Abstract

Diversification of food aims to realize the pattern of food diversification that takes into account the nutritional value and purchasing power of the people, improving the quality and human resources and food security through the availability of food in terms of quantity and quality of nutrition. The study aimed to explore and identification of tuber-producing crops in Madiun Regency for conservation purposes. Cluster analysis aims to classify accesion with color input parameters of stem, leaf shape, leaf color, shoot color, tuber color and tuber shape. The results showed that “ganyong” plants contained only one group, with distribution in five districts. Taro contained sixteen groups, with distribution in five districts. “Garut” there is one group, with distribution in five districts. “Gembili” there are two groups, with distribution in three districts. Cassava has five groups, with distribution in five districts. Sweet potato has five groups, with distribution in five districts. “Suweg” there are three groups, with distribution in five districts.Keywords : diversivication, clusters, tubers, dry land

Abstract

This research was conducted on 15 Januari until 15 April 2017, in Blitar. The study used a randomized complete block design with 8 treatment combinations: are A: combination of green eggplant varieties with urine dose 80 ml/plant, B: of green eggplant variety with urine dose 120 cc/plant, C: eggplant varieties green with a urine dose of 160 cc/plant, D: green eggplant varieties with urine dose 200 cc/plant, purple eggplant varieties with urine dose 80 cc/plant, F: purple eggplant varieties with urine dose 120 cc/plant, G: purple eggplant varieties with urine dose 160 cc/plant, H: purple eggplant varieties with urine dose 200 cc/plant, this research was repeated 3 times so obtained 24 unit experiment, each experiment plot consist of 15 plants. Variables observed include plant height, number of leaves, total fruit weight, fruit length and amount of fruit per plant. Giving cow urine has a significant effect on the variables of plant height, number of leaves, fruit weight, fruit length, number of fruits per plant. The best treatment is a combination of purple eggplant and 160 – 200 cc/plant of biourine.Keywords: eggplant, biourine

Abstract

The community forest plays an important role to reduce greenhouse gas emissions because forests can absorb carbon dioxide in the air which is then storing in the tree. Measurement of the amount of C stored in the body plant life (biomass) in a community forest can describe the amount of CO in the atmosphere is absorbed by plants. Research activities aimed to estimate how much carbon stocks in Jati trees in public forests certified SVLK (Timber Legality Verification System). The method used is the making of allometric equations by the method of logging of teak tree species The location of research conducted in the area of community forests managed by the Forest People's Association business (PPHR) Lawu Lestari, district Panekan, Magetan. With an area of 192.16 hectares and spread over three (3) villages namely Ngiliran, Jabung and Bedagung and already getting sertivikat SVLK Certification Body PT SGS Indonesia on December 4, 2013. The amount of the percentage of biomass per tree parts from the greatest is the stem 47.54%, 30.73% Branches and twigs, roots 18.37% 3.35% last leaf. Abstract

Crop diversity is an effort to increase the empowerment of yard which is a solution to the problem of limited agricultural land experienced by urban communities. The problem of agroindustry up to now is always faced with obstacles of supply management and quality of raw materials. The expected research objectives are to identify and assess the types of crops planted in the yard and to determine the priority of potential development of agroindustry in Madiun City. The method used in this research is descriptive method, while the Location Samples are chosen purposively based on consideration. The location chosen in this research is Madiun City Region. while the method of data analysis in determining the priority of agroindustry potential that is used is Exponential comparison method (MPE). The results of the research are as follows: (a) In the City of Madiun utilizing the yard is done with the cultivation of Fruit, Vegetable and Medicinal Plants (TOGA), (b) Priority 1 to 3 which is the development potential as raw material agroindustry as follows: 1. Type of Fruit Plants namely Mango, Banana and Papaya, 2 Types of Vegetable Crops namely Chilli, Bayem and Kangkung, 3. Types of Medicinal Plants (TOGA) that is Ginger, Pandan and Sere. (c) Type of Agroindustry Processed Products that can be developed in Madiun City according to the potential of cultivation in the yard is as follows: 1. Types of Crops Fruit can be processed into Fruit Juice, Various Chips, Dodol, Syrup etc, 2. Types of Vegetables Could be processed into Sambel Pecel, Aneka Kripik, Saos etc, 3. Abstract

The development of the productivity of the fungus is highly determined by the quality of the seed. Problems in dealing with the real poor quality of seedlings obtained from seeds of pensupply farmers. Research objectives produce quality seeds and berviabilitas. The research was carried out in a laboratory tissue culture Faculty of Agriculture Merdeka University Madiun research methodology using Randomized Factorial Design comprised 9 one factor treatment was repeated three times with the number of sample 5. The treatment consists in J1 (sengon sawdust Media 25 grams of yeast stems inoculated), J2 (sengon sawdust media 25 grams of yeast stems inoculated), J2 (sengon sawdust media 25 grams of yeast stems inoculated), J3 (media 50 grams of maize seeds inoculated Hood mushroom), J4 (media 50 grams of maize seeds inoculated mushroom seeds F1), J5 (Media 50 grams of maize seeds inoculated mushroom hood), J6 (media 50 grams of maize seeds inoculated mushroom hood), J7 (75 grams of grain-grain media inoculated mushroom seeds F1), J8 (media empty 75 grams of grain seeds inoculated fungi F1), J9 (75 grams of grain-grain media inoculated mushroom seeds F). The observation parameter consists of a growing number of speeds miselia, miselia, miselia long and wide spread of miselia. Diversity analyzed data collection results by test Duncan't 5% as well as a diagram of the proliferation developments. Results: treatment Application J5 (50 grams of corn Media inoculated with mushroom hood implants) showed the highest average percentage growing speed parameter miselia 2 weeks after inoculation of 67.92%. The application of treatment J5 (50 grams of corn media inoculated with mushroom stem implants) showed the highest average value on quality parameters of growth miselia age 4 weeks after inoculation: miselian grow very dense growth of thickness parameter miselia 2 weeks after inoculation of wide spread and parameter 35.11 miselia 3 weeks after inoculation of 90.92 cm2Keywords: white Oyster Mushrooms, Miselia media, sawdust, corn and corn grain.

Abstract

Seedlings that are less appropriate at the time of planting move will affect the stagnation of growth and impact on the preparation of leaf chlorophyll for photosynthesis. The purpose of research to determine the number of tillers at leaf area index of various ages of move planting and the number of seedlings per plant (Oryza sativa L). The study used a split-plot design. The main plot was the number of seedlings per plant (1, 3, 5), sub-plot was seed age factor (dry seedlings 15 HSS, dried seedlings 18 HSS, wet seedlings 20 HSS and wet seedling 24 HSS). The result of a study showed that various of seed age were significantly different on leaf area but not significantly different on leaf area index. The number of seedling per plant were significantly different on leaf area and leaf area index. Average of plant height of wet seedling (96.71 cm) more high than dry seedlings (87.27 cm) but the increasing of plant height of dry seedlings (68.24 %) more than wet seedlings (57.29 %).
