Abstract

This Article describes how to develope of interactive learning media, that it can be used  in teaching and learning activities in school. This development aims to design an Interactive Learning media that is suitable for Komjardas (Komputer dan Jaringan Dasar) in Vocational Schools. The method used is the Instructional Development Institute (IDI), namely by determining the principle of the system approach which includes three stages including define, develop, and evaluate. Interactive learning media is designed using Lectora Inspire Software, Adobe Flash Cs 6 and Wondershare Quiz Creator that function as makers of evaluation questions. The results of designing instructional media in the form of an application that can be run on all computers / laptops of each student.Keywords: Interactive Learning Media, Instructional Development Institute (IDI).

Abstract

The problem in this study is the existence of learning outcomes under the KKM standard of competence in the Electrical Fundamental students of class X Aiframe Powerplant of Nusantara Ketaping Flight Academy. The purpose of this study was to reveal how much the students' motivation and learning facilities contributed individually or together to the learning outcomes of Electrical Fundamental students of class X. This type of research is descriptive correlational. The study population amounted to 137 and a sample of 58 students in class X Aiframe. The sampling technique is done by proportional random sampling. Data on student learning outcomes are obtained from the curriculum section. While data on student motivation and learning facilities were obtained through questionnaires using a Likert scale that had been tested for validity and reliability. The results of data analysis show that (1) Motivation of students and learning facilities together contribute significantly to learning outcomes 27.88%, (2) Motivation of students contributing significantly to student learning outcomes of class X Electrical Fundamental expertise programs of 13, 91%, (3) Learning facilities contribute significantly to the learning outcomes of class X students. Electrical Fundamental skills program at Nusantara Nusantara Ketaping Vocational High School is 8.64%. So it can be concluded that Motivation of Students and Facilities Learning together or partially contributes to class X student learning outcomes Electrical Fundamental competency standard skills program class X Aiframe Powerplant SMK Nusantara Ketaping Flight.Keywords: Student Motivation, Learning Facilities, Learning Outcomes

Abstract

This research was motivated by a decline in performance on the BTS Batang Marau, which indicates the level of Rx Level, Rx Qual and SQI not meet KPI targets, so the presence of the area around the base stations that do not meet the standard Rx Level to make phone calls (blankspot). The purpose of this study was to determine the performance of GSM 900 and 1800 networks, as well as to improve the performance of base stations Batang Marau Power Link Budget calculation method. This study discusses the improving performance of GSM network at the site decreased performance, where performance is observed through measurement results based on the data drive test. The results of data analysis showed : (1) From the analysis, GSM 1800 already meet KPI targets for Rx Level >95 %, Rx Qual >94 % and SQI >93 %. In GSM 900 results analysis and Rx Qual SQI already meet the target KPI Rx Qual  >94 % and SQI >93 %, while the results of the analysis of Rx level at 09.00 already reached the target KPI >95 %, at 15:00 and 20:00, still has not reached the target KPI <95 %, which indicates the time of measurement using tools Tems Investigation, there are several areas that Rx the level of poor quality. (2) Value Rx level in the area around the base stations are <-95 dBm indicates blankspot area (can lead to a drop call). (3) The estimated increase in performance on the GSM network by the method of link power budget on the BTS Batang Marau  shows 69.3 dBm Rx Level (Good quality) at a distance of 2.5 km, so it can be concluded that the performance of GSM 900 base stations have been increased Batang Marau performances.

Abstract

The design and manufacture of this tool aims to create a fan control system that can detect human presence, and regulate fan air circulation automatically towards the user. The method applied is atmega32 microcontroller which processes input in the form of a PIR sensor. The output component uses a relay to turn on the AC motor, the servo motor to direct the air circulation flow and the 16x2 LCD as a monitor of the fan process. The results of this final project aim to make it easier for humans to operate and control the direction of circulation of fan air flow automatically. Save electricity usage in economic terms because fans only operate when there are users.Keywords: Sensor PIR, Microcontroller, Motor Servo, LCD 16x2.

Abstract

Penggunaan daya listrik selama ini hanya dapat dilihat melalui alat ukur kWh meter yang didistribusikan oleh PLN. Penggunaan kWh meter tidak memberikan informasi tentang berapa besar daya listrik yang digunakan secara real time. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan alat yang dapat memperlihatkan penggunaan daya listrik secara real time, sehingga memudahkan pengguna untuk memantau pemakaian listrik. Tujuan penelitian adalah me-monitoring serta proteksi pada beban listrik menggunakan Arduino Mega 2560 serta android secara real time. Dimana masing-masing ruangan arus dan tegangan dapat dilihat pemakaiannnya, dan dalam pembatasan daya yang dipakai oleh pengguna pada masing-masing ruangan sebesar 2 Ampere (440 Watt), jika melebihi dari batas pemakaian maka sistem akan secara otomatis akan mematikan stop kontak, dan untuk mengaktifkan kembali user dapat melakukan penekanan tombol pada aplikasi sehingga jalur listrik pada ruangan yang dimatikan tadi dapat aktif lagi jalur listriknya. Sistem monitoring dan proteksi pada daya listrik yang dibahas berupa perancangan Hardware dan Software. Untuk perangkat Hardware nya memerlukan rangkaian LCD, rangkaian stop kontak, rangkaian RTC, rangkaian Bluetooth, rangkaian sensor arus, rangkaian sensor tegangan. Perancangan software berupa perancangan Arduino IDE dan aplikasi Bylink.

Abstract

This research is caused by working interest and industrial internship experience have a contribution on the students’ readiness to face the work field. The aim of this research is to show the contribution of working interest and industrial internship experience on individually or together on readiness to enter the work field. The population of this research is 134 students and the sample study is 58 studentsof SMKN 1 Sintuk Toboh Gadang who have done industrial internship experience. The data of this research is collected by questionnaire distributed to the studentswith using a Likert scale that has tested for validity and reliability. The results of data analysis showed that (1) The working interest and industrial internship experience in together contributed significantly onreadiness to enter the workfield of students by 36.8%. (2) The working interest contributed significantly onreadiness to enter the work field by 11.76%, (3) The industrial internship experience contributed significantly onreadiness to enter the work field by 24.01%. It can be concluded that working interest and industrial internship experience contributed on readiness to enter the work field of the XII grades students of SMKN 1 Sintuk Toboh Gadang, the higher of working interest and the good industrial internship experience, then the higher the readiness to enter the work field. Keywords:the working interest, industrial internship experience, readiness to enter the work field

Abstract

Today the use of interactive media to support the learning system so that there is an increase in students towards learning outcomes. Technical in implementing learning media can involve almost all the senses of students. Because the media that has been designed is one of the new learning innovations, combined in it there are videos, images, sounds, and other aspects that support to explain the material so that students are easy to take part in learning. In this design there are several elements that are combined including images, animation, sound, and navigation buttons to facilitate users in using interactive media, this interactive multimedia learning media designed with an attractive appearance is presented in interactive CD so students can learn learning material independently. Keywords: Designing, Interactive Media Learning.

Abstract

Padang State University is a state university that was established in West Sumatra with various faculties including engineering faculties in charge of various departments, one of which is electronics engineering majors consisting of electronics engineering study programs, electronic engineering education programs and informatics and computer engineering education courses . Various assumptions emerged with student admissions from both the regular and independent lane. To answer these assumptions, a study was conducted aimed at looking at a comparison of learning outcomes between regular entry students and regular independent entry pathways through a cumulative grade point average (GPA) which was carried out through hypothesis testing and research prerequisites for data sources obtained from descriptive data on students of educational study programs informatics and computer engineering so that it is known between semester credit (X) with the Grade Point Average (GPA) of significance value 0.409 for regular students and a significance value of 0.258 for independent regular students. It was concluded that there was a Positive and Significant Relationship between Regular students and Independent Selection students Informatics and Computer Engineering Education in 2014-2017 and there were no significant differences in learning outcomes in the January-June 2017 semester, in the form of GPA.Keywords: Student, learning outcomes, comparison, population and sample, hypothesis testing.

Abstract

Aam Cell's management information system aims to provide convenience in customer serving, selling, stock reporting and financial reporting. The selling process is doing by  online system on the web, so customers do not need to the counter to buy the goods. This selling information system is designed using Unified Modeling Language (UML) and Waterfall design method. The proposed design system is described in four UML stages, they are context diagrams, use case diagrams, Activity  Diagrams and class diagrams. While the waterfall design method through the process of planning, modeling, construction, and deployment, which results in continuous support for a complete software. The tools used in developing this system are the PHP (Hypertext Preprocessor) programming language with the Laravel framework, JavaScript, and using the MYSQL database. The security techniques used in designing this system are encryption, session and restrictions on the access rights of each user. With this system, it would be expected to assist customers in buying goods online, can help counter owners in managing goods stock and counter finance, so that the counter owner can estimate the profit correctly.Keywords: Management Information System, Counter, PHP, Laravel, MySQL.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the differences in the Jigsaw type cooperative learning model with the Two Stay Two Stray type on the learning outcomes of the XI Grade Automatic Control System Expertise in the Engineering and Air Conditioning Technique Program at SMK Negeri 3 Pariaman. This type of research is an experiment in the form of Time Series Design that is used in class XI TPTU A with two learning models namely, Jigsaw model and Two Stay Two Stray model. The results showed the average value of the Jigsaw model was 81.67 and the average value of the Two Stay Two Stray model was 76.46. Obtained t test results with significance 0.05 which obtained tcount> t table (3,568> 2,013) which means that Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. Then it can be concluded that there is a difference between the Jigsaw type cooperative learning model with the Two Stay Two Stray type on the learning outcomes of the XI Grade Automatic Control System Expertise in the Engineering and Air Conditioning Technique Program at SMK Negeri 3 Pariaman. Keywords: Comparison, Jigsaw, Two Stay Two Stray, Learning Outcomes
