Abstract

Pada pengujian validitas (keabsahan) dan relibilitas terhadap data-data hasil, penelitian didapat hasilpada variable Tingkat kinerja SDM (X1),Fasilitasa (X2) dan pelayanan (X3) serta variable kepuasan penggunajasa (Y)didapatkan angka r hitung > r table.Hal ini dapat diartikan bahwa item-item pertanyaan padaketiga variable bebas yang diteliti memenuhi syarat untuk diadakan suatu penelitian.Sedangkan angkareliabilitas pada masing-masing variable diperoleh angka > 0,6 sehingga dikatakan reliable.Oleh karena ituketiga variable bebas ( Tingkat KinerjaSDM,fasilitas dan pelayanan) serta variable terikatnya (kepuasan penggunajasa) layak digunakan untuk menguji hipotesis selanjutnya (uji t dan uji f )?In testing the validity (validity) and reliability of the data of the results, the research results obtained inthe variable rate HR performance (X1), Fasilitasa (X2) and services (X3) and variable user satisfaction services(Y) obtained figures count r> r table .This means that the items in question three independent variables studiedeligible for penelitian.Sedangkan held a number of reliability for each variable obtained figures> 0.6 so that saidthird reliable.Oleh therefore independent variable (Level KinerjaSDM , facilities and services) as well as thedependent variable (the service user satisfaction) should be used to test the hypothesis further (t test and f )

Abstract

Marketing of shipping companies is not only concerned with the development and implementation ofsuccessful strategies. For marketing to be successful there needs to be a marketing orientation throughout thecompany which fosters the marketing concept and demonstrates a marketing approach to all internal and externalactivities. The concept of customer orientation in business markets has attracted attention from bothacademics and managers and it has been widely used in the marketing discipline. The term customer orientedfirms is used to describe how knowledgeable the firm is about the clients? needs and how responsive the firm is tothem in terms of the continuous value creation and delivery. Despite the increasing literature being focused oncustomer orientation and business relationships in general, there is a lack of literature explaining the marketingorientation in shipping companies. Shipping marketing can be described by means of all practical aspects withina marketing program, such as market analysis, segmentation, planning, differentiation, positioning, promotionand transport service production. A marketing orientation is based around a philosophy, which places the chartererand shipper first, and it recognizes that every action taken by the shipping company ultimately affects thecustomer relationship. Therefore, a necessary precondition of an effective shipping marketing is the understandingof the different needs the charterers and shippers have within the different market segments. The weakness ofunderstanding the needs the client groups have, leads to the weakness of correct marketing planning and to thefailure of providing the desired transport services. The article begins with a brief discussion and definitions forthe marketing of shipping companies. Then, the framework of customer orientation in shipping companies isanalyzed. The paper is based on an empirical research, which concerns the buying behavior in the tramp andliner market. Consequently, the psychology and buying behavior of a shipping company?s clients are examined,as well as the charterers? and shippers? transportation needs, decision processes and the factors influencing them.The paper concludes with a discussion of the findings in terms of the implications for both theory and shippingpractice.Keywords : Marketing of shipping companies; customer orientation; marketing discipline; tramp and linermarket.

Abstract

Kantor Administrator Terminal Peti Kemas Bandung merupakan perusahaan yang berada di kawasanDry Port (Pelabuhan Darat) Gedebage Bandung yang berfungsi sebagai pimpinan umum untuk mengendalikankelancaran arus barang serta mengkoordinir instansi yang ada di Dry Port. Teknis operasional yang merupakansalah satu bagian dari kantor administrator tersebut yang secara umum memiliki tugas merencanakandan merealisasikan program kerja (business plan), pengawasan terhadap mutu pekerjaan operasional, danevaluasi terhadap hasil pekerjaan.Penelitian ini berguna untuk mengetahui faktor kompetensi yang dapat digunakan untuk analisiskinerja karyawan dan bagaimana mendapatkan bobot kriteria dengan menggunakan metode AnalyticNetworking Process (ANP) serta mendapatkan hasil penilaian kinerja karyawan dengan menggunakan RatingScale. Tahapan untuk analisis pertama adalah studi literatur, penyusunan kriteria, penyusunan model jaringanserta pembobotan faktor. Pembobotan berasal dari kuesioner yang diisi oleh para ahli dan menghasilkan urutanprioritas faktor yang mempengaruhi. Sedangkan analisis kedua adalah penilaian kinerja karyawan yang dinilailangsung oleh para ahli atau atasan mereka sendiri. Pengolahan data menggunakan Rating Scale yang mengalikanbobot yang didapat dari metode ANP dengan nilai yang diberikan oleh atasan.Penilaian kinerja terhadap 10 orang pegawai teknis operasional berdasarkan 3 kriteria yang terdiri atas 14subkriteria didapatkan 100% atau 10 orang pegawai tersebut seluruhnya mendapatkan nilai B yaitu kinerjatinggi. Semua pegawai teknis operasional tersebut dapat didorong untuk meningkatkan kinerjanya sehinggahasil yang diperoleh bisa mencapai A (kinerja sangat tinggi) dengan pemberian motivasi.Kata kunci : Kinerja operator teknis, Rating scale dan Analytic Networking ProcessOffice Administrator Container Terminal Bandung is a company located in the Dry Port (Port Inland)Gedebage Bandung which serves as a general leader to control the flow of goods as well as coordinating agency inthe Dry Port. Technical operation which is one part of the administrator's office in general has a duty to plan andrealize the work program (business plan), supervision of the quality of operational work, and evaluation of thework.This study is useful to determine the competence factor that can be used for analysis of employee performanceand how to get the weight criteria using the Analytic Networking Process (ANP) and get the employeeperformance appraisal using the Rating Scale. Stages for the first analysis is the study of literature, the preparationof criteria, network modeling and weighting factors. Weighting comes from questionnaires filled out byexperts and produce factors that affect the order of priority. While the second is the analysis of the performanceappraisal are assessed directly by the experts or their own superiors. Data processing using the Rating Scale whichmultiplies weights obtained from ANP method with the value given by superiors.J. Sain dan Tek. Abstract

Masalah kelautan pesisir dikumpulkan dari masyarakat pesisir di daerah bernama kotamadyaSemarang provinsi Jawa Tengah, dari nelayan, dan pejabat pemerintah, teknik yang digunakan adalahbahwa dari workshop`s partisipatif lapangan. Hasil penelitian mengungkapkan beberapa masalah pesisir danlaut di lokasi penelitian. Masalah-masalah yang dihasilkan dari tiga faktor dasar pohon, yaitu kesadaranpesisir masyarakat, sumber daya pesisir, dan kebijakan pemerintah. Kegagalan government`s lokal untuk memecahkanmasalah tersebut terutama dilakukan kurang kesadaran sosial pengelolaan pesisir lingkungan dankurangnya penegakan hukum.Kata kunci: Marinir Management`s Masalah Pesisir.?Coastal marine issues are collected from coastal communities in the area called the municipality ofSemarang, Central Java province, of fishermen, and government officials, the technique used is that of participatoryworkshop`s field. Results of the study revealed some coastal and ocean issues at the sites. The problems resultedfrom a tree three basic factors, namely the awareness of coastal communities, coastal resources, and governmentpolicy. Local government`s failure to solve these problems is mainly done less social awareness of coastal environmentalmanagement and a lack of law enforcement.Keywords: Coastal Marine Management`s problem.

Abstract

In establishing the satisfaction of university students, the institutions should improve the service qualitygiven to their students. The better of the service quality, the higher of the satisfaction towards the company. Theheight of the service quality is always in relation to the internal support of the institution, especially the supportof the human resource. From the satisfaction index done by Politeknik Ilmu Pelayaran Semarang, it is knownthat the point of satisfaction index of the students who are the academic service users of Politeknik IlmuPelayaran Semarang is far below from the target. This shows the low of service quality given in the institution.It is in line with the dimension of university students? service which tends to decrease in 2011.The objective of the research is to analyze the influence of interaction between departments and theacademic information system to the service quality and to analyze the influence of interaction between departments,academic information system and service quality to the satisfaction of PIP Semarang students. Theresearch uses 120 respondents as the samples. The data is analyzed using SEM.Based on the data analysis, it is concluded that interaction between departments and academic informationsystem give positive influence to the service quality. The interaction between departments, academic informationsystem and service quality also give positive influence to the satisfaction of PIP Semarang students. Thestructured opportunities to the units in the institutions such as academic, finance, teaching and service to interacteffectively is created through the strategic planning about the service given to the students. Furthermore, thethings that can hinder the effective interaction between departments such as conflict between departments canbe avoided by arranging the organisation system of PIP Semarang in detail.Key words: Interaction between departments, Academic information System, Service Quality, Students Satisfaction

Abstract

Global Warming adalah memanasnya atmosfer bumi akibat menipisnya lapisan Ozon yang disebabkan karena adanya efek gas rumah kaca yang mengakibatkan sinar ultra violet langsung ke bumi sehingga menyebabkan perubahan iklim yang mendasar diantaranya adanya cuaca ekstrem dimana temperatur meningkat baik di darat maupun lautan sehingga terjadi penguapan air laut besar-besaran sehingga mengakibatkan cuaca tidak menentu yang sulit diprediksi terjadi bencana dimana-mana banjir, kekeringan, angin kencang, badai dll.Hal ini tidak bisa dibiarkan sehingga para pemimpin dunia mengadakan kesepakatan bersama bagaimana mencegah Global Warmin.Kata kunci : Global Warming dan bencanaGlobal warming is increasing the temperature of the Earth's atmosphere due to the depletion of the ozone layer caused by the effects of greenhouse gases result in ultra violet B rays directly into the Earth. Thus causing a fundamental climate change include the presence of extreme weather, temperatures on land and in the ocean so massive sea water evaporation so that the erratic weather conditions that are difficult to predict. Abstract

Madabintal dan Mantapbintal merupakan salah satu rangkaian acara yang menjadi pembuka prosespengenalan taruna/i baru terhadap lingkungan kampus di STIMART ?AMNI Semarang. Ada banyak macamkegiatan madabintal dan mantapbintal masing-masing kampus biasanya mempunyai ciri khas tersendiridalam pelaksanaan madabintal dan mantapbintal. Kegiatan madabintal dan mantapbintal sering diisi olehmateri-materi yang berhubungan dengan kampus hingga training motivasi yang bertujuan meningkatkankepercayaan diri taruna/i dalam memasuki lingkungan pendidikan yang baru. Namun masih ada pulakampus yang belum menghilangkan tradisi senioritas dalam kegiatan madabintal dan mantapbintal.Pada umumnya, lembaga pendidikan yang berdisiplin tinggi beralasan bahwa tradisi senioritas yangseringkali menjadi beban terhadap taruna/i baru bertujuan untuk menyiapkan mental para taruna/i baruagar lebih baik. Pada kenyataannya, tidak jarang tradisi senioritas berisi kegiatan-kegiatan fisik yang terkesanberlebihan (disiplin tinggi) atau keras. Kegiatan yang katanya bertujuan untuk menyiapkan mental justruakan mengarah pada tindakan bullying. Tidak bisa dipungkiri, masih sering ditemukan kasus bullying seniorterhadap taruna/i baru. Bukan hanya berupa bentakan, namun juga hukuman fisik yang tidak wajar yangdapat menimbulkan dampak negarif bagi jasmani maupun psikologis para taruna/i baru, hal ini yang dampaknyaberpengaruh dalam Proses Belajar Mengajar (PBM).Menjadi kepuasan dan kebanggaan tersendiri bagi taruna/i akan diperlakukan madabintal dan mantapbintalsetelah mereka menyelesaikan studi. Banyak diantara para alumini STIMART ?AMNI? Semarangyang memiliki masa depan yang cerah dikarenakan kedisiplinan tinggi sebagai modal dalam bekerja, kedisiplinantersebut salah satunya tak lain didapat ketika ditempa di Akademi, karena itu kegiatan ketarunaanpun juga melatih taruna untuk selalu disiplin dan cekatan dalam aktifitas. Jadi aktifitas ketarunaan sangatlahpenting untuk masa depan para taruna, asalkan didasari dengan tata tertib dan rasa penuh tanggung jawab.Kata Kunci : Madabintal, Mantapbintal, Bullying,Tradisi Senioritas.Madabintal and Mantapbintal is one of a series of events that became the opening process of the introductionof cadet / i new to the campus in STIMART "Amni Semarang. In fact, it is not uncommontradition of seniority lists physical activities that seem excessive (discipline) or hard. Activities which he said aimsto prepare mentally will only lead to bullying. Inevitably, they often found the case against bullying senior cadets/ i new. Not only in the form of yelling, but also physical punishment is not fair that may cause negative impactsto the physical and psychological cadets / i new, it is the impact influential in Learning Process (PBM).Being satisfaction and pride for cadets / i will be treated madabintal and mantapbintal after theycompleted the study. Many of the alumni STIMART "Amni" Semarang who has a bright future because of thehigh discipline as capital work, discipline is one of them none other than obtained when forged at the Academy,because the activities ketarunaan was also trains cadets to always disciplined and workmanlike in activity , Soketarunaan activity is essential for the future of the cadets, as long as it is constituted with full discipline andsense of responsibility.Keywords: Madabintal, Mantapbintal, Bullying, Tradition Seniority.
