Abstract

The presence of management education in the world of education has attracted many people's attention to the world of education, as happened in the new academic year 2015 the number of applicants of students reaching the number of approximately 8000 an applicant candidate for new students in UIN ALAUDDIN Makassar as well as management enthusiasts the existing education at UIN Alauddin Makassar University experienced a significant increase of registrants especially in the Department of Management education. Although not all of the applicants can be admitted to the majors chosen by new students, this can not dampen the enthusiasm of new students to enter UIN Alauddin University's lecture in Makassar especially in the Department of Education Management. Thus attract the attention of authors to study about Factors Affecting Students Choosing Islamic Education Management Study Program at the Faculty of Tarbiyah and Teacher UIN Alauddin Makassar Academic Year 2015/216. The factors that encourage students to choose to enter the Department of Islamic Education Management are due to their own desires, family support (older siblings, parents) and the Department of Islamic Education Management has been accredited B, as well as the time faculty in high school / equivalent.

Abstract

The purpose of this article is to provide readers with understanding of the effectiveness of the management of library learning facilities. To produce a quality education system, not only seen in one aspect only but covering various aspects of other support such as teachers, libraries management, financial support, and information technology. In addition, Human resources, also has an important role to make learning facilities more efective use, for including competence, skills, abilities, attitudes, behavior, motivation, and commitment.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peran kepala sekolah sebagai motivator di SMK Muhammadiyah 3 Makassar, untuk mengetahui kinerja guru dan pegawai di SMK Muhammadiyah 3 Makassar dan untuk mengetahui adanya pengaruh yang signifikan antara motivasi kepala sekolah terhadap kinerja guru dan pegawai di SMK Muhammadiyah 3 Makassar. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh tenaga pendidik dan kependidikan di SMK Muhammadiyah 3 Makassar yang berjumlah 37 orang sehingga menggunakan total sampling. Data diperoleh melalui instrumen angket dan dokumentasi, dianalisis dengan menggunakan statistik deskriptif dan inferensial. Adapun hasil penelitiannya gambaran motivasi kepala sekolah di SMK Muhammadiyah Makassar menunjukkan hasil yang belum maksimal atau berada pada kategori sedang yakni 49%, adapun kinerja guru dan pegawai juga berada pada kategori sedang yakni 95%. Hasil analisis statistik inferensial menunjukkan nilai  maka HO diterima. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dan hasil deskriptif inferensial, dapat disimpulkan bahwa motivasi kepala sekolah berpengaruh terhadap kinerja guru dan pegawai. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian tersebut, ada beberapa implikasi terhadap pihak yang berkompeten demi peningkatan mutu pendidikan yaitu mengoptimalkan motivasi, dan hendaknya pimpinan memberikan evaluasi yang berkesinambungan tentang kinerja guru dan pegawai, agar hasil penelitian ini dapat dijadikan masukan atau acuan pengambilan kebijakan dalam rangka upaya peningkatan kualitas di SMK Muhammadiyah 3 Makassar, dan menjadikan lembaga pendidikan yang dipimpinnya sesuai dengan kebutuhan dan harapan pelanggan internal maupun eksternal.Keywords: Motivasi, Kinerja, Kepala Sekolah, Guru dan Pegawai

Abstract

The word effectiveness broadly refers to the ability of an organization in achieving the objectives (outcomes) that have been specified appropriately. Of course, the achievement of these goals can be achieved with and the involvement and collaboration of all members of the organization in carrying out its functions and duties respectively. The right activity or job - doing the right thing - run by every individual in the organization, though heavy, will be solved more easily in a simpler way. No less important the various tasks and activities of the organization must be run by optimizing all resources owned in an effort to achieve organizational goals. An organization can be said to succeed when the established goals can be achieved appropriately.

Abstract

Abstract:Curriculum is instrument of education on school to supporting goal of national education. The development of era demands the change of curriculum fore the sake of country development. Every country hope can compete with another country in the world. “The progress of country proportionate straiht with the progress of education”. Because of that, the figure of school as education instantion is very important to release the goal of national education. The school must be ready to confront the change of curriculum. the difference beetwen every curriculum makes a trouble in some aspect. Example: evaluation in curriculum 2013 more complex than curriculum KTSP. This matter needs a carefulness of teacher and increasing time of lesson. Because of that, every school must be fill the human resource and infrastructure to support education system.

Abstract

Law Number 20 Year 2003 on National Education System, Law Number 14 Year 2005 regarding Teachers and Lecturers, and Government Regulation Number 19 Year 2005 on National Education Standard states teachers are professional educators. Teachers as professionals have an important role in learning. The role of teachers in learning is to make learning design, organizing teaching and learning activities, teaching or learning. Efforts have been made to improve the quality of national education, such as the development of national and local curricula, improving teacher competence through training, procurement of books and instructional tools, teacher certification, procurement and improvement of educational facilities and infrastructure, and improving school management. But apparently all these efforts have not shown maximum results. Proven when people are still talking about less qualified graduates, even in terms of morals learners tanpak increasingly degenerate, honesty is very lacking, no manners, less discipline, less responsibility, shyness is very lacking, misconduct everywhere, and so on. In order to achieve the targeted goals in improving the quality of education, this is where the importance of teachers improve the quality of their performance in learning as a figure that plays an important role in advancing the world of education. To have a good performance teachers are required to have adequate academic ability, and can apply the knowledge they have to learners to advance the quality of learning learners.

Abstract

Abstract:The formulation of this research problem is how the influence of intellectual ability on teacher performance, how the influence of work motivation on teacher performance, how the influence of intellectual ability and work motivation on teacher performance. The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of intellectual ability on teacher performance, to determine the effect of work motivation on teacher performance, to determine the effect of intellectual ability and work motivation on teacher performance. With multiple linear regression analysis techniques obtained the following research results. Intellectual ability and motivation variables simultaneously have positive and significant effect on teacher performance with Fcount> Ftable (17.906> 3,350). Partial intellectual ability variable has positive and significant effect on teacher performance, with tcount> ttable (2,339> 2,042). Partial motivation variable has positive and significant effect on teacher performance with tcount> ttable (5,552> 2,042). The value of R Square in the above table is 0,570, it shows that 57 % variable of teacher performance can be explained by intellectual ability and motivation variable, while the rest of 43% is explained by other un-researched variables such as teacher discipline level, teacher competency, PBM and so forth.

Abstract

Pendidikan merupakan sumber investasi terbesardalam membangun dan menjadikan manusia seutuhnya menuju (insanul kamil). Memahami opini seseorang, yang dalam hal ini opini publik bukanlah suatu hal yang  mudah. Sebagaimana hal tersebut pembentukan opini publik dibentuk oleh publik yang selektif, karena dalam semua permasalahan selalu ada publiknya masing-masing. Humas memegang peran yang sangat penting dalam setiap institusi atau lembaga, karena humas menjadi salah satu cara yang strategis dalam menciptakan citra positif maupun citra negatif dalam suatu lembaga tersebut. Dalam hal ini humas mempunyai relasi yang luas,  dan peran humas dalam pengembangan pendidikan memiliki posisi yang sangat urgen terutama dalam menentukan arah pendidikan yang sesuai dengan keinginan semua pihak, lebih-lebih tuntutan dari pelanggan. Perkembangan opini publik dengan berbagai kakakternya yang semakin beragam, baik internal dan eksternal membutuhkan penyelesaian khusus dalam berkomunikasi dengan mereka. Kegiatan komunikasi organisasi merupakan kegiatan komunikasi strategis yang perlu dijalankan oleh organisasi.Manajemen sebagai pengambil keputusan penting dalam kegiatan komunikasi, melalui humas kegiatan komunikasi strategis organisasi dapat berjalan dengan baik. Public relation harus memiliki dukungan penuh dari manajemen untuk dapat melaksanakan tugas.

Abstract

This study aims to: 1). To know the implementation of management information system in SMP Negeri 21 Makassar. 2). To know the learning process at SMP Negeri 21 Makassar. 3). To know the factors that support the implementation of management information system in SMP Negeri 21 Makassar. This type of research is qualitative, with data acquisition through observation, interview, documentation. The validity of data in this study using triangulation.The results of this study include: (1). Implementation of Management Information System at SMP Negeri 21 Makassar has been done well. This is manifested in the use of data management applications dapodik and information technology in supporting the learning process by providing educational services based on infrastructure technology, such as learning facilities by combining computers with wifi. (2). Implementation of the learning process in SMP Negeri 21 Makassar is, before implementing the learning process must go through three stages namely, first, the planning stage, by making effective day analysis and analysis of learning programs, making annual programs, preparing syllabus, preparing lesson plans, and make assessment of learning. Second, the implementation phase, by analyzing aspects of the approach, aspects of strategy and tactics, aspects of methods and techniques. Learning media used are, print media (books), pictures, LCD and computer. Third, the evaluation stage of learning knowledge is tested in writing, oral, and a list of exam questions. Evaluation of skills learned evaluated with practice exams, and analysis of tasks evaluated by educators themselves. (3). Factors that support the existence of management information system that is the dapodik system containing data educators and data learners. So it can be concluded that the management information system is very supportive in the world of education, especially in the learning process at SMP Negeri 21 Makassar.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the leadership model in the character development of learners at SMK Negeri Labuang Polewali Mandar regency, including the leadership model of school principals in shaping the character of learners, the constraints faced in the character development of learners, as well as efforts made in the character development of learners in SMK Negeri Labuang. This research uses qualitative approach with case study design. The research location is SMK Negeri Labuang Polewali Mandar Regency. Laliko Village, Campalagian District, Polewali Mandar Regency, West Sulawesi Province. The data sources of this research are principals, vice principals, teachers, and teachers BK. Data were obtained through in-depth interviews, participant observation and documentation. The data analysis technique in this research is by: 1) data reduction (data reduction) that summarizes, chooses the main things, focus on the things that are important, sought the theme and pattern and verification of data on different data sources. remove unnecessary, 2) Presentation of data {data display) after the data is reduced. 3) data verification (conclution drawing verification) that is withdrawal conclusion by using source triagulation method that is data verification method at different source. The results of the analysis can be obtained by the model of leadership in the character development of learners in SMK Negeri Labuang Polewali Mandar regency has been implemented in accordance with the education system where, his leadership as headmaster of SMK Negeri Labuang, which adheres to democratic and occasionally authoritarian leadership model has applied professionally, and coaching in the formation of the character of learners with a democratic leadership model has been applied in the activities of learners either the curricular activities of subjects as well as extracurricular activities inside or outside school
