CANTILEVER merupakan jurnal penelitian dan kajian teknik sipil yang menyajikan hasil-hasil penelitian di bidang struktur, transportasi, pengembangan sumberdaya air, geoteknik, manajemen infrastruktur, dan rekayasa lingkungan serta arsitektur. Cantilever pertama kali diterbitkan pada tahun 2006 dalam versi cetak. Sejak tahun 2015, cantilever diterbitkan baik dalam versi cetak maupun online (e-journal). Jurnal ini dikelola dan diterbitkan oleh Jurusan Teknik Sipil Fakultas Teknik Universitas Sriwijaya. Cantilever terbit 2 (dua) kali dalam setahun, yaitu pada April dan Oktober.

Abstract

In big cities like Palembang, garbage is a source of waste from the community with a fairly abundant volume. Garbage can come from various modes of use like something that is no longer useful because it is damaged. In achieving the development or improvement of waste management system it is necessary to know the characteristics of waste generating sources include waste generation. The purpose of this study is to calculate the amount of waste generated by the housing and non-housing sector and to analyze the relationship between waste generation between housing types with correlation analysis. This research method refers to SNI 19-3964-1994 with 100 samples of housing waste and 120 samples of non housing waste that used purposive sampling. The Result of this research : in waste generation housing type of organic waste is generated by non-permanent housing, while the type of non-organic waste is generated by the type of luxury permanent housing. For non-housing waste generation waste type of organic waste is more generated by the market sector while for non-organic waste generated by the sector of shops. From the result of the weight correlation test of waste generation, it is found that non permanent and permanent waste generation has strong correlation to permanent housing waste. From the results of Anova One Way test of weight of waste generation obtained that the weight value of waste generation for semi-permanent housing did not experience a significant difference to other types of housing.

Abstract

Landslides is estimated to increase in the future as the impact of climate change, especially in changing of precipitation patterns, both of intensity and duration. Landslides are influenced by the rainfall duration that has a long duration and in infiltration capacity. The effect of infiltration of ground water causes volumetric water content increases and groundwater table recharge, which converts unsaturated soils become saturated soil. The longer infiltration causes soil cohesion decrease which is an indication of soil strenght decrease. It can be described by the relationship between the IDF(Intensity-Duration Frequency) curve, Hydraulic Conductivity curve, Soil Water Characteristic curve of slope stability analysis. This research will model the slope stability conditions at baseline (condition 30 years back) and when the projection (condition 30 years future) using the program SLOPE/w.

Abstract

Penggunaan transportasi pribadi di kota Palembang perlu dikurangi untuk mengatasi masalah kemacetan, salah satunya dengan mengunakan transportasi umum dalam melakukan perjalanan. Ada dua jenis transportasi umum di kota Palembang, yaitu transportasi umum konvensional dan transportasi umum online. Pemilihan transportasi umum dapat dipengaruhi oleh beberapa kriteria, yaitu kriteria aman, nyaman, biaya, waktu, dan kemudahan. Penelitian ini diharapkan bermanfaat untuk mengetahui kriteria yang mempengaruhi pemilihan moda transportasi umum di kota Palembang, serta mengetahui transportasi umum apa yang dipilih berdasarkan kriteria yang telah ditentukan. Hasil survei dan hasil pengolahan data menggunakan metode Analytical Hierarchy Process menunjukkan bahwa kriteria aman menjadi prioritas masyarakat kota Palembang dalam melakukan perjalanan dengan bobot sebesar 27,5%, kemudian kriteria nyaman (20%), kriteria waktu (18,7%), kriteria kemudahan (17%), dan kriteria biaya (16,8%). Berdasarkan kriteria yang ditentukan, transportasi umum online menjadi prioritas masyrakat dalam memilih moda transportasi umum dengan bobot sebesar 58,80% dan transportasi umum konvensional (41,20%). Dari penelitian ini juga mendapatkan hasil analisis sensitivitas terhadap pemilihan moda transportasi umum. Hasil analisis sensitivitas yang telah dilakukan menunjukkan bahwa transportasi umum online masih menjadi prioritas dalam pemilihan moda transportasi umum di kota Palembang.

Abstract

Occupational Safety and Health (K3) issues in Indonesia are still often neglected. This is because all parties involved in the construction project from the highest level of project leader to the lowest level such as rough labor, still pay less attention on the Occupational Safety and Health (K3) in every stage of construction work. In this research will be investigated the occupational accident risk, occupational accident risk assessment, and occupational accident risk management, so it can be proposed mechanism of occupational accident risk control at construction project of Musi Bridge VI Palembang. Occupational accident risk identified through interviews and observation. Risk assessment is determined by questionnaire. Risk assessment refers to a method of AS / NZS 4360: 2004 to determine the level of risk. Risk control using Job Safety Analysis (JSA). Data processing shows that there are 64 occupational injury risks, i.e., 13 low risk, 47 medium risk, and 4 high risk. It can be concluded that the highest risk factor for the workers is inhaled the welding smoke with the risk index of 16. Workers are required to use PPE in accordance with the type of work, strict supervision of workers in the usage of PPE, checking the work environment (safety patrol) on a regular basis, safety talk every week, installation of safety signs and worker’s health inspection.

Abstract

Lemabang Market is located at a crowded junction in Palembang city, which connect four streets, namely Jl. Yos Sudarso, Jl. Jendral Bambang Utoyo, Jl. RE. Martadinata, and Jl. Ratu Sianum. The intersection has traffic signals, but no traffic signs. The condition of the four approaching roads are narrow. Jl. RE Martadinata and Jl. Yos Sudarso have heavy traffic volume, while Jl. Jendral Bambang Utoyo and Jl. Ratu Sianum have less traffic. This study is aimed to evaluate the performance of the intersection, the existing condition of the traffic, and analyze several alternative traffic arrangements by creating some alternative solutions by means of VISSIM 8. The traffic counting survey was done, as well as inventory survey for road and intersection of Lemabang. The result of simulation model shows that the improvement of median, road geometric and remove the blocking in the middle of junction give better performance in alternative 1 and alternative 2.

Abstract

One of the main problem building civil engineering standing on a land is an the size of the could not estimated by definite and time that cannot be predicted properly.That is why planning structure earthquake resistant the further development of the until now.3 (three) parameter important in earthquake sni 03-1726-2012 namely the ss, an undergraduate degree, and klafikasi land.Zone earthquake in the city of palembang having 2 (two) klafikasi land the land moderate and the soft land, where parameter the acceleration of the bedrock maximum to soil and he the ss = 0.259 and an undergraduate degree = 0.163), and the soft land of (the ss = 0.282 and an undergraduate degree = 0.173).On the ground and the acceleration of the bedrock maximum in kecamatan ilir east ii (the ss = 0.259 and an undergraduate degree = 0.163) and acceleration the bedrock minimum in kecamatan sako (the ss = 0.251 and an undergraduate degree = 0.160).On soft ground the acceleration of the bedrock maximum in kecamatan kertapati (the ss = 0.288 and an undergraduate degree = 0.164) and acceleration the bedrock (the ss and an undergraduate degree) minimum in kecamatan ilir east ii (the ss = 0.262 and an undergraduate degree = 0.164).
