Abstract

The problem in this research is the low learning outcomes Social Sciences. The problems that were examined, namely How did the process of implementing a model of cooperative-type Numbered Head Together in social studies materials Struggle Maintaining Independence of Indonesia in class V?, Is the application of models of cooperative-type Numbered Head Together to improve learning outcomes IPS materials Struggle Maintaining Independence of Indonesia in Class V ?. The purpose of this study was to determine the type of cooperative learning application process Numbered Head Together social studies in Class V and to find out the learning outcome IPS after the implementation of cooperative learning type Numbered Head Together graders V. The approach used was qualitative approach using Type Research Class action. The focus of this study focused on the current implementation process focus on social studies learning by implementing measures NHT comprising the step numbering, ask questions, think together and answer as well as focus on the results of student learning outcome social studies on Maintaining Independence Struggle Indonesia. The subjects were teachers and students of class V, as many as 24 people, consisting of 10 men and 14 women. Data collection techniques used are tests, observation and documentation. Analysis of the data used is descriptive qualitative data analysis by classifying the data Aspect Aspect Teachers and Students. The learning outcomes of students in the first cycle of less qualified because they are indicators of unmet ie the number of students who were able to take the test is given to the right is still small, but on the second cycle results are increased and qualified Good. Conclusion of the study, namely an increase learning outcomes in social studies about the struggle of Indonesian Independence Maintain through the application of models Pembelejaran Cooperative Numbered Head Together in Class V SD Negeri 57 Parepare.Keyword: Numbered Head Together, learning outcomes

Abstract

Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan modul pembelajaran Mikrobiologi untuk mahasiswa semester VI di Universitas Negeri Alauddin Makassar. Modul pengembangan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini mengacu pada model Borg and Gall (1983) terdiri atas 6 tahap.Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menghasilkan bahan ajar Mikrobiologi yang valid, praktis, dan efektif. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Universitas Islam Negeri Alauddin Makassar dengan subjek penelitian meliputi satu kelas yang terdiri 27 mahasiswa. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui proses validasi modul pembelajaran, satuan acara perkuliahan, respon mahasiswa dan tes hasil belajar. Hasil uji coba lapangan menunjukkan bahwa modul pembelajaran Mikrobiologi memenuhi kriteria efektif, yakni: (1) aktivitas mahasiswa berjalan sesuai dengan yang diharapkan (2) respon mahasiswa dan respon pengajar memenuhi kriteria respon positif yaitu melebihi 50%, dan (3) hasil belajar mahasiswa memenuhi penilaian acuan pembelajaran yaitu rata-rata 75,26 atau 88,89%. Berdasarkan hasil uji coba menunjukkan bahwa modul pembelajaran Mikrobiologi dengan jurnal ilmiah sebagai sumber belajar memenuhi kriteria kevalidan, kepraktisan dan keefektifan. Kata Kunci:  Bahan ajar, jurnal ilmiah,  model pembelajaran Borg and Gall (1983)

Abstract

This class action research aimed to increasing student learning result through the utilization of animation media on social science. The subject of research is 20 fifth grade students of SDN Cangkringsari Sukodono Sidoarjo. The execution of this research consisted of two cycles and each cycle consisted from several stage namely planning, execution, observation and reflection. The kind of data that collected on this research are teacher?s learning activities, student?s learning activities and data from student learning result after the application of animation media. Data collected done by multilevel scale systematic observation method to measuring the activity of teacher and student while student learning result using evaluation tool in the form of test. On the data collection activity researcher helped by one observer. Data from this research analyzed descriptive qualitatively.  When the process of learning goes well on cycle I and cycle II showing that teacher activity can increased, it indicated by the enhancement of teacher activity on first cycle with percentage as big as 64.16% and on the action of second cycle with percentage as big as 86.66% with the enhancement as big as 22.50%. Student?s activity on learning activity showing an enhancement from first cycle to second one, on first cycle with percentage as big as 62.69% and on the action of second cycle with percentage as big as 83.05% with the enhancement as big as 20.36% . On the student learning result that obtained from first cycle and second cycle, obtained average learning result score  on first cycle as big as 61.75, and on the second cycle as big as 79.75 it showed that after the utilization of animation media on the matter of diversity of Indonesian?s cultures can increasing the learning result of fifth grade students of SDN Cangkringsari Sukodono Sidoarjo. Thus, utilization of animation media on the matter of diversity of Indonesian?s cultures can increasing teacher?s activity, student?s activity and student learning result. Abstract

This research is descriptive quantitative research to the implementation of the management class at a public elementary school districts Bacukiki Parepare. The purpose of this study was to obtain an overview of the implementation of the management class held by the teacher to the student and determine the factors that become an obstacle in the implementation of classroom management in Bacukiki Elementary School District of City of Parepare. The result showed that the ability of classroom management sub-district public primary school teachers Bacukiki Parepare in the middle category. Overall, teachers who have a grade-level management capabilities over many frequencies teachers who is in the category of moderate to very high category is the category with the very low to low category. The constraints experienced in the classroom management is lack of availability of adequate learning facilities such as completeness of the tools of learning science, social studies, and still lack of supporting books and reference in the library that can not optimize acceleration school purposes, the number of students is too much on almost in every classroom, and other barriers is very limited available of funds.Keyword: implementation of classroom management

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe the planning, implementation and results of free poetry writing skills in the Indonesian language class V SDN 004 Bangkinang with Contextual Approach. This research uses qualitative method of Type Class Action Research. Data obtained in the analysis using qualitative and quantitative data analysis. Stages of data analysis are described as follows: reviewing the data that has been collected either through observation, rectification, recording, or documentation, data reduction, presenting data and concluding the research results. The results of research after done on the cycle I skill of writing free poetry with a perspecage of 59.09%. Then cycle II of free poetry writing skills has increased with the percentage of 86.36%. Teacher activity in the first cycle of the first meeting of 65.71% and at the second meeting increased to 74.28%. Then in cycle II the first meeting of teacher activity increased to 82.85% and at the second meeting increased to 88.57% ". Student activity on first cycle of the first meeting of 62.85% and at the second meeting increased to 68.57% with the category of "Good". Then in cycle II the first meeting of teacher activity increased to 77.14% and at the second meeting increased to 85.71%. Thus it can be concluded that by using Contextual Approach Can Increase the Skill of writing poetry free Student Class V SDN 004 Bangkinang district Bangkinang City.Keyword: Contextual Approach, Skill Writing, Free Poem

Abstract

Discipline is an important key in an activity. One can not complete an activity with optimal results without discipline. Discipline is an attitude that requires a person to be responsible for his actions, obedient to the decisions and commandments, and accuracy in respecting the time. Discipline in a school is necessary to create order and order. Therefore, it was established school order. But lately the order began to decline function. This is because, the discipline that is formed is a discipline that is forced, not because of consciousness but because of fear of punishment. Therefore schools need to foster discipline among their students. Awareness enforcing discipline can be trained with positive activities held by schools through extracurricular. One of them is Scout activities. From this boy scout activities students will be accustomed to apply discipline in every activity held. So hopefully between scout and discipline activities have a close relationship.Keyword: Scouting activities, Discipline Character
