Motivasi: Jurnal Manajemen dan Bisnis is journal that publishes scientific articles in the fields of management and business sciences covering the fields of financial management, human resource management, marketing management, operational management and management information systems that are managed and published by the Management Study Program of the Faculty of Economics and Business of Muhammadiyah University of Palembang. Articles published in the Motivasi: Jurnal Manajemen dan Bisnis include original scientific research results and new scientific review articles from various academics and researchers that have not been published elsewhere. The publishing period is twice a year, namely in June and November.

Abstract

Purpose - This research was conducted on students of FKIP Islamic University OKI (UNISKI) Kayuagung. Unicorn students are required to take entrepreneurship courses and almost all attend creative entrepreneurship training that is regularly held. This research will answer the question whether the provision of courses and training can increase their entrepreneurial interest in the creative economyStock Exchange.Design/methodology  - The  sample  of this study  consisted  of  100students from Fikip Unsiki who were taken at random. The regression model of this study is: Yi = a + b1X1 + b2X2Where :Yi is interested in being a creative entrepreneur. i is an indicator of creative entrepreneurial interest. Namely: 1. The desire to work independently,2. The desire to obtain challenges, 3. The desire to obtain a fluctuating income and not small but stable, and 4. The desire to create something new. Each indicator is given a value on a scale of 5.Findings - The test results show that: 1) Entrepreneurship courses have a positive effect on the creative entrepreneurial interests of Islamic University OKI students. 2) Entrepreneurship training has a positive effect on UNISKI students' creative entrepreneurialinterests.  Design/methodology  - The  sample  of this study  consisted  of  100students from Fikip Unsiki who were taken at random. Abstract

ABSTRACT Purpose - The purpose of this research is to find out how the Effect of Motivation, Discipline and Teaching Ability on the Performance of High School Teachers in the District of Four Lawang.Design/methodology - The design of this study is associative research using a causal relationship. The data used in this study are primary data from the answers of respondents as many as 107 teachers of Public High Schools in Empat Lawang Regency. The analytical method used is multiple linear regression and through testing validity and reliability. Test the data used to determine the characteristics of the data, namely the normality test and linearity test. The model test used consisted of multicollinearity test and heteroscedasticity test.Findings - The results of multiple linear regression testing showed motivation, discipline, and ability together to have a significant effect on teacher performance. Partially motivation has a positive and significant effect on teacher performance, discipline has a positive and significant effect on teacher performance, ability has a positive and significant effect on teacher performance.

Abstract

ABSTRACTPurpose - This study aims to determine the influence of motivation and work discipline on employee performance on PT. Duta Alam Sejahtera Kecamatan  Merapi  Barat Kabupaten Lahat.Design/methodology - The number of samples is 42 respondents. Data were obtained from questions by using a questionnaire consisting of closed and open questions. Respondents' answers were then analyzed by two-stage regression using SPSS (Statistical Package for Social Science) version 22.Findings - Based on the analysis that motivation and work discipline have a significant effect on employee performance with regression coefficient Y = 3,606 + 0,27X1 + 0,651X2 which means if motivation and work discipline variable is not equal to zero (0) then employee performance 3,606.In t test result obtained that motivation and discipline of each work have influence significantly to employee performance at PT. Duta Alam Sejahtera Kecamatan Merapi Barat  Lahat Kabupaten Lahat. In F test found that the variables of motivation and work discipline have a significant influence on employee performance on CV. Sinar Telekom Cluster Lahat.Keywords : Motivation, Work Discipline, and Employee Performance.

Abstract

Purpose - This study aims to determine the effect on employee performance spatial planning.Design/methodology - The analysis conducted on four private company covers 30-500 samples are employees of private companies in the city of Palembang. Testing the hypothesis in this study will be conducted using Structural Equation Model (SEM).Findings – The results showed that the performance can be explained by the variable furniture and the preparation of the physical environment. The individual test results showed that there are two variables : the preparation of the furniture and the physical environment positive effect on performance.

Abstract

Purpose - This study aims to examine the effect of service quality,perceived value and customer satisfaction on customer loyalty ofbank service in Palembang City.Design/methodology - Data collected by questionnaire with thenumber of respondents is 184 respondents and the approach ofsampling technique used is purposive sampling.Findings – The result of the research explain that service qualityhave positive and significant effect on customer loyalty. Perceivedvalue have a positive and significant effect on consumer loyalty.Consumer satisfaction have a positive and significant effect onconsumer loyalty. Then, service quality, perceived value andconsumer satisfaction have a positive and significant effect onconsumer loyalty. The results showed that the convenienceprovided by banking favored by consumers. Therefore, banksshould look for alternative strategies designed to improve services,and interaction between bank employees and consumers.
