Abstract

Death is something that will definitely happen but it is uncertain when it will come. ForHindus death is the process of the soul's journey to Paramatman. So that the journey of the Atmadoes not have obstacles it needs to be assisted by carrying out the death ceremony, hereinafterreferred to as Pitra Yad. Pitra yadnya implementation is one way to break away from the tri tiesof citizens in order to achieve happiness now and happiness to come. The meaning of the deathceremony according to the Yama Purwana Tattwa Text is to accelerate the process of the unionof souls with paramatman. Through this understanding of theology of death it is hoped thatHindus can choose the desired form of death ceremony according to their preferred character,and even write a will to their families about the desired form of death ceremony in accordancewith their beliefs, even though in essence the titles of Brahma, Vishnu, Shiva or Mahadeva aredesignations for The almighty God, namely Brahman himself.

Abstract

The UNESCO report has established four pillars of education as the basis for educationin the global era: (1) learning to know, learning to learn, (2) learning to do so, learners usingtheir knowledge to develop skills, (3) learning, while learners use their knowledge and skills tolive, and (4) learning to live together, mutual learning mutual understanding requires mutualrespect for human beings. The follow-up of the educational foundation is the emergence oforientation towards the establishment of competence in accordance with the demands of the realworld. Field observations show that the scoring system used by teachers in general is a paperand pencil test because it is considered practical enough in the sense that it does not require alot of energy, cost and time. Good judgment refers to an evaluation of student performance as awhole and produces assumptions about learning and production of the wise, including qualityor achievement of tasks such as tests, projects, reports and examinations. This is offered by theAuthentic Assessment because authentic assessment is the usual learning standard, whether theassessment is standard or alternative, must include theory, technique, practice, application andoutcome. Authentic assessment in accordance with the UNESCO report. There is a CriticalAccess link as the backbone of the competency-based curriculum. And there is a relationshipbetween applying authentic assessments to the curriculum. There are several challenges thattend to occur when the application of authentic assessment is done in learning.

Abstract

Character education can be integrated in learning on any subject. Learning materialsrelated to norms or values in each subject need to be developed, exported, and attributed to thecontext of daily life. Thus, learning character values is not only on the cognitive level, buttouching on internalization, and the real practice in the lives of daily learners in the community.In this study there are several problems that will be discussed namely: (1) How is the role ofBalinese language in shaping the character? and (2) How is the implementation of charactereducation in Balinese language? Balinese language and literary works have a very importantrole in facing the life of Balinese people who have character in accordance with the purpose ofnational character education. Balinese language is not outdated, does not appreciate the nationallanguage. But this is a Balinese form of character that truly characterizes the Balinese. This isa form of local wisdom that later if still sustainable will have a broader impact on improvingintelligence, benefit in social life, love of ancestral heritage, and will ultimately affect the Theworld of Bali's tourism that features culture and more breadth will scent our beloved countrynamely Indonesia.

Abstract

This study aims to (1) know the mastery of the Buddhist education teacher on teachingmaterials, and the development of teaching materials. In addition in this study also aims (2) toknow the teacher's understanding in terms of the assessment used. This research is an evaluationresearch. That is an evaluation of the learning program of the Buddhist education teacher, interms of carrying out his duties, in the field of mastery and development of teaching materials,as well as his assessment model. Discrepency model is used to determine the level of conformitybetween the standards that have been determined in the program and the actual performance ofthe program. The results show that the mastery of the Buddhist education teacher on the teachingmaterial to be delivered is still imperfect and incomplete. The understanding of the teacher indeveloping teaching materials is still too far from the competencies that should be. The teacher'sunderstanding in terms of assessment is still imperfect, and the teacher's understanding of thedevelopment of assessment models that are in accordance with Buddhist education material, isstill in sufficient category, teachers are still limited in the use of older models, with standardmodels such as multiple choice instrument-based assessment models.

Abstract

At present the harmony of religious life in the midst of cultural diversity is a very expensiveand increasingly difficult asset to find in the life of the nation and state in Indonesia. Abstract

Academic supervision is a form of assistance from supervisors to improve the quality ofschool management and develop the competence of teachers to become professional educators.Efforts to create a good and conducive teaching and learning situation are not denied by variousnegative factors that arise by inhibiting the process to achieve the goals that have been set. Inthe end all organizational activities must be monitored with good, effective, efficient and systematicsupervision. The form of school supervisor services is directed towards improving and improvingthe competence of teachers to be professional educators. For this reason, the presence of schoolsupervisors as supervisors in the education unit is very important to conduct periodic monitoring,in order to build an integrated, patterned and integrated education system so that the goals ofteaching can be achieved. The supervision action is as guidance, not as examiner, so that theform of the problems faced can be solved easily, quickly and unsustainably. Abstract

The existence of satua as one of cultural heritages in Balinese society has greatcharacterised educational values, which could be early formula in giving the characterisededucation towards the children by providing them a lot interesting stories. One of them isKatuturan I Kedis Sangsiah teken I Bojog. The problem which is focused in this research is toconcern about the values in this story which are aimed to describe the whole values of thecharacterised education. Theories which are used in this research in the theory of Thomas Lickonaand the structural approach toward the literature works. Method which is used in this researchis qualitative descriptive method, with the research model using content analysis. The techniqueof colleting data for this research is the recording note. The data source is the spoken data fromthe informant, towards the satua as the spoken literature. The techniques of analyzing data forthis research are (1) the transcription of recorded data (2) translation, (3) Data classification,(4) Structure analysis, (5) Data test, the result is the conclusion of the research, that in the satuaKatuturan I Kedis Sangsiah teken I Bojog provides great characterised educational values; thevalue of tattwa about karma phala, about how we think, say an do the good deeds ( Tri KayaParisudha). Besides religious value, there are also the value of social educations such as justice,self autonomy and wisdom.

Abstract

This study consists of compilation of information from the literatures and researcheson teacher preparedness in creating lesson plan which implement Curriculum 2013. This methodis called "Meta-Analysis". The analysis used in this study are series of quantitative analyticaltechniques that allow the synthesis of various researches in one topic. Based on the findingsabove, some alternative policies can be given as follows: providing opportunities and supportfor teacher to continue to higher education, supervising both class and administrative work,optimizing teachers? participation in workshop for the implementation of curriculum 2013,utilizing integrated thematic technology-based learning media, conducting action researcheson learning activities for Curriculum 2013, conducting problem solving and self evaluation forthe learning process in Curriculum 2013 and conducting comparative studies to other schoolsthat have become pilot projects of Curriculum 2013 especially qualified schools that are able toimplement this curriculum both in classroom and out-of-class learning processes. Thus, theteachers? preparedness in designing the lesson plans based on Curriculum 2013 can be completedin accordance with the plan, guidelines and demands in standard of process.

Abstract

Good culture needs to be identified and maintained. These cultural forms in the contextof their preservation need to be explored in depth. Related to sekar rare is very closely related tothe belief in Ida Sang Hyang Widhi Wasa and the srada bhakti aspect. Based on this existence, itis necessary to conduct a study of the literature of the song, especially Sekar Rare. The center ofattention is Religious education in Sekar Rare. Based on the existence of Sekar Rare, the divisioncan be identified based on its shape and characteristics, namely: Gending Rare, Gending Janger,and Gending Sanghyang. Sekar Rare can also be used as an educational medium including: Therole as an educational medium for the introduction of language structures, as a medium for theintroduction of the environment, as a medium for the introduction of nature, as a medium forcharacter formation. In addition, in Sekar Rare the values ??of religious education include; thevalue of religious education related to ethics and character and the value of religious educationare related to the concept of karmapala.

Abstract

This study aims to determine (1) differences in students ' science learning achievementafter learning by using a scientific approach aided the portfolio assessment, (2) differences instudents' science learning achievement after learning by using a scientific approach aidedassessment portfolio, after controling the learning variable styles, and (3) contribution ofcovariates learning style on science learning achievement in IV grade of SD Negeri 4 KampungBaru. The type of this study is pre-experimental study with research design with one grouppretest posttest design. The study population was all students in IV grade on A class of SD N 4Banjar Tegal at 2014/2015 academic year and consisting of 28 students. This research sample isIV grade on A class of SD Negeri 4 Kampung Baru and the totaling 28 students selected to studycensus techniques. Data collection instruments used in this study is the science achievement testand test Learning Styles. Data were analyzed using descriptive and inferential statistics. Basedon the results of the data analysis, the results are as follows. First there are significant differencesof science student learning achievement after learning by using scientific approach assistedassessment portfolio (Fhitung = 62.642> Ftabel = 4.22), second, there is a significant differenceon students' science learning achievement after learning by using a scientific approach aidedthe portfolio assessment after learning styles are controlled the variable (F count = 45.526>Ftabel = 4.22), and third, there are a significant contribution on covariates learning stylestoward students' science learning achievement (Fhitung = 0.505> Ftabel = 0.374).Keywords: Learning Achievement, Scientific Approach, Learning Style
