Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan penerapan pendekatan brain based learning yang dilihat dari (1) kemampuan guru mengelola kelas dengan menggunakan pendekatan brain based learning, (2) aktivitas siswa, (3) ketuntasan hasil belajar siswa, dan (4) respon siswa. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas dengan sasaran penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas XI IPA 1 SMA Negeri 1 Cerme Gresik tahun ajaran 2011-2012. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan sebanyak 3 kali putaran. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah metode pengamatan, metode tes, dan metode angket. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) kualitas keterlaksanaan pendekatan brain based learning mendapat skor rata-rata padaputaran I sebesar 3,67 (baik), putaran II sebesar 4,25 (baik sekali), dan putaran III sebesar 4,58 (baik sekali). (2) Aktivitas siswa telah mencerminkan aktivitas pendekatan brain based learning seperti melakukan senam otak dan melakukan perayaan bersama, perilaku yang tidak relevan putaran I sebesar 5%, putaran II sebesar 1,67%, dan putaran III sebesar 1,11% (3) Hasil belajar siswa secara klasikal pada putaran I belum tercapai yakni sebesar 70%, namun pada putaran II dan III telah tercapai yaitu 83,33%, dan 90%. (4) Respon siswa terhadap pembelajaran menggunakan pendekatan brain based learning positif karena jawaban ?ya? pada setiap pertanyaan lebih dari 61%. Kata kunci: pendekatan brain based learning , hasil belajar, hidrolisis garam.Abstract:Abstract:The aims of this research are to describe the implementation of brain based learning approach is seen from (1) the ability of teacher to manage situation in the class use brain based learning approach, (2) student activities, (3) Student learning achievement, and (4) student responses.This research is a class action with the target is a class of XI IPA 1 SMAN 1 Cerme Gresik 2011-2012 school year. The research was carried out 3 times a round or cycle. Data collection methods that used is test methods were the pretest and postest and the questionnaire method. The result showed that: (1) the ability of teacher to manage situation in the class use brain based learning approach had an average score of 3.67 on the round I (good) round II 4.25 (very good),and round III of 4.58 (very good), (2) Student activities have reflected activity of brain based learning approach as to brain gym and doing celebration together, the activity irrelevant in round I of 5%, round II of 1.67%, and round III of 1,11% (3) These results indicate that the student learning achievement in the classical style in the round I have not been achieved by 70%, but in rounds II and III has been achieved is 83.33%, and 90% (4) Student responses after learning brain based learning is positive because the answer "yes" to any question of more than 61%.   Key words:brain based learning approach, learning outcomes, salts hydrolysisKey words:brain based learning approach, learning outcomes, salts hydrolysis.

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kelayakan media pembelajaran Video berorientasi kemampuan memecahkan masalah pada materi larutan asam basa  dalam kegiatan pembelajaran di kelas. Metode penelitian yang digunakan ialah penelitian dan pengembangan (research and development), dan desain penelitian yang digunakan ialah penelitian dan pengembangan (research and development/R&D). Pencapaian kelayakan dari media pembelajaran  antara lain: persentase keseluruhan aspek dari penilaian ahli media dan guru kimia, dan didukung oleh respon siswa, dan hasil observasi aktivitas siswa, dan ketuntasan belajar siswa secara klasikal ? 70%. Analisis data dari hasil validasi ahli media dan guru kimia terhadap media interaktif meliputi aspek: 1) kesesuaian format media, 2) kualitas materi pada media 80,77% dari skor kriterium. Tes hasil belajar siswa menunjukkan ketuntasan belajar siswa secara klasikal sebesar 100%. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut media pembelajaran  yang dikembangkan layak digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran pada larutan asam basa SMA.   Kata kunci: media pembelajaran video, materi larutan asam basa. Abstract: The purpose is knowing the eligibility and efectivity of  media at material of acid basesolution for learning activity in the class. Research method is research and development, and design is research and development/R&D. The egibility of performance in this media is the percentage of all aspects from the assesment of chemistry teachers, and support by students respon and observation of student activity and the existence of complete increase learns by clasically equal to 70%. The analisis of data validation from media experts and sains teachers include of aspects: 1) The match of media format, 2) cognition content of media, 80,77% from the criterium scores. The result of students learning test give the existence of the complete increase learn classically equal to 100%. Based on the result of research, the interactive media was development is suitable to be used as media of chemistry learning at meterial of acid base solution.   Key Word: media, material of acid base solution.

Abstract

Abstrak : Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kelayakan Chemistry Worksheet bilingual berorientasi Learning Cycle 7-E pada materi pokok Laju Reaksi untuk SMA RSBI ditinjau dari kriteria isi, kesesuaian dengan model Learning Cycle 7-E, kriteria penyajian, kriteria kebahasaan, dan kriteria kegrafikaan. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian pengembangan yang menggunakan desain penelitian Research and Development (R & D) dan desain instruksional 4-D models yang dikemukakan oleh Thiagarajan, namun hanya dibatasi sampai tahap develop. Penilaian chemistry worksheet bilingual dilakukan oleh 1 dosen kimia, 2 guru kimia, 1 ahli bahasa Inggris, dan 1 ahli media. Pengumpulan data yaitu dengan metode angket. Metode analisis data dilakukan secara deskriptif kuantitatif menggunakan persentase untuk mengetahui kelayakan chemistry worksheet bilingual yang dikembangkan. Chemistry worksheet bilingual dikatakan layak jika persentase dari masing-masing kriteria kelayakan mencapai 51% . Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa chemistry worksheet bilingual berorientasi Learning Cycle 7-E layak digunakan dalam proses pembelajaran karena telah memenuhi kriteria kelayakan isi berturut-turut dari worksheet 1, 2, 3, dan 4 sebesar 88,89%; 93,06%; 86,11%; dan 84,72%, kesesuaian dengan model Learning Cycle 7-E sebesar 89,39%; 89,39%; 86,36%; dan 87,88%, kriteria penyajian sebesar 84,26; 86,11%; 83,33%; dan 84,26%, kriteria kebahasaan sebesar 75%; 95%; 85; dan 85%, serta kriteria kegrafikaan sebesar 89,29%; 89,29%; 85,71%; dan 85,71%. Kata kunci : Penelitian pengembangan, Chemistry worksheet bilingual, Learning Cycle 7-E, kelayakan   Abstract : This aims of this research are to know the feasibility of chemistry worksheet bilingual with Learning Cycle 7-E orientation in the reaction rate topic for beginner international senior high school based on criteria of content, suitability with Learning Cycle 7-E model, presentation, language, and graphisity. This research is development research using Research and Development (R & D) as research design and 4-D models as instructional design that suggested by Thiagarajan, but only limited until develop phase. Assessment of chemistry worksheet bilingual conducted by 1 chemistry lecturer, 2 chemistry teachers, 1 english language expert, and 1 media expert. Method of data collection is questionnaire method. Method of data analysis was done by quantitative descriptive use percentage to know the feasibility of chemistry worksheet bilingual that developed. Chemistry worksheet bilingual is feasible if the percentage of each feasibility criteria reach 51%. The result showed that chemistry worksheet bilingual with Learning Cycle 7-E orientation is feasible used in the learning process because it has met the feasibility criteria of content respectively from worksheet 1, 2, 3, and 4 is 88,89%; 93,06%; 86,11%; and 84,72%, suitability with Learning Cycle 7-E model is 89,39%; 89,39%; 86,36%; and 87,88%, presentation criteria is 84,26; 86,11%; 83,33%; and 84,26%, language criteria is 75%; 95%; 85; and 85%, and graphisity criteria is 89,29%; 89,29%; 85,71%; and 85,71%. Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kelayakan tes diagnostik berbasis komputer menggunakan program PHP MySQL pada materi pokok kesetimbangan kimia SMA kelas XI berdasarkan hasil validitas konstruksi, isi, dan empiris serta mengetahui ketepatan tes diagnostik berbasis komputer yang dikembangkan. Model penelitian yang digunakan merupakan hasil modifikasi antara model 4-D dengan langkah penyusunan pengembangan tes diagnostik yang ditetapkan oleh Departemen Pendidikan Nasional. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perangkat tes diagnostik yang dikembangkan telah memenuhi standar kelayakan validitas konstruksi dan isi dengan persentase hasil masing-masing sebesar 96,67% dan 94,50% dinyatakan sangat kuat. Sedangkan perangkat tes diagnostik berbasis komputer juga telah memenuhi standar kelayakan berdasarkan penilaian guru kimia dan penilaian siswa peserta tes dengan persentase masing-masing secara berurutan sebesar 78,79% dan 75,63% dinyatakan layak untuk digunakan di lapangan. Pada uji coba II terhadap 32 siswa ada 4 siswa yang belum tuntas. Siswa yang belum tuntas belajar kemudian didiagnosis sesuai dengan peta tes diagnostik. Dari peta diagnostik dapat terbaca dimana letak kesulitan belajar siswa. Pada penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa tes diagnostik yang dikembangkan dapat digunakan di lapangan. Pada penelitian berikutnya diharapkan peta diagnostik dapat dimasukkan ke dalam program untuk mempercepat proses diagnosis. Kata kunci: tes diagnostik, program PHP MySQL. Abstract: The aims of this research are determine the feasibility of computer-based diagnostic tests using MySQL PHP program on the subject matter of chemical equilibrium XI high school class based on the construct validity, content validity, and the concurrent as well as knowing the accuracy of computer-based diagnostic tests are developed. The research model used is a modified version of the model 4-D with the preparation of the development of a diagnostic test measures set by the Ministry of Education. The results showed that computer-based diagnostic tests have been developed to meet eligibility standards of construction and content validity of the percentage of each by 96,67% and 94,50% expressed very strong. While the computer-based diagnostic tests has been meeting the eligibility standard based on valuation and assessment of students' chemistry teacher candidates with the percentage of each sequence of 78,79% and 75,63% declared eligible for use in the field. In the second trial against the 32 students there are 4 students who have not been completed. Students who have not been thoroughly studied and diagnosed according to our diagnostic tests. Diagnostics can be read from a map where the location of students' learning difficulties. In this study we can conclude that the diagnostic tests being developed could be used in the field. In the next study is expected to map the diagnostic can be incorporated into the program to speed up the process of diagnosis.   Key words: diagnostic test, PHP MySQL program.

Abstract

Abstrak: Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui kelayakan Science-Chemsitry Student Worksheet berdasarkan kriteria isi, kesesuaian dengan SAVI, penyajian, dan kebahasaan. Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah R&D (Research and Development) dengan 4D Models (Define, Design, Develop, Disseminate) oleh Thiagarajan sebagai tahap pengembangannya. Penelitian ini dibatasi pada tahap Define, Design, dan Develop. Hasil penelitian ini adalah kelayakan isi worksheet untuk gaya belajar somatic, auditory, visual, dan intellectual adalah 90,28%, 94,44%, 90,28%, dan 94,44%; kelayakan kesesuaian worksheet dengan SAVI untuk gaya belajar somatic, auditory, visual, dan intellectual adalah 75%, 83,33%, 90,47%, dan 91,67%; kelayakan penyajian worksheet untuk gaya belajar somatic, auditory, visual, dan intellectual adalah 81,48%, 86,11%, 88,57%, dan 83,33%; kelayakan kebahasaan worksheet untuk gaya belajar somatic, auditory, visual, dan intellectual adalah 83,33%. The method used in the research is R&D (Research and Development) and 4D Models (Define, Design, Develop, Disseminate) by Thiagarajan as development phase. The research is limited in Define, Design, and Develop. The result of the research is the content feasibility of worksheet for learning style of somatic, auditory, visual, and intellectual are 90,28%, 94,44%, 90,28%, and 94,44%; the feasibility of SAVI compatibility of worksheet for learning style of somatic, auditory, visual, and intellectual are 75%, 83,33%, 90,47%, and 91,67%; the appearance feasibility of worksheet for learning style of somatic, auditory, visual, and intellectual are 81,48%, 86,11%, 88,57%, and 83,33%; the language feasibility of worksheet for learning style of somatic, auditory, visual, and intellectual are 83,33%. Abstract

Abstrak : Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui keterampilan sosial siswa meliputi keterampilan komunikasi (bertanya serta menyumbangkan ide/pendapat), keterampilan menjadi pendengar yang baik, dan keterampilan bekerja sama melalui penerapan model pembelajaran  koopertif tipe NHT. Sasaran penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas X SMAN 9 Surabaya. Rancangan penelitian ini menggunakan?one shoot case study?.Metode pengumpulan data keterampilan sosial melalui observasi menggunakan lembar observasi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa keterampilan sosial siswa dalam komunikasi aspek bertanya pada pertemuan I mendapat kategori cukup berhasil, pertemuan II, dan III mendapat kategori sangat berhasil, aspek mengungkapkan ide/pendapat pada pertemuan I mendapat kategori cukup berhasil, pertemuan II mendapat kategori berhasil, dan pertemuan III mendapat kategori sangat berhasil, aspek menjadi pendengar yang baik pada pertemuan I, II, dan III mendapat kategori sangat berhasil, dan aspek bekerja sama pada pertemuan I dan II mendapat kategori berhasil dan pertemuan III mendapat kategori sangat berhasil.   Kata kunci : Keterampilan Sosial, Pembelajaran Kooperatif NHT, Reduksi Oksidasi Abstract : The aims of the research are to know the students' social skills including communication  skills (asking as well as contribute ideas/opinions), the skills to be a good listener, and collaboration  skills and student learning outcomes through the application of learning models of cooperative NHT type. Objectives of this study is the students in class X SMAN 9 Surabaya. The design of this study using the "one shoot case study." Data collection methods for social skills through observation using the observation sheet. The results of this study indicate that students' social skills in the communication aspect of the meetings I had a successful category, meeting II, and III had a very successful category, aspects express ideas / opinions in a meeting I had a successful category, meeting II had a successful, and the meeting III have very successful category, aspects of being a good listener at the meeting I, II, and III had a very successful category, and aspects of working together at a meeting I and II had a successful category and the meeting III had very successful category. Abstract

Abstract : The study entitled  ?Relationship  between Metacognitive Knowledge and Student Learning Outcomes Through Cooperative Learning Model Type Think Pair Share on Buffer Solution Matter? aims to determine relationship between Metacognitive Knowledge and Student Learning Outcomes after applied metacognitive knowledge through cooperative learning model Type Think Pair Share at buffer solution. The method used in this research is once group pretest-postest design, this design used in one group of subjects will be treated with the implemention of cooperative learning model Type Think Pair Share. The results of  metacognitive knowledge is symbolized by the variable X and student learning outcomes is symbolized by the variable Y. And then the variable X and Y wanted to do using correlation coefficient formula. Result of research showed that there is very strong relationship between metacognitive knowledge and student learning outcomes the results of the correlation coefficient of 0.809. Result of r count rates (0.809) is greater than r-Theoretic with N = 39 at 1% significant level of 0.408, so that it can be stated that the correlation between metacognitive knowledge and student learning outcomes significantly.   Keywords: Metacognitive Knowledge, Learning Outcomes,  Cooperative Learning Model Type Think Pair Share     Abstrak : Penelitian yang berjudul ?Hubungan antara Pengetahuan Metakognitif dengan Hasil Belajar Siswa melalui Model Pembelajaran Kooperatif Tipe Think Pair Share pada Materi Larutan Penyangga? bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara pengetahuan metakognitif dengan hasil belajar siswa setelah diterapkan pengetahuan metakognitif melalui model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Think Pair Share pada Materi Larutan Penyangga. Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini ialah once group pretest-postest design, dalam desain ini digunakan satu kelompok subjek yang akan diberikan perlakuan dengan penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Think Pair Share. Data hasil pengetahuan metakognitif disimbolkan dengan variabel X dan hasil belajar siswa disimbolkan dengan variabel Y. Kemudian variabel X dan Y dicari hubungannya menggunakan rumus koefisien korelasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa terdapat hubungan yang sangat kuat antara pengetahuan metakognitif dan hasil belajar siswa yaitu dengan hasil koefisien korelasi sebesar 0,809. Harga r hitung (0,809) lebih besar  dari r-teoritik dengan N=39 pada taraf signifikan 1% sebesar 0,408, sehingga dapat dinyatakan bahwa korelasi antara pengetahuan metakognitif dan hasil belajar siswa signifikan.   Kata Kunci: Pengetahuan metakognitif, Hasil belajar, Model Pembelajaran Kooperatif Tipe Think Pair Share

Abstract

Abstrak. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui kelayakan Chemistry Student Worksheet Berorientasi SETS Pada Materi Pokok Koloid untuk RSMABI berdasarkan penilaian oleh dosen kimia, guru kimia, ahli bahasa, dan ahli media terhadap kriteria isi penyajian, kebahasaan, graphity dan kesesuain dengan komponen SETS. Rancangan penelitian ini menggunakan modifikasi yang mengacu pada model 4-D (four D models) oleh Thiagarajan, tetapi hanya terbatas pada tahap develop. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah lembar telaah dan lembar validasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Chemistry Student Worksheet Berorientasi SETS yang dikembangkan telah layak digunakan dalam proses pembelajaran untuk RSMABI karena telah memenuhi kriteria isi, penyajian, kebahasaan, kegrafikaan, dan kesesuain dengan komponen SETS masing-masing dengan persentase berturut-turut sebesar 82,52%,  83,44%, 87,50%, 94,64 % and 85,94%.   Kata Kunci: Chemistry student worksheet, SETS, Koloid, kelayakan. Abstract. This research has been done to know the feasibility of Chemistry Student Worksheet with SETS Orientation to colloid Topic For RSMABI, based on assessment by Chemistry lecturer, Chemistry teacher, specialist of language, and media specialist about feasibility criteria for contents, presentation, language, graph and suitability of SETS components. Device of Research relate at modification of four D (4-D) models by Thiagarajan but it is limited in develop step. Instruments That are used sheet review sheet and validity. The results showed That of Chemistry Student Orientation Worksheet with SETS have been developed competent used in the learning process for RSMABI has since met feasibility criteria for contents, presentation, language, and suitability of SETS graph components, each with a row percentage of 82.52 %, 83.44%, 87.50%, 94.64% and 85.94%.   Key words: Chemistry Student Worksheet, SETS, colloids, feasibility.

Abstract

Abstrak: Analisis tes hasil belajar siswa melalui media pembelajaran blog pada materi alkana, alkena, dan alkuna yang bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan  tes hasil belajar siswa dengan menggunakan blog. Penelitian ini dikembangkan dengan menggunakan metode penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil tes belajar siswa pada setiap indikator yaitu: indikator 1 sebesar 100%, indikator 2 sebesar 89 %, indikator 3 sebesar 100%, indikator 4 sebesar 96,66%, indikator 5 sebesar 100%, indikator 6 sebesar 93,33%, dan indikator 7 sebesar 100%. Hal tersebut menunjukan bahwa ketuntasan tes hasil belajar siswa sangat baik yaitu dengan rata-rata 96,99% dengan standart ketuntasan minimal ?75%. Ketuntasan tes hasil belajar tersebut menjelaskan bahwa media pembelajaran e-learning berbasis blog sangat layak digunakan. This research was developed by using the methods of qualitative descriptive research. Student test results on each indicator as follows: first indicator at 100%, second indicator 89%, third indicator  100%, fourth indicators at 96.66%, fifth indicators at 100%, sixth indicators at 93.33%, seventh indicators at 100%. This test shows that the completeness of student test becomes excellent with an average of 96.99% with a minimum standard completeness is ?75%. Abstract

Abstract: The aims of these research to know the implementation of inquiry learning model to practice  critical thinking skills and to know the critical thinking skills improved after the implementation of inquiry learning model . The type of this research is a quasi-experimental research design with one group pretest posttest design. The research was carried out in class XI IPA 5 SMA Negeri 1 Bojonegoro. The instrument used was the observation sheet of implementation of  inquiry learning model and critical thinking skills test sheet. Data were analyzed by quantitative descriptive method. The results showed that implementation inquiry learning model in sub material solubility and solubility product at the meeting I accomplished well, with the percentage of 78.46%, implementation in both II and III meeting accomplished very well with the percentage of 82.14% and 81.42%. Increasing in overall critical thinking skills were high with <g> value is 0.8, which respectively increased critical thinking skills to formulating questions, formulating hypotheses, designing experiments, reported the results of observation, the ability to reason and draw conclusions based on the facts were high, with <g> respectively 0.81, 0.84: 0.75: 0.85: 0.74 and 0.89. Key words: inquiry, critical thinking, solubility, solubility product Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui keterlaksanaan model pembelajaran inkuiri dalam melatihkan keterampilan berpikir kritis dan peningkatan keterampilan berpikir kritis setelah diimplementasikan model pembelajaran inkuiri. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah quasi eksperimen dengan desain penelitian one group pretest posttest design. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di kelas XI IPA 5 SMA Negeri 1 Bojonegoro. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah lembar pengamatan keterlaksanaan model pembelajaran inkuiri dan lembar tes keterampilan berpikir kritis. Data dianalisis dengan metode deskriptif kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa keterlaksanaan model pembelajaran inkuiri pada sub materi kelarutan dan hasil kali kelarutan pada pertemuan I terlaksana baik dengan persentase 78,46%, pertemuan II dan III terlaksana baik sekali dengan persentase 82,14%, dan 81,42%. Peningkatan  keterampilan berpikir kritis secara keseluruhan termasuk kategori tinggi dengan <g> sebesar 0,8, yang mana masing-masing peningkatan keterampilan berpikir kritis merumuskan pertanyaan, merumuskan hipotesis, merancang percobaan, melaporkan hasil observasi, kemampuan memberikan alasan, dan menarik simpulan sesuai dengan fakta termasuk kategori tinggi, dengan <g> masing-masing adalah 0,81; 0,84; 0,75; 0,85; 0,74 dan 0,89.
