Abstract

The world community agreed on the importance of information media literacy for the world's population, not least the students, to the era of media saturated world. The general objective of this study is determine the level of information media literacy students of Primary School Teacher Education, Faculty of Education, University of Makassar, especially at UNM Campus V Parepare. Interest in particular to determine: 1) The influence of the level of media literacy in the student information on the ability of writing his thesis, 2) Influence of gender on the ability of a student thesis, and 3) Interaction between the level of media literacy and sex of the student information with the ability thesis. This study uses causal comparative (ex post facto) with a 2x2 factorial design. Subjects were students who complete the thesis in the second semester 2015/2016. Collecting data using questionnaires and documentation study. Test the hypothesis using analysis of variance (ANOVA) with a two-way interaction. The results showed that the average score of the level of media literacy of information the students were in the category of basic level and only 18% that are at an advanced level that indicates a high access of information media among students of Primary School Teacher Education, Faculty of Education, University of Makassar, especially at UNM Campus V Parepare has not been matched by the good ability of information media literacy. Hypothesis test results show: 1) There is the influence of the level of media literacy in the student information on the ability of writing his thesis, 2) there is no influence of the sex of the students in the ability of his thesis, and 3) there is interaction between the level of media literacy information and gender with the ability of students in thesis.Keywords: information media literacy; information literacy; media literacy; ability of writing thesis

Abstract

Each Students has different learning styles, learning styles as a way of learning habits of students in a lesson, which greatly affect the learning outcomes of students. The purpose of this research was to determine the relationship of auditory learning styles of students with the achievement of students at UNM Campus V PGSD Pare Pare on the subject of English. This type of research used in this study is a correlation study. This research is located in the Campus V UNM Faculty of Education UPP PGSD Parepare and the population in this study is the UPP students PGSD Parepare force in 2015, amounting to 63 people consisting of three classes and 33 used as a sample in this study. Techniques used data collection using observation technique, documentation, questionnaire and value students' achievement in the subject of English. The technique of analyzing data using descriptive statistic data analysis and correlation analysis. Conclusions about the relationship auditory learning styles of students and academic achievement in English language learning students UPP PGSD Pare Pare, shows that there is a correlation between auditory learning styles of students and academic achievement in English language learning students UPP PGSD Pare Pare.Keywords: Correlation study, auditory learning style

Abstract

The aims of this research are to develop science teaching media to determine the effectiveness and student learning outcomes in class V SD district Lakarsantri. Subjects in this study were students of SDN Jeruk II Surabaya. The stages of this research as follows: (1) analysis of learning, (2) define the general objectives of learning, (3) selecting methods, media and materials, (4) use of media, (5) students require participation, (6) evaluation and revision. Then the media science learning tested to the classroom VA with consist 23 students in SDN Jeruk II Surabaya and class VB 22 students in SDN Jeruk II Surabaya to know the results of student learning after learning activities using the model of Quantum Science Multimedia Teaching. Instrument used in this research activity includes: (1) questionnaire, (2) interview, (3) observation sheets, (4) test. The data will be analyzed using qualitative descriptive analysis, quantitative descriptive analysis and t test. Based on the hypothesis test between the experimental group and the control group by consulting t value and t table value, it can be concluded that Ho is rejected and Ha accepted because t value 2,450> 2,021 t tabel value. In other words, there is a comparison of Multimedia treatment IPA model Quantum Teaching Science learning outcomes on the results of the process of the water cycle and human activities that affect the class VA 23 students in SDN Jeruk II Surabaya and class VB 22 students in SDN Jeruk II Surabaya. Based on the research results can be concluded that: (1) Development of multimedia learning science with Quantum Teaching models can provide an alternative medium of learning in science subjects in class V. (2) There is the effect of the use of multimedia IPA model Quantum Teaching towards improving student learning outcomes in science lessons on the water cycle processes and human activities that affect the class VA 23 students in SDN Jeruk II Surabaya and class VB students in SDN Jeruk II Surabaya.Keywords: Multimedia Learning, Model of Quantum Teaching

Abstract

The use of conventional learning methods make communication in the learning process exists only in one direction so that students in general passive learning in the classroom and only a few are active to ask, answer and respond to learning. Though learning participation is one of the important factors in learning activities. It is reminded that the teaching and learning activities are held in order to provide learning experiences on the learner. If the students actively participate in learning activities likely learners will be able to extract meaning from that learning. One way that could make students participate in learning that is by applying the learning model. For the purpose of this study was to determine students' increased participation in integrated learning in the classroom C.83 UPP PGSD Parepare FIP UNM by using model two stay two stray. This type of research is classroom action research (PTK). Forms implementation consist of planning, action, observation and reflection. Lasts for two cycles of study. Data analysis technique used is descriptive qualitative data analysis techniques. Abstract

The problem in this research is how the school principals management ability in order to improve the quality of elementary school education in the District Mandai Maros?. The objective in the study is to describe the school principals management skills in order to improve the quality of elementary education in the District Mandai Maros. This research is quantitative descriptive, the population of all teachers and members of the study sample, only 60 teachers from elementary, data was collected using a questionnaire, documentation. Then the data is analyzed using percentages. The results showed that the competency of school principals average category both in terms of planning, organizing, Directing. Although in this element there are not enough in the maximum or category Briefing teachers who have difficulties in the learning process.Keywords: management ability, quality of education, principal

Abstract

The problem in this research is the lack of grade IV students? learning outcome in social study subject. The problem statement in this research is how does the implementation of inside outside circle learning model increase the social study learning outcomes of grade IV students in SD Inpres 7/83 Pacing, Awangpone, District of Bone? The objective of this research is to describe the implementation of inside outside circle learning model in increasing social study learning outcomes of grade IV students in SD Inpres 7/83 Pacing, Awangpone, District of Bone. The benefits of this research consist of theoritical and practical benefits. The research approach used in this research is Classroom Action Research (CAR). The research focus is the implementation of inside outside learning model in increasing the social study learning outcomes of grade IV students in SD Inpres 7/83 Pacing, Awangpone, District of Bone. Setting of the research held in SD Inpres 7/83 Pacing, Awangpone, District of Bone and the subjects are teacher and the grade IV active students in the even semester academic year 2015/2016 with the 16 numbers of students, 7 male students and 9 female students. The research design consists of fours steps starting from planning, applying, observing, and reflecting. The data collection techniques of this research were test and observation. The data analysis techniques used in this research are data reduction, data presentation, conclusion/verification. The result research can be concluded that the implementation of inside outside circle learning model can increase social study learning outcome of grade IV students in SD Inpres 7/83 Pacing, Awangpone, District of Bone. It can be seen from the increase of the percentages of students activity and grade in cycle 1 are in the category of moderate, whereas in cycle II in the category of good.Keywords: learning model, students learning outcome
