Abstract

The research implementing ?Tachogenerator as the sensor for controller of Electric Motor Speed rotation at electric laboratories? Plant (Object controlled)  is controlled by the electric motors speed rotation in AC or DC, by setting armature voltage of motor using digital PID controller and fuzzy logic from Personal Computer (PC). Although the load disturbances are changing significantly, but the motor speed rotation can be stabilized by feedback input from tachogenerator which are the focus in this research. PID controller dan fuzzy Logic controller applications are used to find the advantages the disadvatages or controll methode of motor reliability in dinamic controll (speed rotation) which cause the system more stabil. The result can be seen in maintained system responses and the system reliabilty against disturbances.

Abstract

Electrical signals of body are chemical?s respond of specific cell type. Electrocardiograph is used to record heart electrical activity which flow around the chest. This electricity flow is responded by sensor which acts as conductor. AD624AD is an instrument amplifier which is designed to transducer application with low level and pressure transducer. AD624AD has high precisions with low noise and input offside voltage less than 0,25 ?V/0C. AD624AD not need pre-gain 1, 100, 200, 500 and 1000. An external resistor can be used to arrange the gain of AD624AD with level rating 1 up to 10.000 However, this equipment have input voltage to sensor 0,3 to 50 mV. The output voltage result from 1,6 to 5 volt using this amplifier.

Abstract

This article describes about Tanagra software application on data mining. Tanagra is data mining software which can be used to access some existing data mining method. Data is built using excel with text data type. This application use the dataset of women with begnin or malignant. The result inform from 699 sample for Univariate Continuous Statistic have begin 65,52% and malignant 34,48%. The other information is the begnin has less mitos (1,6 : 1,59), the malignant has more ucellshape (6,56 : 3,21)

Abstract

Using image thinning algorithm, various example of application is processing image to become more and more variate and helpfully for recognition process an image such as were studied  by  example. First, this handout will be explained  some term which concerning image thinning in digital image processing, then definition from image thinning and algorithm to process image thinning at one particular digital image will be explained. In the  next will be given an image thinning application which used for Extraction of Filarial Worms.

Abstract

Inverter as power circuit is used to change DC to AC voltage. In general, DC which can be changed by inverter is DC voltage with constant value, for example battery or accu. Inverter is design to changed non constant DC voltage which produced by wind power generator become constant ac voltage. In changing process from non constant DC voltage to constant AC voltage is controlled by microcontroller to simplify the design of inverter.

Abstract

Loads of electricity utility consists of linear loads and non linear loads. The non linear loads for example TV, personal computer, VCD player, microwave and fluorescent lamp using electronics ballast. Loads with non linear characteristics become harmonic current source to electricity utility. Condition prediction used statistic linear comparison based on load power to THDi (Distortion of Harmonic Current). Measurement result using power quality analyzer and etap 4.0 (Fluke 43B) find typical THDi. The calculation and measurement result of PF and THD to loads of electricity utility show the differences less than 5%. However power factor formulation and distortions of harmonic current is valid

Abstract

traffic light still uses analog system with discrete component. This technology has many disadvantages for example difficulty in maintenance and repair, display only to lamp without counter and no control for delay in normal hours or rush hours. These can be cause traffic jam and accident. To solve this problem, traffic light system is completed by digital system and buzzer using microcontroller AT89C51. The observation result to prototype at laboratory in Polytechnic State of Padang show this system can be implemented to real condition.

Abstract

WiMAX is Broadband Wireless Acces (BWA) technology evolution with interactive fitur. WiMAX not only have issue about data speed problem but also about open standard. It means, communications between WiMax instruments between some different vendors are not proprietary. WimAX orientations are not only for fixed market, but also for portable and mobile market. WiMAX with high speed data (up to 70 MBps) is suitable to apply in last mile broadband connections, backhaul and high speed enterprise.

Abstract

In middle 1990, electronics industry had evolution in personal Computer, telephone cellular and high speed data communication equipment. To follow this development, electronics companies have designed and produce new product. One of these innovations is Programmable Logic Devices (PLD) technology. It is a technology to change function of IC digital logic using programming. Many of Programmable Logic Device (PLD) can be used to programming logic using single chip of integrated circuit (IC). Programmable Logic Devices (PLD) technology is applied using IC PAL 22V10 to design basic logic gate AND, OR, NOT and combinational logic gate NAND and NOR.

Abstract

   Simulation of detection system for equipments electronics aim to facilitate people watch existence of equipments electronics  or other valuable objects that still residing in on position which  determined, if house in a state of remained house owner.  This detection also at the same time can be functioned as preventative of  thief. This detection system use 2 of HP ( Handphone), HP1 reside in house which incircuit with detection system and HP2 holded by house owner. Existence of electronics equipments that residing in house can be watched automatically from long distance with delivering SMS from HP1 to HP2 on the happening of condition of electronic equipments making of move from initialy position, also alarm will sound at home for notification to security or neighbour. SMS can be also delivered from HP2 to HP1 for the checking of electronic equipments if notification of HP2 at home don?t  be executed when position  the electronic equipments  have making a move. The detection in the form of censor infra red (optocoupler) residing in at elbow equipments of electronic at home which  input to parallel port ( DB25) of PC ( personal of computer). While HP1 incircuit serially port ( DB9) and thsi function of HP is executed by program of Visual Basic 6.0. Program to detect infra red and activate alarm also use Visually Basic 6.0.
