Abstract

There are some of students feel afraid to participate in learning, because there are some discussion or theme of learning is a problem that occurs in students of SMP Negeri 24 Padang Now this with Information and Communication Technology (ICT) learning process can be done through electronic media called e-learning. One way to use the right learning media so that students are more active to play a role in the learning process. Abstract

With the existence of this information will be easily obtained, the exchange of data that occurs in the virtual world will increase. In addition to the development of this technology, unwittingly evolved also crimes that occur in cyberspace that can harm users who access these sites, ranging from the delivery of viruses, spamming or other types of crime. So that institutions connected in an Internet network will be very vulnerable to network security at the institution. This is given that the productivity of an institution or company will depend on the performance of the network in it. Damage that occurs in a network will result in data exchange that occurs on the network will slow or even damage the network system. Therefore a mechanism that is used to analyze network security is required. Computer network security systems connected to the Internet must be planned and well understood in order to protect the resources within the network effectively. Abstract

Based on preliminary analysis, the results of student learning object oriented programming courses show the numbers are still relatively low, the low expected learning outcomes is due to the limitations of learning resources or existing instructional media. This research was conducted using the method of research and development (R&D) by using the Four- D model. The development of Mobile Learning used method Design of Exploratory Tutorial. The result of validity test shown that Mobile Learning media was valid. Then the result of practicalities test obtained also show the practicalities of media. Effectiveness of Mobile Learning media declared effective in improving student learning outcomes. Based on the findings of this study concluded that Mobile Learning was valid, practical, and effective to be used as media learning. Abstract

TPAS Ampang Kualo is a final waste dumping area in Kota Solok of Sumatera Barat. The research at TPAS Ampang Kualo aims to know the distribution of leachate. Geolistrik resistivity method by Wenner - Schlumberger configuration is used for data retrieval Resistivity meter MAE X612 EM. The measurement data is then converted by using Res2dinv software to generate 2D resistivity profile and Voxler 4.0 software for 3D resistivity profile. The results show that leachate seepage at TPAS Ampang Kualo on track one was around a leachate pond stretching from South to North. The leachate was detected at depths between of 2.10 to 5.80 meters. In track two, the presence of leachate was indicated around a leachate pond stretching from east to west. It was detected at depths beetween of 1.50 to 6.35 meters. The trajectory three was taken around the residential population stretching from South to North that cuts out the flow of the leachate ditch. The leachate was detected at a depth of 0.25 to 7.38 meters. It was concluded that the distribution of TPAS Ampang Kualo leachate spread from the South to the Southwest was down in a small ditch flow for leachate disposal that ending at Green Hills Arya Residen. Abstract

Solar Power Plants (PLTS) is a promising alternative in the provision of electrical energy. In this study built PLTS to drive the load of water pump. The performance of water pumps is tested under various weather conditions. Performed measurements of some important quantities such as voltage, current and timing of the use of the PLTS to drive the water pump. Maximum yield with a one-hour charge occurs in sunny weather conditions at 11-12 WIB. A one-hour charge can move a 75 watts water pump for two hours. Solar panels are also directed towards the sun position resulting in a 40% increase in power at 12-13 pm. Keywords : PLTS, Output Voltage, Output Current, Maximum Power.

Abstract

The purpose of this article is to analyze the needs of developing the worksheet in the Object Oriented Programming (PBO) course. This research is explorative descriptive research. The subjects of this study are students of Electronics Engineering class of 2016 Faculty of Engineering, State University of Padang. Samples were randomly selected by 20 students. Data were collected using observation sheet of PBO lecture and student questionnaire. The result of the observation indicates that the current worksheet is too wide in the scope of the material because of the combination of the PBO 1 and PBO 2 job sheets and the lack of explanation of the statements on the soure code. The results of the questionnaire development needs of the development of the worksheet show that students need a more easily understood job sheet, equipped with success indicators and glossary of terms or functions in the PBO (Java Programming Language). Abstract

One of quality assessment and the feasibility of higher education institutions and courses is accreditation. To achieve the desired accreditation value, universities and study programs must adjust the internal conditions in accordance with the standards given by the National Accreditation Board of Higher Education (BAN-PT). In most courses, all the data are scattered on different physical information systems and documents so that it takes more time and effort to integrate it into judgment. So required a system that is able to automatically retrieve and display the evaluation results with more efficient time and effort. One form of visualization that can meet it is by using a dashboard system that can integrate the entire contents of the supporting data so that when the evaluation process will get information about what parts are lacking or that already meet the standards. Abstract

The measureable magnetic field intensity variation is then interpreted in the form of the distribution of the magnetic material below the surface, then used as the basis for the prediction of possible geological conditions observed. The iron ore deposits in the survei area are generally interpreted as a form of sediment that fills the rock cavities, especially in limestone cavities. This occurs due to the geological structure that gives space for the placement of mineralization of ore deposits in the side rock zone. Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the use of Electronic Component Tester as  instructional media to the students' learning outcomes in Audio Video Techniques Program SMK N 1 Sumbar on basic competence classify passive and active components in electrical and electronic circuit. The research method used in this research, especially in the design of Electronic Component Tester is Research and Development (R & D) research, which consists of media design, validation, revision, product manufacture, and testing. After the learning media is validated, experimental research will be conducted where the Electronic Component Tester will be used as a learning medium for the students of Audio Video Technique SMKN 1 Sumbar in basic competence to classify passive and active components in electrical and electronic circuits. Prior to treatment, students were given a pre-test to determine initial ability. After being given the use of Electronic Component Tester as a learning medium, a post-test was done to determine the group's ability improvement. Pre-test results obtained an average value of 50.60, while the post-test results obtained an average value of 61.90. Learning outcomes after applied Electronic Component Tester learning media was Increased by 11.31 point. Result of calculation at significant level ? = 0,05 got tcount > ttable that is 2,905> 2,056. It can be concluded there is improvement of student learning outcome after using instructional media Electronic Component Tester in basic competence classify passive and active component in circuit electrical and electronics students Audio Video Technique Program in SMK N 1 Sumbar. Abstract

The aim of this research is to design and make stirring tool of corn grits with rotation speed of stirring based on temperature rise level detected by temperature sensor. Arduino Uno as reader of input data from temperature sensor and set output in the form of motor rotation stirrer, LCD display and buzzer. The benefits of this research in the field of application of electronics sensors in food processing, especially the effective and efficient corn grits processing.
