Abstract

Information and communication technology (JeT) is a systematic process of the design, development, utzlization, management, and evaluation of the process and resources for learning. These concept and principles can be used to solve the instructional problems including in the area of civics education. The implementation should be focused on the message (the curriculum of civics education), personnel (teachers, students, and administrative supports), hardware, software, management, and setting. The systematic strategy in implementating leT consists of five steps: design, development, utilization, management, and evaluation of the process and resources  of civics education.

Abstract

As an independent and sovereignty country, Indonesia should arrange KUHP (Kitab Undang-Undang Hukum Pidana) to avoid loss of criminalities that have been increasing. The renewal of KUHP is very needed because it's not proper with the values of social politic, social philosophy, and social cultural of Indonesia people. It is the basic for sosial, criminal policy, and law enforcement. The urgency of revising of KUHP, specially putting susila crime put in draft criminal code (RUU KUHP) and almost the requirement still be formed widely, not distinguishing between criminal and people who break the rule, but the words "susila Crime? and the newly "statutory rape" and "incest?. According to the renewal, it's needed to direct it into the law development that is democratic and responsive, so that the law's function-that protect the society, can give fairness and as a development instrument will raise suitable with the principle of law country.  Although the draft criminal code (RUU KUHP) still need to be discussed again, remembering the effort to have national KUHP is very urgent, so it's better that draft criminal code (RUU KUHP) is not need more time to be UU, in the other hand, technically we will face difficulties in law enforcement because the representatives and experts are more free to say their thoughts.

Abstract

Pancasila democracy is a constitutional democracy. Characteristics of Pancasila democracy are: (1) the scope is not limited in the sense of political democracy, but also covering the economic and social democracy, (2) in the spirit it contains the religious, humanist, collectivism (kekelurgaan­patterns of village life), (3) although modern democratic institutions that are used but in decision­making mechanisms of soao-cultural institution that is native consultation system. Pancasila democracy has these' characteristics, a characteristic of democratic citizen in the Homeland, for . example: relegious, humanist, nationalist, democratic and socialjustice. Suchh characteristics will distinguish the state with citizens of non-Pancasila democracy

Abstract

The research was an explorative research deploying interview and questionnaire as collecting data methods. Collected data was analyzed descriptive qualitatively. The research found that (1) although respondents have different conceptions of good citizens, they have shared view on main features of good citizen, namely caring others, responsibility, independence, democratic, critical, and simple life; (2) almost all of them have chosen lecturing as instructional method to develop good citizen; (3) they have found both internal and external obstacles in dealing with their efforts, such as teachers themselves and students and the lack of infrastructures of schools; and (4) many efforts were deployed, one of them was of seduction their colleagues to work professionally. They believed that it was not thought but caught by which a good citizen could be developed. They were ready to be examples.

Abstract

The aim of this classroom action research is to improve students? learning motivation, learning result of PKn on Basic Competence of Describing Indonesian Government System and the Roles of the State Institutions as the Sovereignty Executive and the characters of Grade VIII C Students of Junior High School 1 of Kebumen in Second Semester of Academic Year 2013/2014 by applying CHEERFUL DISCO learning method. The research is a classroom action research conducted in two cycles; each cycle of which includes planning, conducting, observation, and reflection. The result of the research shows that the learning method was able to improve the students? learning motivation in learning activities from 62.37% in pre cycle to 73.74% in the first cycle, then from 78.91% in the second cycle, improved the PKn learning achievement in mastering concept of the ability to describe Indonesian Government System and the Roles of the State Institutions as the Sovereignty Executive, which can be seen that the students? achievement test result is improving in average from 78.18 with 54.55% of mastery learning in pre cycle to 83.23 with 72.73% of mastery learning in the first cycle, then it was improved to 86.59 in average with 81.82% of mastery learning in the second cycle.

Abstract

Penelitian ini ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan e-modul berorientasi KKNI pada perkuliahan pendidikan kewarganegaraan dan dampak potensial e-modul berorientasi KKNI terhadap hasil belajar mahasiswa pada perkuliahan pendidikan kewarganegaraan.  Penelitian pengembangan ini menggunakan model ADDIE. Subjek penelitian yang ditetapkan adalah mahasiswa  ilmu komputer dan jaringan yang mengambil Mata Kuliah Pendidikan Kewarganegaraan pada semester Ganjil 2017-2018. Data dikumpulkan melalui teknik dokumentasi, angket, observasi dan tes. Selanjutnya teknik analisis data yang digunakan ialah analisis data kuantitatif. Selain data hasil studi pendahuluan, data angket yang berkaitan dengan validitas produk juga dianalisis dengan menggunakan analisis deskriptif. Berdasarkan hasil analisis dan pembahasan maka disimpulkan e-modul berorientasi KKNI yang dikembangkan ini valid, praktis dan berefek potensial dalam meningkatkan pemahaman mahasiswa terhadap materi. Terkategorikan valid setelah mendapatkan hasil 92% dari validasi ahli bahasa dan 92% ahli materi. Kemudian dalam tiga kali tahapan uji coba mendapatkan tanggapan yang positif dari para mahasiswa penggunannya. Dan pada uji coba lapangan terdapat N-gain 0,6 dengan kategori sedang dari perbandingan pre tes dan pos tes yang dilakukan.-------------------------------------------------------Development of the KKNI-oriented e-module in the lecturing  on Citizenship Education at Sriwijaya UniversityThis study aims to develop KKNI-oriented e-modules in lectures on citizenship education and the potential impact of KKNI-oriented e-modules on student learning outcomes in lectures on citizenship education. This developmental research uses the ADDIE model. The research subjects were computer science and network students who took Citizenship Education Courses in the Odd Semester 2017-2018. Data were collected through documentation techniques, questionnaires, observations, and tests. Furthermore, the data analysis technique used is quantitative data analysis. In addition to the data from the preliminary study, questionnaire data related to product validity were also analyzed using descriptive analysis. Based on the results of the analysis and discussion, it was concluded that the KKNI-oriented e-module developed was valid, practical and had a potential effect in increasing students' understanding of the material. It is categorized as valid after getting 92% results from linguist validation and 92% material experts. Then in the three stages of the trial, there was a positive response from the students. And in the field trials, there are N-gain 0.6 with a moderate category from the comparison of the pre-test and post-tests conducted.

Abstract

This article is based on a report of classroom action research (CAR) done among students of class VII C SMPN 1 Cadasari by implementation of Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) based Card Sort teaching model, and its contribution toward increase of students learning output in civic education Selecting class VII C as model class is based on consideration of low student learning outcomes of civic education. This note was taken from average of grades in report book and percentage of pass in test of last semester compared by other class. So that, Writer tries to conduct CAR by implementing CTL Card Sort teaching model to increase student learning outcomes of civic education. CAR is conducted by implementing action plan in the form of using some varied teaching model in class VII C. While in the other classes namely Class VIIA and Class VIIB as comparator classes, teaching model used is the conventional one although also based on CTL principles.Analysis process is done by analyzing daily test results to know progress of students learning outcomes and employ a Collaborator to observe and analyze excess and lack of researcher during teaching-learning process. The observation result from partner is used as reflection source and consideration to select following action. After four cycles of research and based on reflection with a Collaborator, it is resulted that using CTL based Card Sort teaching model can effectively increase students learning outcomes in subject matter of civic education. The result proves that CTL based Card Sort teaching model compared to other model has some advantages: a) relevant for ages of junior high school, b) simple and cheap, c) prioritizing collaboration, d) joyful and not boring, e) requiring mutual support, and f) encouraging student to be active.

Abstract

Artikel ini mengkaji tentang nilai-nilai toleransi keagamaan yang muncul dalam masyarakat sinkretis Girikarto dan puritanis Kotabaru Yogyakarta. Penelitian ini mengambil objek penelitian Masyarakat Budha dan Islam di wilayah Girikarto serta Huria Kristen Batak Protestan (HKBP) dan Yayasan Masjid Syuhada Kotabaru Yogyakarta. Metode penelitian empirik ini dilakukan dengan wawancara secara mendalam dan observasi lapangan secara langsung dalam kehidupan keluarga, sosial, dan keagamaan masyarakat. Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah antropologis. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa toleransi merupakan konsep keagamaan yang berbaur dengan pluralitas tradisi Jawa (Hindu-Budha, animisme, dinamisme, dan Islam) yang membentuk ide, nilai, tradisi, sistem sosial sebagai satu kesadaran hidup damai dan rukun di antara masyarakat, khususnya Yogyakarta. Kemajemukan menjadi suatu keniscayaan. Pancasila diyakini merupakan filosofi dan ideologi yang mempersatukan kemajemukan itu. Pancasila merupakan kristalisasi nilai-nilai budaya yang tumbuh dan berkembang dalam kehidupan keagamaan masyarakat. Toleransi merupakan pemaduan nilai agama dan budaya yang dipegang teguh dengan baik.---------------------------------------------------This article studies on religious tolerance values that emerge in syncretism society Girikarto and puritanism one in Kotabaru Yogyakarta. This research takes the object on Girikarto Buddhism and Muslim, and Huria Batak Protestant (HKBP) and Syuhada mosque foundation, Kotabaru Yogyakarta. This empirical method is applied by deep interview and immediate observation of social and religious reality. The approach used in anthropology. The result of the research shows that tolerance is a religious concept that interacts with Javanese plurality traditions (Hinduism-Buddhism, animism, dynamism, and Islam) that create ideas, values, traditions, the social system as awareness to live peacefully among society, especially in Yogyakarta. The diversity is a reality. Pancasila is believed as a philosophy and ideology that unify this diversity. Pancasila is the crystallization of cultural values that grow and develop in society life. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menggambarkan hubungan kekeluargaan  masyarakat Minangkabau yang merantau ke Kota Yogyakarta dan realisasi peran mamak Minangkabau yang merantau di Yogyakarta terhadap kemenakannya. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif untuk menggali domain-domain yang berkaitan dengan permasalahan pokok ?Sejauhmana peran mamak perantauan Minangkabau di Yogyakarta terhadap kemenakannya?,  yang selanjutnya akan dijabarkan menjadi  beberapa fokus permasalahan penelitian yang terbagi dalam beberapa domain. Merantau ke   Yogyakarta mampu  menginspirasi    perantau  asal Minangkabau untuk membentuk keluarga baru yang berbasis   keluarga inti (nuclear family), menggantikan ikatan lama yang berbasis pada keluarga luas matrelinial.  Saat berada dalam lingkaran keluarga luas matrelinialnya,  seorang suami tidak mempunyai posisi urgen  terhadap anaknya   karena sang anak menjadi tanggung jawab  mamak. Namun terbentuknya keluarga inti dan  menguatnya peran harta pencaharian menyebabkan posisi kaum laki-laki semakin kuat di depan istri dan anak-anaknya.  Akibat dari semakin dominannya peran harta pencaharian pada satu sisi, dan  semakin minimnya  harta pusaka  menopang kehidupan keluarga inti,  menyebabkan hubungan mamak-kemenakan yang diikat secara fungsional oleh harta pusaka semakin melemah. Merantaunya  keluarga Minangkabau  ke Yogyakarta  sedikit banyak telah  melemahkan simpul-simpul ketaatan pada adat Minangkabau.  Dengan meninggalkan teritorial hukum adat dan  melepaskan  diri dari ketergantungan pada harta pusaka, semakin  melemahkan  hubungan mamak-kemenakan yang secara fungsional diikat oleh harta pusaka.  Bisa dipastikan bahwa peran   mamak terhadap kemenakan tidak lagi bisa direalisasikan secara maksimal, utamanya dalam hal: a) mempersiapkan kemenakan mejadi pemimpin di lingkungan  paruik, kaum dan suku, b) menentukan arah pendidikan dan membiayai pendidikan  kemenakan, c) mengatur perjodohan kemenakan, mencarikan jodoh dan membiayai perhelatan perkawinan kemenakan-----------------

Abstract

Morality in general election 2004, a long way off from expected. Various actions which dissolute political indication see clearly in course of and result of general election. Money politics, administrative collusion and crime by some of all legislative candidates, bureaucracy which not yet neutral politically, manipulation of voice enumeration, showing process of general election still not yet full respect the moral. General election also did not yet shown to yield all politician owning high binding (commitment) to respect the political morality. Its indication, general election not yet earned to yield the leader owning inner calm and trusted by people, general election tends to yield the politician principled weak politics party at ideology so that progressively strengthen to expand "political of corruption. " Not yet strength of political morality in general election 2004 represented factor which did not conducive for civic education, because real reference of citizen about how politicians have moral. This circumstance if let it can conducive to the belief crisis to existing political system. Therefore, study of civic education agreed with general election which require to be developed critically to form the rational and proportional attitude in general election. If this matter is done will be able to assist to overcome to expand belief crisis to general election and national of political system.
