Abstract

This research is to improve the Character of Child Cooperation through playing blocks aged 4-5 years in the Pusaka Indah Karang Paci Samarinda Kindergarten 2018/2019 Learning Year which is conducted on children aged 4-5 years, totaling 16 children. The research was conducted in 2 cycles, starting with the pre-cycle, the first cycle, the second cycle each carried out as much as 2 meetings with 2 times the learning process. Data analysis techniques use qualitative description analysis, which is a research method that is describing reality or facts in accordance with the data obtained. The results of the research in each cycle can be seen as follows, This can be seen from the results of the pre-cycle average value obtained 24.47%, classified as Not Developing, in the first cycle increased an average of 33.80%, classified as Starting Developing, and at the second cycle increased again with an average of 56.73% classified as Developing as Expected. From the results of this study in each of the above cycles, it can be said that the use of beams can improve the cooperation character of children aged 4-5 years. Based on the results of the study that through playing the beam can improve the collaboration character of children aged 4-5 years in the Karang Paci Samarinda Heritage Park. With the implementation of this class it is hoped that schools, especially teachers, will use this method because the method of playing beams can improve the character of child collaboration.

Abstract

To improve students' cognitive, most educational institutions always prioritize IQ intellectual intelligence only when creativity is important. This study aims to determine whether the media card letters can improve the cognitive abilities of children group B play group Anggrek Muara Badak year Teaching 2015/2016 or not. Research subjects in this study were children Anggrek play group A Muara Badak which amounted to sixteen children, consisting of nine boys and seven daughters. This research is a classroom action research. This research was conducted in two cycles, namely cycle one and Cycle two, with each stage, that is planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. Data collection techniques used are observations in the form of teacher and student observation sheets, and documentation, Data analysis methods used descriptive analysis with qualitative approach. Classroom Action Research is conducted collaboratively with peers, researchers here act as teachers and peers acting as observers or observers. From the results of the discussion can be concluded that the cartuhuruf media of cardboard can improve the cognitive abilities of children in group B children in play group Anggrek Muara Badak Year Teaching 2015/2016. Can improve. This can be seen in the percentage increase that occurs the average completeness of the achievement of the letters of children recognition achieving the indicator of Excellent Growth before the action is 0.00% to 40.63% in cycle one and after some improvement in cycle two reached 79.67% or twelve children out of six twelve children have reached the Very Good Growing indicator. (2) The teacher gives positive reinforcement to the child, (3) The teacher or researcher teaches by giving praise orally so that children are motivated and feel appreciated. From this research, it can be concluded that the use of letter card media can improve cognitive ability of group B children playing Anggrek Muara Badak in academic year 2015/2016. For that reason that in improving cognitive abilities of children, teachers are advised to use the letter card media.

Abstract

This research entitled "Influence standard of facilities and infrastructure to the effectiveness of learning in Kindergarten Al-Firdaus "the problem discussed in this research is how much influence the means of prasana to KBM process that exist in kindergarten Al pardaus, purpose of this research to know influence of facility and infrastructure to effectiveness KBM TK Al Firdaus. Methods in the study using descriptive correlational analysis, Vareabel Implementation of Standard Means and Infrastructure (X) is one of the resources that must be managed and improved continuously along with the development of science and technology, Vareabel Learning Effectiveness (Y) a deliberate, purposive, and controlled effort in order for others to learn or relative permanent change in others / or institution / kindergarten Alfirdaus, data processing in this study using statistical methods assisted excel program 2007 and SPSS 17.0. Based on the results of research data obtained through a questionnaire-shaped instrument, then given a score on each alternative answers given by the respondent in accordance with the weight that has been set. Each statement in the three variables has 5 answer criteria with scoring starting from 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5 with terms for statements calculated with the results of descriptive calculations. Classroom conditions in kindergarten Al-Firdaus 13.33% - 26.67% in lightly damaged condition, while the rest is very suitable to use. Learning media such as props, learning etc. are also complete, which is very concerned is the school computers that achieve 40-60% damage even more inadequate amounts are also specifications that lag far behind. Based on the research results can be concluded that one effort that can be done to improve the Effectiveness of Learning in kindergarten Al Firdaus is by improving facilities and infrastructure.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the development of children's creativity through constructive play activities using media blocks. Constructive play is a form of game by using physical objects to build or create things. This game occurs when children engage in a creation or construction of a product or a problem solving of their own creation. This research is a Classroom Action Research (PTK) or Classroom Action Research. This study was conducted in two cycles. Subjects in this study were group A semester II of Kindergarten Alifea academic year 2016/2017, as many as 13 children (5 women and 8 men) with the aspect that is assessed that is participation, attention, independence, creativity and ability to tell. Data creativity of children in constructive play with media beam collected by using the method of observation with the instrument in the form of observation format sheet. Research data were obtained and analyzed qualitatively. Based on the results of data analysis obtained is on the first cycle of 46.1%, Cycle II obtained data of 81.5% So there is an increase in creativity development from cycle I to cycle II of 35.4%

Abstract

Children cannot use their fine motoric skill well in paper-tearing activity. It seems that there are still many children who do not participate in the paper tearing activity, as exemplified by the teacher. This is proven when children do paper tearing activities. The aim of this research is to improve children's fine motor skills through paper tearing on children aged 4-5 years. The method used in this study is classroom action research (CAR) and a descriptive research which carried out in two cycles consisting of 3 meetings in each cycle. Research procedures that were carried out in this study were planning, implementation, observation and reflection. The subjects of this study were 19 children aged 4-5 years, consisted of 7 boys and 12 girls. The results showed that the children's fine motor skills improved compared to the pre-cycle phase. In cycle I, there was an increase from pre-cycle with an average value of 31.3% to 60.9% through the first, second and third meeting and succeeded in the second cycle through the first, second and third meeting with an average value of 87.4% in which this value has reached the target of success indicator that is 85%. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that paper tearing activity can improve children aged 4-5 years? fine motoric skills and it is suggested to kindergarten teachers to make paper tearing activities as a media for improving children's fine motoric skills.

Abstract

This research aims to find out how to improve the independence of children aged 4-5 years through the method of storytelling with finger puppets in TK Pelangi Tenggarong Seberang in periode 2016/2017. This type of research using class action research methods (PTK) implemented in three cycles. The object of this research totalled 16. The data collection technique used was the observation that in the form of sheet of ebservations and documentation of the teacher and the student, while the results were analyzed using a quantitative descriptive method. The results of the analysis of the data indicates that an increase in cycle I became of 30.99% with. Cycle II increased to 58.86% with. Then in cycle III rose to 85.41% with appropriate expectations and growing category is growing very well. Conclusion on studies, that the application of the method of storytelling with finger puppets can increase self-sufficiency in children aged 4-5 years old in TK Pelangi about 77,60%.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the Introduction to Science in Early Childhood in Early Childhood Education Shabwa Amanah kindergarten of Ulin, Liang Anggang, Banjarbaru. The subjects in this study were 1 science introduction teacher and A group children consist 12 children. The data analysis in this research used Milles and Huberman which was conducted interactively using data consisting of reductions, presenting data, and conclusion (coding).Based on the results of this study indicate that the introduction of science in early childhood in Shabwa Amanah kindergarten of Ulin, Liang Anggang, Banjarbaru with introduces the concept of science in the form of mixing water with soap into small bubbles, sinking and floating, color changes and water absorption using 1) Demonstration method, the experimental method, the conversation method (question and answer), the assignment method, the play method, and the singing method. 2.) the media used are visual media in the form of realia media and audio-visual media using laptops and speakers 3.) The assessment given is in the form of assigning games to children, observing assessments, evaluating through conversation, as well as the children products .

Abstract

This study aims to find out how the experiment method in improving student?s understanding on concept of weight for students aged 3 to 4. This study was conducted in Az-zaitun Genting Tanah Pre-school. The research subjects were twelve students of group B aged three to four, consisting of five males and seven females. The researcher applied classroom action research with two cycles, applying four stages; planning, implementation, observation and reflection. The result shows that students? understanding on weight concept has increased. At the first cycle, students? understanding reached 36% and increased into 79% at the second cycle. In conclusion, the experiment method is effective in improving students? understanding on weight concept. Therefore, it is suggested that teacher to give stimulation and practice for improving students? understanding weight concept.

Abstract

This study concerns with students? low learning motivation issue. At the preliminary observation, only 33.3% students were reported to be in the good level of learning motivation. Moreover, classroom action research was conducted to reveal the effectiveness of using used materials as teaching aids in terms of promoting students? learning motivation. In this study, the researcher applied two cycles, wherein, each cycle consists of planning, implementation, observation and reflection. Observation and documentation were employed to collect data. Meanwhile, percentage technique was used to analyze the data. In addition, this study involved 30 students of Dharma Mulya Playgroup. The first cycle shows progress with 47% students reached the passing grade that falls into fair criteria. However, at the second cycle, students? progress in motivation increased, since 85.6% students had achieved the passing grade and were categorized in very good criteria. In conclusion, using used materials in teaching (as a method of playing) was able to promote learning motivation of Group B at Dharma Mulya Playgroup Tenggarong Seberang.

Abstract

Character education is a necessity because education does not only make students smarter, but also has to have character and manners so that its existence as a member of society becomes meaningful to itself. Ages 5-6 years need to be introduced about values about good and bad, right and wrong from an early age. This is expected so that what has been introduced to children from an early age can be embedded and attached until the child grows and develops in the next stage. The form of teaching in forming a good person is one of them with character education. Character education needs to be optimized. One way to optimize character education is through role playing centers. This study aims to optimize character education in early childhood through role playing centers. Data is collected through observation, field notes, interviews, and documentation. This research is a type of classroom action research. This research was carried out collaboratively between principals, class teachers and researchers. The action aims to improve the character values of children through role play centers. Research activities include: planning, implementing, collecting data and analyzing information data. This research was conducted at an early childhood education institution at PAUD Lab School Ikip Pgri Jember. The results of the study found that role playing centers can be used as an effort to optimize character education for early childhood through: Habitual understanding of behavior in role playing, The emergence of Self Awareness in Children in Role Playing, Understanding of Dialogues about Character Values.
