Abstract

Self awareness is a condition where the individual is able to realize the advantages and disadvantages possessed, able to realize the interests that have to be channeled properly. Self-awareness and self-knowledge leads to quality life stages, not only in socializing and interacting with others, but also to direct and develop oneself, to help career education planning, to solve social personal problems realistically, to adapt to changes in life. The purpose of the study was to determine the effect of Biblioterapi technique on self-awareness of the students of class XI of Computer And Network Technology (TKJ) SMK Negeri 1 Tanjung Kabupaten Lombok Utara. The data collection methods used in this study in the form of a questionnaire as the main method while the interview, documentation and observation as a complement method, data analysis using t-test formula. The results of this research data analysis obtained 8.179 and after consultation with ttable at the level of significance 5% with d.b 11 obtained 2.201. This means that t count is greater than ttable (8.179> 2.201). So it can be concluded that there is influence of Biblioterapi technique to self-awareness of class XI students Computer And Network Technology (TKJ) SMK Negeri 1 Tanjung Kabupaten Lombok Utara.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dimaksudkan untuk memahami perilaku menyontek siswa dari perspektif self-regulation moral. Total 3 laki-laki dan 1 perempuan dilibatkan sebagai responden dalam studi kasus ini. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan ada enam bentuk pemikiran atau alasan yang mendasari perilaku menyontek. Selain itu, hasil penelitian juga menunjukkan beberapa upaya yang dapat dilakukan untuk mengurangi perilaku menyontek.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to increase motivation and student learning outcomes after the earthquake in SMP Negeri 1 Gangga through the application of a Pocket Book with a scientific approach. The research method used was classroom action research consisting of 4 stages, namely planning, action implementation, observation and reflection. The research instruments used were observation sheets and tests. While the data of this research were analyzed through descriptive qualitative and qualitative analysis techniques. The results of the study showed that the application of a Pocket Book with a scientific approach had been able to increase motivation and student learning outcomes. This could be proved by data of all classroom action research activities which had showed improvements starting from pre-action, cycle 1 and cycle II.

Abstract

This study aimed to determine the level of students? activity during the learning biology with implementing of Memory, Matrix Cards and Tournaments methods through scientific approaches. The study was conducted at class XI IPA 4 and class XI IPA 5 semester 2 in academic year 2016/2017 with the number of students as a sample was 64 students. Students? activity was measured through indicators: (1) the students carried out the tasks which was assigned in groups; (2) students? willingness to ask questions on issues didn?t know yet; (3) the students didn?t concern with other difficultiesin the group; (4) students participated in answering the problem; and (5) students provided ideas or opinions. Students? activity was measured using observation sheet in involving three (3) teachers. The data of Students? activity observing were measured using a scale of 4 (four) with a range of 1-4 where 1 = not active, 2 = less active, 3 = active, and 4 = very active. The data which was gotten then converted into a scale of values 1-100. Students? activity was observed when the students acquired learning biology using memory, the matrix cardand tournaments methods. The data ofstudents? activity in each method were collected in 3 (three) meetings of each method. The results showed that the students? activity with cards method was 76.76, with a memory matrix method was 76.14, and the tournament method was 81.8

Abstract

This paper is aimed at arguing chapter 9, 10 and 11 of the book ?Bilingual Community Education and Multilingualism: Beyond a Heritage Language in a Global City by Ofelia Garcia, ZeenaZakharia, and BaharOtcu?, published in 2013. Arguing those three chapters, the reviewer explore the issue deeply, give arguments on the strengths and weaknesses of their analysis,and finally, the reviewer takes a conclusion.Examining these chapters, the reviewer identified that in chapter 9, the author showed the issue interestingly. Also, the authors were very good at presenting the issue of heritage language initiatives.It is obvious also to see that the way the writers presented the certain phrases add an attractiveness to read this chapter.However, it is hard not to argue that the authors have some constraints to explore deeply on specific languages of Africa. Since there are various languages in African society. In Chapter 10, the reviewer would say that the authors have shown their expertise perfectly, since they addressed the issue in a very comprehensive way on how and why the Iranian community in New York engage in bilingual community education, In Chapter 11, the authors showed their strength of the analysis. Also, the strength of this chapter is on the way the authors show their good knowledge politically by explaining what happened in the mid- 2000s in U.S. policy, and the implication of this policy. In chapter 10 and 11, the reviewers didn?t identify the weaknesses of the author.

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to improve the students learning achievement of Social Sciences (IPS) in class IX-C of SMP Negeri 4 Praya by using Make A-Match learning method. This research used classroom action research methods and was carried out at the fourth class of IX-C in the even semester of the academic year 2018/2019 with 39 students, in which 16 male students and 23 female students. The sequence of research activities included: (1) Planning, (2) Implementation of actions, (3) Observation, (4) Reflection. The result of the study showed that Make-a Match method was proven to improve the students learning achievement as seen in the result of recapitulation of each cycle from the first cycle, in which 26 students or 65% were said to be complete and 13 students or 33% were not complete, and in the second cycle 37 students or 92.31% were said to be complete and 3 students or 7.69% had not been complete. From the recapitulation result of each cycle above, it was seen that cycle I to cycle II increased by 4.57%. Thus, it can be concluded that the use of Make-a Match learning method can improve the students learning achievement of Social Sciences (IPS) in class IX-C of SMP Negeri 4 Praya in the year of 2018/2019.

Abstract

This study aims to improve students' ability to produce Recount text through personalization by Three Phases Techniques method. This research uses classroom action research method. This PTK is conducted within 3 (three) cycles in which each cycle lasts for 3 meetings, and each meeting takes 2 x 45 minutes. Evaluation results in each cycle show significant progress. In the first cycle, the average score reached 77.60 students with the percentage of completeness reached 81.39%, based on 75K Maximum Criterion (KKM) 75.00. In the second cycle, the average value of students increased to 79.90% with the percentage of completeness reached 83.72%. Because the percentage of mastery has not reached the classical completeness requirement (85%), then proceed with the third cycle. Results of the third cycle showed that the average value of students increased to 83.80% and the percentage of completeness reached 95.30%. This indicates that in this cycle there has been a classical completeness in which the minimum standard is 85%. Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze and describe how the relationship between conformity and consumer behavior towards online shopping in adolescents. The research design was carried out using a quantitative-non experimental approach. The study population was adolescents in the scope of the Guidance and Counseling study program at the University of PGRI Madiun. The research sample amounted to 72 students. The sampling technique or sampling technique used in this study is a simple random sampling technique. The technique of data collection is done by a Likert scale. The analysis technique uses simple regression analysis with the help of SPSS Statistical computer programs. The results showed that based on the regression analysis test obtained a significance level of 0.00 (p <0.050; significant), meaning that there was a positive relationship between conformity and consumptive behavior towards online shopping in adolescents. From the results of the study, the suggestions that can be conveyed that consumptive behavior can be avoided by making a shopping plan so that expenditure is not excessive and can control themselves is an important factor in reducing consumptive behavior in adolescents

Abstract

This study aims to find the effectiveness of STAD type cooperative learning (CL) approach in an effort to improve students' learning motivation in grade VII-E SMP Negeri 5 Mataram. The benefit of this research is as references in the implementation of the learning process in the real class. For teachers,it is to improve competence in the teaching process and for students to improve learning motivation that impacts on students? learning outcomes. This research was conducted two cycles and the activity for each cycle is; planning, action, observation and reflection. The final result of action in cycle II showed that the teacher observation result got average score (4,21) and the student observation reached average score (4,09). The impact of the increase in the students? learning motivation reached the average value (87.94), meaning that indicator of the success (> 4.0) had been exceeded. Because the success indicator has been proven that the research is claimed successful and stopped in cycle II.

Abstract

The background study of this research was result of students? mathematic achievement at fifth gradeof SDN 10 Mataram on FPB and KPK material was low. It caused by teachers didn?t use props which suitablein learning process. To solve problem above, it was conducted action with using props cart factor to improveresult of students? mathematic achievement at fifth grade students of SDN 10 Mataram on FPB and KPKmaterials. Stage of this research consisted of planning, acting, observing, evaluating and reflecting. Subject ofthis research was all of fifth grade students of SDN 10 Mataram was 47 students, consisted of 21 femalestudents and 26 male students. Data of this research was result of students? learning achievement and teachers?activities and students? activities. Result of students? learning was gotten with giving test and data of teachers?activities and students? activities was gotten through observation sheet. Score of students? activities was 20,66and teachers? activities was 22,68 with very good category. And mean score of students was 79,02. That scoreshowed that there is improved from previous year got score 66,54. Beside that classical completeness wasimproved from academic year 2013/2014 with percentage of completeness was 32,61% become 85,11% inacedemic year 2014/2015. Conclusion of using prop cart factor was prop cart factor could improve result oflearning achievement on FPB and KPK materials at fifth grade students of SDN 10 Mataram.
