Abstract

New admissions is a routine activity carried out by all universities in Indonesia each year. These activities may be regarded as the starting point of the search process for new students STMIK Pringsewu quality. At this time the data processing for selecting new students achievement lane STMIK Pringsewu still using Microsoft Excel. The processing of value requires a long time, especially in the process of selection and ranking process. Decision support system is the right system to be implemented, because the decision support system can help make decisions based on the same criteria. The method used in this research is the method of TOPSIS (Technique for Order Preference by Similarity to Ideal Solution). Selection of new students STMIK Pringsewu using TOPSIS method. results of a decision support system using the method of TOPSIS (Technique for Order Preference by Similarity to Ideal Solution)to assist and facilitate Universities in determining which students are competent or not get into college STMIK Pringsewu use the path of achievement.

Abstract

The tremendous development of digital technology, it is mandatory to address the security while transmitting information over network in a way that observer couldn’t depict it. Measures to be taken to provide the security by establishing hidden communication using steganography principle which is help to camouflage the secret information in some carrier file such as text, image, audio and video. In this era of hidden data communication, image becoming an effective tool on account of their frequency, capability and accuracy. Image steganography uses an image as a carrier medium to hide the secret data. The main motive of this article is that the uses the combination of frequency domain and optimization method inorder to increasing in robustness. In this article, Integer Wavelet transform is performed into the host image and coefficients have been transformed. ACO optimization algorithm is used to find the optimal coefficients where to hide the data. Furthermore, sample images and information having been demonstrated which proved the increased robustness as well as high level of data embedding capacity.

Abstract

Pringsewu district as a new autonomous region has big potentials in education sector. Currently there are 12 public senior/vocational high schools and 27 private senior/vocational high schools under Education Office of Pringsewu district. There many schools still requiring attentions on school buildings, especially classrooms. To obtain classroom rehabilitation aids, a system to support decision making to determine which school has the right to receive aids from Education Office in Pringsewu district. In implementing system to support decision makings in selection of aid receivers for classroom rehabilitation in senior/vocational high schools by Education Office of Pringsewu district, there are five criteria to use; the physical condition of classroom, number of students, number of teachers and staffs, school income, and status of land ownership of the school. The problem in this research was to find best alternative based on predetermined criteria b using SAW (Simple Additive Weighing). The basic concept of SAW method is to find out weight rating of each alternative in an attribute, and then ranking process is conducted to determine best alternative.

Abstract

This research’s aim is to simplify the school management data, especially in search, storage, and data reports of school by using website at MTs AL-IKHLAS Fajar Bulan, Way Tenong District, Lampung Regency. In making this application, the researchers used PHP and MySQL. Then, the researchers would analyze to extend web-based information system in that school could assist the administration officers, teachers, and students in applying teaching and learning activity. The method were used in this research were interview and observation.  Data collection also used in this research to obtain the required information. The result of this research shows that the use of web-based information system can be a publication in providing a wider range of information to deliver various types of information about that school.

Abstract

One who determines life of a classroom namely mapping scheduling courses especially at college. The process scheduling has included time or schedule of a class of available, room available, lecture who is scheduled for, and schedule for lecturer going to teach. Hopefully with a scheduling it will facilitate the students and teachers in obtaining information lecture schedule. With the emergence of the android application ( is implanted in mobile phones , the public can now use the internet so fast that is based .So with that researchers give one a technology based solutions to build android application .This is because one of the technology has given the functions which may make it easier for students and university lecturers in terms of access to information. In building this application used method of the prototype consisting 2 access namely access user and admin , where module user consisting of modules register , login , scheduling module , while for admin given module login , register and arrangement information scheduling courses both the administration and lecturers .Application made will be integrated with internet so that this program is real-time application.

Abstract

Kinderganten is a second home for a children for about 5 – 7 years, it is accroded from national constitution No.20 year 2003 article 8 about early education for children. Based on it, kinderganten management should be able to coordinate with the parents in order to giving a centralized information to avoiding false information from unresponsible person.  Delivering an Information to the parents is always be an issued whereas the parents is not available to be contacted by the management, for instance when the students go to the kinderganten for the half of day, the management could not contact the parents due to limited communication, therefore the students is going home alone. The teacher also have an issues to communicate with the parents regarding the development of their children, the development of sensor motoric, and the development of social life of their children. Given the background, it need a centered information system based on short message service (SMS)-gateway by using waterfall a method which using Life Cycle Development System. The system which will be develop will help a parents to gathering centered information from Kinderganten Management, therefore, if there is newest information regarding schedule of holiday, event, study, the parents will be informed soon and well.

Abstract

This study aims to apply the Linear Congruent Method (LCM) method using client-server test system, so as to minimize the weakness of examining process and the teacher's mistake in valuation that may occur. LCM method in this research was used to scramble questions data before testing and sent to the Client (Student) by the Server (Teacher) via a TCP/IP Socket. The system was designed through the VB.Net Programming Language. The results showed that by implementing LCM method in test system lead to 100% performance

Abstract

Human activity is now increasing rapidly, causing human beings to often leave home. With such busy activities, someone will have difficulty communicating with his/her electronical equipment at home. Electronical equipment at home can be controlled using internet network and through website called smarthome. The smarthome can facilitate the users in controlling their home electronical appliances such as lights, fans, and so forth. So as to reduce the waste of electricity when users forget to turn off their electronical equipment when they are outside the home or wherever the users are. Smarthome uses a raspberry pi computer that serves as a server that will connect between hardware and software controlled through the website as an interface that users use to enter input and generate output. The making of this web uses Raspbian operating system where the software used is python and HTML. The method used in developing software is waterfall method according to Sommerville. The features on this website are 16 buttons, if the button is green then the electronic equipment is on, and if the button is black then the electronic equipment is off.

Abstract

District Pringsewu is growing that are doing development of various sectors, one of the tourism sectors. Culinary tourism in the District Pringsewu growing quite rapidly, has a lot of standing places that sell a lot of food choices, from street vendors to modern eating places like cafes. Many cafes in the district of Pringsewu would be a separate issue in determining the appropriate location for the new cafe location Suncafe, for it needed a system that could help determine the location of a new cafe. The criteria used in making this decision support system include building area, spacious parking, accessibility, security, distance to the city center, the price of the location, and comfort. Decision support system is made using a simple additive weighting method (SAW) is looking for a weighted sum of the performance of each alternative. While the implementation of the program for decision support system is made by using Delphi 7. Obtained 3 major end result rankings to determine the locations of a new cafe, there are 1. District Pagelaran with a value of 80, 2 District Gadingrejo with a value of 79, and 3 districts Adiluwih with a value of 78.55.

Abstract

Continuing study to a college is a hope for prospective students. However, that is an easy problem, because that needs to be considered in choosing such as, the cost during the lecture took place, facilities, facilities and infrastructure, cooperation between universities and others. By using The Decision Support System, the calculation of all criteria can be able to determine the best college to assist prospective students in selecting and choosding the college. The Decision Support System uses the Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) method. The Decision Support Issues are basically for the selection of alternative actions enabling prospective students in choosing the college which they want, and will produce a best decision for prospective students for continuing in the best collage.
