Abstract

Strategic alliance is a business strategy undertaken by two or more parties within a specified period to achieve mutual benefits with the principle of mutual need and encouraging. It starts by getting to know prospective partners, knowing the position of the advantages and disadvantages of business, start building a strategy, implement, monitor, and evaluate until the target is reached. Organizational learning processes strategically is pointing to the insight (an effort to find new things) and future outlook. It was de with a tie between knowledge creation with continuous innovation and also impute constant innovation with the competitive advantage.Therefore, strategic knowledge is knowledge that is created as a consequence of the learning process in cooperation (alliance).Key word : Aliancy strategic, strategic knowledge, sustainable competitive advantage

Abstract

Existing human resources in the organization have diversity in the intensity of commitment,based on the condition of this article examine how to develop models of human resourcecommitment in order to improve the performance of human resources. Based on the literaturereview there are seven proposed hypotheses, supported by empirical. The better the communicationquality, the higher the performance of human resources. The better the communicationquality, the higher the commitment affective. The better the communication quality,the higher the commitment continuance. The better the communication quality, the higher thecommitment normative. The higher the affective commitment, the higher the performanceof human resources. More and continuance commitment, the higher the performance of humanresources. The more normative commitment, the higher the performance of human resources.Based on direct, indirect and total human resources performance model, the prioritydevelopment are as follows: Improved performance of human resources is influencedby continuance commitment are built with quality improvement of communication. Improvedperformance of human resources is influenced by normative commitment to the improvementof communication quality built. Improved performance of human resources is influenced byaffective commitment is built with improvement communication. Abstract

This research aims to determine various stock investments with the Capital Asset Pricing Model(CAPM) method, to help investors pick efficient and inefficient stock. The population in thisstudy are all companies listing in Jakarta Islamic Index. The sampling technique used waspurposive sampling method and acquired 16 stocks. The results show that there was positiverelationship or non linear relationship between systematic risk and expected return. There are13 stocks included on efficient and investment decisions should be taken by investors was tobuy efficient stocks, while there are 3 stocks included on inefficient and investment decisionsshould be taken by investors was to sell inefficient stocks.Keywords: Capital Asset Pricing Model (CAPM), Systematic Risk, Investment Decisions

Abstract

Tujuan yang lebih kongkrit dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menguji relevansi dari teori fiskal, teoritrade-off dan teori peking order dalam analisis struktur modal dari perusahaan-perusahaanpublik yang ada di Bursa Efek Indonesia. Dengan menguji teori-teori tersebut di atas akan diperolehinformasi empiris tentang penerapan teori-teori tersebut di perusahaan-perusahaan Indonesia.Kemudian, penelitian ini juga menginvestigasi apakah faktor-faktor yang menentukanstruktur modal perusahaan dapat mempengaruhi struktur hutangya. Untuk mencapai tujuanyang diinginkan, penelitian ini mengumpulkan data dari perusahaan-perusahaan yang terdaftardi Bursa Efek Indonesia dari tahun 2002 hingga tahun 2006. Dari analisis data ditemukan bahwatarif pajak efektif, struktur asset dan ukuran perusahaan menyebabkan adanya pengaruhpositif dan signifikan terhadap rasio hutang perusahaan. Variabel lainnya seperti non debt taxshielddan nilai proftabilitas periode yang lalu membuat efek negative terhadap rasio hutang.Bagi tingkat pertumbuhan perusahaan, penelitian tidak menemukan hubungannya denganrasio hutang. Dan variabel-variabel bebas dapat mempengaruhi rasio hutang secara simultandan secara simultan.Kata Kunci : Fiscal theory, Trade-off Theory, Pecking Order Theory, Capital Structure, and Debt Ratio.

Abstract

Utilization of social media technology for business interests has been widely done both in largecompanies and MSMEs (Micro, Small and Medium Enterprise). Utilization of social media forMSMEs is very important to face the competition in this globalization era. This study empiricallyexamines the antecedents of social media usage and its impact on MSMEs performance basedon the Technology-Organization-Environment framework and Resource Based View theory. Thesurvey method by distributing questionnaires was conducted to MSMEs from various industriesin Magelang. Analysis with SEM-Partial Least Square indicates that customer pressure andmobile environment are significant factors affecting the use of social media. Furthermore, thedimensions of the impact on internal operations, sales, marketing and customer service aresignificant and make the value of social media usage for MSMEs. Technological competenceand competitive pressure does not affect the social media usage for MSMEs.Keywords: social media, SMEs, organization perspective, TOE, RBV

Abstract

Many researchers in behavioural organizational science found that multidimensional effectof commitment variables- effective commitment; continuance commitment and normativecommitment- have different influence to turnover intention. This research aims to investigateinfluence multidimensional effect of commitment to turn over intention and to analyzemultidimensional of commitment as mediator variables. Questionaires distribute amonglectures and nurses of Sultan Agung Fondation amounting 59 respondents. The result usingregression analysis find that all of multidimensional of commitment have no significance toturn over intention and discussed deeply in discussion session.Keywords : Multidimensional, Commitment, Organizational, Turnover Intention

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe and analyze the effect on work motivation, familyand social support dual role conflict to career development. Data were obtained from femalelecturers Unissula Semarang using a questionnaire by 67 respondents. The sampling techniqueusing non-random sampling method. Data analysis method used is multiple linear regression.The results of this study indicate that work motivation variable significant effect on careerdevelopment, family support significant effect on career development, while the dual role conflictno significant effect on career development. Work motivation no significant effect on the conflictof roles, family support does not significantly influence conflict dual role. However, motivationand family support direct effect on career development.Keywords: Motivation Work, Social Support Family, Dual Role Conflict, and Career Development.

Abstract

This study aim stodetermine the effect ofservice quality dimensions as seen from five dimensionsofphysical evidence/tangible, durability/reliability, responsiveness, assurance, and empathytowards Bus Rapid Transit passengers. Inthis study, data were collectedby using question naireto 96 respondents, which aims to determine the response of the respondents toeachvariable.The analysis which is used,includevalidity test, reliability test,classic assumptions test(multicollinearity, normality, heteroscedasticity), multiple linear regression analysis, goodnessof fittest (F test, ttest, the coefficientof determination). From the result that using the regressionanalysis showed that the variables of physical evidence / tangible, durability / reliability,responsiveness,assurance, and empathy, all have positive and significant of BRT passengerssatisfaction. With the influence of 56.3% while43.7%are influenced by other variables.Keywords:service quality,customersatisfaction, mass transportation

Abstract

Good corporate governance is one of concepts which becomes solution for the deterioration of employee performance in Indonesia. The contributions such as participation, transparency, responsbility, and fairness are essential factors which affect employee performance. The good organizational commitment could be used as the measurement for the implementation of proper good corporate governance. The objective of this study is to know the impact of good coporate governance and employee performance which is moderated by organizational commitment in State Hospital of Konawe Regency. The population was 214 civil servants who work inState Hospital of Konawe Regency. The sample was 68 respondents which used Proporsioal Sampling technique. The analysis used structural equation modeling with Partial Least Square (PLS) alternative method. The result shows that: (1) Participation gives positive and significant impact on improving employee performance. It means that if participation improves so that employee performance also improves. (2) Transparency gives positive and unsignificant impact on employee performance. It means that it has correlation, but low transparency doesnâ??t improve employee performance. (3) Accountability gives positive and unsignificant impact onemployee performance. It means that it has correlation but low accountability doesnâ??t improve employee performance. (4) Fairness gives postive impact in improving employee performance. (5) Organizational commitment gives positive result, but it doesnâ??t give impact on moderating the participation influence toward employee performance in improving employee performance. It means that the correlation of organizational commitment moderation doesnâ??t strengthen the correlation of participation toward employee performance. (6) Transparency gives negative andsignificant impact in improving employee performance which is moderated by organaizational commitment. It means that the decreasing of transparency affects the improvement of employee performance. Accordingly, it gives implication in decreasing employee performance which has been moderated by high organizational commitment. (7) Accountability gives positive and significant impact in improving employee performance which is moderated by organaizational commitment. It means that the improvement of accountability affects the improvement of employee performance after it is moderated by high organizational commitment. (8) Fairnessgives positive and significant impact in improving employee performance which is moderated by organizational commitment. It means that high fairness affects in improving employee performance and it is strengthened by high organizational commitment.Key words: Good Corporate Governance, employee performance, and organizationalcommitment.

Abstract

Human resources is a very important factor as a driver in the face of global current era. The competitiveness of an organization depends on human resources owned. Particularly associated with either organization and organizational commitment of teacher performance. This study aims to analyze the performance of the teachers SMK Negeri I Bawen Semarang District. Variables used in this study is to use a variable of transformational leadership and work ethic of Islam. Transformational leadership and the Islamic work ethic serves as the independent variable in analyzing the performance of teachers of SMK Negeri I Bawen Semarang District. In addition to these two variables, there are still other variables used in this research thatorganizational commitment variable that serves as an intervening variable. This research usesensus method with a number of respondents as much as 78 teachers at SMK Negeri I Bawen Semarang District. Teknik of data analysis used in this study using data analysis techniques using the sruktural equation model Smart PLS (Partial Least Squere ). The results of this study indicate that transformational leadership variables and the Islamic work ethic has a positive and significant influence on organizational commitment. Variable transformational leadership, Islamic work ethic and organizational commitment showed positive and significant impact onthe performance of teachers.Keywords :Transformational leadership, Islamic work ethic, organizational Commitment and teacher performance.
