The results of the election can be used as information for users of anti-mosquito lotions.

Abstract

A population is a group of individuals who occupy or live in a place or area that interacts with one another. Because the population has a very important role in an area, it is important to make predictions to find out how much the level of increase or descent of the population in an area, especially in Pematangsiantar. Therefore this research was conducted. This study uses population data in 8 Sub-Districts in Pematangsiantar. Data was taken from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) of Pematangsiantar city in 2011-2017. The method used is the Artificial Neural Network (ANN) Backpropagation. These data will be processed into 2 parts namely training data and Testing data. This research will use 5 architectural models namely, 3-25-1, 3-30-1, 3-45-1, 3-54-1 and 3-68-1. From these 5 architectural models, after analysis, models 3-45-1 were chosen as the best models with epoch 553 values, MSE training 0,0001108768, MSE testing 0.0012355953 and an accuracy rate of 88%. The results of this paper are expected to be widely useful, especially for academics as further research material, especially those related to population in Pematangsiantar, because this research is still limited to discussing the level of accuracy, not prediction results.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze the priority determination of customer complaints by using ranking techniques in decision support systems. Data sources were obtained from PDAM Tirtauli Pematangsiantar by conducting interviews and direct observation. Data obtained directly at PDAM Tirtauli Pematangsiantar. The technique used is the AHP (Analytical Hierarchy Process) method. The assessment criteria used are: Dead Air (K1), Pipeline Damage (K2), Customer Damage Pipeline (K3) and Damage Meter (K4). The results of the study were obtained from 4 criteria, obtained "Dead Water" (K1) with a value (0.502) as the first rank, and "Service pipe damage" (K2) as the second rank.

Abstract

The rapid development of information and communication technology is directly proportional to the community's need for fast and accurate information, especially the development of technology on mobile phones (cellphones) that present smartphones with various sophisticated features. Smartphones are becoming a necessity for society today not only as a communication device, but also as a source of information. In general, the community carries out daily financial management in the traditional way by taking notes using a writing instrument, where the paper media as its documentation and the help of a calculating tool is a calculator to calculate financial income and expenditure. Constraints that occur are that the public needs stationery to do every recording of transactions that are carried out every day. So it requires quite a lot of money, the time required will take a long time to record financial transactions that are carried out every day by the process of writing on paper media, in addition to that the public is also often confused by financial records that are lost or damaged due to paper documents. This Mobile Based Daily Financial Registration Application aims to help its users in financial management using a mobile device, so that users can expect to be able to manage their finances optimally, both income and expenditure. As a result of the application, the public can enter the daily money in and daily money out data along with their information and then the data will be displayed on the front page of the application menu, in addition to the data that has been entered can also be edited and deleted as needed and accompanied by making features money entry data reports and money out data in the form of graphs and pdfs.

Abstract

Unemployment is a serious social and economic problem faced by the Pematangsiantar City government, high unemployment is also caused by the low education and skills of the workforce. To be able to reduce the number of unemployed, especially in the city of Pematangsiantar, it is necessary to predict the unemployment rate based on urban villages in the three sub-districts of the city of Pematangsiantar, so that the government has a policy so that it can tackle the number of unemployed. The data used in this study are unemployment data based on 19 urban areas from 2013-2017 in 3 districts in Pematangsiantar City. Data sources were obtained from the Pematangsiantar 03 / SS Koramil Office. The research method used is Backpropagation Artificial Neural Network. Data analysis was performed with backpropagation algorithm using Matlab. There are 5 network architecture used, namely 2-35-1, 2-38-1, 2-41-1, 2-43-1, 2-46-1 with the best model is 2-38-1 which produces accuracy by 79%. Thus this model is good enough to be used to predict the unemployment rate based on wards in 3 sub-districts in the city of Pematangsiantar.

Abstract

The progress and development of information technology in this globalization era is growing rapidly, one of which is the internet. Internet can facilitate the public in getting information in various ways, one of which is information about housing promotion. Home is a primary need which must be fulfilled by every human being, family and even an organization. The purpose of this study is to design a website-based mortgage promotion information system (case study: PT. Mulia Indah Permatasari). The development model of this system is waterfall model. As for the workings of the system created, the components that support the making of this system is this system uses the XAMPP software as a local server, MySQL as the database and the programming language used is PHP.

Abstract

Sales of e-commerce in Indonesia are currently experiencing a pretty good increase by starting to switch sales that are done traditionally or offline to online sales using the use of internet media to facilitate trade transactions between sellers and buyers can be done anywhere and anytime. In this study using the K-means clustering method algorithm. The data source used in this study is based on sales using e-commerce based on provinces in Indonesia in 2018. The criteria used in the calculation are divided into 3 clusters, namely seller, reseller and dropship. Centroid data for cluster 1 = 68.30,33,58,4.95 namely Aceh, Riau, West Kalimantan, East Kalimantan, and Maluku. Centroid data for cluster 2 = 78.58,22,25.4,22 i.e. North Sumatra, West Sumatra, Jambi, Bangka Belitung Islands, D.K.I Jakarta, Central Java, East Java, Banten, Bali, Central Kalimantan, South Kalimantan, South Sulawesi and Papua  and Centroid data for cluster 3 = 86.36,13.34,4.38 namely South Sumatra, Bengkulu, Lampung, Riau Islands, West Java, D.I Jogyakarta, West Nusa Tenggara, East Nusa Tenggara, North Kalimantan, Central Sulawesi, Gorontalo, West Sulawesi, North Maluku and West Papua.

Abstract

This study aims to predict the age (life expectancy) of the world's population. This research is the development of research that has been done before. But in this study only to get the best architectural model to predict the age (life expectancy) of the world's population, using the Cyclical Order method. Whereas in this follow-up research, it will produce forecasting in the form of age (life expectancy) of the population in the world based on a model that has been obtained from previous research. The research data is the age data (life expectancy) of the world's population from the United Nations: "World Population Prospect: The 2010 Revision Population Database". This study uses 5 architectural models including: 3-5-1, 3-8-1, 3-10-1, 3-5-8-1 and 3-5-10-1. Of the 5 models used, architectural models 3-5-10-1 are the best with an accuracy of 97%, the value of MSE training is 0,0009979400 and MSE testing is 0,0008358919. Forecasting results from this study are expected to be a reference for governments in the world, especially Indonesia to pay more attention to the level of health and well-being of its population so that the level of life of the population is getting better and higher.

Abstract

>Nowadays, there are many learning media that have been developed by many programmers either based on mobile or not have became the needs and viewed as a normal situation in education activity. However, there are many learning media in the market that used by many users are still have many problems on it, such as learning media are not able to adjust to the learning problems needed that are facing in higher education. For this reason this research was conducted to create an Android app that applies the concept of Problem Based Learning in order to produce a mobile learning media so that it is expected to be able to improve the achievements of students in schools because it is more effective and efficient.
