Abstract

The purpose of this study innovation was to create learning motivation in learning subjects of Natural Sciences (IPA) Physics by developing software in making PowerPoint as MPI (multimedia interactive learning). Implementation of learning innovation consisted of several stages, including planning, implementation, observation, and back reflection. Which each stage was intended to optimized the development of a multimedia PowerPoint, good planning, or in the application of learning. The success of learning innovation was when Interactive multimedia learning was effective in creating learning motivation, which was visible from the motivation questionnaire data showed more than 70% of students scored better criterion of achievement motivation, observation sheet on both criteria, and 60% achieved learning outcomes above the KKM. Results of learning innovations showed the effectiveness of multimedia interactive learning in creating motivation to learn, which was visible from questionnaire data motivational cycle into one reached 83% in both criteria, and the cycle into two reached 92% in both criteria, the data backed up from the observation sheet that showed each stage of learning the criteria, and the learning outcome data that showed the results of more than 60% reached the KKM. The data showed the development of PowerPoint as a multimedia interactive learning effective in creating learning motivation.

Abstract

Qualitative analysis is used to determine the profile of prospective officers' cognitive abilities in understanding the concepts of seawater mechanics (motion mechanics, wave mechanics, and liquid mechanics) as well as difficulties that hinder their learning motivation. The final part is a SWOT analysis to find the right strategy to improve the cognitive abilities of prospective officers. The study was conducted on 45 prospective state shipping polytechnic officers in Central Java who had met the qualifications to sail. The results showed that the cognitive abilities of prospective officers in linking the concept of the essence of seawater mechanics to an event included in the category need to be improved by prospective officers personally in order to add skills that support the mastery of today's technology as a challenge to the industrial era 4.0. In addition there are still misconceptions about the flow of water flowing through different barriers or media, errors in finding the cause and effect of the specific gravity of a substance, and errors in writing symbols on a physical quantity. Prospective officers have not been able to relate the concept of surface tension and continuity equations to an event. Difficulties in mastering physics material begin with difficulty finding learning time because of the many activities outside teaching and learning hours. The SWOT strategy is to improve the profile of cognitive abilities by optimizing the strength of ship officers and shipping polytechnics to reduce weakness and be stable to threats.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of puppet numbers learning media on the cognitive abilities of children in recognizing the number symbol. The type of research is a quasi-experimental research. The research design used Post Test Only Control Group Design. The study population was a child of group A in second semester TK PGRI Tanggel Winong Academic Year 2017/2018 totaling 50 children. Data was collected using an observation sheet. The data obtained were analyzed using descriptive and inferential statistical analysis techniques, namely t-test. The results of data analysis using t-test, it is known tcount= 15.37 and t table with a significance level of 5% = 0.2021. The results of these calculations show that t count > t table , so the results of the study are significant. The average M% in the experimental group was 88%, in the high category and in the control group 66% in the low category. These results prove that there is a significant influence on the implementation of puppet numbers learning media on cognitive abilities in recognizing the numbers symbol. Then it has a positive effect on classroom learning.

Abstract

Industry in Indonesia need to have a Human Resources (HR) which is able to compete with the HR of other countries. The utilization of modern Technology in the process of learning in Vocational schools (VS) which have the purpose of preparing students to be able to deal with the needs of the industrialized world. The purpose of this research is to know the importance of learning-based blended learning in Vocational School to prepare HR of Indonesia facing industry 4.0. The research method used is the literature review. The journal used as the Foundation of thinking is related to the journal-based learning, blended learning with the world of industry. The research found that the blended learning-based learning, capable of providing a better knowledge about the industrial world so that students can learn the industrialized world who want students go well.

Abstract

The quality of the learning process appears in the form of achieving national education standards. Standards that have been determined to guide all learning process activities, starting from planning, implementation and evaluation. Integrated PAUD laboratory of Belia is one of the formal education institutions that oversees the learning process by implementing an internal quality assurance system to ensure that the learning process is guaranteed and in accordance with national education standards. From this study it is known that the quality assurance of the learning process, Integrated Childhood Education Lab. Belia has a policy referring to the applicable regulations and internal policies made by the institution. Policies in the learning process include quality mapping, quality fulfilment planning, implementation of quality fulfilment, monitoring and evaluation of the implementation of quality fulfilment and the establishment of new quality standards. The mechanism of the quality assurance system of the learning process carried out in the Integrated Early Childhood Education Laboratory is conducted through five stages, namely; quality mapping, preparation of quality fulfilment plans, quality fulfilment, quality evaluation / auditing, and preparation of new quality standards above the National Education Standards. There are several excellent programs that are implemented in the Integrated Early Childhood Education Laboratory, including implementing excellence-based learning on storytelling and the most important there are also English day programs, dinten boso jawi and parenting as well as forming referral classes.

Abstract

Penelitian  ini  bertujuan  untuk  meningkatkan  motivasi  dan  hasil  belajar  siswa  materi sitem gerak dengan menggunakan model Problem Based Learning (PBL) di kelas VIII H SMP Negeri 5 Semarang. Jenis penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas dengan metode deskriptif. Subyek penelitian  adalah seluruh siswa kelas VIII H SMP Negeri 5 Semarang. Prosedur penelitian dilakukan dalam dua siklus, masing-masing siklus terdiri dari 4 tahapan, yaitu 1) perencanaan, 2) pelaksanaan, 3) pengamatan 4) refleksi. Variabel penelitian  ini  adalah  model  Problem  Based  Learning  (PBL),  motivasi  belajar  siswa,  dan  hasil  belajar  siswa.  Teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, kuesioner,  dan tes. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan adalah lembar observasi, lembar kuesioner dan lembar tes. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diperoleh rata-rata skor motivasi belajar siswa 34,38 % pada siklus I meningkat menjadi 71,87% pada siklus II dengan kriteria tinggi atau meningkat 37,49%. Hasil penelitian itu menunjukkan bahwa terjadi peningkatan hasil belajar siswa pada siklus I dengan nilai rata-rata 78,87 menjadi 86,25 atau meningkat 7,38% . Jumlah peserta didik yang tuntas belajar meningkat dari  20 peserta didik  menjadi  31 peaerta didik  atau sebesar 34,38%. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa model Problem Based Learning dapat meningkatkan motivasi dan hasil belajar siswa materi sistem gerak siswa kelas VIII H SMP Negeri 5 Semarang.

Abstract

Based on documentation study on school performance especially at SMAN 1 Batang before year 2013/2014, still showed less satisfactory result, both academic achievement and non academic. Therefore, the investigators suspect that this is assumed because of poor governance. Researchers believe that school performance is influenced by internal organizational factors reinforced by good school governance principles. The aim of this best practice is to describe the implementation of good school governance through the PADI ASI movement towards an effective school. Good school governance is essentially about a system, process, and set of rules governing relationships between various stakeholders. The GSG is intended to govern this relationship and prevent significant mistakes in corporate strategy and to ensure that errors can be corrected immediately. The technique and data analysis used in this research is a comparative descriptive method, which compares the data before and after the implementation of the problem solving strategy. Based on the theory study and the result of the impact of applying the principles of good school governance through the PADI ASI movement in SMAN 1 Batang, it can be concluded that there is a positive impact on school performance outcomes, both student and teacher achievement, both academic and non academic.

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi yang begitu cepat memaksa pendidikan di banyak sekolah untuk berubah secara drastis. Metode-metode klasik berbentuk ceramah mulai ditinggalkan oleh para pendidik dan beralih kepada metode pembelajaran berbasis program komputer, yang salah satunya adalah Google Edukasi. Tujuan artikel ini adalah untuk mengetahui apakah Google Edukasi dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar peserta didik pada pelajaran Fisika. Metode penulisan artikel ini dengan kajian literatur jurnal penelitian yang relevan. Permasalahan yang dihadapi oleh peserta didik adalah pemahaman konsep Fisika yang dangkal, yang disebabkan oleh metode mengajar yang konvensional. Dengan menggunakan pembelajaran berbasis Google Edukasi peserta didik akan dengan aktif memahami konsep-konsep Fisika, yang melibatkan komunikasi dan kolaborasi antar peserta didik, sehingga meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis dan hasil belajar peserta didik.

Abstract

The role of educational media in the context of education supports the process of the success of a student in understanding the educational material provided. The development of educational media in the form of illustration books with the historical theme of the history of cultural heritage buildings is the aim of this research, especially in the design process of graphic communication courses for the Department of Visual Communication Design in the field of Graphic Design specialization. This research was conducted in order to make an output from the graphic communication course. Illustration books with cultural heritage themes are also used as pre and post- test research studies for elementary school age children to find out how much understanding and absorption of material given to them through visual processing. Illustrations of cultural heritage buildings were developed through direct observation of cultural heritage buildings for later process design in order to create interesting educational media. The research method with ADDIE (Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation) models is used to produce output in the form of educational media design prototypes in the form of illustrated books and then implemented to the design target. Observation data is used to then analyze quantitative descriptive. This illustration book is an example of output material used for graphic communication courses as well as educational media research that is used to see the effectiveness of the media and the potential quality of learning for elementary school children about the historical heritage buildings that are illustrated in the form of illustrative educational media. The results of this study are expected to provide knowledge in the form of process design to students while making it easier for students to absorb learning material.

Abstract

Improved student learning outcomes is the main objective in the process of learning. Many factors influence the improvement of student learning outcomes either intrinsically or extrinsic. One of the intrinsic factors that plays an important role, namely students ' ability in managing emotional (emotional intelligence). Increased emotional intelligence rated important because it is an "asset" that is long term. Many ways that can be done to improve emotional intelligence students, ranging from personal approach among teachers and students, guidance counseling, until by the time the learning process takes place. This research aims to know the influence of the application of the learning Teams model Games Tournament (TGT) against increased Emotional Intelligence (EI) students of Class XI IPS Senior High School in Sukoharjo Regency. Cooperative model type TGT was chosen because it has the stages corresponding to the existing indicators on EI. The method of data collection using the instrument the test results now and learn EI of students. This research uses the associative method with linear regression data analysis techniques is simple and Independent sample test (t-test). The results showed that cooperative learning model type TGT has an impact on EI on students.
