Abstract

This research aims to (1) increase learning motivation of students through the adoption of a model cooperative learning methods Think Pair and Share (TPS), (2) describe the use of cooperative learning methods Think Pair and Share (TPS) in class XI IIS SMAN 3 Kuala Kapuas academic year 2014/2015. This study was designed and implemented using Action Research (PTK). Research subjects are all students of Class XI IIS SMAN 3 Kuala Kapuas. Object of this research is to increase student motivation and learning activities in the application method and Think Pair Share (TPS). The instrument used in this study were (1) an instrument for measuring the activity of the teacher in the classroom who is assisted by 2 observers, (2) instrument to measure student activities, (3) instrument to measure student motivation, (4) instrument to measure student response, towards the implementation of cooperative learning model and method of Think Pair Share (TPS). PTK stages in the form of planning, implementation, observation and reflection, using a scientific approach (5M).Keywords: Cooperative Learning Model Method And Think Pair Share (TPS), student motivation, enhancing learning.

Abstract

The research aims to find out description of parents economic and social status students achievement. This research is based on quantitative approach; the population is all students of SMPN in Sebangau district, coming from three schools. The sample is all students of SMPN 4 Palangkaraya. As the procedure, data collection used questionaire to abtain the students? social and economic status; test is used to measure the students? achievement in social science subject. The test is multiple choice. The data analysis is based on SPSS and the formula is Spearman correlation. The research result  states that the parents? social and economic status of the students are different. The result test says that students? achievement are considered good. It can be concluded that there is no correlation between Parents? Economic and Social Status and Student? achievement. In a word, the hypothesis is rejected.Key words:  Economic and Social  Status,  Achievement, and Correlation

Abstract

Understanding that the history lesson is rote learning resulted in a greater emphasis on verbal. Under these circumstances researchers offered the implementation of cooperative learning model type Time Game Tournament, which is a cooperative learning model in which there are elements of the game academic or weekly tournament to replace the individual test, so students do not feel bored because there is an element of the tournament. This research is a classroom action research conducted with 3 cycles. Each cycle consists of two meetings. It can be concluded: (1) The application of cooperative learning model TGT can be executed properly if the teacher can plan learning activities with good (2) Problems encountered in general can be overcome if the teacher has the willingness and ability to develop the profession (3) The application of the model TGT cooperative learning can enhance students' motivation is measured by ARCS motivational strategies that attention (attention), relevance (relevant), confidence (confidence) and satisfaction (satisfaction).Key words: History lesson, cooperative learning, Time game tournament, learning achievement

Abstract

AbstractThe research conducted aims to analyze how the economic learning model that has been applied by the teacher and its influence on students' rational thinking skills. Furthermore, how the influence of the learning model emphasizes solving problems with Polya's version of students' rational thinking skills, because previously this model was never used in economic learning. This research was conducted in one of the private high schools in Panyipatan sub-district, namely Abdul Kadir High School. The research method used is quantitative method with quasi-experimental design of pre-test and post-test, the class chosen is class X semester 2 with the subject of inflation. The results of the research and hypothesis testing show that there are significant differences in students' rational thinking abilities taught through the Polya problem solving learning model with students taught with conventional models. Based on the results of the post-test it can be seen that there are differences in mean learning outcomes, where the experimental class has an average value of 74.26, and control class 41.47. This difference is also seen from the results of the two index gain index, where the control class shows a gain index of 0.26 or <0.30 with low criteria. While the experimental class has a gain index of 0.66 with the criteria being. In addition to the gain index, differences in students' rational thinking skills are also seen from the results of different test results (t), from the above calculation, it is obtained thitung = 8.121 while t table = 2.131. So that if it is included in the hypothesis formula, t count> t table, H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted. Based on these results it can be concluded that the ability to think rationally by using the Polya version of problem solving learning model is better or increased than conventional learning models that have been applied in every economic learning, especially in inflation material.Keywords: Polya's version of problem solving learning model, economics, rational thinking.AbstrakPenelitian yang dilakukan bertujuan untuk menganalisis bagaimana model pembelajaran ekonomi yang selama ini diterapkan oleh guru serta pengaruhnya terhadap kemampuan berpikir rasional peserta didik. Selanjutnya bagaimana pengaruh model pembelajaran yang menekankan pada pemecahan masalah dengan versi Polya terhadap kemampuan berpikir rasional peserta didik, karena sebelumnya model ini tidak pernah digunakan dalam pembelajaran ekonomi. Penelitian ini dilakukan di salah satu SMA swasta di kecamatan Panyipatan, yakni SMA Abdul Kadir. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode kuantitatif dengan kuasi eksperimen desain pre test dan post test, kelas yang dipilih adalah kelas X semester 2 dengan bahasan pokok inflasi. Hasil penelitian dan pengujian hipotesis menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan dalam kemampuan berpikir rasional peserta didik yang diajar melalui model pembelajaran pemecahan masalah Polya dengan peserta didik yang diajar dengan model konvensional. Berdasarkan hasil post test terlihat adanya perbedaan rerata hasil belajar, dimana kelas eksperimen memiliki nilai rerata 74,26, dan kelas kontrol 41,47. Perbedaan ini juga terlihat dari hasil hitung indeks gain kedua kelas, dimana kelas kontrol menunjukkan indeks gain sebesar 0,26 atau < 0,30 dengan kriteria rendah. Sedangkan kelas ekperimen memiliki indeks gain sebesar 0,66 dengan kriteria sedang. Selain indeks gain, perbedaan kemampuan berpikir rasional peserta didik juga terlihat dari nilai hasil uji beda (t), dari perhitungan di atas didapatkan thitung= 8,121 sedangkan ttabel= 2,131. Sehingga bila dimasukkan pada rumus hipotesis thitung > ttabel, H0 ditolak dan H1 diterima. Berdasarkan hasil ini maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa kemampuan berpikir rasional dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran pemecahan masalah versi Polya lebih baik atau meningkat dari pada model pembelajaran konvensional yang selama ini diterapkan disetiap pembelajaran ekonomi, khususnya pada materi inflasi.Kata kunci: Model pembelajaran pemecahan masalah versi Polya, ekonomi, berpikir rasional

Abstract

This research aims to know 1) is there any corelation between interest of learning history and understanding of Banjarese kingdom history material. 2) is there any corelation between perception toward understanding of Banjarese kingdom history material. 3) is there any correlation between interest in learning history and perception toward understanding of Banjarese kingdom history material of the eleventh grade social studies students in Banjarbaru. The sampling of this research uses proportional probability sampling are 195 students. Datum collected by using the questionnaire for the interest of learning history and perception variable, and use the test for comprehention variable. Abstract

AbstractEducation is an activity that has core interactions between students and educators as well as various educational sources. Interaction between students and educators and educational resources can take place in social situations (education), Classroom Action Research is used to describe the motivation and learning outcomes of students' economic subjects in Class X IIS SMA Negeri 2 Banjarmasin. Classroom Action Research is conducted when learning activities take place, both overall and related to the material. The results of the study show that the application of role playing makes students as the subject of learning activities, and they must actively practice the communication with their friends. Learning motivation of students looks enthusiastic and dynamic. So that it can improve the positive climate to improve maximum learning outcomes.Keywords: Learning, role playing, and learning motivationAbstrakPendidikan merupakan suatu kegiatan yang berintikan interaksi antara peserta didik dengan para pendidik serta berbagai sumber pendidikan. Interaksi antara peserta didik dengan pendidik dan sumber-sumber pendidikan tersebut dapat berlangsung dalam situasi pergaulan (pendidikan), Penelitian Tindakan Kelas digunakan guna mendeskripsikan motivasi dan hasil belajar mata pelajaran ekonomi peserta didik kelas X IIS SMA Negeri 2 Banjarmasin. Penelitian Tindakan Kelas dilakukan ketika kegiatan pembelajaran yang berlangsung, baik secara keseluruhan maupun terkait dengan materi. Adapun hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan role playing menjadikan peserta didik sebagai subyek dari kegiatan pembelajaran, dan mereka secara aktif harus melakukan praktik-praktik berkomunikasi dengan temannya. Motivasi belajar peserta didik terlihat antusias dan dinamis. Sehingga mampu meningkatkan iklim positif untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar yang maksimal.Kata Kunci: Pembelajaran, role playing, dan motivasi belajar

Abstract

SMA Negeri 1 Sungai Tabuk has had facilities and infrastructure in ICT-based learning, but in the teaching and learning process of teachers in SMA Negeri 1 Sungai Tabuk less take advantage of ICT that has been owned. With the lack of ICT-based learning, so less interesting learning and innovative and boring. In this case less increase motivation and learning achievement in SMA Negeri 1 Sungai Tabuk. The approach in this research is quantitative approach, because this research is presented with numbers. Determination of samples using probability sampling technique. From the results of research conducted, the differences in learning achievement of powerpoint-based learning with conventional learning. Learning achievement using powerpoint-based learning is higher than that of learning achievement using conventional learning. And the difference of learning achievement from internet-based learning with conventional learning. Learning achievement using internet-based learning is higher than the learning achievement using conventional learning, but the learning achievement using internet-based learning is more significant in improving student's learning achievement. ICT-based learning that can improve learning achievement is evident from the analysis of this study researchers provide advice to teachers in teaching and learning process using ICT-based learning that can improve student achievement.Keywords:Powerpoint, internet, learning achievement SMA Negeri 1 Sungai Tabuk telah mempunyai sarana dan prasarana dalam pembelajaran berbasis TIK, tetapi dalam proses belajar mengajar guru di SMA Negeri 1 Sungai Tabuk kurang memanfaatkan TIK yang telah dimiliki. Dengan kurangnya pembelajaran berbasis TIK, sehingga pembelajaran kurang menarik dan inovatif dan membosankan. Dalam hal ini kurang meningkatkan   motivasi dan prestasi belajar di SMA Negeri 1 Sungai Tabuk. Pendekatan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan kuantitatif, karena penelitian ini disajikan dengan angka-angka. Penentuan sampel menggunakan teknik probabilitas sampling. Dari hasil penelitian yang dilakukan, adanya perbedaan prestasi belajar dari pembelajaran berbasis powerpoint dengan pembelajaran konvensional. Prestasi belajar yang menggunakan pembelajaran berbasis powerpoint lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan prestasi belajar yang menggunakan pembelajarn konvensional. Dan adanya perbedaan prestasi belajar dari pembelajaran berbasis internet dengan pembelajaran konvensional. Prestasi belajar yang menggunakan pembelajaran berbasis internet lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan prestasi belajar yang menggunakan pembelajaran konvensional, tetapi prestasi belajar yang menggunakan pembelajaran berbasis internet lebih signifikan  dalam peningkatan prestasi belajar siswa.Pembelajaran berbasis TIK yang dapat meningkatkan prestasi belajar yang terbukti dari analisa penelitian ini peneliti memberikan saran kepada guru dalam proses belajar mengajar menggunakan pembelajaran berbasis TIK yang dapat meningkatkan prestasi belajar siswa.Kata Kunci:Powerpoint, Internet, Prestasi Belajar

Abstract

This research found that: (1) description of learning process in SMK Negeri is generally good and using KTSP curriculum. (2) Application of Discipline Learning in Social Study Program in SMK Negeri 3 Marabahan such as discipline in entering the classroom on time after break, neatness of dress discipline, using the completeness or attributes of uniform,  doing homework assignment discipline, discipline of argues, going to school discipline, and so on. application of discipline learning in SMK Negeri 3 is social studies teacher tries to apply implementation of discipline through application of discipline learning with educational sanction such as learning while standing upright in front of the bench for those who does violations such as can not giving opinion, not doing the homework or task, not bringing notebook and LKS book, being late to class, students are not wearing a tie, belt, or other school supplies. Abstract

Applying social awareness to others in everyday life can be interpreted as humans social beings. People who care with each other, interact with each other, respect for others in terms of differences of opinion, ethnicity, race, language and religion. In the context of learning required a strategy planned by teachers by promoting activity or creativity of learners in learning activities in order to shape the character of social awareness by learning model Problem Based Learning (PBL) using pictures as a medium.This type of research is used in a classroom action research (PTK). The study design refers to the model Kemmis & Mc. Taggart system uses a spiral of self-reflection that starts from the plan (plan), action (act), observation (Observe), reflection (Reflect), and re-planning is the basis for troubleshooting steps.The results show if the activity of the teacher in the learning process of 75% to 93.75%, Activities of students from 77.5% to 80.55%, and the provision of learning outcomes from 63.34% to 100%. Application of Problem Based Learning using media images can raise awareness of social class XI IPS in SMA Negeri 1 1 Alalak, with an indication of the value of the learning outcomes of> 70% above. Increased social awareness of learning needs to be realized in the form of student attitudes in interaction with fellow students, the teachers and staff employees at the school.Keywords: Problem-based learning, media image, social awareness Kesadaran sosial terhadap orang lain dalam kehidupan sehari-hari bisa dimaknai manusia sebagai makhluk sosial, yaitu manusia yang peduli dengan sesama, saling berinteraksi, menghargai orang lain dalam hal perbedaan pendapat, suku, ras, bahasa dan agama. Dalam konteks pembelajaran dituntut suatu strategi yang direncanakan oleh guru dengan mengedepankan keaktifan atau kreativitas peserta didik dalam kegiatan belajar mengajar untuk bisa membentuk karakter kesadaran sosial dengan model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning (PBL) menggunakan gambar sebagai media.Jenis penelitian yang digunakan dalam Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK). Desain penelitian mengacu pada model Kemmis & Mc. Taggart yang menggunakan sistem spiral refleksi diri yang dimulai dari rencana (plan), tindakan (act), pengamatan (observe), refleksi (reflect), dan perencanaan kembali yang merupakan dasar untuk langkah pemecahan masalah.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan jika aktivitas guru dalam proses pembelajaran   dari 75% menjadi 93,75%, Aktivitas siswa dari 77,5% menjadi 80,55%, dan ketentuan hasil belajar dari 63,34% menjadi 100%. Penerapan Problem Based Learning menggunakan media gambar dapat meningkatkan kesadaran sosial siswa kelas XI IPS 1 di SMA Negeri 1 Alalak, dengan indikasi nilai hasil belajar > 70% di atas KKM. Peningkatan kesadaran sosial dalam pembelajaran perlu diwujudkan dalam bentuk sikap siswa dalam berinteraksi dengan sesama siswa, dewan guru serta staf karyawan di sekolah.Kata Kunci : Problem based learning, media gambar, kesadaran sosial

Abstract

Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan (SMK) merupakan lembaga pendidikan  yang bertujuan penyiapkan peserta didiknya menjadi tenaga kerja yang terampil melalui kegiatan belajar mengajar maupun praktek atau magang. Tujuan Penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui hubungan perilaku kerja prestatif (selalu ingin maju) dan adversitas quotient (kecerdasan merubah hambatan menjadi sebuah peluang) dengan pembentukan jiwa kewirausahaan siswa kelas XII SMK se Kabupaten Banjar. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa 1) Siswa kelas XII SMK se-Kabupaten Banjar yang memiliki Perilaku kerja prestatif pada kategori sedang, sebanyak 59 siswa dari 87 siswa.  2) Siswa yang memiliki Adversty Quotient yang tergolong tipe quitters berjumlah 25 siswa, tipe campers berjumlah 39 siswa dan tipe climbers berjumlah 23 siswa. 3) Pembentukan jiwa kewirausahaan siswa dapat dikategorikan pada golongan sedang yang berjumlah 56 siswa dari 87 siswa 4) Terdapat hubungan yang signifikan dan positif antara perilaku kerja prestatif dengan pembentukan jiwa kewirausahaan siswa sebesar r = 0,631, kekuatan hubungannya dapat dikategorikan adalah kuat 5) Terdapat hubungan yang signifikan dan positif antara adversity quotient pada tipe climbers sebesar r = 0,950, tipe campers sebesar r =0,954 dan tipe quitters sebesar r = 0,963  dengan pembentukan jiwa kewirausahaan siswa, kekuatan hubungannya dapat dikategorikan sangat kuat 6) Terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara perilaku kerja prestatif dengan adversity quotient pada tipe climbers sebesar r = 0,959 , tipe campers sebesar r = 0,913 dan tipe quitters sebesar r =  0,879, kekuatan hubungannya dapat dikategorikan sangat kuat 7) Terdapat hubungan yang signifikan dan positif antara perilaku kerja prestatif dan adversity quotient dengan pembentukan jiwa kewirausahaan siswa sebesar r = 0,661, kekuatan hubungannya dapat  dikategorikan kuat 8) Terdapat hubungan yang sangat kuat antara pembentukan jiwa kewirausahaan siswa dengan tipe climbers sebesar r = 0,994, tipe campers sebesar r = 0.996 dan tipe quitters sebesar r = 0,993, setelah dikendalikan oleh perilaku kerja prestatif.Kata Kunci: Perilaku kerja prestatif, adversity quotient, pembentukan jiwa kewirausahaan
