Abstract

Abstract : This research was a developmental research of mathematics learning materials nuanced of characters using Numbered Head Together (NHT) cooperative learning. The type of this research was a developmental research by using 3-D model, it consisted of  3 steps namely define, design, and develop. The subject of a research of a equation of straight line for grade VIID of SMP Negeri 1 Pakusari. The criterion of the materials developmental included three things: the validity, practically, and effectiveness. The results of the research were of Teaching Plan, Work Sheet, and achievement test. The result source of all those learning material satisfied the validity criteria, teacher activity percentage were 84,44%, 93,33%, and 95,56% of practical criteria. The effectiveness criteria of the student’s activity percentage were 76,67%,78,23%,and 84,51%, the responses of student was more than 80%, and the students achievement was 88,99%. Abstract

Abstract : The research purpose are knowing process and result of Developing Characterized Mathematics Learning Materials Based On Quantum Teaching For Social Arithmatics Topic At Grade Seven Of Junior High School. Learning Set development models refers to 4D Thiagarajan models. This research has  product namely Sillaby, Lesson Plan, Student book, Worksheet, and evaluation test which have advantages. This product has been implemented in characteristics of Quantum Teaching Model and character building in all of learning sets. Based on  validation process and tryout the learning materials can be concluded that the learning materials had been appropriate with validate, practice, and effective criteria. Abstract

Abstract : this Research was intended to know the significant effect of Collaborative Strategic Reading (CSR) on the eleventh grade students’ reading comprehension achievement at SMA Negeri 2 Bondowoso. The research design was quasi experimental research with Post-test Only Control Group Design. The population of this research was the eleventh grade students of SMA Negeri 2 Bondowoso. Classroom random sampling was applied to select the sample of the research. The data were collected by using a reading comprehension test. T-test was used to analyze the collected data. Based on the data analysis result, it was found that there was a significant effect of CSR on the eleventh grade students’ reading comprehension achievement at SMA Negeri 2 Bondowoso. In addition the DRE calculation showed that teaching reading by using CSR was 11.940% more effective than teaching reading by using Question-Answer strategy. Abstract

This product has been implemented in characteristics of Whole Brain Teaching Technique and character building in all of learning sets. Abstract

Abstract : The purpose of this research is to make less mistake of student during solve is a problem in a story term. We will use Cooperative Learning methods by using Think Pair Share. This research type of Classroom Actions Research (CAR) of two cycles, there are two meetings in each cycles. In the both cycle, we used arithmatics social. The data collecting methods are documentation, observation, test and interview. The data we analys mistake of student work sheet of exam, teacher’s activities, students’ activities and students’ test result. The Final result of students’ activities in this research from the first cycle to the second cycle has increased and also final result of students’ test result is increase then mistake of have been allay.   Key Words : Cooperative learning methods by using think pair share, students’ test result, students’ activities, term of mistake student.

Abstract

Abstract : This research aims to determine the percentage of each level questions about the national examination mathematics vocational school 2011/2012 school year based on SOLO taxonomy, and to determine the composition of the SOLO taxonomy level at each National Competency Standards Graduates Examination (SKLUN) Mathematics vocational school 2011/2012 school year. Sources of data in this study include documents mathematic questions vocational school national examination in 2012 to three vocational groups, are : (1) the Technology, Health, and Agriculture, (2) the Tourism, Arts, Social Studies, Office Administration and Technology household had; and (3) the Accounting and Sales. To analyze the data used descriptive analysis with a qualitative approach. The result shows that the percentage of each level on the SOLO taxonomy questions about the national examination mathematics vocational school 2011/2012 school year for Unistructural (U), Multistructural (M), Relational (R) and extended abstract (E) are respectively 0.84%​​, 38.33%, 60.83% and 0%. The composition of the SOLO taxonomy level on each SKLUN vocational school 2011/2012 school year are vary each vocational group. However, each vocational group are equally dominated by SKL containing two levels which level questions Multistructural and Relational. Abstract

Abstract : This research aims to determine the percentage of each level questions about the  narrative question on mathematics textbook for first year class of SMK for Accounting and Sales skill program based on SOLO taxonomy. The data used in the research is the form of narrative questions on the mathematics textbook. To analyze the data, we use descriptive analysis with a qualitative approach. The result of the data analysis showes that are 327 questions in the mathematics textbooks SMK for Accounting and Sales skill program written by Tuti Masrihani et.al and also written by To’ali. The percentage of level questions based on SOLO taxonomy are: (a) Tuti Masrihani’s book is 0% in the Unistructural level; 22.50% in the Multistructural level; 77.50% in the Relational level and 0% the Abstract Extended level. (b) Toali’s book is  0% in the Unistructural level; 37.13% in the Multistructural level; 62.29% in the Relational level and 0% in the Extended Abstract level. Finally, the result show that based on SOLO taxonomy, level of the question from the books, Relational level is more  than Multistructural level. Abstract

Abstract : Contextual Teaching and Learning is one of learning method that make students to learn mathematics by connecting the material to the real life. Polya model is one of problem solving type that help the students solving mathematic problems. This type of Learning can increase the ability of student activities and student achievement. Students were guided to learn with their teamwork in solving problem. The subject of the research is grade VIII F students of SMPN 5 Jember. The data collection method used in this research are observation, interview and test. From this learn, students can constructs their knowledge by themself. The result show the student activities and student achievement increase in every level. Abstract

Abstract : Textbooks are very important for students and teachers for learning process. The existency mathematics textbooks will be effective when it is adapted cognitive reader level. One aspect of mathematics textbooks that need to be adapted to the cognitive processing of the readers is the level of complexity of question, especially in the Narrative questions. This research is a descriptive study, the research aim to describe the level of questions on the matter of Narrative questions into level of Unistructural, Multistructural, Relational and Extended abstract question based on SOLO Taxonomy. The results show the percentage level of the whole reading exercise that contain in the vocational mathematics textbooks of skills programs technology, health, and agriculture class X, published by Erlangga based on SOLO taxonomy are, 2.34% for the Unistructural level, 47.65% for the Multistructural level and 50.01% for the Relational level. Abstract

Abstract : Tes Potensi Akademik (TPA) is a test that be held to measure the probability of individual success for continuing their study to higher grade as well as for Elementary School Students. This reseach aims to develop TPA Numeric Package which have high validity, reliability, flexibility, and also high mobility in quantitative test. The research subjects are 20 students of Primagama. The research objects are 5 packages of TPA that be applied to a mobile application. The analysis result shows that Package 1 has 97,5% validity, 0,852 of reliability, 27,5% of easy questions, 70 % of medium question,  2,5% of difficult questions. Package 2 has 97,5% validity and 0,841 of reliability, 42,5% easy level, 52,5% medium level, and 3% difficult level. Package 3 has 99% validity dan 0,826 of reliability, 40% easy level, 52,5% medium level, and 7,5% difficult level. Package 4 has 92,5% of validity, 0,870 of reliability, 35% of easy level, 52,5% medium level, and 12,5% difficult level. Package 5 has 97,5% validity, 0.899 of reliability, 37,5% easy level, 57,5% medium level, and 5%  difficult level. The application design has 86,17% of percentage, it means that the application has a good rate. Key Words : TPA, Elementary School, Quantitative Test, Validity, Reliability
