Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh permasalahan mitra yang diidentifikasi  (1) belum memiliki pengetahuan tentang media pembelajaran terutama GeoGebra sehingga perlu adanya pendampingan dan pengarahan berkelanjutan mengenai pentingnya menggunakan media pembelajaran yang tepat ketika proses pembelajaran, (2) belum memiliki keterampilan GeoGebra sehingga perlu diadakan kegiatan pelatihan penggunaan software GeGebra. Permasalahan pada mitra di daerah Kelurahan Pademangan Barat dapat dicari solusinya, salah satunya dengan penerapan IPTEKS bagi masyarakat sekitar khususnya untuk guru dan siswa. Solusi yang ditawarkan guna memecahkan masalah di atas adalah tim pengabdian UHAMKA bermaksud mengadakan workshop penerapan software GeoGebra sebagai media pembelajaran matematika untuk guru SDN Pademangan Barat. Metode dalam menyelesaikan permasalahan yang dihadapi oleh mitra yaitu (1) penggalian masalah, (2) perencanaan, (3) sosialisasi, (4) pelaksanaan, (5) evaluasi dan refleksi, (6) laporan, dan (7) publikasi. Abstract

This research aims to improve the teachers' performances in learning through supervision with classroom observation technique performed by the principal. This research is a qualitative research. The kind of research used is action research. The steps that have been done in this research were planning, implementation and observation, reflection and revision. The data obtained from interview, observation, and documentation. The results of research showed that; First, the preparation of supervision of classroom observation by the principal become better which was in accordance with the preparation theories of supervision by using classroom observation technique. Second, the implementation process of supervision of classroom observation by the principal has done very well, it causes a conducive atmosphere and enjoyable for teachers and students. Third, the feedback meeting of supervision of classroom observation by the principal carried well so that it can motivate teachers to improve their performances which were in accordance with the feedback meeting theories of supervision by using the classroom observation technique. Fourth, the teachers' performances in learning increased after conducting the supervision technique of classroom observation, among others (a) the ability of teachers in planning the learning is good, (b) the ability of teachers in implementing the learning is already very good so, the situation of class becomes conducive and enjoyable, and (c) the ability of teachers in evaluating the learning also increased to be better.

Abstract

MIM Jagalan (1950) and MIM Jumoyo (1968) is a Basic Education Institution in Salam Sub-district, Magelang. Although it has been half a century established, but until now still experiencing a number of obstacles, among which are 1) the low knowledge and understanding of the National Education Standards (SNP) so that the impact on the implementation of quality education process; 2) the existence of gaps in the implementation of primary education (MI and SD) in Salam District Magelang regency; 3) The objective conditions of teachers and human resources and the resources of instructional media for educational visual aids (APE) so as to impact on the limitations in supporting quality learning process; 4) The lack of support of madrasah stakeholders in the development of madrasah both morally and materially. In relation to this matter, it is a community service activity that aims to improve the quality of madrasah to madrasah with quality education process. The method to be used in the achievement of the objective is Participatory Rural Appraisal (PRA) participatory community empowerment model. The method is divided into three stages: preparation, implementation and mentoring, and preparation of reports. The preparation phase begins with permission, preparation through Forum Group Discussion (FGD) division of implementing tasks with partners. Implementation phase begins with socialization, SNP evaluation, document quality assurance, APE development assistance, strategy training and learning method, final stage of preparation of final report.

Abstract

The results of the situation analysis related to mathematics learning in 2 partner schools in the cluster II of the West Amanuban sub-district, namely SD Inpres Oenali and SD Inpres Oefatu showed that the implementation of abstract mathematics learning and sticking to textbooks was very minimal, the existence of mathematics teaching aids was minimal, the teacher's ability in the manufacture of mathematics teaching aids is still lacking, KKG meetings and district-level trainings are more directed at learning administration activities and have not touched on the essence of mathematics learning such as teaching aids design. The solution to this problem is the transfer of science and technology to teachers in the form of mentoring in the making and application of mathematics teaching aids. The method of implementing this activity is in the form of training and mentoring carried out by adopting action research steps through four stages, namely planning, implementing, observing and evaluating and reflecting. The results of this activity are increasing the ability and skills of teachers in the making and application of mathematics teaching aids that allow students to do mathematical activities by using teaching aids in classroom learning.

Abstract

This research is a classroom action research that aims to increase learning outcomes IPA  by applying discovery learning model. The approach used in this study is qualitative with the type of research is Class Action Research (PTK) is recycled/ cycles that include planning, execution, observation, and reflection. The data analysis used is qualitative . The results showed that there are increases in learning both on the activities of teachers and students as well as student learning outcomes. From this research can be concluded that  teacher teaching activities and student learning activities are increase, student learning outcomes in cycle I not yet in the category enough, in cycle II student learning outcomes have increased are in good category and the application of discovery learning learning model in science subjects can improve the learning outcomes of fifth grade V SDN 124 Batuasang Kecamatan Herlang Kabupaten Bulukumba.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan hasil belajar kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika kelas III SDN Salatiga 1 melalui model Problem Based Learning berbasis Critical Thinking. Penelitian ini termasuk penelitian deskriptif kualitatif dengan variabel tunggal, yaitu hasil belajar kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika kelas III. Instrumen pengumpulan data menggunakan tes, lembar aktivitas siswa, lembar observasi. Data hasil tes dan pengamatan dianalisis dengan teknik stastistik deskriptif berupa rata-rata hitung dan persentase. Berdasarkan analisis data disimpulkan bahwa tingkat kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika kelas III tergolong baik. Namun untuk mewujudkan harapan orangtua yang tertuang dalam program sekolah menjadi sekolah unggul, perlu adanya peningkatan hasil belajar. Sekolah dianggap unggul jika telah melampui standar nasional dan di atas dari yang sekolah lain. Untuk mewujudkan hal tersebut, dapat direkomendasikan kepada semua pihak dalam dunia pendidikan agar lebih berupaya dalam meningkatkan proses pembelajaran matematika di sekolah dasar melalui model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning berbasis Critical Thinking. Peningkatan penelitian ini dapat terlihat dari nilai rata-rata 83,64 dengan presentase ketuntasan 82% pada siklus I menjadi nilai rata-rata 91,07 dengan presentase ketuntasan 90% pada siklus II.  Kesimpulan penelitian ini menunjukkan adanya peningkatan hasil pembelajaran matematika di sekolah dasar melalui model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning berbasis Critical Thinking pada setiap siklus.

Abstract

This study is aimed at (1) describing the characteristics of the Discon module in the learning of the Science Practicum in Class IV elementary school; (2) knowing the validity, practicality, and effectiveness of the Discon Science module in Class IV elementary school. This research is a type of research and development. This study aims to develop educational products in the form of modules that can be used in science learning. The research model used was adopted from Gravemeijer & Cobb's three-phase R & D model, namely the initial research phase, development phase and assessment phase. The effectiveness test of the module was analyzed using n-gain. The results of the study show that the module validity value is 50.5 with valid criteria. Practicality test of the module which yields 63.8 with very practical criteria. The effectiveness test using n-gain obtained a value of 0.71 in the high category. From the results of the study it can be concluded that the Discon Science Module in the Class IV primary school developed has fulfilled the criteria of validity, practicality, and effectiveness so that it can be used as one of the teaching materials in science learning in primary schools.

Abstract

Kualitas karakter, kompetensi dan literasi dasar sehingga peserta didik cakap dalam memecahkan masalah, berpikir kritis, kolaborasi, dan berkomunikasi merupakan kecakapan yang dibutuhkan di abad 21. Studi ini bertujuan mengetahui hasil dari pelaksanaan pelatihan yang ditujukan untuk meningkatkan kualitas karakter, kompetensi dan literasi dasar profesionalisme guru di abad 21. Pelatihan tersebut ialah pendampingan peningkatan kemampuan guru dalam menerapkan bahan ajar Student Centered berbasis informatika melalui aplikasi Chem Draw. Pelatihan ditujukan ke guru MI dan SMP di Depok sebanyak lebih kurang 30 peserta. Dari pelaksanaan kegiatan pelatihan telah diperoleh data kemampuan guru dalam menerapkan bahan ajar Student Centered berbasis informatika melalui penggunaan aplikasi Chem Draw. Sebanyak 63,34% peserta mendapatkan nilai di bawah 60, sedangkan yang mendapatkan nilai di atas 60 hanyalah sebanyak 36,66%. Peserta yang mendapatkan nilai di atas 60 semuanya dari guru MI. Guru MI yang mendapatkan nilai di atas 60 lebih banyak dari guru kelas, dimana guru kelas adalah guru yang mengampu hampir semua mata pelajaran di kelas. Berdasarkan hasil pengisian angket tampak jelas bahwa rata-rata seluruh persentase tanggapan positif lebih besar dari 70% dari jumlah total guru MI dan SMP. Dari uraian hasil dapat disimpulkan bahwa kegiatan pelatihan yang telah dilaksanakan berhasil memenuhi tujuannya.
