Abstract

Dengan semakin rendahnya cadangan energi fosil untuk membangkitkan energi listrik, maka perlu dilakukan analisis terhadap potensi daya angin yang tersedia disuatu kawasan, seperti kota Meulaboh. Penelitian ini menganalisa dan membuat mawar angin, sebagai langkah awal prediksi dan menentukan total daya angin yang didapat dibangkitkan sebagai pembangkit listrik dikota meulaboh. Dari analisis didapatkan bahwa Mawar Angin tersebut memperlihatkan distribusi energi angin selama kurun waktu setahun dalam arah 3600. Arah angin maksimum terjadi pada arah 3000 dan distribusi terendah terjadi pada arah 800. Kata Kunci : Energi fosil, Energi Listrik, Daya Angin, Mawar Angin, Kota Meulaboh

Abstract

Kelapa sawit merupakan komoditas perekonomian Indonesia diperiode tahun 2006-2012 telah mampu memberikan penerimaan Negara sebesar Rp. 30,73 triliun dan devisa Negara sebesar 21,30% pada tahun 2012. Luas perkebunan kelapa sawit Indonesia meningkat dari 7,364 juta ha. pada tahun 2008 menjadi 9,074 juta ha. pada tahun 2012 sehingga menempatkan Indonesia sebagai produsen Crude Palm Oil (CPO) terbesar kedua setelah Malaysia. Sementara itu luas perkebunan kelapa sawit di Aceh juga mengalami peningkatan dari 287 ribu hektar pada tahun 2008 menjadi 358 ribu hektar pada tahun 2012, Data pusat hubungan masyarakat kementerian perdagangan Republik Indonesia tahun 2012 menunjukkan volume ekspor produk kayu mencapai 12.304,57 ribu ton. Capaian ekspor ini mengalami peningkatan sebesar 5,74% setiap tahunnya, Estimasi data menunjukkan bahwa pemanfaatan serat hasil pertanian di Indonesia hanya 10,1%? di banding dengan Thailand (100%), Cina (84,3%) dan Vietnam (40,0%), tujuan penelitian ini pembuatan balok serat komposit diperkuat Serat Tandan Kosong Kelapa Sawit (TKKS) berukuran: balok Horizontal? ? dengan ukuran? 150 x 60 x 75 mm, Vertical dengan ukuran 60 x 60 x150 mm menggunakan metode penuangan secara langsung hasil diperoleh pada pembuatan balok serat komposit diperkuat serat TKKS diperoleh hasil diantaranya Dengan serat tandan kosong kelapa sawit (TKKS) 300 gram, resin 1100 gram, katalis 18,5 gram, maka balok serat komposit terbentuk dalam kondisi getas dan kaku. kekurang resin dari 1100 gram maka balok serat komposit tidak membari nilai kekakuan/getas dengan perbandingan 3;1 serat dan resin sehingga hasil akan sempurna, selanjutnya jika melebihi dari 1100 gram maka nilai ekonomis akan berkurang dan berat produk bertambah.?Kata kunci : Pembuatan balok serat komposit diperkuat serat TKKS, balok arah serat? horizontal, balok arah serat vertical, getas dan kaku

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan memanfaatkan kombinasi pompa hidram dengan pompa vakum yang ramah lingkungan tanpa menggunakan energi listrik dengan efesiensi yang tinggi. Desain Kombinasi Pompa Vakum dengan Pompa Hidrolik Ram menggunakan sofware Auto CAD dan sofware Sketchup. Dengan ukuran diameter pompa vakum 58 cm, tinggi tabung pompa vakum 93 cm, dengan kapasitas volume tabung pompa 220 liter, tinggi pompa hidram 85 cm, dengan lebar pompa hidram yaitu 50 cm. Hasil rata untuk tiga kali pengujian dalam waktu 10 menit volume air yang keluar rata-rata sebanyak 15 liter, dengan debit 1,5 l/m, dan head losses nya 0,02 m. tahap kedua dalam waktu 30 menit volume air yang keluar rata-rata dari tiga kali pengujian sebanyak 46,1 liter, dengan debit 1,53 l/m, dan head losses nya 0,01 m, dan tahap ketiga dalam waktu 60 menit volume air yang keluar sebanyak 92,6 liter, dengan debit 1,54 l/m, dan head losses nya 0,01 m. Dari hasil pengamatan maka metode ini mendapatkan kontinuitas yang baik dan dari nilai loses yang diperoleh maka efesiensi pompa tersebut cukup tinggi.

Abstract

The use of waste oil palm empty Fruit bunches (OPEFB) is rapidly increasing.OPEFB Fiber are potential to be made engineering product especially innovative products. The? innovative products can be used for technical component cases, especially products which have lifespan, durability, easily designed, recyclable, corrosion resistant, and heat absorbent as well as economical.The aims of this research was the effect of impact loads for innovative products manufacturing Parking Bumper polymeric foam material. The impact was tested by using free fall Impact testing device and Impact Test Specimens were done by using ASTM D1621-00.The result parking bumper design in simulation showed the stress value of 0.13 MPa. For trapezium type.? which Force is provided for 4425 N, the dimension of the parking bumper 250 x 200 x 130 (mm). Simulations performed using Ansys workbench 12.1., the result of mechanical properties showed the second composition with the variation of the fall height was not close enough. This indicate that the second composition (Blowing Agent 15%, 70% Resin, Fiber 10%, Catalyst 5%) for parking bumper product would become more accurate and perfect.Keywords: waste (OPEFB), innovative products, parking bumper, free fall impact testing device

Abstract

The process of ice crusher bars in the shredder ice used in the fish market building efforts in Meulaboh is not optimal anymore work given that there are parts of the engine components that are no good in this case can also be seen from at least the production of ice produced at less than 24 kg / min, and based on the observations of the author of the engine sound is also louder and the machine is not standard anymore. Starting from the problem, the purpose of this planning the authors feel the need to plan the re-shredder ice blocks into better and more efficient work. in general usually machine consists of three main parts that work. Wherein the third part is the driver, the successor system power (power transmission) and the driven part. The initial step in planning is to conduct market surveys of business building in the city of Meulaboh. The next step is to plan and calculate the component elements of the machine, planning and calculation performed on the shaft, pulley-belt and bearing on tools that have been designed. The final step in the planning process is made by evaluating the results of calculations performed. Abstract

Increasing population growth affects the consume energy, it is necessary to conduct a study for product renewable energy. The biggest energy source is Sun, that can not be discharged. One of the utilization of solar energy is for heater. clothes dryer test with the use of aluminum plate as an absorbent and heat release is done by varying the shape of the surface of the different aluminum plate. The variance in the surface shape aluminum plate is used aims to determine heat numbers to be generated by the process of absorption and release of heat. The variation of the surface shape of the aluminum plate is a semi-circular shape surface, the flat shape and trapezoidal wave form. The results of the testing plate variations for clothes dryer, heat transfer rate obtained by the average value of the highest temperature of the aluminum plate is the aluminum surface a semicircle forms of 65.8oC with an average intensity of solar radiation 762,9W / m2. The result of the material jean obtained wet water content of 65.4%, the flow rate of water mass drying of 0.97 grams / minute and an average drying rate of 0.98 grams / minute with a surface area of 3391.2 cm2 semicircle. Abstract

The processing of ?pisang sale? that exist in today's society is traditionally done by putting a banana in the embers of charcoal. Fumigation with burning in the open space takes a long time to cure the bananas which ranged from 20-24 hours with inversion every ? 4 hours.Drying equipment system consisting of a combustion chamber, heating ducts, drying cabinets and chimneys is necessary for the utilization of the heat of combustion energy can be used optimally. an equipment system that has more than one dimension is very difficult to do the heat transfer. Therefore, a numerical method of choice to resolve this case, which concerns the system with the properties of complex physical and unevenness boundary conditions. This method usually requires a lot of time, especially if it manually, but with the development of technology computerized numerically settlement is very easy and fast with computer software. The results of mathematical calculations using Gauss Jordanmodels, then the calculated temperature value obtained for T2 - T9 are respectively 95.635; 86.991; 81.338; 77.024; 73.733; 71.186; 68.819; 67,2730C.Calculation of more, complicated or complex, numerical solutions by computational methods into a very appropriate choice.So that the results can be obtained in a short time. Abstract

Fiberglass merupakan bahan paduan atau campuran beberapa bahan kimia (bahan komposit) yang terdiri dari cairan resin (water glass), katalis, kalsium karbonat, met atau matt, cobalt blue, dan wax (mold release) yang bereaksi dan mengeras dalam waktu tertentu, kekuatannya tinggi, elastis, dan tahan terhadap temperatur tinggi, pada pembuatan ini menggunakan bahan antara lain, resin, katalis methyl ethyl ketone perokside, katalisator pemisah berjenis mirror dan serat gelas, penelitian ini adalah pembuatan produk automotif kenderaan roda dua metode pembuatan dengan menggunakan metode hand lay up dan cetakan dilakukan pada cetakan bagian atas produk automotif kenderaan roda dua. hasil yang diperoleh mudah dibentuk khususnya pada sisi yang sulit, komposisi campuran dan serat gelas menjadi lebih rata terhadap permukaan, proses finishing semakin mudah akibat permukaan produk hasil cetakan yang telah sempurna. Abstract

Plastic is a material that is widely used in daily life, because it has advantages such as strong, lightweight and stable. But the plastic on the market today are synthetic polymers made from petroleum are difficult to decompose in nature. Judging from the nature of the plastic constituent is composed of components of petroleum hydrocarbons, the plastic waste has the potential to be converted into fuel. The technique used to restore the plastic material is by breaking the carbon chains or polymers that become hydrocarbons. The purpose of the design tool processing waste plastics into fuel oilfired biomass is to design a waste treatment plant in the plastic to produce oil (fuel), making the design drawings of the equipment is planned, determine the materials to be used, make and assemble the apparatus according to the design the planned. In pyrolysis occurs tool decomposition process of organic compounds on the materials. This decomposition caused by the heating process without dealing directly with the air with little oxygen. Waste processing equipment plastic that will be planned to include the design of the combustion chamber, reactor design, pipeline design fence steam, design connecting pipe between the reactor and the pipe fence steam. Abstract

Potensi limbah Tandan Kosong Kelapa Sawit (TKKS) yang pemanfaatannya kurang maksimal, sehingga terbuang secara sia-sia akan dapat tertanggulangi dengan inovasi mengubah menjadi produk yang bermanfaat. Komposit yang terbentuk dua fasa yaitu fasa metriks dan fasa penguat untuk menghasilkan rekayasa material yang baru. Resin merupakan salah satu sebagai matriks dan tandan kosong kelapa sawit adalah sebagai penguat. Penelitian ini adalah Pembuatan Papan Komposit dengan ukuran 100 x 300 mm untuk dapat mengetahui hasil dari pada campuran resin dan tandan kosong kelapa sawit, Papan serat komposit terbentuk dengan kondisi getas dan kaku. Dalam Proses pembuatan komposit terdapat, penuangan secara langsung, tanpa pemampatan atau tekanan. Kata kunci : pembuatan papan komposit,serat,resin penuangan secara langsung getas dan kaku
